A Popular LA Korean Barbecue Restaurant Is Fined $66K for Wage Theft | Eater LA

"At this Koreatown all-you-can-eat restaurant, I learned that Oo-Kook Korean BBQ violated the Fair Labor Standards Act when a manager participated in the employee tip pool, taking more than $28,000 in tips that should have gone to workers. As a result of the investigation, the owners will pay $28,213 in unpaid tips for 35 workers, $28,213 in liquidated damages for those employees, and a $10,103 civil penalty given the employer’s history of violations. I also noted prior Department of Labor actions: a 2012 investigation resulted in $5,300 in back wages for 14 workers, and a 2020 investigation found an employee at a La Mirada location was owed more than $16,000. The latest probe was part of a cross-regional initiative to advance workplace equity, and the Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance played a critical role in the findings." - Cathy Chaplin

33 LA Restaurants To Help You Avoid Delivery Deja Vu - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Korean BBQ - what a concept. Can you imagine doing that today? Eating at a communal table while everyone picks at the same, small plates of banchan? But that doesn’t mean you can’t have galbi, pork belly, and, in theory, good times at home - The Korean BBQ Kit is now selling kits for two-four people, complete with seasonal banchan, your choice of marinated meat, rice, and dipping sauces. And, if you’re like us (and we’re guessing, many other people) and don’t have your own Korean BBQ set-up at home, they also have table burners, charcoal grills, and butane fuel for purchase. Now the only thing left to do is find a well-curated playlist of Twice songs. Order for delivery through their website." - Kat Hong

Google
Hands down the worst Korean BBQ experience I’ve ever had. The hygiene was atrocious — filthy utensils and plates that looked like they hadn’t been properly washed in days. The meat was shockingly low quality, borderline spoiled with a funky smell and grayish tint that made us question whether it was even safe to eat. The steamed egg? 80% water and tasted like it was cooked in a chemistry lab — a weird, artificial flavor that lingered in the worst way. To top it off, the staff seemed completely uninterested and untrained — more like grumpy students forced into work than actual servers. Rude, inattentive, and borderline hostile. For two people, the bill somehow still came out to $150. The only redeeming factor was that they had parking… which still wasn’t free. Save your money, your appetite, and your stomach. There are way better options out there that won’t make you feel like you need a tetanus shot after dinner.

Google
Wow I was quite impressed with this AYCE kbbq. Their meat quality is pretty top tier. Their beef brisket and beef belly isn’t anything extraordinary but I was so amazed by their rib eye, filet mignon, marinated beef, and other cuts such as pork jowl as well. Their jigaes were great and banchan was solid too. Service was amazing and quick only downside was the floor was super super greasy so very slippery

Google
Oo Kook offers a wide variety of unlimited Korean BBQ options. On weekdays, you can enjoy their Happy Hour special from 5-7 PM at just $30 per person. However, the Happy Hour period tends to be very busy, making parking and securing a table a challenge. Even with valet parking, I had to wait a while to park, and the parking fee is $4. Considering the affordable price for unlimited options, the quality of the meat and food is excellent. Despite the busyness, the staff provided quick and attentive service. In a time of rising prices, their affordable Happy Hour makes this place worth 5 stars!

Came here for friends’s birthday and went for the $38 AYCE. A few thoughts/tips: - Meat quality was good and marinated well. Our favorites are short ribs, bulgogi, filet mignon, beef tongue. - Strong smoke throughout the room which makes dining experience less enjoyable. The vent is set too far away from the grill and so many tables in a closed setting. - You can only order 4 items between each order. We have a party of 6. Not convenient when you have to wait 15 mins in between for meat with a 90 min AYCE limit (although they do not enforce time limit strictly).

Google
Had a late Saturday lunch at 4 pm with our large group. It wasn't too busy at this time, but for our size of 9, they did had to split us into two tables next to each other of 4 and 5. No automatic gratuity for us though. The cost was $37.99 per person. For both tables, we ordered the brisket, chuck flap, ribeye, steamed egg, honeycomb pork belly, beef short rib, and filet mignon. We really enjoyed the filet mignon, beef short rib, chuck flap, and brisket and went back for seconds on our order. Service was pretty good, no complaints. We're definitely keeping this place in mind if we're back in the area for a large group meal. Only downside is no walkable boba spot nearby. They have valet parking, but you can also utilize street parking, if you can find a spot.

Google
Service here was really strong. The servers are so attentive and really fun to talk to. Very speedy too. The food was also great for the price. Very affordable for all you can eat in LA. Be sure to come hungry. The meets were great and everything came out amazingly. I would wish that they had more than three main sauce options because I love yum yum sauce but overall the options they had were still good. I would definitely come back here and am very glad I chose to come

Google
5 Stars – Best AYCE Korean BBQ in LA! Oo-Kook Korean BBQ is hands down one of the best AYCE Korean BBQ in LA! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a spotless, well-kept dining space. The service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always making sure your grill is fresh and your table is stocked. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible. The LA Galbi is out of this world—perfectly marinated, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. The brisket? Juicy, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The quality of the meat here is unmatched for AYCE. On top of that, they serve a huge variety of Banchan, all fresh and flavorful, making every bite even better. If you’re looking for high-quality meats, amazing service, and an all-you-can-eat feast done right, this is the place to go. 10/10, will be back!

Google
It’s wildly popular, so making a reservation is recommended and plan on taking a Lyft or paying the $4 for valet. I feel this place is good, but not great. The flavor of the meats was just not there. The price we paid for the flavors we got was off the mark.

Yelp
Can you go wrong with all you can eat Korean bbq? I don't know. Maybe if you don't make a reservation here on a weekend, because it seemed people who drove into the parking lot and didn't have a reservation decided to go elsewhere due to the wait times. But if you do have a reservation, you get seated quite quickly. You also get to order as much meat as you want, which is always a win. We started out with brisket, filets and ribeye. The ribeye was probably the best cut we ate all night, but the brisket definitely had a lot of flavor and tenderness as well. We reordered those rounds a few times actually, then went off to a few other meats. What I really enjoyed here the most was the tenjang jigae, as the soup had those flavors that really brought me back to my childhood. I'm appreciative of the flavors here and as one of the longer lasting Korean bbq places, this place has held up with quality over time as well. The service is super attentive, the ambiance is nice and it's definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Last Thursday, I was assisted by Sunny and Alex! What I loved about the restaurant is that the staff is very organized & coordinated and "on the move." I was able to receive my meats in a timely fashion as well as any refillable sides whenever I ran low. The biggest highlight was when Alex greeted us during our eating session and politely asked if we'd like to have our meat personally cut up by him on the grill. We approved and he worked like a pro! Good portions of food, good service, and you get your moneys worth. The wait wasn't long either! This is now my favorite go-to spot. Even if there a wait list, trust me that it's worth it :)

Yelp
I wanted to love this place because the meat quality really wasn't bad, but the overall experience was a little chaotic. I'm not sure if this is a custom, but we were greeted when we came through by everyone which was nice! From the moment we sat down, the smoke was everywhere. We were surrounded by four open windows, and every gust of wind seemed to push the smoke straight into my face. It got so bad that the table next to us was coughing and waving their menus to get relief. Between that and the crowded setup, it wasn't exactly the relaxing dinner we'd hoped for. The meats were flavorful and cooked well once we managed the timing, but the sides and salad were just okay, nothing memorable. What really threw me off was how the servers would suddenly appear out of nowhere and start chopping our meat without asking. You would think this is a nice gesture, but it was invasive. The first time it happened, I actually jumped because I didn't even realize someone had come up behind me with scissors. By the fourth or fifth time, we just laughed it off, but it definitely added to the chaos. We didn't have a reservation, and Yelp's wait estimate said less than ten minutes for a party of 2 and being 2nd in line...it ended up being over 30!! Parking was another headache. I wish I'd known about the $4 lot because I spent fifteen minutes circling for street parking and ended up walking about four blocks. Then later I read reviews saying people had valuables taken from their cars, so that was another layer of stress. The restaurant itself felt tight and hectic. When I went to use the restroom, it was like trying to move through a war zone with servers rushing around carrying trays and hot plates. They weren't rude, just focused, but it was clear their job came before anyone trying to get through. Overall, the food was fine, but the environment made it hard to enjoy. I'll probably try another spot next time because Gen K-BBQ still does it better in my opinion.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Filet mignon, ribeye, beef lounge, ox large intestine were so tender so good. Awesome that some of these cuts aren't marinated as well. Everything was great quality and looking forward to returning! Service: 5/5 Staff was great, quick and extremely attentive. Changing the burnt grill often and suggesting various types of meat. Awesome team. Ambience: 3/5 A little tight, a bit too smokey for my liking. Your clothes and body might smell like kbbq for a day or 2 lol.

Yelp
This place has been my go-to for kbbq for years. Quick, friendly, attentive service every time keeps me coming back! This is a two-storey establishment (stairs only), and I do like the vibe upstairs just slightly better, but you can't really go wrong no matter where hi you're seated. I must admit I've only ever eaten the same meats every time, and they've always great: beef brisket (sometimes on the fatty side which I like, sometimes not), bulgogi (one of the best in town!), pork belly slices (like very thinly-sliced bacon), ribeye (needs some salt but delish nonetheless), and marinated beef. Don't forget to ask for the steamed eggs and kimchi rice! A few beers and some soju on the menu, so if you're a cocktail or wine drinker, don't expect them. Lot is valet only ($4 as of March 2025) but I've seen meters around the block. The place gets crazy full after 630 pm even on weeknights, so plan accordingly!

Yelp
Good, consistent spot for ayce KBBQ in Ktown. It's currently $38/person as of August 2025. Reservations can be made on Yelp. They have valet parking which is $5 which isn't too bad. Service here is quick and efficient and you're able to get your food fast after ordering. Banchan is unlimited, my favorites were the kimchi, fish cakes and macaroni and potato salads. There's lots of meat options, highlights for the group I was with was the pork jowl, garlic shrimp, marinated beef and bulgolgi. Quality of the meat is quite decent, no complaints except I wish more of the pork options were marinated. I've been coming here a while and it's a good go to spot, especially if you're not sure where to go and your group wants to do all you can eat.

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday with a party of 5. It was a slow Sunday around 4:30pm. Unfortunately we were placed at a table with a faulty grill. The grill kept turning off and the staff tried to keep us there. We had to request to be moved to a different grill as it was taking ridiculously long for the meats to cook. In that aspect I wish they would have offered the second time or even the third time for us to move. There is a call button that you press for the staff to come get your order which makes it a bit annoying for them I think ahaha. There was a Latino waiter who was extra accommodating and gave us great suggestions about cooking and she meats to choose props to him!!! Overall I would say that the service is okay. The meats were pretty well marinated. There are plenty of KBBQs in ktown but give this one a try if you have some down time.

Yelp
There are obviously a ton of Korean BBQ places in K Town. Of the ones we have been to Oo-Kook is hands down the best. Best food, best service, and while it might be a bit more expensive than the others, if is WAY worth it. No meat sitting out for hours that you serve yourself. They bring it freshly cut from the kitchen and it is super high quality. Tons of sides and sauces. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Alejandro F.

Yelp
Oo Kook is a favorite staple of a couple of friends and mine when it comes to KBBQ in the heart of KTown, and there are several reasons for it: 1. Its seating layout is so well-made that you're never in the way of anyone else. 2. Nice aluminum chopsticks. Such a nice touch that you seldom see at these kind of places! 3. AYCE KBBQ! But truly AYCE. To the point that, when first got here this time around, my friend asked the server for extra banchan from the get-go and the accommodated our request! 4. Last time I came here, they did not have fishcakes, but they do now! Love having them expand and improve the menu on their own volition. 5. All of the cuts are fresh and of high quality. You never feel like you're eating 2nd-grade meat. 6. They have valet parking (please bring cash) OR street parking nearby is also an option! These are just some of the reasons that keep us coming here. Top-notch service too!

Yelp
What was really good was the ribeye steak w/ garlic and rosemary. The rosemary combined with the tender texture and rich flavor of the steak was amazing! You dab each piece in a little sea salt and wrap it in some salad leaves. It's perfect. 2nd was the spicy beef belly. It's like a leaner bacon with beef flavor instead of pork. It was slightly crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. It's eaten the same way above but without the sea salt. I added a little piece of kimchi at the end of both. All of it went down well with some Sapporo beer and sugar, carb free soju. To clean the palette, I had a hot steamed egg.

Yelp
I always enjoy a great KBBQ spot. The food options are wide ranging but my favorite is their Angus Prime Thin Slice Brisket. Another favorite of mine is their Pork Jawl as well as their Thinly Sliced Pork Belly. The sides are on point as well as their sauces. Service is great as the staff will help you with any questions. Parking is valet or adjacent street.

Yelp
Dinner was going well up until the place went up in smoke. We had just received our order of meat to the table before we had to leave the building because of the smoke. Staff didn't even ask us to evacuate, we just couldn't stand being in the smoke filled room any longer. On top of top, front desk associate asked us to pay for our meal and ONLY offered 10% when we were just about halfway thru our time limit. Didn't see any fire extinguishers used. A friend of ours threw up due to being exposed to the smoke. We definitely need to be compensated because not only did we not finish our meal, but they made us step back into the smoke filled building and made us pay, only to give us 10%. Situation could have been handled so much better.
google avatar

Ron W.

Yelp
Food was decent, but there is smoke all over the place, hard to enjoy a meal while inhaling smoke. I have been to many Korean bar b q restaurant, never experienced anything like it ...and they all have grills and hoods ...

Geraldine O.

Yelp
Is this place really closed until June 2026 ? The food here is absolutely amazing & service is spectacular.
google avatar

Rich C.

Yelp
Great find. The staff is super friendly and they keep your meat coming. They also continue to swap the grill as we started to make it super dirty. The meats are great and such a great selection. The prices are a little high but what isnt. The parking is valet and costs $4 or you can street park. Overall yummy and I will be back
google avatar

Keilab A.

Yelp
This is my usual AYCE spot and since my last visit here, I feel like it just doesn't hit the same. It's still a great spot, but their meats have changed in my opinion. The bulgogi has a different taste, the filet mignon and ribeye comes with butter and a sprig of thyme now? the pork belly is no bueno. The grill we had was bad-it would take forever to heat up and cook the meats. Also, they were blasting club type EDM music which was doing too much. I'm curious as to why they fell off. New management? No idea, but I will likely just stick to regular KBBQ restaurants that prioritize meat quality.
google avatar

Yelp
Came in on a late Friday when it just opened (5:00 pm). Used valet ($4) and was seated right away. Service was great and my friends & I understood we had to wait a bit to order later when it was super busy (starting 6:00 pm). Servers were kind and we could see some of then rushing around to accommodate multiple tables. Orders come out fairly quick. Servers sometimes help cut meat or cook a bit. Everything was delicious, from side dishes to meet to soup and noodles. My favorite was theur marinated dishes (spicy pork belly, bulgogi) and thin meat slices (brisket, pork belly thin). Ended up paying about $41-$42 per head (including tax but without tip). Apparently there's a 2nd floor! Bathroom cubicle can be small. Overall, definitely recommend and would like to return!

Yelp
AYCE BBQ - a DTLA Ktown staple. Oo-kook's rendition is $37.99 / person, with extra charges for drinks. The AYCE menu has ~30 items, ranging from cuts of beef, pork, chicken, to seafood and misc side dishes like steamed egg. Banchan spread seems plentiful, with potato salad, macaroni salad, cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled radish, rice paper, japchae, and normal salad. Today's rice paper was disappointing - days-old and crumbled at the touch. Meats seemed reasonably fresh, though wait staff forgot about items a few times Flagging down servers was inconsistent enough that my party needed grill changes b/c the grill had sat there with nothing cooking and started to smoke up. Ventilation was also quite poor, leading to wafting clouds of smoke one would expect in a 60s smoking room.
google avatar

JoyceLynn Q.

Yelp
Good quality and variety of protein. Fast and friendly service with a "come with the family or friends" vibe. Would recommend.
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
Food was fantastic from the meat selection, marinades, and side dishes. The short ribs, ribeye, and jowl were my favorites that I had to keep reordering. I normally enjoy the pork belly but it just wasn't hitting. The sides were so good and complemented the meal. Service was friendly and fast. I wish there was more vents or they worked better or something because I chose the wrong seat and was covered in all the meat smells. Some items took long to come out but meats were always quick so it's fine. Parking can be a pain if you aren't lucky to find any street parking but they do offer valet.
google avatar

Amenda L.

Yelp
Came Saturday evening for a birthday party of 16 FOOD For AYCE there is quite a lot of variety! They had steamed egg, cheese corn, lots of different cuts of meat, and seafood that was delicious. The meat was very fresh and plentiful! I think our favorite cut was the rib eye cut but all was delicious. SERVICE Alex took care of is this night and he was the BEST! Very attentive and helped us prepare and cook our meat. Also, made it such a fun and celebratory event. AMBIANCE nice and spacious with fun music I would say they brought out some matcha ice cream with a really fun birthday candle for the birthday girl! But they did charge us for the ice cream. It wasn't a big charge and we would have paid but it is weird that this wasn't communicated before hand. Overall, despite this I would still come back and recommend it to friends

Yelp
I came to Ookook for my birthday, and even though I didn't end up getting the $10 birthday discount, I still had a great experience. The food is always high quality. I had a lot of meat this time and still left feeling perfectly fine, which says a lot! The staff is attentive and quick to bring out any extra sides when asked. I love coming here because it's clean, spacious, and consistently delivers a great dining experience. Definitely one of my go-to Korean BBQ spots!
google avatar

Angel P.

Yelp
Always great coming here. It quickly became my fave KBBQ restaurant. The flavors, the quality of the meat, the service. I'm drooling just thinking about it. It's fairly easy to get seated and I love the convenience of the valet. It's about $5. Anyway, Bri was AMAZING. Main reason I had to come on here. Great, upbeat energy. Enjoys her love and just added to this specific experience. Super down to earth.
google avatar

Yelp
AYCE for a decent price. Meat quality is ok but it's AYCE so that's expected. Meat variety is very good, they have multiple cuts of beef. Service is good too. The servers grill for you and have a good attitude. Parking is $4. Overall, is it as good as Hae Jang Chon? Probably not. But I still think this place deserves 4-5 stars considering all factors combined.
google avatar

Maidie V.

Yelp
This place was ok. Busser spilled our beer all over our food. Didn't clean it up or offer to replace it. Probably won't come back. Lots of other great restaurants in this area. We were celebrating a bday so a bit disappointing
google avatar

Eric M.

Yelp
It's best all you can eat Korean BBQ in k-town. Good quality of meat and freash. All the server are very professional.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
I have also enjoyed the Korean bbq experience and cuisine. Oo-kook offers all you can eat Korean bbq at a reasonable price. They have wide variety of cuts and have everything from beef to squid. Eating Korean bbq is a shared communal experience where you cook the meat yourself with a burner in the middle. The process is real easy and makes for fun and memorable dining experience. Come hungry because it's all you can eat and once you tap out you are done. The food was all really delicious and the staff were friendly and gave us a great rundown on the process.
google avatar

Sherri L.

Yelp
Best all you can eat bbq for the price . Waiters were very attentive both with getting our orders and reorders and changing out the grills. Lively place with good music playing. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely return.

Bobbie T.

Yelp
My friend had smoke/steam in her face from another table and could not breathe!or eat her dinner. Asked for help..was told nothing could be done. Some of the meats were not eatable...chrewy...

Yelp
For the price of $37.99 per person for AYCE, it really is a steal in the area, considering there are so many surrounding kbbq spots competing against each other. At that price point, I wasn't expecting filet mignon or rib eye to be on the menu, but it was! I personally love meats that are unseasoned because if the meat is fresh, the natural flavors and juices will show. Plus, that's what dipping sauces are for. I enjoyed the filet mignon, rib eye, beef tongue, brisket and the PARKING: $4 VALET on site or you can try to find free parking in the neighborhood. IMO, it's just easier to pay for valet and get it over with so you can enjoy your meal sooner. They did a fantastic job with parking our car and pulling it up so it was easy for us to get out of the parking lot. Make sure to tip them if they do a superb job! SERVICE: It seems like this spot is a hit or miss with service, but we got lucky and our server, Daniel, was super attentive to our needs. He constantly changed our grills before we could even ask for a grill change, and made sure that we always put our meat orders in. I noticed that other tables had to wait longer for their orders because they had a different server. My experience and rating for this kbbq based on service alone would have been very different if Daniel was not our server. Guess we just got super lucky when we went!
google avatar

Cece L.

Yelp
They take reservations. If you didn't reserve ahead of time, put yourself on the waitlist on the iPad at the entrance stairway. Service tends to be inconsistent. Meat quality if a ok for ayce joint. Steamed egg was under seasoned here. The soy bean stew was over seasoned. Salad dressing was too acidic. Mix all that with your choice of alcohol and friends then everything turns fantastic! Expect to smell like kbbq after you eat. $2.99 for ice cream on your way out. Valet is $4.
google avatar

Jillian R.

Yelp
Check out my pic, here's everything you get the second you sit down. Call button service, hospitable staff, most meat variety for a kbbq place. Note: Cash valet or street parking. My favorite!
google avatar

Kacey C.

Yelp
I like that this place takes reservations and has valet parking since there can be long waits and difficulties finding parking in ktown. The restaurant is huge with two levels. I am not a huge meat eater, but the people I ate with seemed satisfied with the meat! I personally enjoyed all the panchans, especially the rice papers and the japchae. We left with very full bellies!!!

Mari J.

Yelp
My favorite kkbq, it's just soo good and so many options. Great music, good vibes. Staff is cool too.

Jonnathan B.

Yelp
With countless spots for KBBQ in Koreatown, where do you go? I've been to Oo-Kook a few times now and each time it's great. The vibe is very lively - they play top hits on the speaker and it's definitely a place where you can have a good time with friends. The service is always great, I love the selection of meats that they offer, and their all you can eat menu is set at a good price point. My favorite cuts are the bulgogi, brisket, beef belly and ribeye. The portions can be hefty, so be aware as you're ordering.

Yelp
I can always count on Oo-kook for an awesome meal that is so satisfying cuz you get to try a bunch of different meats~ My must-orders are: Angus prime brisket, pork belly, beef tongue, ribeye, steamed eggs, and corn cheese!! Trust me, if you don't know where to start, just order what I recommended (can't go wrong!!) Service is also excellent, they must have changed our grill like 5 times without us even asking. And of course, they are happy to bring you any extra banchan (side dishes) or dips/sauces if needed! Needless to say, I'll definitely be back again~

Yelp
Came here for dinner one day and got seated right away. The place is spacious and has tons of seating. They have the usual banchan but my favorite was their japchae! They offer AYCE for $36.99. The price is affordable for AYCE but they didn't have that many choices in meat. My favorite of the meats was their galbi however everything else was just okay. The quality in meat was average. The service was great though and they often come around to help cook your meat and are great with when you need grill changes right away. They have a parking lot but it's $4 valet

Yelp
At a glance: tasty food, good service, and mid ambiance. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Oo-Kook. I do wish the floors weren't permanently slippery, but what are you going to do. I imagine that they must've installed some tile that just doesn't have a great grip. Still glad I went though!

Yelp
Great option for Korean BBQ when wanting to dine with a large group - though not the place for vegetarians. (I'm aware that's hard in general for KBBQ, but calling out because there isn't really anything to eat for vegetarians in the group other than the tofu soup.) Food - all you can eat. Delicious options across meat and seafood, food keeps coming and comes quickly. Service - hectic and not the nicest, but that's all you can eat for ya. Ambiance - loud, pretty crowded restaurant but good for big groups. Valet parking outside the restaurant!

Yelp
Food: Came with some friends and it was definitely one of the best kbbq spots I've tried in a while!! The side dishes were INCREDIBLE! I usually never eat the kimchi at korean restaurants because it's 99% of the time not good but the kimchi here is quite literally the best kimchi I've had in a restaurant EVER!! That's what made this experience a 10/10 because good kimchi I swear is hard to come by!! The meat was delicious, and I don't typically eat chicken at kbbq but their marinated chicken was the star of the show in my opinion!! Service: Service was mid but did not expect much for a kbbq restaurant at peak hours, however, they are very attentive with your grill and will always come by to change it without you asking. The wait was also not too bad though, probably a 15 minute wait. Parking is pretty difficult because it's LA but there's a $5 parking lot right in front on the other side of the small street and they offer $4 valet parking in the actual restaurant lot.

Yelp
It was my first time coming to Oo-kook this past weekend and we had a great experience! I love that you can make a reservation. They also have a parking lot (which was full, but still nice that they have one lol). The quality of the meat was great, our server was fast and super friendly. The sides are great, I really liked the soybean paste soup. They also change out the grill often without us even asking. Overall, great experience and great food!

Yelp
Good kbbq spot with many food options. Brisket, beef tongue, pork belly, and short ribs were good. Recommend mixing the onion with the meat as an extra taste vs the sauce. It's a good affordable kbbq in Ktown $36.99. Ventilation is pretty decent bc they open up all the windows. Their Rosemead location has awful ventilation, you'll cough from the smoke. The service is quick and if they think you suck at cooking they'll come over and cook for you see menu photos attached $4 valet parking.

Yelp
Service was 10/10. They were all so attentive. If they see that you are too busy to cook, they will help turn the meat for you. They are always walking around checking on everyone. Also price was reasonable. The meats were really good quality. The inside was clean. They also have a big parking lot. It was valet when we came on a Saturday night. I didn't mind it at all because parking is really hard to find in LA. Overall, this is our new favorite AYCE KBBQ
