"Once upon a time, Dallas’s historic West End was home to then-hot properties like Planet Hollywood and Spaghetti Warehouse, drawing tourists in from the aquarium, Dealey Plaza, and the convention center. These days, it almost isn’t a destination at all — other than a few notable stops, like Ellen’s for brunch or Record Grill for lunch if you’re in the area. It’s become a bit of a dead zone, abutted by a collection of highways. But a restaurant and entertainment veteran aims to change that with a new, (almost) always-on establishment called the Operator’s Club. Director of operations Christopher Bohn is behind the venue, which he characterizes as a semi-private club, although it will be available to the public at no charge..." - Courtney E. Smith

This place was cool. My wife and I sat at the bar to kill some time before a show at the House of Blues. The menu looked like a covert operations file you'd see in a spy movie, which seems to be the theme of the place. As we sat at the bar, we watched as the servers brought out food to the other patrons. Everything they brought out looked absolutely delicious. The drinks were good, the food was tasty ,the service was fantastic, and the vibe was fun.

Google
Great service! Fun atmosphere and delicious food! We were seated immediately and the dining area is spacious and modern. Despite the open air feel- dining was intimate. We had so much fun ordering the pasta!! Every thing was delicious.

Google
The sliders! If you just get the sliders, you'll be satisfied, I ordered them as an appetizer and shared them with two of my buddies. I had the hot chick chicken sandwhich. It's a huge crispy chicken breast on a nice brioche bun with some slaw. It wasn't spicy thoigh. It was good with ranch. I cant wait to go back and try out the rest of the food. Great service, clean establishment. You may have to pay for parking, a small inconvenience, but worth it. Check out my pictures!

Google
Nice clean and holiday vibe for the winter. great staff and parking was not hard on a weekday with some meters right outside. The espresso Martini is pretty good and pleasing to Instagram too. I got the shrimp skewers and the charred lemon was a nice touch and the shrimp is well seasoned. I'd go back before the Mavs game or before going to the park during happy hour!

Get $25 off your first order by visiting their website! I'll be back again for the nachos! Great drinks, selection, and variety 👌 unique take on many dishes, with creative drink menu.

Google
We were SO impressed with this hidden gem!! We went at 2 pm on a Saturday. The drinks came out fast, the food came out quick & hot, & the service was great. Everything was absolutely amazing!! We had the duck wings - SO GOOD! The steak salad was so refreshing. & my husband said the Mac n cheese burger was the best burger he’s ever had! & we are big burger people. 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be back when in town. Also, we had Aperol spritz. So good!! Love when they know how to make them correctly!

Google
Great place to watch the games. The bartender was outstanding and made some really good cocktails. We were pleasantly surprised by how great our drinks were. Plus the sliders were very tasty and flavorful. Excellent customer service!

Yelp
This is a great spot for date night or to catch the game. The decor is unique and everything was very clean and neat: We went during happy hour and also of items were discounted. Our server/bartender Rachel was super nice and helped us pick the perfect cocktails. We enjoyed the kung pao Brussel sprouts, hot fries, wagyu sliders, the Mary Pasta Zepp, and carrot cake. Everything was really good and large portions.

Yelp
Great service! Fun atmosphere and delicious food! We were seated immediately and the dining area is spacious and modern. Despite the open air feel- dining was intimate. We had so much fun ordering the pasta!! Every thing was delicious. Bathrooms were clean! Entire dining area was so cool to look at. Super friendly servers and everyone was happy. It was so sweet- the bartender made my daughter delicious Shirley temples. Order any pasta- it's incredible. I ordered the cheeseburger salad and the dressing and seasoning on the meat is legit. Super flavorful. Wifey had chicken picatta. *it's extremely lemon-y so if that's not your thing pass right on by* Kids ordered pasta. I was going to order appetizer sliders (3 come in an order) but opted for the cheeseburger salad instead the people next to us did order the sliders and they looked incredible and they are decently sized to be sliders.

Yelp
This is a pretty cool place to come get some eats and drinks. There is a bar area and restaurant seating. They also have a beautiful party area. The service here was super friendly from our server to the manager who came to the table and had a conversation with us. The motz block is death by cheese but in the best way. The chicken sandwich came out hot and crispy and had a good amount of meat compared to breading. If I was back in Downtown Dallas area I would go back.

Yelp
Found this place from a Dallas foodies reel. Went for lunch to check it out and it was awesome. The owner Chris came out to check on us and share some dishes he created and why. We ordered them and OMG, sooooo good (see pictures) Our server Andrew was also very attentive and friendly. He nailed all our special orders. Killer happy hours, they support the Dallas Stars, it's a short walk from American Airlines Center must check out

Lucy M.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped by the Operators Club several hours before a Dallas Stars game near the beginning of the month and had a fun time pregaming here. We arrived around 3:45 on a Tuesday afternoon and it was understandably pretty dead inside; there were only two other parties in the huge sports bar-esque seating area. Our servers were all super nice though and were able to answer all our questions about the menu and drinks. Happy hour here is $2 off cocktails, wines, and non-canned beers, so my friend and I each got a delicious cocktail to start off. My friend quite enjoyed her Trash 75 and I really liked the Haute Star Martini - both drinks actually come with an extra shot of alcohol on the side for you to pour in as you continue drinking. I thought that was an interesting touch. For food, we split the butcher & farmer board since my friend was feeling super hungry, and I got the Operators Club. The board was pretty standard fare, though I quite enjoyed the inclusions of honeycomb, sausage, and fresh fruit & veggies. My jaw definitely dropped when the club was brought out - the presentation itself was already amazing, but the size of the sandwich truly blew me away. The fries below were also seasoned super well, very truffly, which I liked a lot. I kid you not though, the sandwich was so big that I ate it for not one but TWO subsequent lunches in the following days. That's how generous the portion size was. Definitely recommend this sandwich! A quick pop in the toaster oven and the bread stayed soft yet crisp even days later. I wasn't hungry enough for the pasta zeppelins but I have a feeling I'll be back at some point before another Stars game and have to try one of those. And if you check in on Yelp you get a 20% discount on food which makes this place even more of a deal.

Yelp
10/10! This is such a gem! Amazing ambience, food and service!! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I've visited twice and tried two different meals. The first time, I had the New Orleans Tasso (with added shrimp) and the Alfredo in the dish. The New Orleans Tasso is absolutely my favorite - I love the bucatini noodles and the crawfish cream sauce. The dish is made perfect because of these two elements. On my second visit last week, I tried the Pasta Zepplin Alfredo, but unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it. I was excited by the grand display but found it lacked seasoning. I ended up switching it out for the New Orleans Tasso again, and it did not disappoint! I definitely recommend coming here - the service is welcoming, it hasn't been busy, and the New Orleans Tasso is a standout dish.

Peggy S.

Yelp
Rachel and the other young lady in the cool apron were awesome! Customer service was great, nice laid back establishment. Came here after the concert, got a couple of drinks. The kitchen was closed. Irish Maid was tasty! Highly recommend and will come back!!

Alicia M.

Yelp
Came here on an early Saturday brunch. Staff was quick to seat us and knew the menu well. Heads up you will need to pay for parking but well worth it.

Alesa W.

Yelp
Another place in Dallas we found on a whim. At first we were skeptical because no one was really in the restaurant. Also, me being somewhat vegetarian there was not much for me to choose from when it came to savory dishes but thankfully they had something for me they could make. They made migas and I added potatoes on the side and the migas definitely HIT! They give you large portions too which is good, definitely had leftovers-pretty much all of us! Service was ok, it seemed like the first waitress didn't understand what I wanted and kept having to go back to the kitchen to ask questions until another waitress took over. The ambiance was very chill, not busy which was good for us because we were hungry and didn't want to wait hours for good food!

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Location Lamar and McKinney corner downtown Dallas. Parking Street-some free, some metered. Atmosphere Very classy, upscale-large tv's throughout. Seating Large bar, variety of high/low tops-side bar facing the street-great for groups. Service Outstanding, personable-ask for Ricky-manager. Menu Outstanding list-happy hour and brunch specials. We had the roasted brussel sprouts-excellent, right amount of heat-scattered cashews, roasted perfectly-okay, this serving was huge-we shared it and ate it the rest of the week!! We also had the sliced beef sandwich with au juice. It came with a fried egg on top. The sliced bread was the best to hold all the beef. It came with thin cut fries that had parmesan cheese. Yum! The customers nearby had the nachos that come is a can that is lifted and the nachos spread on the platter. The sandwich-? Was giant-he had to really compress it to get it into his mouth. Summary Downtown classy sports bar-love it!! Great menu, outstanding service, love the atmosphere! Do check it out!

Joe M.

Yelp
What a great pub. Excellent food and great service. Their pasta and sandwiches are fantastic but the best part was the cinnamon waffles with lavender ice cream totally went off the chart. We will definitely go back again.

Yelp
Solid spot....its a kind of odd spot....but once you're here, it's good! I visited on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. Bar service was crisp, just the right amount of attention, with a few others at the pretty large bar top. Food was great! Had the sliders for a meal and it was great! Ordered a manhattan and bartender did a great job...consistent through the next couple. I would definitely say give this spot a try....ill try brunch sometime it looks good.

Suzanne C.

Yelp
Good service and good food. Plenty of TV's so good place to watch a game or pre-game before a night out.

Michael M.

Yelp
So we started of the day with our cousin visiting from Sacramento, her husband coaches a college football team and they were out here playing a team so we decided to get together and spend the afternoon in Dallas taking in the sites, so we were accompanied by myself my wife the cousin, and two other coaches wives, we decided to do the Dealey plaza museum tour which was great as well, (another review) after the tour we were famished (hungry) I did what I normally do went to Yelp, there were about a dozen or so places that came up and I read the reviews and looked at pictures, (I'm a visual creature) we decided on the Operators Club, and when I say we were not disappointed, that was the understatement of the year, we were immediately met and the door and seated, the menus were unique in there design as well as some of their dishes names, after much gazing at other peoples orders we placed ours and waited, and OMG when the order was delivered we were not disappointed, they say we eat with our eyes and if that is true I was already in heaven with the meals, I had ordered the WTF or in military speak Whiskey Tango Fox-Trot, what you say when you see something so amazing you're lost for words, the smell of the fresh waffles, and the chicken and bacon immediately starts the Pavlov response, the first bite was a perfect food experience explosion of Sweet, Savory, heat, smoky, ( you get the idea) one of the best foods I've eaten in quite awhile, it was truly something that you'll have to experience, Chris came out and asked how everyone was doing and just smiles and stuffed cheeks was the answer, this place is truly one of those places you need to experience and make sure you have plenty of room because it's hard to stop once you've started, thank you all at Operators club for a memorable experience that we talked about the rest of the day. We will be back.

Yelp
Super legit burger Burger plus drinks 100 coconuts Service was quick and the appetizers are legit

Tabatha M.

Yelp
Pro: This Alfredo was the best Alfredo I've ever had. Everytime we go eat I'm always like "why doesn't anywhere ever offer cheese sticks anymore".. and it was the best cheese stick I've had in a long time!! Con: They are a credit / debit card ( cashless ) restaurant. Which is definitely inconvenient if you are like us and always pay with cash. We did walk in and immediately all we saw was the hostess sitting at the bar on her phone, we got here about 9pm and it was pretty empty and still took us a while to be greeted by our waitress. The Operators Club

Travis S.

Yelp
Went back again for brunch and the chicken fried steak and eggs just might be the best in Dallas. Also tried the sliders which were fantastic and the tater kegs are so delicious. The food here is TOP NOTCH. Great happy hour M-F 3-7 and even on the weekends from 2-5. Service is quick and friendly and the ambiance is awesome with all the big TV's for any sports game. Will be going back to try more menu items soon.

Claudia C.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem located right by the American Airlines Arena. We only walked 8 minutes after the Mavs game and it's super easy to find. The inside is so cute, rustic looking and definitely a great spot to go to before a Mavs game or after. Now the food, absolutely incredible. Everything we had was amazing. I highly recommend the bread zeppelin just because it's such a unique menu item that I know you can't get everywhere. The pasta inside is full of flavor and you can add whatever protein you want. We opted for the chicken and it was delicious. I got the Mac and Cheese burger which was also very tasty and will fill you up. Disclaimer I always order my burgers medium rare for flavor so that is why there is pink. You can order the burger however you want. The fries were just ok definitely could use some seasoning but when I ordered the sandwich I was not focused on the side item. Plenty of drink options here, we opted for a margarita and it was made perfectly. Our waiter was very good and quick. Overall such a great restaurant and we will definitely be back when we are back in town!!

Sara S.

Yelp
WARNING: Large portions are served here! Dear Lord, we should've shared some things. Started with the nachos and they were amazing. Brought in a gallon coffee can and dumped out. And then I got the Wagyu sliders. Delish but already full from the nachos! Then daughter and hubby got burgers. The Mac and cheese burger took a discussion on how to approach it. We decided cut it in half and squish it was for the win. She said it was delicious. The beer was cold. Our server was new but she did a great job. There was no wait which scared us but it was a win!! Def recommend.

Dalana M.

Yelp
Place was cool. Food was amazing. Service was slow. Trying to tab out with 4 checks and the server kept walking away in between each check, when we were trying to get to the stars game. They don't accept cash which is so dumb. "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private" is on U.S. currency because cash must be accepted to settle debts.

Trey R.

Yelp
The Alfred is a must! We stopped by on the way back to okc if your in the area defiantly stop by! also recommend the mozz log is mouth watering

Kevin K.

Yelp
Coldest draft beer I have ever had! Great atmosphere as well! The servers had great recommendations for the food as well.

Senhora K.

Yelp
I went here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. There were very few people dining in and a solo person at the bar. It was a walkable location from West End tram station and there appears to be plenty of parking in the area. I had the chicken fried steak and my companion had a very large sandwich called The Breakfast Club. The chicken fried steak was a ground patty/salisbury with very heavy breading that managed to not stick to the meat. It appeared very large when it arrived but the size was because of the huge air gap between the breading and the meat. I did not enjoy it. The potatoes were okay. My friend liked the sandwich but he couldn't eat the accompanying potatoes because of the sheer size. The waiter was mostly attentive (probably due to the restaurant being empty) but made no inquiries about how we enjoyed the food.

Tatiana M.

Yelp
The drinks were good. I had the Tasso pasta...something I don't frequently see on menus so that was nice. The restaurant was calm and quiet around brunch time on a Sunday.

Joel Z.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was nice and attentive. Looking forward to going back. The prime rib sandwich was maybe the best sandwich I've ever had.

Gerardo N.

Yelp
Got dinner night before snowstorm. Empty but waitress very attentive. Good comfort food. Gabby was our server and was very good. Prices not bad. Would recommend it.

Skye W.

Yelp
Nice and attentive server. We went in for happy Hour- that HH could be and should be better priced. It was a nice and spacious venue. The sliders were good- drink was even better. I'd revisit.

Miguel M.

Yelp
Must visit in Dallas! Located near several points of interest like the American Airlines Center, House of Blues, Aquarium, JFK site, and Klyde Warren Park. This restaurant hits several checkboxes; sports, date night, pre-game, group outing, family fun. The staff is more than accommodating with your event, I've seen corporate happy hours, anniversaries, influencer reviews, sports watch parties, etc. Just mind the food portions are large, but doesn't take away from the tastiness.

Amber C.

Yelp
I was told the food wasn't anything special, I feel like I was lied to. It's conveniently located, so I've eaten there twice...chicken piccata once and osso buco once..both times, very nicely done and comforting. Wait staff is wonderful and atmosphere is chill.

Israel M.

Yelp
As Nike says, "just do it". The food is was great, hot & came at a reasonable time. The service was impeccable & want to give a shout out to everyone: the hostess, our server, & Rick - Rick was the MVP & came around the tables to ensure everything was okay. Great experience and great food. You can't beat it! Ambience was fitting and the music was great as well! 10/10 recommend if you ever visit Dallas!

Diana T.

Yelp
This was such a great find in downtown Dallas. I had the Mac and cheese burger and it was super delicious! Service was amazing and atmosphere was clean, and lots of screens will be back! Must try!

Juan J.

Yelp
Great food, good drinks came in for Monday night football sat at the bar it was perfect night for the wife and I

Courtney P.

Yelp
Holy wow everyone needs to experience this place!!!! Super cute inside and they had live music on a Tuesday evening. Service was good, the server knew the menu and made good suggestions. We got the tater kegs and mozz log as appetizers. And then the handheld grilled chicken Alfredo and the buff chic sandy. EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally can't say enough with how amazing the food was here. The truffle fries were delicious, and the RANCH!!!!!!! Oh my gosh the ranch was so decadent!!!!!!!!

Jacob M.

Yelp
A very solid place for Italian food with a twist! Whether that's a giant mozzarella square, huge tater tots or baguettes stuffed with pasta. The restaurant has a gastropub/speakeasy vibe. The service was great; they were nice, quick, and attentive to what we needed. Would definitely recommend going to grab a fun nighttime meal!

Mel Z.

Yelp
6 months tops Super cute and friendly staff Food, Total fail. Ambience; Smacks of an empty oversized sports bar with a treble and bass only sound system playing a challenging selection just loud enough to be annoying. Suppose to be a coffee shop in the morning. Really odd setting for that. Apparently a client b at night. Downtown really doesn't need a sports bar at night, especially in a super sketch area. It's new, perhaps they'll try a completely new approach, but I doubt it. Sad to see. Hard pass on this one.

Lisa A.

Yelp
Once again this place is outstanding! Great place to catch a game and excellent service. They are beyond accommodating with food allergies and always get everything perfect. Can't go wrong with their Mac & Cheese Burger, Steak Parm Salad, and The Hot Chick is to die for!!! My go to place whenever I'm in town. Hands down the best!

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Generous portions, some of the best quality food in the area, nice staff, and clean floors/seats/tables/bathroom etc. A great gem for the area

Jenna F.

Yelp
Visiting from Minnesota. Best meal we have had in long time! Reasonable prices for the size of the meal. Very highly recommend the burger! So good!

Brandon U.

Yelp
This was a great place to watch a game and get a beer. I accidentally left my phone there and being from out of town, I wasn't able to easily retrieve it. I reached out and Operators Club not only found my phone but sent it back. The next time I'm in Dallas, I will certainly return!

Dave M.

Yelp
27 minutes to get a beer? There are a total of six people at the bar, including us. Perhaps you should hire two bartenders, one for every three people. When the glass is empty, instead of just taking it perhaps ask "would you like another drink" instead of flirting with the regulars. It would have been quicker to get a table, order a drink, close out and take it to the bar than to order at the bar. Six people including us (2). Six.

Sara S.

Yelp
Great food and drinks! Second time coming here and we've left impressed each time. Music was such a vibe. Servers were super sweet as well. The manager, Ricky, stopped by to introduce himself. Operators Club will definitely be one of our new favorites in the area. Keep it up!

Jessica O.

Yelp
We ordered the wagu burgers, the Alfredo pasta with chicken & shrimp, truffle fries, chicken piccata and the lavender ice cream dessert and EVERY SINGLE thing was a 10/10!!! Plus the vibes were on point! These days I enjoy places where the food matches the aesthetic and this place did not disappoint!!

Kaelyn L.

Yelp
Went here to celebrate some birthdays! Drinks and food were amazing, no complaints. We had an array of options on the table from the menu. My friend did get the shrimp tower salad and it only had 4 shrimp. That was a bit disappointing but other than that... great service, great atmosphere, and great food and drinks.

Theresa W.

Yelp
The food was unique very good! The atmosphere of the restaurant was very suiting for downtown.

Jeremy J.

Yelp
Walked in and all of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was pretty quiet during lunch hours as far as noise level goes. Sat at the bar, my bartender was quick to help and got my order down perfectly. I ordered the wagyu sliders and they did not disappoint! 3 juicy sliders loaded with fixin's and seasoned to perfection. I also picked up a side of their truffle fries which came out hot, flavorful, and fresh just like the sliders. This is absolutely a perfect place to watch the game, and I'll be back soon to try out some of their specialty cocktails!

kenya g.

Yelp
Great little hidden gem. Went for my nieces birthday. Service was excellent. Waitress was very attentive, even with our large, boisterous group. All the food was very good and the prices were very reasonable. Drinks were good also. Although i never went to see the other side of the restaurant, the area we were in was very cute. Would return with a smaller group to try more menu items. The duck wings were my favorite

Anthony T.

Yelp
Very good ambience and vibes. Also their zepplin spaghetti sandwich is really good. Definitely worth visiting.
