Yelp
Some out of town friends got a recommendation from local friends who live a couple blocks away about this corner restaurant in the Inner Richmond. Coworkers of our hosts raved about this place made this a weekend dinner party destination.
Our group of eight were seated at a window table in the 2nd dining room to the right. The restaurant was full when I arrived just before 7 pm. The out of towners crafted our family style meal as I was too tired to even look at the menu. Given the busy atmosphere, I'm sure the restaurant appreciated our efficiency in ordering our meal. I started by ordering the Thai iced tea with coconut milk (+0.50) (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=m4NVGOSRXekWjVtrmPJAbg). It was not overly pungent nor too sweet. The milk gave a richness to this drink. The meal was ordered family and here's what we tried:

From the appetizers, my favorites were the laab and the Gai Manow (never tried before). For mains, both curries were very tasty and paired well with the various rice offerings. I enjoyed the two noodles and fried rice too. The broccoli was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Given the dining traffic, the service was efficient with empty bowls and plates removed and water glasses refilled. For a more relaxed dining experience, my guess is weeknights are probably practical. I would like to return and explore more of their large menu. Thank you for our gracious hosts for bringing me here.
