Fantastic little place. Food was very good (had some cheesebread) and had a very interesting conversation. Drank The Indictment.

Greg Saunders

Google
Local feeling bar with very high ceilings and friendly service. Good tap selection and good cocktails.

Christine Doan

Google
Great spot for late night pizza & cocktails. Stumbled upon here while bar hopping & was really glad they closed later than most bars in the area by 1-2 hrs. They played good music (oldies & Motown soul).

Jane Natoli

Google
Always a fun place to grab a drink, I have the best conversations with other patrons while sipping on a beer or a cocktail. Plus all they have nine taps with little planets in them, what more do you want out of the theme?

Travis Wesley

Google
Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. You will not find better pizza anywhere in San Francisco, tried them all. They also serve Blanton’s bourbon. Best pizza ever and the best bourbon ever and they show Turner Classic Movies on the TVs. This is the formula for an amazing bar. Long live Orbit Room.

Google
Great place, small local bar. Very friendly staff go above and beyond. Hopefully Ashley is there bartender when you go. She we'll take care of you, as long as you take care of her.

Brandon Phan

Google
Visited from out of town only to find out the bartenders are also NFC North fans (except the Bears of course). Was a great bar to catch up with friends and shoot the shit with the bartenders. Would come again.

Tommy Boy

Google
Bartender was awesome. He carried on great conversation. Poured what and when I wanted and just a great stop along the day drinking trail.

Yelp
Amazing vibes, service, pizza, & drinks. Attended a work happy hour and had a great experience. Friendly staff and unreasonably good handcrafted pizza. They were also able to make some solid mocktails for those who don't drink. The space isn't super large but had a nice, cozy late night ambiance for our gathering of ~20. Getting there was pretty easy from the peninsula - Caltrain up to SF, then Muni on 4th & King pretty much straight to the bar. Would recommend & return for sure if I'm in the area!

Yelp
This is a solid low-key local bar. The happy hour deal ($2 off before 7pm) is pretty good too. Most recently, I tried the Pull for Entry cocktail, which tasted like a Moscow mule with passionfruit. There's plenty of seating here if you're coming with a group, and there are also board games available too.
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly bartender, delicious drinks. They had the Olympics opening ceremony on the tv. Small crowd but everyone in the bar was friendly. I would def go back for those tasty, tasty cocktails.
google avatar

Yelp
Unreasonably good pizza for a place that is more bar than restaurant. Good beer selection. Great -- and late -- happy hour. Friendly bartenders. What's not to like?

Olivia D.

Yelp
Best drinks and food and wonderful customer service. We came in on a Sunday and had drinks and the mushrooms pizza. Clay made the best pizza I had in the city!!!

Yelp
Cool place with a "revolving" theme going on (har har har). Happened to stop by on a Thursday night, which also happens to be their trivia nights. Per their website, they have happy hour every day from 4-7PM where you can get $2 off of select drinks and their cheesy bread. Even without the happy hour, the prices are still quite reasonable for SF. $12-13 for a house cocktail and $13 for an eight-inch pizza. The Impeachment house cocktail (a peach-infused bourbon old-fashioned) was amazing! I still reminisce about it to this day. Definitely one of my favorite cocktail drinks. The mushroom pizza came out hot and fresh, but I felt like it needed some sweetness to balance out the tanginess of the arugula. Overall, great place to meet with friends whether it be for happy hour or not and enjoy some drinks and pizza.

Yelp
This is the oldest and newest hidden gem in the center of San Francisco. I am in absolute shock, by the amazing artisan pizzas. You can get an individual or a large - which is fantastic. The crust is a very light corn meal and absolutely beautiful - reminds me a lot of the late Pauline's Pizzeria. To top it off the drinks and the wine and beer selection are fantastic - especially during happy hour if you're watching your wallet. Clay, the bartender, couldn't be kinder, sweeter, and more patient and helpful. I can't wait to come back for trivia night and book club night. This place hands down rocks; so glad to be back again.

Maria G.

Yelp
At first I didn't have the most amazing experience but after giving it a second try I had a great experience. Got to meet the locals & now it's my favorite local bar. Service was great & the food is good, not a large selection but what they offer is delicious! It isn't your party bar, it's your relax have a drink and talk to strangers who soon turn into friends :) also Thursdays they have trivia night which is so lively and fun! give orbit a try, you won't be disappointed. Oh last thing, ITS DOG FRIENDLY! :)

Yelp
As Christina Aguilera says "you are beautiful no matter what they say".. and that's what orbit room makes me feel like.

Yelp
My friend was harassed by the female bartender working at the bar. She was unnecessarily and uncomfortably commenting on my friend's body. It was not consensual in any way and made her really, really uncomfortable. The bartender left the bar area and came to where my friend was sitting and made several comments in front of her other friends. It was awful and we will not be going back here because of it. I can not emphasize enough how horrible this was, and how angry and helpless it made everyone feel. This was on trivia night and hope some action is taken. There are many trainings on sexual harassment that are free and available as resources.

Yelp
Came for the beers. Will come back for that pizza!!! The staff was super accommodating and friendly.

Emily M.

Yelp
The best neighborhood-y bar in SF! Food and drinks are solid and vibes are immaculate. Love the staff and the crowd

John R.

Yelp
Love this place. I'm so glad the pizza is flowing now. Also Ashley is pouring the drinks right, as Courtney is busting out the pizzas. We fought over the last slice of sausage pizza. Soooooo good!

Yelp
What?!? It is a great place. Have been a few other times on a weekend day, and it was just sort of "meh." Went back for trivia night and...wow. The bartenders are spectacular and can work a hectic environment full of trivia-loving drink guzzling fools with finesse. The oven was broken the night I was there so I am unable to comment on the food. The drinks were great, the female bartender whose name I very fortunately forgot not only worked a room with over 60 people, but also commanded attention when necessary (pizza delivery person arrived with some food) and compassion alert but VERY firmly escorted a rather unstable visitor out the door before most people were even aware he was in the room. AND she remember my drink order each time I went to the bar. Tough as nails when necessary but clearly with a heart of gold. No pretense here. Just strong and balanced cocktails and great attitudes. It was a lively night: don't show up on a Thursday if you are hoping for some quiet drinks. For other nights: there are lots of board games for small groups. Nice place to hang out with pals.

Nan T.

Yelp
Love them! Held a special event here and they were so helpful and wonderful! The event was a big success!

Yelp
Great ambiance, super kind & attentive staff, & beautiful art deco location. Great for a group reunion!

Yelp
I can not put into words how amazing this place is! I moved to the city a little over a month ago and felt like a fish out of water. This all changed the moment I walked in the door! The staff is friendly and inviting and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and included. This is 100 percent my go to when I need a beer, good company and pizza! If you feel odd about going out alone, go here! They will make you feel like family. =)

Yelp
Met up a friend here on Thursday, March 23rd around 6:15pm. He got here first, so sat at the communal table to the right of the bar. There was plenty of room for the two of us as it wasn't very busy at the time. Another friend joined us later. Happy Hour: Monday - Friday, 4pm - 7pm $5 Draughts: IPA, Pale Ale, Pilsner $6 Well $7 Cocktails: Name Your Mule, House Old Fashioned, Spicy Margarita Luckily, we made it in time for HH. I started with a vodka mule, which I thought was pretty weak. For the second round, I decided to get the old fashioned. Much better as it was stronger than my first drink. I also helped a friend finish his spicy marg which I thought was okay. We had dinner reservations at 7:15pm, so we really just stayed for HH and then bounced. Chill, mellow bar. Good for a quick stop before heading out to dinner.

Yelp
I've got to say, I was not a fan of the pizza! It looks so good in pictures, and even in person, but I found our margherita to be quite bland. Even drenching it in parm didn't do much. The drinks were strong. We tried the Impeachment and the Phantom, both bourbon-based but wish we would have just gone with classic old fashioneds as we weren't a fan of the concoctions...but at least they were boozy. Really nice bartender and pizza maker. And big bonus for allowing dogs inside! The cutest pupper was hanging out when I was there. I'd probably give Orbit another shot if I found myself in that hood again.

Alec B.

Yelp
Great place for cocktails. And amazing beers. And a surreally beautiful vibe. A local classic. The fact that this place shows up as less than 5 stars here is yet more evidence of just how unreliable yelp has become.
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
It's a fairly stylish high-ceilinged deco space. Big picture windows for watching the world go by outside. There are board games. There are a few sports TVs. The crowd skews closer to 40 than 20. The music is pretty good. They sell an unnatural amount of Miller Hi Life. The bartenders are a bit obnoxious.

Erin G.

Yelp
Awesome place for Trivia (8pm on Thursdays) and great cocktails. A true hidden gem and the bartenders are the most fun in the city. Great fun community vibe and committed to the space theme in a good way! Pizza is also great and the have the option of a gluten free crust!
google avatar

Maxime P.

Yelp
Great spot for an awesome cocktail in the city. So glad this place has survived the COVID madness, and it's always fun to sit at the bar and meet fellow San Franciscans.

Yelp
I'm so glad i found this place! I was on my way to another bar and Orbit was right there when i realized the bar i was going to was closed permanently. So we just decided to go into Orbit Room and it was amazing! I tried a cocktails (all around $13~14) and they were all good! It tasted really good and got me drunk enough to have a lot of fun xD The bartenders were super sweet and attentive so i didnt have to wait trying to get their attention. Bathroom wasnt the cleanest and didnt have a mirror inside but it's nothing crucial. I really loved the lighting and the interior design! It was really romantic (although it was super loud with sports on TV and stuff :p) I had an amazing time and i would totally go back! there was also a birthday girl going around giving out cupcakes that made us super happy puhahaha
google avatar

Yelp
By far one of my most favorite bars, ever! The bartenders are super cool and the pizza is next level. Come for happy hour and grub on some cheeesyyy bread. The vibe and decor is of the Art Deco variety with a fancy feel, but isn't going to burn a hole in your pocket and isn't boujee. Crowd is always good company. Ashley, the bartender who runs Bingo Night is also the coolest. She's my spirit animal. They got trivia nights too. Prizes and all that jazz. If you like spicy cocktails, they also make their own bitters and have one called hellfire bitters. Try it; live a little... They got all kinds of delightful (nonspicy) cocktails too. All good, swear... El Charro Blanco is one of my favorites. Oh yeah, they got a few board games too if you on an awkward date or something.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
Favorite spot in the neighborhood. Tasty drinks. Monday night bingo. Tuesday night trivia. Jakes future hair-modeling career. Plus all my favorite neighbors. I scoffed about the half bottles of wine when they switched - but they've won me over with that as well. What can I say ‍
google avatar

Valiant R.

Yelp
Go here!!! Monday Bingo, Dope. Ashley crushes. Tuesday Trivia, Dope. Comedian, Josh is one of the best. Oldest cocktail bar in the City. Pizza is amazing. Touch Courtney's beard!!!!

Martina F.

Yelp
This place is great. Courtney has been an incredible host and really cares about your experience. Ask for him. He is awesome.
google avatar

Craig B.

Yelp
Certainly a neighborhood staple and a welcoming watering hole within the heart of Hayes Valley, SF. The staff and regulars really make it a charm. Don't miss bingo Monday nights ~8pm, Ashley will keep you on your toes with "grandma's bingo", try and keep up! If you like a good thin crust pizza look no further. Along with other classic pizza styles, Jake's weekly pizza special is always a solid choice. Orbit room is a chill neighborly spot with a seasonal cocktails, a great beer selection, and quality folks to get your chat on with. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Location: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars Hospitality 5 stars Cleanliness: 5 Stars! Bartenders: 5 stars Pizza maker: 5 stars Drop-in Bar: 5 stars Place for Events: 5 stars!!! (see below) 5 Stars from every single one of my friends/event attendees Will I host an event here again? HECK YES! And made sure to pass it along to friends/business associates! This is by far one of the best places in SF to have an event! Why? Not only is the location a thumbs up (parking included), their crew, food and open space is the best! I was out venue shopping in June 2019 and fell in love with this place within minutes. The lead bartender Ashley was beyond welcoming/friendly/very easy to talk with/brainstorm & makes incredible mixed drinks! She went out of her way to make artistic sandwich boards for the event & was also on-hand during the event! The owner (nice lad & bad ass event planner) and Ashley had plenty of bartenders on-duty for the event + the awesome pizza maker + a very friendly artist who greeted people @ the door. Way beyond hospitable! Extremely efficient! Monday nights are Bingo and it is a hoot! Drop in and bartender Ashley will mix the best spirit for you!

Yelp
Its back! And their cocktail game is strong as ever. The prices seem a bit steeper however - but as i said before - makes sense in the context of current SF economic climate. On my last trip i tried the KC Manhattan and it was a winner. If you can appreciate a perfect Manhattan you wont be disappointed with ORs KCM.
google avatar

Seung H.

Yelp
Good atmosphere and good pricy cocktail drinks but bad service. What you can expect is that a bartender will ignore you and serve people who come after you but he will not be appologetic about it. It's my neighborhood bar, so I come here for happy hours. Its funny that one bad bartender can ruin my evening, and I don't want to come back here anymore. Food is okay but pricy.

Yelp
I sucked my thumb forever as a kid. My parents tried everything. Nothing worked. They'd put nasty tasting stuff on my right thumb. I just switched to the left. They'd put it on both thumbs. I sucked it right off. They'd put a little leather thumb case on my thumbs. I just pulled them off. They had my dentist tell me scary nightmarish stories about what would happen to me if I continued with this bad habit. I just sucked that thumb even harder. I was a lost cause. I loved, loved, loved, loved, my thumb. I thought the flavor was amazing. But moreover it was comforting. I never had to wander into the kitchen for late night snacks, I never had to worry about where my teddy bear was at night. I had it all with my thumb. We were inseparable. Orbit Room has that similar feeling of security as my thumb. On a weekday night it's warm and reassuring, and just a lovely place to sit and talk with friends. And their drinks...are almost as tasty and reliable as my thumb a good 15 years ago. We went last night around 10ish, and it was pretty empty. We sat right at the bar. Probably the best place to sit in the place. I took one look at the menu and started wriggling on my bar stool in anticipation. There was an abundance of fruity concoctions, and unique "healthy" ingredients listed in nearly all of the drinks. I am a huge advocate of mixing fresh fruit and alcohol. The idea of putting back vitamins and nutrients in your body as you flush them out of your body makes perfect sense to me. Our bartender Ronn was absolutely charming and adorable. He had a plethora of wonderful stories about his drinks, the way he came up with their names, and he put forth genuine pride and effort into making each one. I ordered the Continental Gimlet, with cucumber, hibiscus, grapefruit, vodka...and well I need to go back to remember the rest of the ingredients. I sipped on it for a good hour, not because it made me do the alcohol pucker face, but because it went down smoothly, it was refreshing, and it was exceptionally tasty. Next time I go to the Orbit Room, I plan on being more adventurous and trying some of their other drinks like the espresso martini. mmmmmmmm.. I reserve the fifth star, because as amazing as it is to watch your drink being made by the most strangely mesmerizing bartender ever, I can imagine that it could be very painful on a busy night. They're all quite elaborate. But during the week, on a slowish night, I can't recommend this place enough. Ronn will own you. His unique charm will inspire you to want to create your own fruit infused vodkas and crush cucumbers into all of your drinks.

Yelp
"Ruh-roh, Reorge!" says Astro... I keep thinking that George Jetson, after a long day at Spacely Space Sprockets, probably takes his bubble-top flying saucer to make a pit stop here at the Orbit Room before going home to walk Astro on the automatic walkway. But the only indications of extraterrestrial life are some of the more eccentric customers that come in from the Little Hollywood Launderette next door. I've stepped into the Orbit Room on many a blind date in my day since escape was just a MUNI ride away. That's probably the reason I get a case of the shivers when I come here even though the bartender is always congenial. It's a dark deco place with a few schoolroom globes to remind you we are always in orbit, I guess. What's with those odd cone-shaped tables? They always strike me as flawed in design since knee-banging is inevitable with every flirtatious spin on the barstool. Cocktails are always quite a statement here, especially the fruity concoctions that have tiki-bar potential. More times than not, I come in these days for a cup of joe to chat with pals. I usually come earlier than the true bar crowd that fills the space in short order. DRINKS - 4 stars...creative libations favor the fruity side of life...and the java ain't bad either AMBIANCE - 4 stars...daughter Judy...his boy Elroy...Jane his wife SERVICE - 4 stars...great bartenders every time TOTAL - 4 stars...centrally located pit-stop suitable for most occasions

Yelp
Hands down, one of my favorite bars in San Francisco. Drinks: Carefully crafted seasonal menus, based on the freshest ingredients from local markets. House made syrups, fresh squeezed juice, and beautiful garnish. You'll find a mixture of classic cocktails (think Savoy) and modern interpretations designed by one of Orbit Room's very own. Not sure about the menu? Ask for a recommendation or an off the menu item. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Cocktails aren't your thing? If your accompanying a friend and not in the mood for adventure, the bar also serves beer. There's a rotating selection on tap as well as some imports and a few wines up for grabs by the glass. Food: Much like the cocktails, freshness is king. Made to accompany your drinks or carry out for a night in, Orbit serves delicate pizza prepared with love. Prosciutto, arugula, and fungi, are some of the staple ingredients for a few of the pies here. Catch the chef feeling fancy and you might find some lamb or squash additions. Staff: Something (or shall I say, someone) for everyone. Whether you're looking to drop by for the game on a Sunday afternoon, drop in after work for some conversation by candlelight, or perhaps just learn a little about spirits and service, there's enough personality at Orbit to find the bartender that fits your style. If it's busy, be patient (trust me, they see you) and be prepared to wait a bit for a drink. I promise, it's worth it! Patrons/Atmosphere: Orbit Room has been an SF favorite since my introductory visit about 5 years ago. There's always a good mix, and the crowd is friendly and respectful. In the evening, warm lighting awaits you. The atmosphere is cozy, but open. There is a generous amount of space, but can get a bit tight on a Friday night (though, the crowd is always willing to make some room). It's a great spot to catch up with a small group of friends, or grab a drink with a date. It's also welcoming enough to roll solo. It's home a way from home for the regulars... It's rumored the bar has a few :) Not convinced yet? Stop by for a drink. The (current) Fall menu boasts warm flavors... cardamom, celery, blackberries, basil... and the chilly SF nights lend well to sipping on Hot Toddies with fresh ginger, nutmeg and all spice

Yelp
I love the Orbit Room! This has become our new favorite bar for my coworkers and me. It's sort of hidden away and not that noticeable unless you are looking for it (despite it being directly on Market street). The drinks are awesome (although pretty complicated so it takes a long time for your drink to be made). Also it's cash only so make sure you stop by the ATM (although there is one in the back). Highly recommend the Basil Rathbone or the Briar Rose as my go-to drinks at the Orbit Room. The menu changes seasonally so sometimes the drinks aren't the same (sadface) but gives you a good chance to try something new every time you come. They also have thin crust pizza that you can order from the other counter if you want some food, but the pizza isn't that great and sometimes the pizza gets burnt so the whole place gets a bit smokey. Fridays/Saturdays are the busiest nights so it may be hard to find a seat so make sure you come early. Great for groups but it does get crowded. It's also nearby the Taco Bell/KFC if you want some really crappy fast food afterwards (but it closes at 11PM!) Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is my local watering hole. I can always count on the OR for a quick drink and good conversation. I just love that I can go to a bar here in SF and order a cheap $3 Miller high life. This place is run by all bartenders and they told me that the high life's are cheap because that's what they drink.... ok im sold. Pizza is on the pricey side but I think it's worth it. Its also nice to come here and watch a game on the tv. They usually generate a nice crowd and if you come here often you'll start to see some friendly familiar faces.
google avatar

Mitra W.

Yelp
My husband brought me here for my birthday and I was sort of dreading it because I thought it would be crowded and loud with snobby "mixologists" because of what some yelpers had to say. We got there after 9PM on a Saturday and it was very "chill." Not too crowded and not too loud. Our bar tender or "mixologist" Paul was so great! He was nice and very intuitive about the drinks he made me. I would tell him a few points about what I like or what I wanted to try and he would mix up some magic. I loved it there and it's a shame that some people don't have the same sort of experience.
google avatar

Ric S.

Yelp
This place takes bartending very seriously and the center round bar gives you a great spot to watch. Top ingredients and house-prepared flavors. Nice extra touches and flare. If you want something na, the house-made ginger ale is superb with freshly juiced ginger.

Yelp
After running into an old friend on the street last week, we made plans to meet up for a drink. Knowing his predilection for all things epicurean and having been curious for quite a while about the woman called 'The Alice Waters of booze' by the SF Weekly I suggested we visit the Orbit Room to see what all the hype was about. After we found this dimly lit spot on the corner of Market at Laguna I spied from the window Alberta Straub behind the bar (previously I had been afraid that since it was Wednesday night we might miss her.) I swung open the door, and ushered my friend inside where we bellied up to the bar and parked ourselves directly in front of the much-heralded mixologist. We looked long and hard at the menu in order to decide on what to order during which time the cocktail innovator said in a good-humoredly tone "Guys, these menus aren't easy to write! How many ways can you say sugar?" At that point I put in my request for a bloody mary and sat back watching the bartendress at work. Stopping occasionally to sip her own concoctions (by which she is very impressed) and speak in Spanish to a co-worker on the other side of the room she still managed to churn out drinks at a clip and tell the patrons about the many extra ingredients she creates on her own time and with her own money. Straub's libations are nothing if not lush. I had the chance to sample three of her creations and each was in a universe all its own. My bloody mary had a deliciously spicy salt-rimmed glass and looked like a cornucopia when it arrived adorned by celery, green beans, cucumber slices, a pepperoncini and olives. My friend intentionally ordered a drink he thought would taste awful and discovered that it was actually quite pleasant. Later we were joined by a third person who took Straub up on one of her "special" creations which turned out to be a pint glass with muddled peaches and mint and a host of other ingredients that I cannot here recall but the result was luxuriant - he slurped it right down to the last drop. I greatly enjoyed the quirkiness of the whole experience and very much look forward to returning for more of Straub's lush inventions. Notes: On my visit the bar was not crowded and the wait for drinks was short. This is not likely to be the case on a Saturday night. My advice? If you want to experience these cocktails in all their glory, come on a weeknight. Orbit Room is a cash only enterprise, so come prepared.
google avatar

Josefina A.

Yelp
Perfect ending to a grueling week. This is a pretty damn good moscow mule. And Bartender caters to your spirit preference. And the bar is gorgeous.
google avatar

Kristin Marie S.

Yelp
Martini: Straight up and muddled please. That is their mantra there. Ok not every drink comes in a martini glass, actually most of it doesn't but almost everything comes muddled. If you know what muddling is then you know it takes time. I read the reviews, people complain because it takes too long to get a drink. I say, who cares, do you want a good drink, a drink prepared with love, or do you want some quick, pre-made mix that is half as good. I really loved the Orbit Room. These are quite possibly the hardest working bartenders in the city so back off people!! For all those people who can't seem to chill, take a deep breath of fresh air and wait for their drink I say go to McD's, order one of their fabulously quick iced coffees and pour in some Jamieson you bought from the corner store. Rant aside, seriously, this place is for the patient and people who have time. Order your drink, sit down at the table with your friends, start chatting and before you know it one of the best drinks ever will be ready for your consumption. The Manhattan was perfectly mixed and will put hair on your chest. The Dark and Foggy, whew, I was tipsy after one sip. The garnishes alone are pretty cool. Finally, for the prices, strength of the drink and the blood, sweat and tears that go into each cocktail, its worth it. $8 for a delicious Coquette. What is that you ask? Go in and find out.

Yelp
I really like this spot...The décor is very unique with its retro and art deco flair. The people who gather here really range and are a good cross section of the different kinds of people in the city (yuppies, hipsters, hippies). It's very relaxed, but still fun and interesting...during the week, it's a bit more tame than on a Friday or Saturday night. They now have homemade pizzas, which are okay, we tried the Petra (with sausage) and Bettina (with anchovies). The dough had some great flavor, but the pizza toppings were missing a bit...I think more cheese would have done the trick. At $16.00 each (about the size of a personal pizza), these were a bit pricey to me, especially since they don't specialize in pizzas. I would definitely come back here for their wonderful drinks (BTW - no happy hour specials and CASH ONLY), but I think you can skip the pizza.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
$15 for a 12"-inch wild mushroom pizza that was tasty but had very little in the way of mushrooms either wild or domesticated, and $8 for a yummy mint hill punch, which was basically a more savory, vegetal version of a mojito with rosemary and celery juice. Cute bartender. :D Vibe is way too gentrified and hipster-y for me to want to come here often but if you're in the area it's a nice spot to grab some interesting premium drinks with a definite fresh vegetable theme and some pizza to snack on on a slower weeknight. However, I would avoid it like the plague during the weekend.

Yelp
I have always liked this bar. The decor is beautiful, vintage, and warm. The drinks are creative and delicious. The staff is nice and friendly. And the pizza is just what I always need. Also, a nice date place. Sometimes gets really loud, especially on trivia nights. So you just have to get into it, or shout.

Yelp
The Orbit Room is a TASTEBUD TREAT! Ronn, the exquisite mixologist at the Orbit Room, REALLY knows how to make a drink! A total character, Ronn is a GENIUS! The layers of flavors he creates stirs my soul. I strongly reccommend The Satisfaction. Fresh Grapefruit, Cucumber, Lime, Vodka, Cointreau and Hibiscus... makes for a tasty treat! All of the drinks are made beautifully, layered with the fresh ingredients and extra special love by Ronn. Having said that.... don't go into the Orbit Room expecting to "grab a quick drink" -- not going to happen. Ronn definitely takes his time in making the drinks... but they are worth it! Being from out of town.. .the fresh ingredients, stiff alcohol and a cool setting makes the Orbit Room a definite contender for my best of SF list.

Yelp
Alberta the bartendress is an artist to be sure with a temperament to match. There are drinks here that you can't find anywhere else, and that's because Alberta invented them. The young Ginger syrup and the Hibiscus flower infusions she makes are just as intoxicating as the liquor they are muddled with. Service can be excruciating, and complaining won't help. Despite the Orbit Room's flaws, it is still one of my favorite places to go for an afternoon drink indoors.

Yelp
This place is making the best out of the current state of being. Serving up really delicious pizzas for pick up and delivery. I strongly recommend the mushroom, which also has some nice greens on top- yummy! Shout out to Ashley, for helping us yesterday. The to go drinks are especially top notch. You can either bring your own container or pay $1 more for a jar. They'll give you all the parts deconstructed and helpful tips - liquids mixed, garnish (give this mint a few shakes before adding it in) and ice (if requested) is separate. Eat and drink from Orbit, you'll be glad you did!
