15 Stellar Spots for Brunch in the South Bay Area

"Orchard City Kitchen earned a spot on the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand list based on the strength of chef Jeffrey Stout’s cooking, but dinner isn’t the only time to sample the food. The brunch is popular in its own right, with Stout’s take on dishes such as “The Cure,” which is a version of budae jigae, or the ‘tot “poutine” with chicken fried steak and shimeji mushroom gravy. Add on a P.O.G. (passionfruit, orange, and guava) mimosa by the glass or carafe." - Dianne de Guzman, Cathy Park

25 Essential South Bay Area Restaurants

"Tapas-style restaurant Orchard City Kitchen serves an array of creative, flavorful bites. The shareable dishes on the menu run the gamut and frequently change due to seasonal ingredients. Most visitors opt to dine in during brunch, when OCK offers typical items like benedicts, toast, and eggs – but incorporates a twist with ingredients like kimchi. “The Cure” is a modern take on the Korean budae jjigae or “army stew,” a spicy stew with Spam, ramen, tofu, and cheese,  while another star on the menu is the tiramisu pancake,  a fluffy, coffee-forward rendition of a hot cake. The restaurant also serves charcuterie for both brunch and dinner." - Paolo Bicchieri, Cathy Park

Orchard City Kitchen

"Jeffrey Stout has clearly settled in to his position at the helm of this international gem, packed with a crowd of loyal fans, despite its rather modest shopping-center locale. Polished yet casual with a large front bar and patio, a meal here is best enjoyed with a group—so come prepared to max out the menu.Dishes may spin in various directions, but this team won't steer your wrong. Kick off with a cocktail; then tuck into fresh hamachi enriched with avocado-dill purée, persimmon, and deliciously tart sunomono. Garnished with peanuts and served with chili oil, those delicate shrimp-and-pork dumplings are an evergreen hit. For dessert, olive oil cake with lime-brittle popcorn and roasted corn custard delivers a pleasing contrast in flavor and texture." - Michelin Inspector

Fantastic! We came here for a birthday dinner and loved it. The service was great and so was the food. Highly recommend: pea fritters (amazing flavor), lamb riblets (so tender!), scallops, and garlic noodles! Skip: tempura mushrooms and duck dumplings (not very flavorful/interesting)

Opinion Worth a Thought

Google
Somewhat unique menu with Asian influence. We enjoyed the tasty food and overall experience Staff was courteous, but service was on the slower side. We waited for them to return and take our order a few times. Once our order was taken, food and beverage arrived within a reasonable amount of time There's indoor and outdoor seating, both with plenty of tables. We made a reservation, but that may not have been necessary

Google
1st time🥇 Food: 10/10 Winter citrus salad 🍊 : celebrating citrus season with orange and grapefruit over radicchio. Bursting with fresh herbs and nuts. 6/10 Lamb riblets : these needed to be served at a hotter temp. That aside, I ate more of the pineapple, cucumber, onions than the lamb (and I LOVE lamb but not this). 7/10 Dumplings 🥟 : solid but not a standout (I don’t even remember what they taste like) 9/10 Bacon 🥓 Butter 🧈 Biscuits : the bacon and the BUTTER were the best parts. Candied thick-cut bacon. Whipped honey butter. The biscuits weren’t dry but still 1-2 minutes over. Service: Service was friendly. They came back around to check on us regularly. Atmosphere: Farmhouse style decor matched the farm-to-table menu. Very lively with music and people inside. We sat outside on the patio near a tree and a railing lined with flowers, even the patio was intentional. Table-height propane heaters kept us warm on a chilly day.

We celebrated our kid's 18th birthday here with family, seated out in the patio on a balmy summer evening. it was a wonderful experience. Our server was friendly all evening, recommending dishes, checking in on us, and taking several group photos--including taking the time to take a group picture just outside the restaurant. The menu doesn't look very big, but the variety of special plates stood out -- there are very few run-of-the-mill dishes here. Popular among our party were these main dishes: Kuro Wagyu New York steak, Roasted Bone Marrow, Hokkaido Scallops, and ...oh my gosh, the Berkeley Pork Chop with red curry, honey, and almonds was killer. I would come back just for this plate! The starters/share plates were also unique and worthy: garlic noodles, Burrato Tartine, Hungarian Longos, and their house specialty -- "Triple B" Bacon, Biscuits & honey, and Butter. Maybe the desserts were a bit generic and underwhelming given the robust main menu--but we didn't come for the desserts. We'll definitely be back soon!

Orchard City Kitchen is a culinary standout! Every dish we ordered was a perfect balance of creativity and flavor. The green tostada was vibrant, fresh, and full of unexpected pops—crispy, creamy, and topped with bright herbs and chili for the perfect bite. The mac and cheese skillet? Absolutely addictive. Creamy, cheesy, perfectly baked, and finished with just the right amount of crunch and a hint of heat from the peppers on top. The vibe is lively but relaxed, and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell the team here is passionate about great food and presentation. Perfect spot for a date night or group dinner. Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu!

Finally had the chance to go back to Orchard City Kitchen and it did not disappoint. The food was creative, yummy, and presented artfully. The seasonal menu was elevated but not pretentious. No complaints about the drinks or food whatsoever! The dumplings and the riblets were our favorites. Cheyenne our waitress was awesome. She was very attentive and friendly even for a busy Mother's Day evening. It was my dining companion's first visit to OCK. Thank you for making it a magical and memorable evening!

Today, I had the delightful experience of dining at OCK for the first time, and it was nothing short of fantastic! Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared and beautifully presented, with flavors and aromas that were simply irresistible. It felt like a delicious indulgence! In fact, it was the first time we didn’t even ask for boxes for our leftovers because we enjoyed everything so much. While the portions seemed small at first, they turned out to be perfect for sharing with family and friends. We walked in with empty stomachs and left feeling wonderfully satisfied—truly an experience to remember! I can’t wait to return!

Google
I honestly can't get the hype. There's just so many little things missing, between the food, the service, and the core idea of the restaurant. The food is brought out to you as it's completed to encourage sharing, remember that now. After this experience, I partially suspect it's largely due to poor kitchen coordination. The oyster mushrooms were great, especially with the dipping sauce, but they didn't blot them with a paper towel so the ones at the bottom were soggy. The brunch burrito is large and comes with a sweet chili jam. The principal issue is that the tatter tots were essentially mashed into the burrito so you don't get the contrast of textures from the regular ingredients vs. the crispy taters. The chili was fine. We were most excited for the Cure a.k.a the budae jigae. And it was what disappointed us the most. First off, the presentation was flat and not appetizing. We had requested bowls so that we could share upon ordering. When the food was brought to us, we once again asked the server assistant for bowls and he just confirmed that yeah, we'll need bowls and didn't come back. We had to wait even longer for our server to come back and finally get us bowls. But this wait wasn't even worth it, the flavor was pedestrian. The theme of the restaurant is to share and no one even brought us a bowl to share. Amateur execution. Many of these things wouldn't be an issue for me at other places. I mean the food here is fine. But for what they charge, it's just sloppy.

Yelp
Love this spot as well as the accompanying plaza. I came here for brunch and had these four items: The burrito (5/5) - I loved the smoked bacon and chili jam they use for the breakfast burrito. It gives the perfect flavor of sweetness and smokiness to the burrito with crispy tater tots and sausage. Highly recommend this one. KFC (3/5) - The chicken could have been crispier and the pickled cucumbers could have been less salty. I would skip this one. Loco moco (3.5/5) - Good but the gravy was way too salty. Biscuits, bacon and butter (5/5) - Highly recommend this one. The biscuits were so fluffy and soft and paired perfectly with the whipped butter. I also liked the smokiness of the bacon.

Yelp
** Huge shout out to our server Mario** Usually I take pictures of the food before to post but as soon as the food came out, the dish was devoured. Orchard city kitchen is like a asian / american fusion but you can tell right off the bat its not just some sloppy clash of flavors. They think hard abt every dish they put on the menu and it shows. Our server Mario helped us with our ordering as we had no idea what to get and everything he told us to get was spot on. Highlight of the night was the bacon biscuit butter dish and mind you, we were eating this for dinner. The place itself was clean comforting and lively on a friday night and i will def be keeping Orchard city kitchen on my list of places i need to go back to.

Yelp
OMG I've been living under the rocks! How did this place escape my yummy-food-seeking radar? To sum it up: my experience here tonight was spectacular! OCK is conveniently located right next to the Pruneyard Cinemas in the Pruneyard shopping center. It has a spacious, nicely heated and beautifully lighted outdoor seating areas. The two walls facing public area are lined with big windows so that you can enjoy outdoor scene and foot traffic while sipping on your cocktail and enjoying your yummy food. We were warmly greeted and quickly seated. The place was crowded for a Thursday night. Luckily we already made our reservation online and highly recommend you do that too. Our server was friendly and gave us her honest opinions on some of the food and drinks. We ordered KFC, garlic noodle, bone marrow pasta and the Triple B (Bacons, Biscuits, and honey Butter). For drinks, we all opted for the Barry-O, which is made from Jamaican rum, coconut rum, pineapple and mango. Wow, my mind was blown away! The KFC was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I love how balanced and nicely paired the sauce was with the fried chicken. Garlic noodles didn't disappoint. I like that perfect hint of garlic without being overwhelmed by garlic smell like most of the other garlic noodles I've tried somewhere else. I think maybe the triple B and bone marrow pasta were two of my favorites. I love how warm and toasty the biscuits were and the honey butter just melt on top of it. The bacon was glazed with salt, pepper and tiny hint of caramel. The Bone Marrow Pasta was also nothing lack of amazingness! One bit of it and I felt like I was in heaven LOL It was a lovely experience from the beginning to the end. I'll definitely come back to try their other dishes and drinks soon!

Yelp
Same owner as Be.Stéak.Ă in the same plaza. Cocktails were innovative but kind of watered down (as they also were at Be.Stéak.Ă.) but the drink names via Friends tv show theme were clever! Service is prompt, friendly, and engaging. It can get loud during busy times and hard to hear if you're trying to have a conversation, prepare to be yelling while eating lol Bone marrow pasta was very rich, we got the sherry luge addition which was interesting. Unfortunately, grilled artichoke was served burnt (see photo attached to this review). Asian fusion dishes are very overpriced, especially for small tapas portions. Food variety is plentiful so the experience is interesting, innovative and something different among other South Bay options. One bite plates are great to sample a bunch of stuff without getting too full. Fun experience!

Yelp
Quick update to my previous review (that one had more info)! This place is a bib gourmand, which my partner is really into, so we came by for dinner. It was his first time and my third time. Customer Service: Our server was nice and helpful. He gave a lot of great suggestions and details on any questions we had. It was busy, so there was not much attention paid to our table in terms of checking in or water refill. Parking: It's in a big plaza, but parking, especially for dinner, is horrendous. The plaza is packed. Pricing: The price has again increased since last year, but this is true everywhere. I think the higher price makes sense for the area...perhaps the ingredients? Although I can't say for sure because there wasn't much info on how fresh then ingredients are (great ingredients are absolutely worth more money). Food: The items are small plates, so you won't leave feeling full unless you order quite a few dishes. I've eaten at a lot of small plates/tapas places where the food was incredible and makes you want to order more. I didn't get that here. The Hamachi was good, but everything else was quite mid. This is particular true if you are familiar with Asian food as a lot of the items are sort of Asian dishes that have been shrunken in size, but upped in price. It didn't bring up an appetite in me or my partner. I found the Butterscotch to be way too sweet and made me sick. Overall, one of the the lower-rated bib gourmands we've tried. There's a nice atmosphere to the restaurant and area, which can make it worth visiting.

Yelp
Orchard Kitchen is my new favorite restaurant in Campbell. My friend recommended the place a while back and I just had the chance to stop by and get to try a few things on the menu. I was greeted by a really nice young lady who walked us to our table, great ambiance in the restaurant by the way and she went over the menu. We debated in between a few plates to share and we ordered the Triple B, KFC & a fried chicken sandwich. Let me tell you.... Best three plates I've tried in any restaurant in Campbell - WOW! Price is reasonable, the place has a great vibe and it's a shareable menu so be sure to bring some friends with you to give this place a try! 10/10

Yelp
That was really good :) The service was great, fast and efficient. The decor and vibe was also really fun and great for a social meal or celebratory meal with friends of family. The food is great! I don't think you can go wrong here with anything on the menu. One "heads up" note: this is A SMALL DISH dining experience that is meant to SPLIT with your peers. Aka. "Family style", or as they like to say "tapas" style. So order more than one dish if you're with company to split or order double. Up to you! Overall this is a neat little place and worth going back to again if the mood strikes. Nice one Orchard City Kitchen!

Yelp
I came here on a weekday afternoon without any reservation with a friend, and the place was quite busy. We were given a high-top table to sit at. The items on the menu were interesting, and we both settled on sharing the Acme Baguette and then getting our own K.F.C's. The Acme Baguette came with the butter board of the day, which had cranberries on top of the cheese as a garnish. The baguette was not cut, and my friend and I struggled a bit in breaking parts of the bread to eat. The K.F.C. portion size was small in general and small for its price, and there was nothing we found special about either the Acme Bread or K.F.C., but they were both okay. I've been to this restaurant before & had a similar experience with their dishes in portion size and quality and price. If you're interested in trying this restaurant in this quaint area of Campbell, it's worth taking note of the menu beforehand!

Yelp
I like this place except for the price and quantity of food :( From appetizer to salad to main dish, everything was tapas style. I like the taste, but not enough for me to justify for the cost. I think it's not worth a visit if you are there to truly get your tummy full. I ended up having to take my family to Starbird next door haha The cocktails were yummy though. I love the recommendation from my waitress. The customer service was good. I got indoor seating so it was nice and cozy. I think there are blankets and heaters for outdoor seatings as well. The parking can be tough depending on what time in the day. We went on a Friday night, and it took a few more mins to test our luck to find a spot.

Yelp
Popped in after snagging a last minute Friday early dinner reservation. I have only been here for work events so it was nice to come for a normal dinner. Our server was helpful and knew the cocktails very well. As it's "winter" in California I was hoping for a dark beer but none were available (just IPAs, a pale ale and Pilsner). I had the pale ale and also the Ninja Smoke cocktail (it was okay; nothing noteworthy especially for the price). Beers priced at $11 and cocktails pushing $20 is a bit ridiculous. Food was definitely the highlight! The single bite starters were tasty but again the portion and price is disproportionate. The pea fritter was a complete surprise of flavors. The fig and radicchio salad, fry bread and truffle burger were favorites! The KFC was meh, felt like fancy Panda Express chicken. I would come again but for the price, I'd probably try a nice restaurant in Los Gatos or Saratoga first.

Yelp
Delicious tapas. Indoor outdoor seating. Beautiful LED lights in the patio seating with heaters. They provided me with a blanket and made sure that I feel comfortable the whole time which was lovely. Ordered: : one cheese bread tapas which was absolutely delicious and the flavors were just an explosion The duck sausage I guess it's called. A mushroom oyster Fried concoction The mushroom and oyster was tasty. The duck was delicious but gamy. The cheesy bread was absolutely delicious I love the multiple flavors was super into it. There was plenty of indoor seating I would recommend making a reservation for the weekend as it gets super packed. The ambience is chill the food is nice it's a good date place. Recommend.

Yelp
I brought my friend here to celebrate her birthday and I was honestly pretty disappointed. The menu was reallly small and we felt like there weren't many options. Our server seemed so awkward and it made our dining experience a bit uncomfortable. Prices way too high for the small portions and mid food. I was so excited to try this place and bring my friend for her birthday but we both will not be returning.

Yelp
Great service, great quality food. I'm a picky eater, so there's not a TON I eat off the menu here, but everything I've tried has been fabulous. All the servers I've had are very friendly and it's always a good experience. I recommend the POG Mimosa jug and the ACME baguette and butter. Yum!

Yelp
Orchard City Kitchen has been one of my all-time favorite spots since they opened 10 years ago, and this review is long overdue. Whether it's been birthday parties, corporate events, girls' nights, date nights, or just popping in for drinks at the bar, OCK has never disappointed. The food is always top-notch, with a rotating menu that keeps things fresh and exciting. That said, they know how to keep the classics too--my must-haves are the BBB and the KFC. I can't visit without ordering them! Their drink menu is equally impressive, always packed with creative, unique options that blow me away. One of my favorite things about OCK is their monthly themes. They take creativity to the next level, making every visit a little different. The vibe is always on point, from the service to the music pumping out the jams. In the summer, the patio is an absolute mood, but honestly, every seat in the house is a great one. Now that I've written this, I realize I need to get back and try their anniversary menu ASAP. Cheers to 10 incredible years, Orchard City Kitchen--here's to many more!

Yelp
Solid feat with a seasonal rotating menu - a Michelin Bib Gourmand (https://guide.michelin.com/us/en/california/campbell/restaurant/orchard-city-kitchen)! The deets: + / - Indoor and outdoor seating is available + Reservations are available through Open Table (https://www.opentable.com/restref/client/?rid=252352&restref=252352&datetime=2025-01-01T23%3A00&covers=4&rtype=ism&searchdatetime=2025-01-01T23%3A00&partysize=4&lang=en&corrid=0b5d1c18-3a7c-4496-bfe0-1f6a9cfcf82a) + Full bar - I recommend the Milk Punch! A house fave! + Brunch available on weekends, check out their brunch menu: https://www.orchardcitykitchen.com/menus/#brunch + Dietary restrictions are labeled on their menu, including vegan items.

Yelp
Need a go-to casual spot for brunch or tapas? OCK is the way to go. With their ever changing seasonal menu and cocktail offerings, there is surely something for everyone here. Reservations for large parties is preferred and being seated indoors opposed to outdoors (to avoid bugs and for those temperature sensitive). Noise level is tolerable, not too loud or quiet. Service has always been pleasant here from the hosts to wait staff. Everything has come out well-plated making for a treat for the eyes and for the stomach. There are a good must haves when coming here like the Triple B (bacon, butter and biscuits) and their OG Milk Punch. Recently, I was able to enjoy their Triple B, Dungeness Crab Tostada, Wood Fired Artichoke, Bone Marrow Pasta, Chilled Oysters, P.O.G Mimosa and their No Reservations: London cocktail. Everything was delicious, tasted fresh and proper proportions. Drinks are also strong, but makes for a good time!

Yelp
This is a wonderful place in the neighborhood where you can get good fusion dishes and great drinks at an affordable price. I love coming here with my significant other . we'll just have small bites, and sit around with drinks and chat for lunch. I love the options that they have and they have a great bar selection as well for my significant other to divulge in his whiskey addiction. The staff is also attentive and friendly and they're always willing to help you when you need it. Bartenders are also great. They're really great at their job and have a really good rapport with customers. Definitely recommend this place if you're around and looking to kill time and fill your bellies.

Yelp
Found this place by word of mouth, and it did not disappoint! Sitting inside or outside has a romantic feel and ambiance that is the perfect place for a date night or special meal!! Our waiter was so amazing with recommending dishes to try on our first time here. Here is my review of the food!! The Vietnam cocktail has smooth notes of lychee and lemon that finished with a pandan flavor. For the Kakiage, the enoki mushrooms were so crispy, that went perfectly with the kimchi-mayo. It would go perfectly with some cold beer. The garlic noodles we ordered came with a raw egg, which I think paired well. However it was a little too salty for my taste, with not enough garlic flavor. It tasted more like soy sauce noodles. The hokkaido scallops were in this amazing umami sauce that went perfectly with the seared scallops!! The star of the show was the Chef's Caviar Skillet Special, which was trout and caviar on top of skillet corn bread. It was soo savory and elegant!! Something I did not expect with cornbread. The peach cobbler is a good filler if you are still feeling a little hungry- it was the perfect mix of salty and sweet, and I loved the cream on top!

Yelp
I've been here a few times for brunch and dinner and it's quite solid. Tapas-style Asian fusion restaurant that has held the Michelin Bib Gourmand award for the past few years. I always look forward to seeing what they'll offer on their menu next. Definitely very heavy on the stomach and lightens the wallet, so I try to only come once or twice a year. Definitely more satisfying if you come with a group that likes to share family-style, or a date night where you guys eat off each other's plates (is it even a relationship if you don't do that?). Last time I came here with a party of four and we ordered the Island Time, B-B-B, KFC, army stew/budae jjigae, hard-grilled spam, loco moco, four strips of bacon, and taco salad. We were very very full. Everything was good, but my fav was the budae jjigae. I wasn't expecting it to be so authentic! We could've passed on the hard-grilled spam, it was salty (ofc it's spam) and imo not anything super revolutionary when it comes to the dishes they offer at OCK. My friend was unable to eat chicken/seafood/beef, and she really liked the candied bacon they offered here so she ordered four more. If you're feeling unsure, definitely ask your waiter for recommendations. They're very friendly here and more than willing to help you out if you're stuck between options.

Yelp
This place is always packed so I wanted to try it out for myself. Upon entering there's a lot of tables inside as well as a nicely lit outdoor patio. The ambiance is very nice regardless of where you sit. Because the food is served tapas style we ordered a couple of things off of the menu. I ordered the garlic noodles, seared duck breast, kimchi cauliflower, and truffle burger. The kimchi cauliflower was very tasty with a nice flavor that wasn't overwhelming. The garlic noodles were savory and chewy. The truffle burger was cooked perfectly. All of the components of the burger were very well balanced with a nice garlic aioli sauce. The duck breast was juicy and cooked perfectly, I think the coriander was a nice touch. They also had a good drinks menu, the city cocktails looked so fun I wish I was able to try them all. The ambiance, food, and service was all so delightful I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Wow, what an amazing brunch place in the heart of Pruneyard Plaza! Spacious indoor and outdoor seating with pet friendly service. Arrived at 10 AM Saturday for brunch reservation. Waitress welcomed us with an introduction of their Brunch Menu and Weekend All Day menu. For the drinks, we went ahead with Kimchi Mary and Espresso Martini. Enjoyed the mushroom and umami flavors in Kimchi Mary! For breads, we knew in advance the popularity of BBB. However, we decided to try it on a future visit as it is all season favorite that made OCK popular. Instead, we decided on Khachapuri which is Georgian style bread with spinach, feta cheese, egg drop. Absolutely loved this dish hands down! Strongly recommend to try if it is still available We also tasted Trout Roe Dip and K.F.C. Enjoyed both but didn't find them particularly exceptional. For the dessert, Butterscotch Pudding was a perfect finish. Service was top quality! Definitely plan to return soon and explore the interesting menu.

Yelp
A fantastic spot for finger foods and a wide selection of beverages. We were recommended the biscuits, butter, and bacon, and they did not disappoint--absolutely delicious. The pancake was incredibly delicate, and the espresso martini was perfectly crafted. The ambiance is quaint yet spacious, with an eclectic style, spotless bathrooms, and top-notch service. Synnova provided fabulous service, offering excellent recommendations that made our experience even better. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We came through Saturday afternoon for his birthday, they have plenty of seating outdoor and indoor! Next time we're bringing our Shiba Inu! It's got a great vibe, open kitchen and service was really fast and felt genuine. Saynnova was our server and she made my husbands birthday more memorable! You get a cute birthday card at the table. Our menu was 'all day' so we got a bunch to share. We got the wedge, smash potatoes, moat burger, and the dungeoness crab tostados. I know the menu changes and I'm kind of sad cause we enjoyed everything!!!! The wedge was so good! Not a salad gal but we really enjoyed it. The smash potatoes were OK, compared to the wedge, wedge was better somehow haha. The moat burger medium done and the sauce was just ++. Fantastic flavour and just the right amount of toppings on it! The dungeoness crab tostados had a small kick but really enjoyed it. It is cooked, just cold so for the pregnant ladies, this is OK! Also, you get 1 so order multiple if you want more! Drink wise Saynnova recommended the OG milk punch and my husband really enjoyed it. And she got me small pour of a non alcoholic Chardonnay so I can clink with him. Very thoughtful. But it doesn't end there. She got him a slice of upside down cake with a fun sparkler! We appreciate her efforts to make the day even more special. Oh and one of the bathroom is kill bill themed.

Yelp
woohoo new drinks menu again! no idea what the jam is that gets used in the burrito, but I love it lol budae jigae was nice - I wasn't sure if I would since I'm not into spicy things nor kimchi, but the taste wasn't very strong Dwight schrute drink had beets and goat cheese - sounds SO Dwight but also SO weird ; honestly couldn't taste the cheese at all, nor the beets - there was a very slight aftertaste though Audrey Hepburn drink tasted like bubbly juice the outside chairs had some dried bird poop, but that's just the outside world - I sat on my napkin & it worked lol

Yelp
Came back on a Saturday with a friend. This time I made a reservation, and I noted that we were celebrating a birthday. We got seated in a quieter area in the back of the restaurant, which was nice. I'm not sure if this space is limited to parties with reservations. I stuck to savory menu items since I didn't love the sweet dishes I tried in my last visit. We each got 1 mimosa and shared 3 items: - P.O.G Mimosa - pretty good, I enjoyed the flavor combo of the passion fruit, orange, and guava - Smashed potatoes - This was one of my favorite dishes last time I was here so I had to get it again. My friend also loved it. If we weren't so full from the other dishes we'd probably have gotten a second plate. - Taco salad - We really enjoyed this too. It had good flavor and had a great ratio of dressing to salad. Our server warned that it would be slightly spicy (never a problem for us) but it didn't taste spicy at all So I think anyone who can't do spicy food should be find with this. - Baguette with butter of the day - also a hit. The baguette was tasty on its own and with the butter. It also went well with the Calabrian chili spread from the smashed potatoes. One thing to note is that the baguette isn't cut or anything, it's just one full baguette that you have to tear yourself. It was easy to do so but just wanted to warn anyone that doesn't like touching food lol. Last, since we were celebrating a birthday, we were served a slice of olive oil pineapple upside down cake at the end. I liked the flavors (not super sweet and you could taste the fruit in it) and how the texture was more like a muffin than cake. If it was on the menu I'd get it again. Our server was also really great and checked in often enough while still giving us space to eat. All in all, a good experience!

Yelp
The food was just okay in my opinion. The potato's sounded really good on the menu but once they arrived the aioli sauce that they put on them tasted horrible. To me it tasted like a bar of soup. The Burrata on the sourdough was a bit over rated nothing special about that appetizer. The moco loco with the fried rice is the only items that were good out of the 3 . It had good flavor from the gravy and the fried rice was very tasty. The inside is very cozy, updated farmhouse vibes and the customer service was very friendly.

Yelp
Came by a few months ago for a brunch meal. Someone in our party had dogs, so we sat outside. To seat our group up 5 and two dogs, we were placed in their patio seating area. I was not a fan of the deep cushions, tight seating, and low table. It was very awkward to eat. Staff was ok...but they also had trouble serving us our food when dropping food off. Overall, flavors at OCK are good...but for the price point, it is definitely a bit harder to justify. Smashed Potatoes $11 Crab Tostada $18 Hamachi $19 KFC $14 Early Bird Grits $9 Loco Moco $19 Burrito 2.0 $19 Side hashbrown $4 Grilled Ribeye $53.50 Pruneyard parking is difficult during peak hours. 5% living wage surcharge added to bill.

Yelp
Overall (5/5): OCK is a must try restaurant that regularly experiments with new items on the menu but keeps on staples that I imagine are too popular to take off. Definitely worthy of their bib gourmand status and I regularly find myself recommending this place for brunch often. Very fairly priced for the quality of food that you get IMO. Also always appreciate outdoor seating that allows dogs and offers water. Dog friendly approved. Ambiance (5/5): The space is organized, with clear visibility of the restroom and an open feel that suggests an easy flow for diners and staff. It's got a modern rustic or Scandinavian-ish style to it and I kind of dig it. Most importantly is that it feels clean and comfortable. There's also plenty of space to accommodate large or small parties. Service (5/5): Friendly and consistent service. We've become regulars here and our dog has made some friends with the waiters. Outdoor seating is dog friendly approved! Food (5/5): Triple B (5/5): Very sad that they removed the small jam jar with this dish but a staple non-the less. The whipped butter is just awesome, and along with the biscuit + candied bacon it's a no brainer why I never see this option removed from the menu. Sweet, savory, and rich. All good things KFC (5/5): Another item on their menu that I've never seen taken off. They've made slight changes such as smaller portion size + cucumber pickles have replaced the picked radish. Can't really complain though as the flavor profile is pretty much the same. Flavors are bold and not bland in the slightest. Highly recommend giving this one a shot. Smashed potatoes (4/5): A little disappointed in the texture as I would love to get some more crisp to the potatoes but the flavors are great. Can't really put my finger on the sauce but it's probably a creme fraiche yogurty thing. IDK but it's tangy and delicious. Love the grated cheese that goes along with it and would like to see a more generous caviar bump when added. Lamb riblets (4/5): These are sticky, be warned. I think these are pretty good and would order them again but not something I've felt myself craving. The presentation with the mustard seeds is something I can appreciate along with the full dish. Outside of that, the cook on the ribs is slightly inconsistent and I found some dry parts here and there but still a good dish overall. Loco Moco (4.5/5): The gravy is great and on the brink of drinkable. The only gripe I really have is with the meat patty as it is dry. The gravy helps mask it, but I would really like to see the cook on the patty improve here. Kimchi Bloody Mary (10/5): I love this drink. They use a mushroom broth + furikake that brings so much umami to the table here and I hope they never take it off the menu. I've yet to drink a better bloody mary in my opinion. Definite MUST TRY if you are into bloody mary's

Yelp
OCK was an exceptional venue for hosting our 2024 Holiday Christmas Party for a group of 30. From the start, Jessica, the event planner, was fantastic to work with. She was incredibly accommodating with all my last-minute changes and extensive questions. Everything I requested was met with a "No Problem" attitude, which was wonderful to experience. On the day of the event, our server Kobe was AMAZING. She offered excellent drink suggestions for our discerning group and expertly managed the timing of our drinks, appetizers, and meals so that we never felt like we were waiting. Kobe was so kind and personable; our entire group adored her as our server. Thank you so much, Kobe, for all your hard work. You made our 2024 Holiday Party unforgettable.

Yelp
We went for brunch and the drinks and food were excellent. The breakfast burrito is huge and enough to share. The crispy tater tots and the sweet tomato jam make it unique and really tasty. The kimchi bloody mary was excellent with a distinct flavor but not too strong. Espresso martini is also tasty! Service was attentive and interactive. Definitely recommend giving their brunch a try.

Yelp
Phenomenal dining experience! The menu items were utterly stunning, the staff was unmatched in the care they took of us, and the private dining room was beautiful and intimate.

Yelp
Oh my GOSH!! Why hadn't I known about this place before!!?? It's in the Pruneyard and I must have seen it before when going to Bucca but it never registered for us until my youngest raved about this place! We happened to be at Sports Basement and decided for a light brunch at OCK and was pleasantly surprised. Huge eating establishment - very cute and they have outdoor seating as well as indoor... We couldn't decide so they put us in between! LOL... we were right at the edge of the indoor at the opening to the outdoor! Was perfect. Our server was sweet and helpful. You get an "all day" menu along with the brunch/lunch menu so lots of selections. They especially had a lot of drink options but we were planning on running more errands so cold water it was for us! They give you a full carafe so it was nice we could just fill up our own waters but they checked and replaced when we ran out... For the meal... We started with a brunch appetizer! It's the Trout Roe that has caviar (the roe) and creme fraise on a crispy smashed tot. OMG - that was AMAZING and SO DELICIOUS. Now I wished I didn't share with hubby - I would've liked the whole thing to myself! LOL I thought $6 was a bit pricey at first but the smashed tot was actually a good size. Am definitely getting my own next time!! It'll be a nice treat! :) We then got "THE Burrito" - which was on the brunch menu. Has sausage, bacon, tots and a sweet chili sauce. IT WAS AMAZING. That crunch with the tots, the sweet chili sauce that pops in from time to time and then the sausage and bacon! They also serve it with a green salsa sauce which just enhances all the flavors and textures. We DEVOURED it and cleaned out the sauce!! Was a huge burrito - perfect for us to share... Am definitely getting this again. There was a place we used to get breakfast burritos that had tots in them in every time we went to Burbank, and we thought they were the BOMB. But this was an even better elevated version! And they're closer - so even better!! :) And then we had the peppered lamb riblets. WOWZA - SO MUCH FLAVOR - texture was pretty much on point - even the smaller pieces were tender. Though we were so stuffed we only ate a few each and brought the rest home but later that night they heated up even better. When we got it at the restaurant is was more room temp - I have to say heating up the leftovers at home made them even better!! Can't wait to go back and try their other dishes. Youngest said we HAVE to get the BBB next time. I eyed that but didn't think we could eat that much - so definitely will give that a try next time (that's the Biscuits, Bacon and Butter). :)

Yelp
The ambiance was really nice (except for a big fly that kept on coming over). For a high end restaurant there should be some more fly traps, it made me uneasy to see that flying over our indoor table. For the food, the garlic noodles had an eggshell piece. Otherwise the food was pretty tasty, but more mild on the garlic and with an egg. Would be nice to have more authentic garlic noodles. The Tapas style is small bites of food, which is a bit over priced in my opinion. The drinks were also pretty pricy with the one I had being $19. Just keep in mind that for food & two drinks (no dessert) the bill was $90 and not including tip.

Yelp
My interesting experience: My friend and I agreed to meet here for a late lunch. When we showed up, the doors were locked. I double checked Yelp and it said "Open." I was utterly confused. We gently knocked and a gentleman walked over and told us they were closed. There were other folks there who were also confused and we all talked about the inconvenience this caused. I was looking forward to eating here and drove to Campbell just to eat here. Please update your hours for your customers. Thank you

Yelp
Finally had the chance to try OCK after eyeing this spot for quite some time now. We booked a reservation for 4 on their website and luckily were able to postpone the reservation time by 30 minutes day of. Super thankful for their flexibility considering it was a weekend brunch! They offer two mocktails: Island Time and Coco Julius. Both really tasty non-alcoholic drinks. I heavily enjoyed the coconut flavor of the Coco Julius! * TASTE: 3/5 -- We started off our meal with the Taco Salad which was refreshing and had the perfect amount of sauce. The Chorizo Egg Sando and bacon were tasty. The sauce on the K.F.C. was a bit too sweet for our liking. We all agreed the Cure was skippable cause it reminded us of Shin ramen with flavored broth and made us feel kinda sluggish after. Overall, the food was decent but it didn't meet our expectations since many people rave about this place. NOTE: OCK rotates their menu every few months so be sure to check their website for updates! The service here is top-notched. Our server was super friendly and checked on us often. One of our orders didn't come out for a while but she quickly noticed that and it came out a few minutes later. Bright and relaxed ambiance that's great for small and large parties. Outdoor seating is available as well.

Yelp
My first time here, and it was so amazing--I can't believe I waited this long to try it! Location is 10/10--I love the Pruneyard and their movie theater too. The service was outstanding, and the waiters explained the concept of sharing and how to order. We had the biscuits and bacon, and these are a must-try. The Caesar salad was definitely the best and freshest I've ever had--my boyfriend agreed. The next standout dish was the Korean fried chicken--so good, with the perfect amount of spice and crunch. The pickled cucumbers were soooo delish. We could have done without the garlic noodles, though--they were very salty and not too flavorful. Love the outdoor space and they are very dog friendly! Super fun for big groups as well- I would love to come back with my friends for my birthday!

Yelp
I loved this place and plan to make a return with some friends. Hubby and I tried it here for Sunday brunch. We split an order of bacon and decided that it was the best we had had since we visited Charleston and Savanna. Delish! The blueberry pancakes were small in circumference but huge on flavor. Two are stacked together with blueberry sauce between them and creamy sauce on top, then more blueberry sauce on top of that then fresh lavender flowers. wow! That's when we knew why it's recommended by Michelin. I tried the Hobee like muffin with lemon sauce. Not as big as a piece of Hobee's coffee cake but enough for me.

Yelp
We had an amazing time at Orchard City Kitchen last night! I've been there a few times before, but this visit was the best. Their seasonal menu changes frequently, and this one was a real winner. They absolutely nail fried foods--perfectly crisp on the outside without overcooking the inside. We couldn't get enough of the fries, tempura mushrooms, and chicken-fried stuffing. But the real standout? The scallops dish. Incredible. Big shoutout to Mikey, who was the head chef that night--he crushed it. The service, as always, was top-notch, and the open kitchen was a vibe. It's a super comfortable spot, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a nice date night. If you haven't been, I can't recommend Orchard City Kitchen enough.

Yelp
Went on a Friday night and was sat right away. From the start, AMAZING service by Xavier. Incredibly knowledgeable and was able to ask all of our menu questions. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Fun restaurant with great service!

Yelp
Visited this cute spot for some fusion tapas and small bites, and it was a great experience overall. We came on a Saturday during lunch time and were pleased to find no wait. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice option. The menu changes every now and then, which keeps things interesting. The items are shareable, making it perfect for trying a variety of dishes. We ordered the $7 cart cakes, $16 KFC, $15 tot poutine, and $18 croque madame. The KFC, or Korean fried chicken, wasn't particularly interesting, and the cart cakes were just okay. However, I really liked the tot poutine, and the croque madame was cool looking, though a bit too heavy for my taste. The service was great, and the overall ambiance was pleasant. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy some unique fusion dishes in a nice setting.

Yelp
Updated Review I've returned a couple of times since my first visit and initial review, and I'm happy to say my experiences have improved enough that I felt compelled to share. When I called ahead for a table for 3, I was informed there would be an hour wait indoors, but they could seat us outdoors immediately, which worked perfectly since we had our dogs with us. However, when we arrived just a few minutes later, my daughter checked in while I parked and was told there were no tables available indoors or outdoors, with an hour-long wait. Confusingly, I noticed several open tables on the patio. I went inside to clarify, explained our phone conversation, and the hostess seated us immediately. My daughter, who is in her early 20s but looks younger, felt she may have been dismissed because of her age, though I assured her it was likely just a misunderstanding. This initial hiccup cost a star in my rating, but the rest of our experience more than made up for it. Once seated, the service was fantastic, and the food and drinks were exceptional, both in quality and portion size. We ordered: * Biscuits, Bacon & Butter * Dozen Chilled Oysters * Wood-Fired Half Artichoke * Tempura Oyster Mushrooms * Crispy Smashed Potatoes * Bone Marrow Pasta * Almond Wood-Grilled Ribeye For cocktails, we enjoyed the Philippines and London, both creative and well-crafted. Our bill came to $275 (not including tip) for the three of us--definitely on the pricier side, but I guess that's the impact of inflation. Overall, despite the rocky start, I'm pleased with the improvements and the team's willingness to accommodate us, and I look forward to dining here again.

Yelp
Fun and unique tapas restaurant! They use fresh ingredients and blend a medley of flavors in a way that I never knew was possible, but it blew my mind with every dish! There was a waitlist of 45 minutes for four people when we came around 5pm on a weekday. The Triple B (bread, butter, bacon) was simply yet delicious with their fluffy butter and savory bacon. Their mocktails and cocktails were unique -- and, fair warning, quite strong! Got the S.Korean milk punch which was refreshing. Would come again to try more menu items and for the chic ambiance!

Yelp
Cute spot for tapas and small bites! The food is a bit for their portions. They have indoor and outdoor seating but we chose to sit outside because it was a nice day out. Our server was super friendly and since it was our first time here she went through the entire menu with us and gave us recommendations. Our favorites were the scallops and bone marrow pasta. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the bone marrow pasta was so creamy and flavorful. Would also highly recommend trying the Vietnam cocktail and the chocolate banana bread pudding!!

Yelp
This place is fun and lively. Love the interior of this place, the selections are pretty creative. I absolutely enjoyed the fried mushrooms (soooooo good) is a must have and I had the bacon and biscuits. Bacon was great, biscuits were okay. A little dry but not so bad to make me not want to eat it lol. Also ordered the Karange chicken, this for me was a huge pass. Overly saucey so there wasn't a good crunch to the chicken. Now the drink I had was absolutely delicious, could've had a ton of those. Last but not least, the service was sincerely amazing! The waiter kept coming by and made sure everything was ok. Will come back again to try some other options next time.

Yelp
Service people very attentive. Waitress super helpful with menu selection and recommendations. Korean ribs were delicious, Bacon & biscuit's pretty yummy. We ordered the burger & split it as it was cooked to perfection, Best steak fries, hot & crispy. Topped our dinner with a great desert peanut butter chocolate soft serve with caramel topping. Friendly atmosphere, clean restaurant. Will definitely come back and try other items. $$ But worth it it Fresh and tasty.

Yelp
Was able to book a reservation 15 mins before arrival. For a table of 2 at ~1:30pm on a Saturday, the interior of the restaurant was pretty empty, so we were seated almost immediately. The server was nice and gave us a rundown of the menu, and recommended Triple B and the Loco Moco as they were popular dishes highlighted on the menu. What we ordered: - Trout Roe Bite ~ This was interesting. The hashbrown was crispy and soft. The creme fraiche added moisture and melted in your mouth. The trout roe was surprisingly chewy. Given the ratio of hashbrown and trout roe, we were left with having to chew trout roe and wanting more hashbrown to balance the dish. Note: this dish comes with only one piece. If you want more, order accordingly. We made the mistake ordering one, expecting more. - Grits ~ This was not as expected. The base of the dish was congee-- not the traditional grits. The ramen eggs were beyond too salty, and the dish mainly comprised of green onions and shallots. Given the ratio of toppings to base, this dish seemed more like a wet fried rice. - Loco Moco ~ For a highlighted dish on the menu, this dish fell flat. The garlic rice in the dish was overcooked and mushy. The flavor of the gravy was overpowered by the copious amount of kimchi unknowingly served with the dish. The overly amount of kimchi served on this dish was enough to be moved and fill the Grits dish. The burger patty was the star. The char of the burger was present, which added texture to this dish and bursts of flavor. But overall, for the most popular dish on the menu, this dish seemed lacking. - Triple B ~ This was the best item on the table. Although last to arrive, the bread was still warm and fluffy. Paired with the honey butter, the two go hand in hand, as the butter adds more moisture and faint sweetness from the honey. Unfortunately, the pile of bacon sat in its own pool of grease. The crunchiness was lost and only a chewy bacon remained. Between the questionable stains on the water jug that was provided, the bacon hanging off the plate and using the table as secondary plating, the subpar execution of Asian cuisine was the most disappointing. All in all, came super hungry. Left disappointed.

Yelp
My partner and I have been frequenting OCK once a month for the last year (if we like the menu for that month). A couple of weeks ago we discovered that they were having a Friends themed menu so we HAD to go. We were recently reminded of why we love this place so much. Not only is the food delicious but the service is TOP NOTCH. Despite having a full section, our server Oscar was incredibly attentive the entire time. He made sure to forgo onions, green onions & chives as requested. Even one of the food expeditors came by to make sure the temperature on our ribeye was to our liking. My partner and I enjoyed oysters, hamachi crudo, ahi tuna poke box, the ribeye, miso eggplant, Hokkaido scallops and the Caesar salad. We can't wait to see what their next menu theme will be.

Yelp
Walking up to the restaurant was nice as they had outside sitting area and the inside was pleasant. We were greeted promptly and the wait was about 2 minutes despite it being a little busy. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and really appreciated and loved her suggestions. The food was great but some slight misses which is why I gave it 4 stars. The KFC was great but personally thought it lacked a little more kick/spice. The pork belly flavors were wonderful but personally thought it to be a little over cooked. The dumping were great and on point. The KFC and pork belly I ate before realizing I didn't take a picture. Would I come back? Yes there so many other great sounding options I would love to try.

Yelp
Tucked away in the Pruneyard in Campbell, next to the movie theater. OCK is a nice spot with ample seating both indoor and outdoor (and the outdoor is heated too). My go to here is the 'triple B' (Biscuit, butter and Bacon), if you go here.. you need to order it, it's the law (well, not exactly.. but it should be). The drinks are pretty exotic and very tasty always an experience. The service is always fast and friendly, if you have questions they are quick with answers or recommendations.
