Google
I have been a member of way too many local wineries and this is by far the best tasting wine at an amazing price as well. I love the food truck out front and Michelle and Mark are awesome!

I found this place when I walked around Eugene. It was around noon so not crowded. I taste 5 kinds of wine. She wrote name of wine on bottom of glass. These wines are tasty and had hard time to choose a bottle which I wanted to buy for my friend back in Tokyo. The person at counter was very friendly and I surely enjoyed explanation about wine and conversation. Thanks for good time (^_^)

Google
I’ve been to OWL several times over the years, but just heard that all your bartenders recently walked out due to a toxic work environment and abusive behavior by the owners. I’m also aware of accounts from numerous past employees confirming the same thing. I will not be returning again.

Warm spacious room with a cool vibe. Very local. Flexible flights. Delicious charcuterie plate with kickass castelvetrano olives. Knowledgable and friendly hostess named Allie. When I didnt like one of thebtastes she immediately offered up another. They aim to please - I love that! Live music on weekends and trivia on thursdays which supposedly goes off. They combine art, wine, music and fun very nicely. Not really a good place to meet new people but perfect to bring a few friends and enjoy life.

Could not be more pleasant! Outdoor covered seating, excellent vietnamese food cart, water at the tables! Dog friendly. Excellent beer and wine!

Google
Great variety of really good wine, super wonderful staff & a great place to meet up. Thanks for hosting meetings, gang!

Google
Great selection of wine, fantastic art, the hostess was lovely, I cant remember her name but her natural blond hair was lovely.

Google
My husband and I stopped in on our trip. We each got a wine flight and shared a sardine board - everything was delicious. We got to meet the owners too - they are truly passionate about their craft. Their wines are made on site and at their nearby farm. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Charcuterie board is pretty good, but to be clear I come here for the drinks and the atmosphere. The patrons are amazing and the bar tenders are outstanding. I love to come here and have a drink and read a book Added bonus is it's the only place I know in town where there's a classy vibe and also allows dogs inside.
google avatar

Yelp
We loved the casual vibe of this wine bar, and the variety of choices to suit whatever you might fancy. The bartender was very informative and kind as well! We will certainly be back for more. It's a mid-sized bar with seating outside and in. Some folks bring board games to play as a group or their laptop to work independently. Not stuffy, just nice wine. The food options sounded lovely, and I look forward to trying them next time!
google avatar

Yelp
I like this place for the unpretentious, the friendly staff, and the mellow atmosphere. This time I got a tasting flight of white wine, the dry riesling was my favorite. A flight is $12. I've never had the food here (I always get something from the food cart outside) but they do offer a few cheese plate options. This is a good spot for a mellow date night or a drink with a friend. (They have a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, too!)
google avatar

Sylvia B.

Yelp
We have had a few events using their outdoor patio seating. We tried their on-tap Kombucha which is excellent. They serve BNF Kombucha on tap which has quickly become our favorite. The Mediterranean food truck outside has tasty falafel as well.

Yelp
I don't leave many reviews and I try not to leave negative reviews. But.....This place is amazing if you feel like being ignored, we never got served. We felt like having a glass of wine and getting some food so we popped in the gentlemen behind the bar, helped the ladies sitting down at the bar. My wife was standing at the bar, waiting in line. Another couple walks in stands on the other end of the bar, and he immediately starts to help them, which were undecided about what they wanted never acknowledging my wife or our existence. We were trying to be as patient as possible, but were ignored completely. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

Yelp
Oregon wine lab is a great spot to grab a glass of wine in Eugene. Staff is knowledgeable, passionate, and fun. The venue is chill and relaxing. Outside seating is perfect when the weather cooperates. Currently Yabai Nikkei is the food truck and its a fantastic farm to table ramen/Japanese style food truck.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
The wine LAB has wonderful drinks, a great outdoor sitting area (usually with a few cute doggos wandering around!), and Da Nang food truck has such good Vietnamese food. The William Rose wines are very tasty for a reasonable price! I would totally recommend this spot.
google avatar

Desireé H.

Yelp
We love the option to sit inside or outside with our dog. We took Daisy inside and she and all the dogs were well behaved even with the excitement of another dog joining. The staff are so friendly and were patient as we decided which bottle to purchase. They guided us through the bottle choices and offered a sample taste which was helpful. We didn't try the food truck but heard it's a must. Looking forward to the next trip!
google avatar

Gina S.

Yelp
I love this place! I had never gone to any tasting rooms downtown until this January. Now it's a favorite! They environment it very chill, staff is nice and there are friendly dogs! We really liked the wine. I'm not sure if the food truck is always the same. We had Vietnamese and it was delicious.

Yelp
I have been here many times over the last few years, and have always been impressed with the service. I wish I could say I had stopped in for some wine on the occasions that I stopped in, but the days I stopped was mainly for lunch, and I was a DD so I was the one ordering a non alcoholic beverage while enjoying the wonderful food cart they have outside. There are always a cozy place to sit, and chat no matter the weather outside. Even the outside has tables that are under an area that has a tent that is open. Very friendly customer service. I can't wait to some time try the wines they have.
google avatar

Darcey H.

Yelp
I am such a fan of everybody here. The entire staff is super friendly and helpful. And during the whole C 19 crisis they had their routine and protocol down tight. It was one of the first places that I went to to enjoy sitting outside and having wine when we move to phase 2. I'm generally a nice dry crisp white wine drinker but I have to say the Reds here are phenomenal. The space inside and out as big enough for meeting friends. And the Vietnamese food truck outside always delivers incredible food. Overall it's just a great place to come and enjoy local wine and friends
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
The Wine Lab has become one of our favorite getaways. Very good wine and beer selection at a great price. The wonderful Da Nang Vietnamese food cart on premises. Plenty of covered outdoor seating. Always perfect for lunch and dinner.
google avatar

Pam G.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, good wine , fair price. Would recommend and will be back. Wine flight $12!
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
We had a great visit. We enjoyed quality wine and friendly service. The food from the Vietnamese food truck is also yummy and you can enjoy the food and wine on the patio. Yes, the staff and patio were also super dog friendly which is a plus when traveling with our greyhound.

Yelp
My BF and I stopped by Oregon Wine Lab to grab a drink or two while we waited for another business in the area to open up. Unfortunately our vist was just okay. Pros: ++ Since we stopped in on a game day (Go Ducks!) they were projecting the game onto one of the walls. Fun way to catch the game. ++ The space was really nice! I liked the repourposed wine barrels used for the bar facade. ++ They have a couple options for non-wine drinkers including cider from Wildcraft Cider up the street and a couple different beers too. ++ There's a great patio area that would be fabulous for enjoying some vino on those warm summer nights with friends. ++ They have a wide variety of wine options, primarily William Rose wines that are produced on site and some others from various local wineries. Cons: -- Our server, after assisting us with our initial drink order, never once checked on us for the hour we were there. Sitting at the bar. He was too involved in conversation with the patrons next to us. Bummer! -- Prices seemed a little steep for the single pours. Next time, I would choose to do one of the flights they offer and try a variety. I'd consider coming back on another trip to Eugene, but it's not a must. **Pro Tip: Seems like they offer some paint and sip sort of events from time to time which might be fun to check out too.
google avatar

Judith M.

Yelp
The staff here is the reason I love it. There is always someone behind the counter who really wants to talk to me about the wine, where it comes from, how it is made etc. There's always a good suggesting about what to try, the pour is always generous & Yes, the house wine is great. And the local winemaker does a solid by bringing other killer options in house. Thanks And extra shoot out to Bruce, the newest addition!
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
Yesterday was my second time visiting Oregon Wine Lab (the first time was for Yelp event) and had a great experience, better than the first time actually. I love the patio area! My friends and I were happily surprised that even in mid-November, it was warm enough to enjoy our sips outside. Even though the patio is right along the street, it is set back and feels cozier than you would expect. The bartender recommended a great wine for me based on what I told her I typically like. It was $9 for a glass, which is about average for this place ($7-12 range for glass). So, if you are with a group and can come to agreement, it's probably a better deal to just go for a whole bottle than per glass. They also offer a couple beer options and other non-alcoholic choices, such as kombucha. Oregon Wine Lab seems to host a lot of events and entertainment too, including charity nights, yoga classes (with mimosas) and free live music! Their website has an event calendar to see what's happening on any given day.

Yelp
Luna Bleu LOVES Oregon Wine Lab! The staff are amazing, very puppy-friendly (and people-friendly!) The wine is on point, I love the Finley Pinot Noir and they also have some delicious dry Rose for summer. We love hanging out on their patio, and appreciate all of their covid-19 safety measures. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
The Lab is an awesome place for everyone in the neighborhood to hang out. Great community spirit and fun atmosphere. Delicious local wine, beer, cider and a bunch of other beverages to accommodate everyone's thirst. Da Nang food cart provides the eats! Bring your friend, family, work mates, even your pooch!

Vince R.

Yelp
Really nice selection of local wines. Friendly staff, nice outdoor seating environment. The food truck is also amazing. Chicken pho is amazing
google avatar

Lori S.

Yelp
Fabulous Tempranillo and a surprising DRY Riesling. Nice patio out front next to a delicious Asian food truck. Always someone friendly serving up wine or sampling wine. Definitely give it a try!
google avatar

Jess N.

Yelp
Oregon wine lab is a great place to relax and try some great wines! I've never been disappointed by anything in their selection. I recently went for Latin night which is a great time to visit. They offer dancing classes that you can enjoy while drinking or just grab a drink and watch the festivities. On these nights they also have empanadas for sale along with the food truck outside. It was a great evening and definitely worth going back to again!
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I wanted to do a little wine tasting while in Eugene so we began here at Wine LAB and had a wonderful experience. Cassie was absolutely wonderful and provided not only a fantastic experience but exceptional knowledge around the various wines we tried during our tasting - we ended up leaving with a couple bottles but overall really loved our visit and it's mainly in part due to Cassie. She also recommended a few other places to check out in Eugene, which was great. We love coming across individuals who are passionate about what they do and sharing what they with others. Can't wait to come back but above all we recommend Cassie.

Ellie B.

Yelp
Passed a very pleasant afternoon sipping wine on their patio. Particularly enjoyed the red blend. The staff were great!
google avatar

Kim D.

Yelp
Had a great night at the OWL. Wine selection is perfect for an afternoon/evening glass. They have ample seating inside and out, cars and board games and a delicious Vietnamese food cart. Family friendly too!!
google avatar

Justice L.

Yelp
Traveling from San Francisco and I can say that this amazing Vietnamese and beer and kombucha Holds up against our taste buds that have been spoiled by the best food in the world. If you live in Eugene or are you here or are on vacation I can give this the seal of approval. We got A nonalcoholic rose something kombucha, local beer on draft, steak bahn mi and tofu salad.

shay l.

Yelp
Good wine, fun laid back atmosphere. They have a yummy food truck on site too and outdoor seating. Owners are nice people, the type of business you want to support!

Yelp
My new favorite local spot for wine, and I'm not employed there...saw someone's review saying that the good reviews were from people who worked there. I'm guessing that person has an unevolved palate or is used to other terrior--these are Oregon wines! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The red selections can be astringent/tannic/oaky (me likey oaky) and worth exploring for their uniqueness representing Oregon terror at its finest. White wine drinkers have something to look forward too: the full range of dry to fruity, and their rose is something special--if you are a fan of dry rose's in the fashion of Provence--bone dry with that essence of fruit (strawberries, tart raspberries, cranberries)--perfect for warm spring days...dreamy... Wish the bar was designed slightly different, with a bit more bar top over the unique stave basket weave design made from wine casks. As a tall person my knees take a bashing when sitting at the bar eating and drinking...and I love sitting at bars. Here I make an exception and endure the knee beating because I dig the wine venue. They usually have a food cart but check the hours because they are closed between 2 & 5pm. Right now it's the Da Nang Vietnamese cart--the food is tasty, reasonably priced, good portions and pairs well with the wine selection. If you're not in the mood for the cart, check out the house cheese plates--wine & cheese tend to please...I just made that up...feel free to steal it. Thursday trivia night is fun for hanging with pals and Friday's they have good live music! I also noticed they have a private loft room with a windowed view of the main bar and from what I understand one can reserve it for a party free of charge! May have my 50th birthday here or start it here and pub crawl up the street to Wildcraft Cider Works, just 2 blocks north of location. Also, Wildcraft is on tap here as well as 2 beer selections on draft--so something for people who aren't wine fans to enjoy with their wine friends. They also have wi-fi if you need access, and some nice seating around the establishment for small groups of 3-5. Can't wait to swagger up to the bar and whack my knees once again...may need to invest in knee pads...

Yelp
This place was a great find. Such a fun space. We walked in and immediately noticed the beautiful, Gorgeous Bar that the wine maker/owner created. It was created with a repurposed Wine Barrel. The sides were BEAUTIFUL! And, it was well planned out and organized, with a foot rest at the bottom for comfort, as well as the most important hat/jacket/purse hook on the side! IT was prepared with everyone except the troph/urinal at the bottom!!! Which is probably for the best that way! =) But, it was really cozy and comfy inside... with bar seating as well as other tables, if you wanted to buy a bottle and hang out for awhile. And, they also have a conference room upstairs, for use for anyone to arrange a private meeting on their space (as long as your purchase some wine and support the wine bar!) Also, they have a large patio out front, and I believe dogs are allowed there too, and that would be the spot to be, on a warm day. I didn't hear much about this place before hand, and was curious about their name. I was intrigued with a name like Laboratory, I was imagining Lab Coats, and beakers and maybe being able to create your own red blends, or roses'. Unfortunately this place is not like that, so I was a little disappointed at the forefront, but their wine made up for it. They had really good varietals. I did a red tasting flight (4 tastes for $12) and I essentially got to do a vertical flight of their 2013, 2014, 2015 pinot noirs. The 2013 was my personal favorite, very bright and acidic! And, I also tried their demon bird, which was an Italian Varietal-red blend. That was really fun, and would be good without food or with dinner. We actually bought a bottle of that, to enjoy at home. And, that bottle was $16, so it was very approachable. I also split a glass of Tempranillo with my friend, and that was really good as well, it was very oaky. This is another great spot in Eugene, Oregon.

Yelp
Our friends at Kings Estate Winery recommended that we visit Oregon Wine Lab to try additional wines after the vineyards closed for the day. Boy are we happy that we did. As we approach the LAB, there are plenty of folks seated at casual outdoor tables, and a food truck offering great eats to the crowd. We step up to the bar and we are immediately asked two questions. 1. What type of wine do you like so I can select one for you 2. Are you here for the Bachata dance lessons? Big, earthy dry red and SURE! Apparently this was the first time the LAB decided to host dance lessons, and they were eager to see the result. I can tell you that the result was a lot of great people had an excellent time learning this Dominican Republic style of dance, similar to salsa dancing. My friend and I jumped right in and learned the steps as we all switched from partner to partner. Along the way there were a lot of laughs, some fun moves, good music, and intriguing chats with a lot of locals in Eugene. It was an absolute blast! We couldn't walked into a more fun evening if we tried. In between dancing, I had a few great reds from the LAB. The service was great and the vibe was excellent.
google avatar

Kelly B.

Yelp
Staff is friendly, and service is great! I'm not a huge fan of all their wines, but that's just me. It's also dog friendly! Win! :-)
google avatar

Courtney G.

Yelp
Such a fun little urban winery in Eugene- one of my favorite spots for a day date or relaxing afternoon (they do close at 8, so don't plan to spend the whole evening here). The wine is made on sight, and we enjoyed learning more about it from the staff working. Cozy interior with couches and tables- they also host many private and public events, including yoga, dance lessons, and release parties for different wines. They also frequently host private events such as reunions and baby/wedding showers. They have a nice little patio outside, and the Vietnamese food truck on sight is sensational. Once you are done, you can also walk over to Capitello tasting room to keep the party going if you want to go on an urban wine tour. :)
google avatar

Diane C.

Yelp
Very nice but casual at the same time. We enjoyed a bottle of the Finley pinot noir and ate from the food truck Da Nang, which was also good. Because the weather was cooler we were happy to score a couch inside. But, they do have a nice patio too when weather gets better.
google avatar

Abigail F.

Yelp
Pleasant spot to sample local wines with quiet outdoor seating (w/ umbrellas!) and a food truck nearby. For those who want to learn more about wine, the staff is eager to talk about it.
google avatar

Joshua C.

Yelp
This is a great concept and I love the large selection of wines. Also love that there is a permanent food cart just outside.
google avatar

Marie F.

Yelp
The guy who works the bar is pretty nice. I will forever know him as "blue shirt guy" cuz that was what he was wearing the first time I visited the lab...during a Yelp event. He is always there it seems. They were on the wine walk circuit and they also have art displayed for first Fridays. I got the artist name of the Danny Devito picture (Mark Rogers) and ordered one posthaste. They have a dart board for funsies and an upstairs area. They only sell Oregon wine. Seems like a cool joint. William Rose Gewurtztraminer was my favorite wine of the wine walk. It's sweet though.
google avatar

Guy W.

Yelp
Love that the tasting room is in one of the up and coming industrial neighborhoods with tons of good restaurants within walking distance. Great place to start a night out! Their Pinot Gris is pretty damn good too!

Daniel E.

Yelp
Love it! selection here is really good and the bartender hooked it up with my favorite 50/50 cider kombucha and helped me pair it perfectly. We've dubbed it the Bugbite in honor of the classic and more robust snakebite. Outdoor seating is rad. Loved eating some dope food from Da Nang with my bugbite and listening the the trains cruise by. Saturday is my Sunday and I needed a little chill
google avatar

Michelle G.

Yelp
I love this place so much. The atmosphere of the interior is lovely, and there are free board games to play with your friends and family if you desire. If you can, definitely plan your visit when the food truck is opened as the food is super flavorful in all the right ways. Additionally, if you can/in a large group, buy by the bottle instead of per glass as it will be cheaper that route.
google avatar

Rick M.

Yelp
I went last month and the wine wasn't very good. The live music was BLAH and staff wasn't as attentive as I thought they should be. Perhaps it was just an off night across the board but first impressions count for me. I won't be back. :/

Chris S.

Yelp
Twice now, my wife and I have driven across town to go here. Both times we checked Facebook to see if they were open and both times we got there and they told us that they were closed because of a special event. Get with times and mention if you are truly open to the public. I will never attempt to go in again.

Arian M.

Yelp
I ordered a beer from a keg that ran out mid-pour. The server commented on her relief for it not having blown during an earlier rush, and handed me half a beer as I waited for her to change the keg. No problem. When she finally returned with my order a few minutes later, she practically snatched the half pour out of my hand without a word. To be fair, I didn't pay for 1.5 beers. But her service was rude, confusing, and contradicted every form of service etiquette I've come to know in my many years of experience on both sides of the bar. Disappointing.
google avatar

Lynn N.

Yelp
I'm certain the 5 star reviews are from employees. This is the second time I've been here. The service is awful - and the wine is worse. We have asked in and were treated at we 6 minutes. Talked into having the white tasting? Don't do it. Worst I've ever tasted. We didn't even finish our flight, so we never made it to the red. Good luck to you if you partake!
google avatar

Roger R.

Yelp
Some of the most exquisite wine I've had that was fermented in a plastic cube. Essence of dingle berries. 10/10 would not return.
google avatar

John N.

Yelp
Looks like an art gallery, so of course there's wine! Great art everywhere with an open concept environment
google avatar

Robert F.

Yelp
Really high quality wines and Jen was as nice as you can be. This was our second trip here and both have been delightful.

Shelley H.

Yelp
If I could give this place a big zero, I would. I've now been here twice, and it's nothing special. But the last time I went, it was downright unpleasant. I had a couple of tastes -- because after all, you should know what you like when you're ordering a $10 glass of wine. I ordered, and my husband came up behind me, saying to the host, "I understand we first taste a couple, then order?" She said flatly, "No, that's over." He blinked, surprised. She stood firm. He ordered a beer instead because again -- if you're getting a pricey glass of wine, you'd better know you like it. I have never been to a wine bar where they don't graciously provide a few tastes before ordering. Further, there was no information provided whatsoever about the wines. We saw that they seemed to mostly be William Rose. Well, ok. We tried to find out more, but there was no further information coming. When we taste wine -- which is frequently -- we like to know about the vintner, where the grapes were grown, the way it was aged, etc. This was a disappointing visit, and we will not be back. Further, we have a local, busy B&B, and we will warn our guests about this place. There are plenty of fine establishments in Eugene, and unfortunately, this is not one.
google avatar

Missy D.

Yelp
Absolutely hands down some of the best wines I've ever tasted. The Syrah/Grenache is to die for, I wanted to take a case home! The staff is amazingly nice, talkative, and knowledgeable about all their wines, even other brands. The winemaker Mark is the sweetest! Sasha waited on us and she was great, friendly, and made the best recommendations. I'll definitely be back!!!

Yelp
GREAT place to come and taste some local (meaning EUGENE) wines that are being whipped up in small batches by talented wine makers. The service is always top-notch, very informative and prompt. There is always a fabulous food cart parked out front to enjoy a great meal, as well. I like coming here to relax - unpretentious and quaint.
