Yelp
This place was a great find. Such a fun space. We walked in and immediately noticed the beautiful, Gorgeous Bar that the wine maker/owner created. It was created with a repurposed Wine Barrel. The sides were BEAUTIFUL! And, it was well planned out and organized, with a foot rest at the bottom for comfort, as well as the most important hat/jacket/purse hook on the side! IT was prepared with everyone except the troph/urinal at the bottom!!! Which is probably for the best that way! =) But, it was really cozy and comfy inside... with bar seating as well as other tables, if you wanted to buy a bottle and hang out for awhile. And, they also have a conference room upstairs, for use for anyone to arrange a private meeting on their space (as long as your purchase some wine and support the wine bar!)
Also, they have a large patio out front, and I believe dogs are allowed there too, and that would be the spot to be, on a warm day.
I didn't hear much about this place before hand, and was curious about their name. I was intrigued with a name like Laboratory, I was imagining Lab Coats, and beakers and maybe being able to create your own red blends, or roses'. Unfortunately this place is not like that, so I was a little disappointed at the forefront, but their wine made up for it. They had really good varietals. I did a red tasting flight (4 tastes for $12) and I essentially got to do a vertical flight of their 2013, 2014, 2015 pinot noirs. The 2013 was my personal favorite, very bright and acidic! And, I also tried their demon bird, which was an Italian Varietal-red blend. That was really fun, and would be good without food or with dinner. We actually bought a bottle of that, to enjoy at home. And, that bottle was $16, so it was very approachable. I also split a glass of Tempranillo with my friend, and that was really good as well, it was very oaky. This is another great spot in Eugene, Oregon.
