Late hours, karaoke nights, and a broad menu make this Muldoon institution a reliable meet‑up for sesame chicken, wonton soup, and combo plates. Recent listings show it open most nights and closed Tuesdays, drawing a mix of families and night owls.

Great food, strong drinks, open mic karaoke. 🎤 Welcoming atmosphere. Come check it out. Leave my home girl Aly a good tip. She works hard.

This was a pretty dark Chinese restaurant. Generally you're use to seeing windows with restaurants but I know they also support bar activities so maybe that was why. The service was really good. The main problem was the cleanliness. If you look up in this restaurant you can see the ceiling fan had some dust caked on the blades. Also the bottles of alcohol on display on the top shelf all had some great amount of dust as well. Surly all of these fall on the food as well. So not sure how it is in the back unfortunately. The food was also pretty pricy for no reason. Should be around the $10-$20 area. Otherwise I did eat and it was pretty tasty.

Apparently you can go in and pick up anyone’s food for free. Management won’t reimburse you or attempt to make it right and remake your food. Great if you are on a budget or homeless and need free food. Good luck!

Google
Ok... So I ordered from here quite often until now that is, since it's one of only 2 places that are open and nearby when I get off work at 1030pm. I've noticed their portions have been getting a bit small. I ordered from there the other night, and first off... it was almost a $50 order since I added crab rangoons (not knowing it was $18!) a combo with sesame chicken and Mongolian beef (my usual).. when I get home, after waiting over 50 mins not 30 like what was said when I ordered.. and talking to CSP for them for a drunk passed out by the front stairs.. my crab rangoons were ice cold ($18 in the trash). There was barely any Mongolian beef, it was mostly onions. And my sesame chicken was so SEVERELY overcooked, that I couldn't even chew it. It was fried to being as hard as a rock! My dog couldn't even eat a piece without almost choking on it! So I call and let them know what happened, and the lady on the phone says "oh there's nothing we can do about that". So awesome. 👍🏻 You just lost a loyal regular customer. I do not recommend! Seems like the quality of their food has dramatically dropped along with their portion sizes and the prices have skyrocketed. Not a good mix.

Google
I arrived at the restaurant because I had placed an order. I arrived 1 hour later after I ordered the food and was expecting it to be ready. But I waited almost 1 hour, even though I placed it beforehand. I asked a lady for help and she told me take out orders and really not our priority. Worst restaurant in the county. Rude staff and really really long waits.

Google
We got the Mongolian beef bento, sesame chicken wok special, crab rangoons, and wonton soup. Lemme tell you something… this was the best chinese food I have had in a looong time. Everything was delicious and the proportions were decent size. Plus the lady working the front was super sweet. Will 100% be back

Google
We ordered out late, at midnight, packaged perfect, I wanted wonton soup as it's easy on my stomach and it was amazing, full of veggies, hot and they even made me extra won tons per my request! 🥰 We also ordered crab ragoons which were perfect, on a bed of cabbage to soak up the grease plus hot and sour soup but, we havn't tried it yet as we're both stuffed off one soup but It looks great and a meal for later!! Thanks for being open late and making us what we wanted!! 💝 Highly recommend

Google
Amazing Chinese food! I grew up in Los Angeles and know what good Chinese should taste like. The owner is very sweet and kind as well! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Ok this place is a definite must try. We came in for lunch and wow was it amazing! We ordered the dragon special and tempura bento box. That dragon roll was out of this world. I also appreciated that they had amaebi which wasn't actually on the menu. But if u know u know and they will make it for you upon request. We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
5 stars for the best Mongolian beef I've tried! I'll be back for the same order only double Mongolian beef. They stay open till 130am. I placed an order at 1:05 and they happily made it- hot n ready when I picked it up. Yum!

Yelp
The employees here aren't accountable enough to know who ordered what and will just hand out food to anyone who walks in. Saying that, they don't offer refunds if you paid for food ahead of time and they hand it out to someone else. They won't even offer to make the food again. Don't spend your money here.

Yelp
We've come here a couple times. My husband gets the lo mein and he is thrilled with it each time! I've tried several of their dishes and most of the time they're a bit too greasy. But the taste is still what you'd expect of a Chinese restaurant. Service is good, nothing to write too much about. We've come when it's been quiet so it's a peaceful meal. Not sure if I'd dine in again but I'm sure my husband wouldn't mind take-out from here again in the future

Rylynn L.

Yelp
Food is great costumer service has been horrible for as long as I can remember. The last 3x I ordered for pick up they hadn't start cooking the food till I get there after already being told an hour wait just ridiculous

Yelp
Go here probably the most for food in anchorage whenever I'm crazing Asian. Absolutely delicious every time. Today I wasn't too hungry so tried the cheesecake they had on the menu and wasn't expecting too much but its also quite delicious, and it was warm too(didn't expect that) Service is always pleasant here and food comes quickly, usually not too busy of a place either and has a calming atmosphere.

Shera Z.

Yelp
Good Chinese for Anchorage. The fried rice and general chicken is great and you can't go wrong. Seems like a "safe" place to eat when you're craving Chinese!!
google avatar

Yelp
Clean place with friendly service and late hours. Had the family dinner for two and an order of Rangoons. The Mongolian beefs was really good. Chicken teriyaki and sweet/sour pork was average. The Rangoons were better than average and the egg rolls were excellent. The bbq pork and prawns were meh. Fried rice was average. Good spot for Chinese but it's a bit of a hunt to figure out what they do well. Definitely would go back for what we liked.

Yelp
Loved both sauces on theses two dishes; shrimp vegetable & general tso chicken. I usually go for the kung pao but I wanted something different.

Yelp
Ordered from this place many times and found the food to be consistently good and on some occasions great! You get a good quantity of food for the amount you're paying so ordering here is well worth the money. I typically order the sesame chicken with Mongolian beef combo. I haven't sat and ate in the dining area before but I have been there on a karaoke night and enjoyed hanging out in the bar section. The lead lady working there was friendly and served up some hot food right at the bar! I've only had one minor issue with the this restaurant- I attempted to place an order over the phone but was immediately placed on hold where I waited about 20 minutes before calling the restaurant again on a separate phone were we once again sat on hold for 10 minutes. At the end of all the waiting we decided with just ordering online and of course the food was tasty.

Yelp
Haven't found my go-to Chinese spot yet, as this one was meh. They're severely understaffed, as we waited for our pickup order 40 minutes longer than the expected time. Not a dealbreaker though because covid hit many businesses just a note if you're in a rush. The good: generous portions, the soups were very hearty if you prefer less broth, and the food was hot. My husband liked the hot and sour soup for the flavor. The egg rolls were our favorite item. The not so good: dry chicken on the orange chicken entree, wonton soup that was over zealous, the pineapple in the orange chicken tasted off. The soups had too much junk in it though and I wanted more soupy soup if that makes sense. Ended up picking at the leftovers but ultimately throwing it away because the chicken was too tough.

Yelp
My husband & I loved coming here for their Korean food. However, as good as the food is, if we thought it was expensive before- it's definitely way more expensive now. A couple that was dining there the same night as us had to leave because their usual order that was normally $17 was now $23. I know inflation & all that, but still. I don't think the food is worth the new prices.

Marie J.

Yelp
Kenny will and has taken into consideration my ideas and is amazing at what he does. Thank you as always.

Yelp
Excellent Chinese food! Best in Anchorage for sure. We have lived here for over 20 years and can say we have not had better in town. I loved my almond chicken and beef broccoli.
google avatar

Peter H.

Yelp
Mongolian beef is excellent, chicken dishes are good. 1st time when i paid $7.95 for fried rice i got an extra little box full, second time was just in the main dish box, not worth it.
google avatar

Eva W.

Yelp
They have great food, very flavorful and crispy! Even take out is good! My favorite Chinese restaurant in anchorage
google avatar

Teri H.

Yelp
They were open past 10 pm and we were hungry after an event. The food was served hot, fast and Reasonably priced. Will keep as a late night hang out for us.

Yelp
Food is fresh and light, not too greasy or oily. Although I made my order via DoorDash it arrived quickly and still had the taste of eating fresh from the kitchen,

Jarrell D.

Yelp
I called to inquire about delivery. Spoke to a lady named Sara. She was dope. Very personable and willing to engage with me. I changed my mind to pickup n she still didn't seem annoyed or rude as she put together my order. Love this new touch to Oriental.! Get the Mongolian beef.

JT T.

Yelp
Ordered $100 of food for delivery. Stated specific instructions on delivery of food to LEFT GATE FRONT DOOR. We're told we would get text notification for delivery AND drop off. Sat at home watching door for delivery at approximate time and NOTHING. Waited extra 15 minutes after delivery time to call and ask where our food was, person on phone stated "we delivered." Told them nothing at the door and no text. Finally walked around entire house and these reh-tards put our $100.00 of food on the back patio deck in the damn rain from our neighbors gate. They said they would Refund but of course no refund. Food was cold and all wet, would drive up today to throw this trash on their door step but leaving on a trip. AVOID, this place they are Trash and customer service is &$)(-$hy&.

Marvalyn E.

Yelp
I just received my order, what they call Mongolian beef is not Mongolian beef, they didn't clean the shrimp for tempura and that was not tempura batter! I really dislike paying good money for crap food!!!
google avatar

Tina W.

Yelp
Service was good. Food was fresh and the portions are very big. I had leftovers for days. The soup was delicious and the general Tso chicken was great.
google avatar

Elisabeth B.

Yelp
One of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever ordered delivery or dined in at. The food is incredible, especially their Kung Pao shrimp (extra spicy) and the employees are very friendly professional.

Rebekah K.

Yelp
Food was tasting really good and then I found a FU***** paper clip in my food. Honestly i'm more confused than mad.

John Y.

Yelp
Good comfort foods that was two thumbs up across the board! I was happy I stopped in, good stuff!!
google avatar

Yelp
My new go to! The chicken wings are great, as is all the food I've ordered there. Good portions for fair prices, & quick delivery service.
google avatar

Danika I.

Yelp
My friend and I ate here on Christmas eve and the food slaps. Everything was delicious, the fried rice smells amazing and tastes even better. I recommend the teriyaki chicken, probably the best I've had in town.

Jen J.

Yelp
A new favorite place in town. I've only tried the Korean food here so far, but i absolutely love it. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it for me. The chicken wings are delicious! I've tried both the Mandarin Sweet & Sour beef and pork. The pork is my favorite. The black bean soy noodle is very good as well. I live out in the valley so it took about 45 minutes to an hour to get home. I simply tossed the noodles in a pan with the sauce to reheat it and it was perfect. Would definitely recommend this place.

Matthew H.

Yelp
My wife and I went around dinner time (5pm) and it was a ghost town. We were greeted by the waitress and thought this would make the food come faster but we could not be anymore wrong. We waited 15 minutes and didn't even have our order taken. We decided to go eat elsewhere. Had high hopes and hopefully this was a one off.
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
Best Chinese on muldoon side of town the food is always good its the understaffed the language barrier mess up your order but overall great
google avatar

T.L. T.

Yelp
Nope. Had crab rangoon, sick all day with the crab rangoon revisiting. Never been so sick from any anchorage restaurant.
google avatar

Anee V.

Yelp
Big portions for a good price. I'm addicted to their spicy chicken wings and black bean noodles. I haven't found any other restaurants here that has the Korean wings like this. Reminds me of home. Does take a while to get the food, but it's fresh and I love it!

Tobias R.

Yelp
Great food not the greatest service but the food is bomb. Sesame chicken is awesome, and the low Mien I usually get is very consistent.
google avatar

Brooke L.

Yelp
Left out half our pickup order. We called back to let them know a combo was missing and they said nothing was missing. We double-checked the price we paid and sure enough we paid for an additional meal we never received.
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
We were down at Tikatnu and craving Chinese so we decided to try this spot. We orders broccoli beef, sesame chicken, and Szechuan beef. We were excited driving home only to be disappointed when we started eating. The chicken in the sesame chicken was very tough and chewy, the beef in the broccoli beef was very grisly and equally tough, and the Szechuan was too hot to even eat. The add insult to injury, I paid $6 extra for the beef due to COVID to get beef I didn't want to eat. Lastly the rice was much to sticky to eat. I had high hopes to find a good Chinese spot, this isn't it.

Kevin K.

Yelp
Great food and they give you a lot of food. Delivery time is average 30min- 1hour during busy times

Yelp
I was curious about this place and finally got a chance to come eat here. I've found that most hole-in-the-wall places are hidden gems. Upon entry I was greeted and seated right away. My drink order was taken and immediately brought to my table. Looking at the menu, it was hard to decide what to order. So many possibilities! I started with calamari. It was fresh, hot and delicious. Cooked to perfection in a tempura batter and served with a spicy, sweet sauce. Once I ordered a dish, egg drop soup was brought to the table. This was the first time I've had this soup with green peas added. It was very tasty indeed. I ordered the Mongolian barbeque. It was served with steamed white rice. I enjoyed the meal. The service was wonderful. I will definitely be back with friends.

Shailyn S.

Yelp
the pot stickers were amazing but $80 for 2 entrees, 2 appetizers, and 2 sodas is INSANE. It's good but not that good. i personally would not be coming here again for dinner.
google avatar

Jess M.

Yelp
Very good. Wasn't sure what to expect, but it takes like beef with a bbq teriyaki flavor.
google avatar

Sarah J.

Yelp
When we moved here from Portland we were prepared to have some trouble finding a good Chinese go-to. After a year of searching we happened upon this place! Their family meal for 2 people is plentiful enough for my husband and I to have 2 dinners each, and the egg rolls are simply some of the best I've had. Now it's definitely American Chinese food (I lived in China for a short time) but if you like the usual American Chinese food you find here, choose Oriental Garden! Their crab Rangoon is also some of the best I have had. Today we added the potstickers, which I think would actually be better steamed instead of fried like we got. Here's a pic of most of what you get with the family special +potstickers!

Cayce B.

Yelp
Sesame chicken and crab rangoon was amazing. Food portions are huge. You can totally share with another person. Cute little place definitely will be going back

Yelp
I had a depressing 24 hour CQ shift and wanted to be blessed with some decent food. But it was 1 in the morning and Sicily's pizza sounded pretty damn depressing. This Chinese place delivered. They STOP delivery at 130AM. I ordered some Kung Papo Shrimp with vegetable fried rice. It was honestly great. Tasted like genuine Chinese food. Wasn't dirty or oily. Food was clean. Hit the spot really. Only reason why I wouldn't give it 5 stars is the cost was $28 which was pretty hefty. I'm not complaining all to much due to it was delivery and a large portion. Das all.
google avatar

Jae C.

Yelp
The outside looks old and difficult to find but the food here is amazing. I missed eating black bean noodles and seafood noodles from Korean-Chinese restaurants. Ive been looking for a place since after the Noodle world burnt down closed for the business for a while. I finally found a replacement!! They have delicious sweet and sour pork too. The owner lady was very friendly and attentive. They open til later time and it worked well with my work schedule! I can't wait to stuff myself with delicious Chinese food here again!
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Out of all the places that make this dish in Anchorage, their kung pao chicken is my favorite. Once in a while, I'll add in potstickers to my order. It does take extra time for the pick up orders, but I don't mind waiting.

Andy M.

Yelp
I'm from jersey, and not a single place in this state makes fried rice as good as them that reminds me of home. Everyone else makes it I don't know too soft or too burnt. Nah son they got it going down over there.
google avatar

Jenny C.

Yelp
This restaurant is underrated! On a Friday night we ordered pick up and waited 45 minutes for it to be ready. Worth the wait! I got the tofu wok with spicy teriyaki sauce. My husband asked on the phone if it came with vegetables and the women said she didn't know (it didn't). However it was very filling and the spice was perfect. My husband ordered a bento box and said it was good as well. Our friend got the general tso and he said it was amazing and filling. This is our new go to place!
google avatar

Kylie C.

Yelp
I called to place an online order not knowing they Only deliver to the east side of town. Luckily I was slap dab in the middle so I drove to get my order. The women who took my order and who I met when I arrived to pick up, was very enthusiastic and chill. I felt very comfortable with how I was greeted and the atmosphere. The food wasn't quite ready so she offered to bring it to my car, which I thought was very sweet. I feel very positive about this interaction and I will be back:) P.s the Inside has a very nice decor but it was a tad bit cold. If you were to do indoor dining I suggest wearing a long sleeve.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but that's what makes this hidden gem so GREAT! I've been here multiple times and has proven consistency and BIG portions! Lets get to the fun stuff! We first received a cup of egg drop soup that comes with a purchase of an entree; Warm and thick with chopped up carrots and peas made this an excellent pre appetizer. Next was our perfectly salted edemame, conveniently priced at $3.50 which is a steal for how much they give you! Like our previous visit, it was freshly steamed, still being warm halfway into the bowl. Oriental food isn't oriental food unless you share it with the table, right!? Main course! The Broccoli beef & General Tao combo boasted both sweet and savory flavors, making it rain on my taste buds! The chicken was lightly breaded, crispy, with a tender white center. They paired it with chicken fried rice & an egg roll that was easily overshadowed by the authentic oriental fireworks going off in my mouth. Orange chicken was gently tossed in a mandarin orange glaze that did not disappoint! Chicken, was again cooked to perfection, topped with mandarin oranges, and accompanied by plain white rice that balanced out the dish oh so delightfully! Our server has been Yer on more than one occasion and she has always been extremely friendly, informative, and super fast! She is an excellent asset to this place. All in all, I love this place, but don't take my word for it...try it, then yelp about it! *protip1* They offer a Groupon from time to time, although I frequent even when they don't. ;) *protip2* Kitchen stays open until 12am! Happy yelping! :)

Yelp
I have been eyeing this place for quite some time trying to search for a Chinese cuisine in town unfortunately a lot of the food restaurants have horrible reviews and it's a hit or miss and a risk that you have to take in order to find out for yourself if the food is worth eating. I walked in on Wednesday evening I was literally the third customer there and I was only served hot tea in the 35 minutes I was waiting I never got to order I saw the really bad negative reviews about how long they take to serve you your food I never even got past being asked about what I wanted to order. Don't waste your time energy or money going to this place you're better off hitting a Panda Express hate to say it that's what I was trying to avoid the phone would not stop ringing off the hook and the lady instead of being courteous to the customers she did have in her establishment preferred to answer calls and blatantly lied about delivery times I heard her say one hour and a half to two hours to even one hour . Sucks I would've loved ti return to this place thumbs down all the way .../ as I walked out all she said was sorry didn't even acknowledge the fact that she should've been serving the customers she actually had there already
