Best Phoenix Breakfast Restaurants | Eater Phoenix

"Go-to breakfast dishes get an unexpected twist at Original Breakfast House, where French toast is deep fried, eggs Benedict is topped with soul-warming birria, and pop-tarts are made fresh. However, the traditional chicken fried chicken served with eggs and French toast remains one of its best-loved dishes. Diners also enjoy the restaurant’s laidback, beachy atmosphere that’s as inviting as its playful menu." - Jamie Phillis

We have been here several times and every time this has been a BIG win for breakfast. Their menu has so many options. The food comes out fast and delicious. The service is always friendly and observant/ attentive. This is a CASH ONLY place but there is an atm right there in the building. No, don't worry, there are no crazy atm fees. Its just a perfect little Hawaii themed breakfast stop which will be a great start to your day.

Google
This place is an absolute vibe! Decorated in vintage surf style, with the owner wearing a Hawaiian shirt, greeting people at the door. The service was impeccable by all on the floor. The food was as advertised, and was DELICIOUS! I ordered the key lime pancakes and my son had a short stack of classic pancakes. If I was a Phoenix resident, this would be my spot. Highly recommend

Google
Visiting from Indiana and this was a recommended must. Extremely friendly with some of the best food I have had in a very long time! My wife had the El Pastor Hash and I had the Chorizo Burrito. Food was fresh and was of very large portions. Neither one of us finished our meals. Our waitress Molly was awesome!

Google
This breakfast spot was fantastic! It has a great surfer vibe and the food was even better. We found it on TikTok, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We tried the French toast and a fully loaded breakfast sandwich, both were excellent. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the doorman made us feel right at home. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast when you’re in Phoenix!

Google

Great service all around. Thanks y'all for an amazing breakfast we will be back to try it all. 🌈🍄❤️ Heads up it's cash only and there is a no fee ATM on site 🙏

Google
What a find! We will definitely be back, even drive from South mountain for this place. I ordered eggs with meat and chose a scone. OmG. Eggs cooked perfectly, potatoes seasoned just right. He ordered the French toast breakfast and it was so delicious. Service was friendly and fast. Owner was there and checked on his patrons, which is always a nice touch. Thank you and see you again soon!

Google
Came to original breakfast house while visiting Phoenix and we came back the next day as well because it was so good. We tried al pastor hash, Hawaiian pancakes, steak and eggs, chicken fried chicken and the Guadalajara eggs Benedict. Every single dish was delicious. This is a new fam favorite. Cash only and usually about a 20 min wait. A must while in Phoenix.

Google
This has got to be the best French toast in America. I have travelled over most of America and I haven’t ever had French toast this delicious. The staff is fast and friendly. Also I’m a Miami dolphins fan and they have a dolphins helmet in the restaurant. This place makes me feel welcome. If could give more stars and higher praise, I would.

Yelp
This spot is a must for breakfast fans! My friend and I stopped here a few weeks ago after it being recommended by several people. I ordered the chicken tinga omelette and it was absolutely incredible. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the omelette was stuffed to the brim. I also really enjoyed the side of hash browns. My friend really enjoyed her meal as well and we both agreed that this would be a place we return to. Do note that they are cash only!!

Yelp
Honestly it was 3.5 - rounded up because of the great phone service and we didn't get a chance to eat til 30mins later. 5/5 - Great phone service and to go order!!! Mainly the food (note it was about 30mins after we picked up that we were able to eat). - 2.5/5 avocado toast was okay but it was about 30mins - my friend at and said it was okay.. didn't look appetizing after 30mins - 4/5 egg white scrambled was good lots of flavor - 2.5/5 cali burrito was pretty average maybe needed a salsa or something - 4/5 - french toast...nicely fried - 3.5/5 fruit parfait It was pretty busy so popular place and maybe the food would be better fresh. Nothing spectacular about the food except maybe the fried french toast.

Yelp
I have been to Original Breakfast House many times, and I have had a great experience every time. Sometimes I have come by myself, while other times I have come here with some of my closest friends. When I was looking at some of the best breakfast restaurants in the Phoenix area, Original Breakfast House was on the list. Thus, I decided to try it out. The owner, John, is a fantastic gentleman who cares about everyone having a great experience in his restaurant. Every time I walked up to the building, he was there to greet me with a warm smile. When I asked him if they had ATMs, since the establishment was cash-only, he directed me to where they could be found within the building. One of the ATMs is found to the right once you enter the building, and another is found near the restrooms in the back. The other staff members are great as well. They are always helpful and ensure you have everything you need, offering anything extra if you need it. The food is fantastic. One of my favorite items on their menu is their El Paso omelette. It is one of the best omelettes I have ever had. Everything tastes fresh, and the omelette is full of flavor. I also like their hash browns, fresh, fluffy biscuits, and their drink selection. Another omelette I like is the Popeye omelette. I also like how delicious their baked goods at the front of the restaurant look once you enter. Next time I stop by, I will have to make sure I give them a try. I also appreciate the pleasant atmosphere. It is a nice classic diner atmosphere that takes you back in time. The ATMs also do not have any fees, which is a huge bonus. If anyone is looking for a great breakfast place to kick-start their day, Original Breakfast House is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Yelp
If you have not the pleasure of OBH for breakfast or lunch you are missing out. A couple of rules: It's cash only/ relax they have an ATM or Venmo No credit cards or debit cards. Next what ever you order will be great. From the chicken Tinga Omelette to the pancakes . On the is visit steak with chimichurri sauce special eggs my way and choice of potatoes. To my partners sirloin and eggs Benedict with hash browns . They use Noble bread and everything else is old school. We did something different and started with a yogurt , asstd berries, and cinnamon granola .the portion was huge! We split it. This place will ruin you in comparison to other places. It's always delicious . Shout out to Molly who did a wonderful job of serving us!5 stars,

Yelp
Back to try the French toast, which is definitely very good. Its deep Fried and crispy in an unusual preparation. The butter and syrup work perfectly. Only negative is $4.25 seems a bit excessive for coffee, but it was good.
google avatar

Yelp
The OBH is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Arizona. On the weekends you will notice that there is typically a wait which lets you know just how good it is as it is worth the wait!! Every time I've gone for either breakfast or lunch, I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. I usually purchase a couple of pastry items to go on my way out as well. The homemade pop tarts and lavender scones are my favorites. The sign outside says it all; "Aloha." This is a good way to describe the interior & vibe. The are servers extremely busy but always ready to take care of your needs. I wish I lived closer because I would be at OBH every week.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that the service was amazing as soon as we put our name on the list. Friendly people. We waited about 20 minutes which wasn't bad at all considering how packed this place gets. Our server Pam was absolutely delightful she had a genuine smile. The food came out at the right speed and nice and hot. The absolutely only miss here was the pancakes. Seems like they may have sat out a little too long but everything else was delicious. The gravy for the biscuits was spot on. The omelette was fluffy and packed with flavor. Will be back when I'm back in the PHX. Remember it gets busy on the weekends so get there early or at least be patient.

Yelp
This place is so great! Yelp Squad ty for guiding us to this delightful destination for our final meal before heading back to Vegas. As we walked in we were greeted by a smiling gentleman who directed us to the hostess stand where an equally wonderful young hostess lead us to a table immediately. Almost instantly our incredible server Danielle appeared like magic with water and menus and asked for our drink order. They offer FRESH SQUEEZED OJ which my husband got and he couldn't even remember when the last time he had fresh OJ bc you never come across this special delight. My hubby got the Loco Moco off the Specials menu. I got the 5 egg white omelette, upgraded to fruit instead of potatoes to save a few carbs & calories for an in house made cinnamon roll for the road. My husband devoured his meal. He's Filipino and knows his rice which would be his only complaint. It was more Uncle Ben's style rice not jasmine or what you would traditionally get with any island style dish. But it didn't stop him from clearing his plate lol. Eggs, gravy and battered and fried onion slices (like a blooming onion from Outback) on top were all cooked perfectly and the dish came with a yummy slice of fresh pineapple. My omelette was nice & hot and everything came out just as I ordered it. Veggies fruit and avocado were all very fresh. I made my own avocado toast by smashing it up and spreading it on my unbuttered english muffin...yum! The cinnamon roll made it about 1/2 through the 4.5 hour drive back to Vegas then I cracked and devoured it. Worth every calorie my friends! There were a few other in house baked goods like the homemade pop tart, chocolate croissant and daily muffins. This girl loves some cream cheese frosting and I don't splurge often but when I do....there WILL be frosting involved. We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about our meal and experience @ OEB and will certainly come back if we're in the Scottsdale. BTW folks-they mean it when they say CASH ONLY. I watched a table sit and get right back up and leave bc they didn't have cash and heard some people @ the front door trying yo figure out if they had enough cash to cover their meals before going in. There is a free ATM but CC are NOT ACCEPTED. Get cash....come here...worth the trip to the bank for cash

Yelp
Nice clean restaurant. Nice friendly service. Food is good. It's a cash only business. It's busy but not too loud.

Yelp
One of the best breakfast spots in Phoenix, no question. The food is always solid -- big portions, great flavor, and comes out fast. Super reasonable prices, free refills on soda. Staff is friendly, the vibe is upbeat, and you can tell they actually care. Feels like a place that's doing it right.

Yelp
Such a Phoenix brunch staple! Original Breakfast House is a popular spot for classic American, Southwestern, and Hawaiian breakfast dishes. The owner is friendly and comes around check in on customers. Some entrées that we have loved include Chilaquiles, breakfast enchiladas, omelets, pancakes, and French toast. The vibe is very cozy and casual with surf and ocean inspired decor. Seating includes booths and tables. Good to know: - cash only! An atm is available - no reservations. Service is speedy so waits are quicker then they appear based on the number of people waiting. For shorter wait times, come on a weekday or outside peak brunch hours on weekends.

Yelp
Stopped by for breakfast/lunch with my fam bam after we left the Great Wolf Lodge - we love this place! The service is always good and love the ambiance/vibe in here! The owner is amazing and so sweet! There is always a wait here when we come around 20-30 minutes each time. But it is definitely worth it, the food is amazingly yummy! This time I got a shirt from them. I will definitely rep them because they are so good! I got the biscuits and gravy with potatoes and onions with a side of Bacon. My son got chicken strips and fries and my man got crispy carnitas and avocado omelette with a side of pancakes. We all loved what we got, sooo good! The price is not terribly bad either, for us 3 we spent $85.00 including a $15 tip. We definitely will be back, we love it here!

Yelp
Really great food, biscuits were out of this world. Big Gooey Scrambler was delicious. Service by Alix was fantastic.

Yelp
My husband and I ate here on a Sunday morning recently. He ordered the chicken and waffle and I ordered the OBH avocado toast with a side of cheese grits. My avocado toast was really good once I added a little salt and pepper. My husband said that the chicken and waffle was the worst he's ever had. The reason it was the worst is because he said that it tasted like frozen chicken patties that had been heated up. The service was good and our waitress was attentive. The ambiance of this place gives mom and pop vibes which I tend to like. While this is only my second time visiting and didn't have the best experience the second time around, I'm not opposed to trying this place out one more time..... maybe we just won't order the chicken and waffle again.

Yelp
Straight from the airport, my boyfriend and I drove here before our scheduled tour at Taliesin West. Located in an unassuming empty shopping plaza, we found our destination and walked in with weary expectations. But as we've been taught as kids, never judge a book by its cover. We were quickly greeted and welcomed inside where they sat us in a booth. Our waitress was extremely busy but was incredibly attentive throughout our whole dining experience. We ordered breakfast family style and split a couple of items. We ordered the Brioche Cinnamon roll, the Bananas Foster French Toast, and the Al pastor hash. We started with the cinnamon roll which wasn't my favorite since it was doughier than what I'd prefer but wasn't too bad. The french toast was great but would have prefered if they had real maple syrup instead of a blend of syrups. It was a bit overly sweet for me (which is insane for me to say since I love sweets). The star of our breakfast and the thing we fought over who would get the last bite was the Al Pastor Hash. We were a bit skeptical about the al pastor as we're used to really good ones in California but this blew our minds. It had perfectly charred pineapple and amazing pieces of the al pastor throughout the dish. Incredibly balanced! Would definitely recommend and worth returning for.

Sue ..

Yelp
Best orange juice I have ever had. I got scrambles eggs and link sausage. We got a cinnamon roll to share. The link sausage was also one of the best I have ever had. Eggs were really good. We had to wait in line for 20 minutes expected for such a food place. I would say one of the best breakfast I have ever had. Service is also on point. Very nice.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a classic American diner offering reimagined classics such as deep-fried French toast & Spam & eggs with an island vibe! I love it since I love Hawaii. The decorations are funky and fun. Our server was on it and over us. Thank you for much for making our visit fun. I got Hog Heaven Omelette (Bacon, sausage, ham, ond melted cheddar cheese). It was A LOT of yummy food! The owner even visited our table. Reminder: Cash only!
google avatar

Rella D.

Yelp
45 minute wait, the estimate was on point. They have a shaded waiting area with live entertainment at the time that we came. Brah theme/ semi Hawaii then atmosphere. This establishment is cash only Greeted at our table within 4 minutes, took our drink order. Drink order came quickly. Food came out oin about 10 minutes. Was gonna order one of their infamous cinnamon rolls to take home but we were given the bill before we had a chance to order. Was never asked if we wanted anything else. It seemed like they just wanted to turn over tables because they had a wait... Minus a star for that Banana fosters French toast... Just French toast topped with sliced bananas. No biscuits or sides not dry. Nice caramelized ends on the crust. 16.50 Shrimp and grits.. delicious!! Bacon, shrimp, Bell peppers. Poached egg. Perfect combination with whatever the sauce was. Came with a biscuit, seemed home made. It was Rubbery on the outside. The strawberry jelly may have been home made too but it was very thin and watery. Popeye omelette. Large portion. Came with toast. Potatoes were dry Orange juice was a very thick pulpy oj if you like that. May have been fresh squeezed.

Yelp
Tried something new! The Cubana! Ordered a gluten free bun and drop the Milanesa Beef (it's breaded) and made a sandwich! So much meat!!! The eggs with chorizo were fabulous and I'm not a huge fan of either with the added all beef spilt grilled hot dog there was an awesome mix of meats... it made a fantastic breakfast sandwich and came with a side of fries. I was able to order a second bun and a side of pickles to make a second sandwich to go... We live this place and drive from across town to enjoy it occasionally!

Yelp
Original Breakfast House or OBH for short.... IS the place to go if you're traveling, visiting, or living in Phoenix, AZ! We reside in California, but had taken a road trip to Arizona and I'm always on the hunt for a new and exciting breakfast place, especially during travels. Let me tell you, this restaurant doesn't disappoint! It's uniquely themed to seem like you're on the beach. It has a very laid back vibe. The food is absolutely delicious and we had NO complaints about our dishes!! The only cons I can think of is that per our last visit, they were a cash only establishment. Keep that in mind ahead of time as to not feel upset by this. Delicious, delicious! Bookmark this location today!
google avatar

Yelp
I love the original breakfast house! The owner is such a sweet man who greets each guest with a warm welcome! What stands out at this small breakfast house, is the service and cleanliness! The food is outstanding, and the cinnamon rolls are soft and delicious! A must. Coffee is amazing, which is must for breakfast! 1000% recommend! Aloha No food pics because we had our 2 year old granddaughter with us.. lol attention was on her, and honestly, we just enjoyed the food so much, I forgot to snap a few pics. (Next time!)
google avatar

Yelp
***CASH ONLY*** They do have a no fee atm on site. Breakfast and lunch options. No kids meals. Service was friendly and fast. Ambiance was casual. They were busy. Be prepared to wait especially on a Sunday since they're located in a church parking lot. Food was just ok. It was greasy and did not agree with my husband and I. Let's just say we raced home and were grateful we have two bathrooms. We won't be back but we're glad we tried it because now we know.

Mila G.

Yelp
Amazing food Fabulous service Probably the best breakfast I've ever had. Overall everything is right about this place.
google avatar

Yasmin T.

Yelp
Got here early on a Saturday morning and thankfully so as it started getting busy as soon as we were leaving around 8! This place is awesome. We were seated right away and the service was impeccable from start to finish. We both got fresh squeezed orange juice that was amazing. The chilaquiles were good I do wish they had a little more spice/flavor to them. The banana fosters French toast was out of this world- not normally a sweet breakfast kinda gal but insisted we get these and I'm so glad we did. We also got the chicken fried steak and wow it had the best gravy ever and was cooked perfectly would get this a million times over I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

Yelp
While vacationing in Scottsdale, I Yelp'd best breakfast near me. Original Breakfast House came up and made the 10 mile drive. I am sure glad I did!! Met the owner John. He runs a heck of a great breakfast establishment. There's no surprise. He's earned one of the best small business owners in the United States recognition. The food is so good. Had the best Eggs Benedict and Biscuits and Sausage Gravy.

Silvia J.

Yelp
I'm a big breakfast person, and wow this place is amazing ! My husband and I loved it and of course the kids loved at as well. Everyone was so attentive and provided great service over all. It really gave me childhood nostalgic memory vibes and I love sharing moments at places like this with my family!
google avatar

Maria Monica M.

Yelp
On 4th of July we had just a 5 minute wait and it was worth it! We were seated and greeted by several workers before our order was taken. It was a busy morning, however, all the staff worked very well together. A table of four was quickly set up to accommodate a family of six. Portions are good sized and prices are reasonable. My husband and I split the Popeye omelette and we shared an order of the cinnamon roll pancakes. Our request for crispy, hashbrowns, and extra toasted English muffin were served exactly as ordered. Pico de gallo was served upon request. Their customer service is the best. It's no wonder this place is so busy.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has good reviews so I gave it a try. Welcomed by some eclectic decor and a big box of pastries at the front hostess station. The cinnamon rolls looked incredible, but also off limits for me. I was greeted and seated the the server quickly brought coffee and flavored creamer, which I appreciated. The menu had lots of interesting dishes but I went with the five egg white omelette with, iirc, mushrooms, spinach, pepper jack cheese, avocado and pica de gallo. Also a side of cheesy grits, and some wheat toast which came with butter and jelly. The omelette was ok, but the cheesy grits were a bit odd. And the toast was overdone. There was a lot of food. And I left it behind. I likely only ate half of everything because the omelette didn't inspire, the grits had an odd textures, the bread was burnt and coffee just a bit blah. Perhaps I should have chosen differently. There's lots of cool things on the menu that could be worth a second trip, but I think it's better to go elsewhere.
google avatar

Rhonda D.

Yelp
I overall enjoyed my meal here. We visited on a Wednesday morning and were seated immediately. AJ provided attentive service throughout our meal. I loved the Hawaiian surfer theme--they really embrace the ALOHA vibe with their uniforms and decor. While the menu only features a few Hawaiian-inspired dishes, like loco moco, it adds to the ambiance. The banana brûlée oatmeal was decent but could use improvement; I found it a bit thin and lacking flavor. A touch of spice or citrus would enhance it. I really enjoyed my savory crepe; the crepe itself and the filling were fantastic. However, the sauce on top was bland, so I scraped it off and added some of my husband's sausage gravy for extra flavor. One odd thing: the restaurant is cash-only, which makes me wonder if it's a front for something shady. Just kidding... mostly. Overall, I'd rate this place a 3.5. A 3 feels unfair, while a 4 seems a bit generous.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Excited to try this place as it had really good yelp reviews! We were seated and looking at the menu when the dreaded cash only was written on the menu, after a little stress the waitress told us they accept Zelle so we stayed but wow cash only in 2025 is wild!! The prices seems really high for a diner but we still stayed but were a little sceptical! Our food came and sadly it was just average at best! My hash browns were cooked all the way in the middle and the chilie verde in my omelet was a little old tasting! One big positive was they had a CA favorite of ours the pepper plant hot cause which was awesome to see! The restaurant was kept clean and the service was just ok! Probably wouldn't return I'd back in town or recommend! I'm sure there are better and more affordable options in town!
google avatar

Yelp
Really undecided about this place. Very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. They seat you fast, recommend food, you order and you blink of eye your food appears. Now the food was great will return. Cash only
google avatar

Will R.

Yelp
The place has a old school look to it on the inside. Waitstaff was nice and pretty quick to get drinks. The menu had some interesting items and names. I went with the basic eggs, hashbrowns and sausage. They were nice enough to make my hash browns well done like I like them. We were a group of 5 with no complaints. Cash only place. Pay at the register. They have little buckets by name for the tips for waitstaff. I've been to better breakfast places, but this one is nice.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not a huge breakfast person but when traveling it's a necessity. I haven't been this impressed with a breakfast spot in I couldn't tell you how long. Our server Daniele is one to remember and if you get to sit with her there in no doubt that you won't have a good experience. We got a whole lot of food for the price but I could be biased because I'm used to small east coast plates for a whole lot more cash. The grits are the best I have ever had. The egg scramble was wonderful, not too heavy and that damn home made biscuit made my day. Thank you original breakfast house!
google avatar

Reba G.

Yelp
This place is cash only, but they do have an atm on site. Thanks to yelp, I found this little gem in Phoenix. The staff here are extremely friendly, and our wait time was maybe 5 minutes. The server recommended the egg Benedict with el pastor. I ordered a side of hash brown extra crispy. This meal was one of the best meals I've had for breakfast in a long time. The meat was tender and flavored really well, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. I recommend this place if you're looking for a brunch spot. They do have a counter of pastries as well. My sister ordered the banana Nutella crepe, and it was really good as well.
google avatar

Tonisha C.

Yelp
Overall a good experience. I had their famous chicken fried chicken that also cokes with a slice of french toast and two eggs. The french toast was the highlight of the dish. Cash only with an ATM on-site. The service was good. The lighting seemed a little low, but it wasn't too dark.
google avatar

Krystal S.

Yelp
We were actually visiting from out of town and decided to try it out. My husband and I shared the chicken fried chicken but we both agreed it didn't taste good. It had a somewhat sour taste to it. I'm not sure if it's from the gravy or the breading or the chicken itself but I couldn't eat anymore. The French toast was really good and I would probably give the restaurant another try and order something else.
google avatar

Kiki L.

Yelp
Been eating here for 14 years it's amazing my favorite breakfast spot in the valley. The homes fries and French toast are so good. Fresh OJ and bacon always make me happy. Bring cash!
google avatar

Erin K.

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed breakfast here recently and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious! They have so many unique options. We did wait a bit but that is to be expected here- so plan accordingly. Everyone who works there is invited friendly! We will definitely be back to try more amazing food.

Yelp
Hawaii meets Arizona at this groovy breakfast spot! The Original Breakfast House has a laid back vibe while offering unlimited options for your first meal of the day. My favorites are their Big Gooey Scrambled Mess & Custom Omelets. No matter what dish, I go for their Homemade Biscuits & Potatoes on the side. Highly Recommend these as your side option! I've frequently this diner over 10 times & now go for their daily specials. Each time they have something different & delicious. Bring an empty stomach, bring your cash (they do not take card), & bring your friends because this will be your new favorite breakfast spot in Phoenix!
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. We waited outside for about 30min. It was HOT... but we were entertained by a local guitarist. Suggestion... place a mist fan outside to keep customers cool. Once seated the wait staff were friendly and quick with getting our order in and food out! The food was yummy and just what we were looking for in a pancake house. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The grits and omelets were amazing! Now the coffee... I was really looking forward to a nice cup of Joe. However, it was weak. It was watery. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice neighborhood diner. But first let them get the coffee grinder right!!! Oh and this is a cash only establishment so bring cash or use their ATM (no fee).
google avatar

Brendan N.

Yelp
OBH has been our favourite breakfast restaurant when we are in Phoenix. The last time being 7 years ago. Has things changed? The restaurant itself is as unique as before. The staff as good and the cooks as well. We just felt the portions were smaller and the wow factor was less than before. Other than that, it is still a great place for breakfast.
google avatar

Samantha A.

Yelp
Always delicious. Always friendly. They are known for their French toast. It is simply divine, with a hint of orange & vanilla. Tried the key lime pie pancakes also; they came with graham cracker crumble, a blackberry syrup and blackberries, very good. Also tried the big gooey scrambled eggs mess. Which looks just like it sounds, and is chock full of ingredients; sausage, cheese, potatoes, mushrooms. They have fresh squeezed orange juice, and their iced coffee drinks are tasty. I love this place, everyone is always so friendly and the service is on point, the food came out fast. The food is consistently good. They have plenty of parking. It is CASH ONLY, but there's an ATM inside. Check them out.

Only one place I like better, than OBH. And I won't mention them, here. This place has amazing food, service & I love the California beach, decora. I feel like I'm in Southern ca. back in the early 70's, when I come here. These guys are always busy. And if you visit them, you'll understand. The omelets are always amazing, and their homemade pop tarts, will make you stick your tongue out, at store-bought pop tarts. And their cinnamon rolls compete easily, with the ones, sold, at the Cinnabon stores. If you do go to OBH, make sure you ask to be seated, in Sarah's area. She's not only beautiful. She's as sweet a server, as you'll find on this planet. Once you go, you'll wonder why it took you so long, before you did. Very, very comfortable & homey.

Yelp
Returned with phoenix family for second time for a great breakfast on a Friday mid morning. Waited for only a short time on the shaded large covered outdoor patio for Dave the Hawaiian shirted front" man host to call us to be seated . We had basically the same orders as previous visit , Benedict , chicken fried steak , big scramble w Birria extra topping ( I could not finish it took home) & young granddaughter had big kids hamburger on Brioche bun w fries , plus added the coconut " Hawaiian pancake to share . All very good , we returned to enjoy the whole experience. The service is very good and efficient . The surf /beach decor is fun like visiting San Diego . There's a small counter , old working jukebox , & surfboards hanging all over . The booths very comfortable. I assume the lunch items great too . I'll ( we will ) be back !

Yelp
A good ol' fashioned breakfast with some good ol' fashioned service! A smile never goes out of style. ;) Cash only so there is some good ol' fashioned style of taking payment as well. Portions are good so you may consider sharing depending on your appetite. The deep fried French toast takes you to the fair without the fair prices! - a must try. Aloha vibes adorn this establishment.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday morning at the place was already so full. The wait was about 45 minutes but they have covered seating outside for people to wait. They also has a live guitar player to help entertain the loads of people waiting. Once getting inside it was pretty hectic with people talking and a steady flow of people and food. We got the tamales eggs Benedict which had good flavors but the texture was very mushy and didn't have anyone to break up the texture. The biscuits and gravy were good but needed a little more salt. The chicken and french toast was definitely the fan favorite of the table. The cinmabun was good but which it came out warm. Overall it was a good experience and would go if u like traditional breakfast food, but probably wouldn't go through the long wait again.
