Really enjoyed celebrating my 25th birthday here. When we arrived for our 8:15 booking there was a long queue and a delay to seat us - which wasn’t ideal because we had to wait outside in the cold. However once we were sat down service was good and the food was really good! Between 4 people we shared 2x Nori Focaccia, 3 plates of different sashimi, 3 pasta dishes, 2 meat dishes and 3 vegetable dishes. We finished with dessert, and the matcha ice cream was amazing! Highly recommend the special pasta which is the tagliolini with tuna and fish roe - wow! The chicken is also delicious, it’s piri piri style and really tasty. Also the onion and cheese side was amazing too. Would highly recommend for a special occasion!

I came to Osteria Angelina quite excited after seeing several recommendations on social media, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. As soon as we sat down, the waitress apart from having an attitude was rushing us to order, returning multiple times even though we had only been there for a few minutes. After placing our order, she insisted that we add more food. At first, I thought she was simply being attentive, so I politely said that we were happy with our selection and would order more if needed (for clarification: we ordered four dishes for two people, and we were planning to have dessert afterwards). Her attitude immediately changed and kept insisting using a rather negative and even judgy tone. The situation was quite uncomfortable as she stood by our table staring at us? I found it completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Since when the waitress decides how much food a guest should order? After dining in so many restaurants, I have never encountered such treatment. Things can be said with respect! Ironically enough the menu even says “There is no right way to order.” Although I enjoyed the food, the service completely ruined the experience. For £50/pp, there are many places in London where you can enjoy a great meal and be treated decently. I probably should have asked to remove the 15% service charge, but honestly, I didn’t want to deal with that waitress any longer. I don’t think I will come back, very disappointing👎🏻

I've eaten here twice now and can't wait to come back again! The menu changes frequently and in the dinner I had eaten a delicious crudo fish dish that was not on the menu this October. However, they had the most amazing burrata with seaweed and orange segments instead that really blew me away! Since the menu changes often I'm not going to review each of the dishes I ate. Instead I'm going to talk about the thoughtfulness with which the menu is put together. The restaurant works with local suppliers and really use what is in season. The flavor pairings work really well and definitely do not miss out on the tortellini. Divine!! Servers are attentive and very friendly. Big dining area and not too loud so that you can still talk to your dining companion.

Had a very pleasant night at Osteria Angelina with my partner. The food definitely lived up to its expectations. The starters were excellent, but the scallops and milk bread in particular, were both a definite showstopper. Both pastas were really flavourful. Chicken was slightly on the drier side and the vegetables were too cheesy for my liking. The dessert was fabulous, we will be back to try the others. Avi and Steven provided exceptional service throughout the night. Highly recommend for a date night!

Amazing restaurant! Brilliant food with a phenomenal atmosphere. Staff where helpful, attentive and gave the some of the best service I've had in London. Definitely will be back as we couldn't eat the whole menu. Special shout-out to the Milk Bread and Scallop dish superb !

An absolute gem! Every dish was delicious! Bold umami flavours - we could definitely taste both the Italian and Japanese influences! Just 1 point which I think could be improved was that the dishes were cleared from our table too fast. We love the Italian concept of “scarpetta” - to wipe off the last remaining sauces with a piece of bread. The dishes were cleared even before we had the chance to wipe off the remaining ragu and sauces on the others dishes! Overall, loved everything about it and will definitely bring friends down!

This place is definitely overrated. I’ve been to Japan quite a few times, and I have to say I was quite disappointed here , especially with their signature Hokkaido milk bread. It was dry and not fluffy at all. The pork looked very appealing, but several pieces were dry and overcooked. I tried the special pasta with caviar, which came in an extremely small portion and was far too salty. I’m usually a big fan of caviar, so I could tell the quality wasn’t great. The prawns themselves were good quality, but they were made overly sweet, which sadly overpowered their natural flavour. The sashimi was probably the best dish of the evening. Overall, I don’t think they get the balance of flavours right, and I honestly don’t understand the hype. That said, the vibe is great , perfect for a date night or an evening out with friends. Unfortunately, the service let it down. We were asked three times in the space of ten minutes if our plates could be cleared, despite clearly not being finished.

This place had been on my list since it opened, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! Went for my birthday (a surprise from my boyfriend) and couldn’t fault a single thing. The food, ambiance and service were all flawless. Standouts were the Hokkaido Milk Bread, Hamachi Sashimi, Tortellini with Truffle & Kombu, Tagliolini with caviar, House Fries and Ikuko’s Aubergine. Huge shoutout to our waiter Abby, who was phenomenal - super friendly with perfect recommendations. Can’t wait to come back!
