As an Italian working in marketing, I noticed that the brand strongly emphasizes Italian authenticity, which doesn’t fully reflect the actual experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options and feels a bit confusing. While the idea of combining Italian and Japanese cuisine is interesting, there isn’t a clear fusion concept, rather, it’s a mix of starters, sushi, pasta, and pizza.
We shared the appetizer platter, and the tempura eggplant was definitely the highlight of the evening.
When ordering pasta, I was surprised to see egg-based options like fettuccine and tajarin. When I asked the waiter about it, they were unsure and answered without checking. This is a serious point to improve, not only for allergen awareness but also because staff should confidently know and communicate what they are serving.
The pasta itself was decent, nothing exceptional, but not bad.
On the positive side, the staff was very kind and welcoming, and the space was clean, cozy, and nicely styled with a retro feel. The concept has real potential, but in a highly competitive market like Dubai, there is room to elevate both food quality and the storytelling behind the brand.
