We went here for dinner and had a lovely time. The focaccia with ricotta and honey was wonderfully balanced, and the cacio e pepe was perfectly done. The meatballs were good, and I would be hard pressed to say how they could have been better. The only problem we encountered was one of the bombolini in the basket was almost completely uncooked. I would absolutely recommend coming here for the amazing food.

Google
What a gem! Out of the way and so beautiful! The staff is attentive but not intrusive. The food is perfect, delicious, seasoned just right. Enjoyed the polpete that had just a little spicy kick. Sunchokes and Brussels were beautifully cooked-portions were generous. Topped out off with the Torte de Pere... Chocolate with spiced Pear. Yummy cocktail that tasted like a cinnamon Christmas!! Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely Amazing! Came here for a celebration dinner and I was blown away. I wanted to have a special evening and they definitely made us feel welcomed and catered to. Our server Bianca went over and beyond with her service. She was so attentive and very helpful when it came to pairing and menu selections. The overall staff and establishment was ran so smoothly and everyone was happy and polite, you can tell this place has great management. The food was spectacular very fresh. Presentation 10/10 if you want true authentic pasta you have came to the right place.

Went there for our friend's rehearsal dinner. All dishes came out looked good. Since dinner was served family style (not served individually but served in the middle of the table) and some server did not placed food at one end, between the guest, rather than setting them where everyone can reach. All served foods were great. Drinks came very slow. Maybe smaller party is better option for service??? Will try again.

Google
Amazing experience! We chose the gnocchi and patate autunalle; both were flavorful and paired great with our focaccia. The “between the hedges” and “gentiane standard” cocktails were perfect and put a fun twist on some classic cocktails! Our server, Jordan, was awesome: Great, timely service and he was well-versed with the menu. Wonderful date night, and we were also given a special card and menu for our anniversary. The ambiance was delightful as well and with all combined, it made for a memorable anniversary date!

Google
Upscale Italian restaurant providing top notch service and delicious food. I was blown away by the attention to detail in every aspect. From service to checkout, we were constantly amazed by the hospitality of the staff. Attention to detail matters and our server was fantastic. I recommend the tiramisu for dessert. It’s a must try! The roasted carrots were deliciously crispy on the outside glazed with a wonderful sauce. The focaccia had a beautiful honey drizzle which was a delicious surprise. Don’t miss out on this amazing restaurant. I’ll definitely be back.

Google
This was absolutely the best dining experience I’ve had in a very long time!! For starters the service was spectacular! Our server Leslie was so welcoming and helpful! This was our first time here and she made sure we had a full understanding of the menu and was happy to make sure we had a wonderful experience. She was absolutely the best and so was every staff member we interacted with. The hostess Francesca was so sweet, helpful and welcoming! We were also new to the area of the restaurant and she was very helpful with directions. Our meals were the most amazing food! I highly recommend asking your server for suggestions because the suggestions we were given were the best choices we could let have made without them! Each of our meals were absolutely perfect! I’ve been to many Italian restaurants but this has absolutely become my favorite! I typically do not order desserts at a restaurant unless I’m in the mood but after looking at the dessert menu and having an amazing meal I knew I had to try something! Our server was amazing at helping us make a decision and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was so gorgeous! I felt like I was transported to Italy or some elite city! From the decor and the vibe of the restaurant you’ll fall in love with the place just stepping foot onto the grounds! I highly recommend for you to visit this restaurant as soon as posible if you want to fall in love with food again! I was so blown away!

Google
Was told about Osteria Olio as being one of the best restaurants in Athens, so naturally we had to try it! The weather was nice so we sat outside. The service was attentive but apparently we weren’t so attentive since we were next to a table that was *really* into the game that was being shown on the patio tv. A few jump scares later, we settled in so we could focus on each other, lol But back to what you care about. The food! Highly recommend the focaccia - it comes with an olive oil drizzle as all focaccia should, but they took it a step further and served it with a honey drizzle and whipped sweet ricotta. I’ve got a new favorite way to have focaccia! The olives and cheese are also a must. Don’t sleep on these cause the flavors are surprisingly big and you’ll want a second plate. My wife got the Fusili pasta and I went with the Cacio e Pepe. Really pleased with both, even brought some home for a later snack. It was nice to see half bottle options, since my wife and I don’t drink that much. We ended the evening with their bombolini dessert a perfect way to close out. Great service, tasty food, pleasant evening overall! Lived up to the hype for me

Yelp
My husband and I went last night, our first time The service was impeccable. Everyone we spoke to had great knowledge on wines and menu offerings The food was wonderful, well prepared, plated, hot and tasty The space was beautiful. Very well decorated and comfortable. The assist manager gave us a tour of event space and hotel after dinner. She was very knowledgeable We will go again next time we're in town‼

Yelp
NYC prices with Athens service! Overpriced, lame service and mediocre food. Friends took me to this place last night for my birthday. I had already been about four times before and had determined that I was never going back after my last experience. Well, this one was even worse. Maybe some of the worst service ever. The restaurant was half full, and 80% of the clientele were sorority girls. Nothing against them but I remember the first time I went there when it first opened and it was full of townies. We waited literally almost 30 minutes for our drinks. Finally we had to go find a manager. We were told that they were out of one of the liquors so instead of sending one of their lame bartenders over to ask if we had a second choice we sat there for 30 minutes. The food is so overpriced. And honestly? I make better food at home. They have all these cute, nice looking folks serving the food and they're a little matching aprons, but they seriously lack any sense of urgency or attention. Not only will I never go back to this restaurant, I'm going to make sure that all my friends know not to go there. But judging from the current clientele, I think most people have gotten the word that this place is not worth the money. Oh, and at the end of the evening, their valet parking app didn't work. My friend spend a lot of money in restaurants, and as we left they said they would never go back there either. You have been warned!

Yelp
I've been to Osteria Olio three times in the past six weeks -- my daughter loves this place, and the food is always excellent. Unfortunately, the service on our most recent visit was so slow and disorganized that it really detracted from the experience. Our reservation was at 7:30 PM. My wife's wine came promptly, but my mixed drink didn't arrive until 7:50. Appetizers came out relatively quickly, but after that, our server disappeared for about 20 minutes -- no check-in, no update on our mains, and empty glasses. When she finally came by, she mentioned she was just then putting in our entrée order -- even though our appetizers had already been cleared at 8:15 and we'd said we were hungry. The mains didn't arrive until 8:50, despite the dining room being only about half full. What made it worse was the lack of urgency or awareness. When I finally asked her to check on our order, she wandered to another table first, then to the kitchen, and never came back with an update until I flagged her down again. No apology, no acknowledgment of the delay. Don't get me wrong -- the food and ambiance are top-notch, and in past visits, the servers' attentiveness made up for slower pacing. But this time, the lack of care from the staff really stood out and soured the evening. I'll continue to recommend Osteria Olio for the food -- just with a caveat that service can be painfully slow.

Yelp
Service was impeccable! I was staying at the Revit hotel and decided to have dinner at the connected restaurant. The entire staff was friendly and professional. I got the half chicken, a few glasses of wine, and the olive oil cake dessert. Everything was delicious. Very cute atmosphere and I'd like to come back to sit outside on a warmer night.

Yelp
I just love it here. Such a nice restaurant with amazing staff and lovely interior and vibes. My friends and I split a few things like the bread, arancini, meatballs, and crispy potatoes. My other friends split one of the pastas and pizzas. They did say that their pasta was kind of cold and the pizza was just okay, but I won't let that change my review because I didn't eat it. Definitely order the meatballs and the arancini. Our waitress was also so amazing a sweet and brought us a free dessert (the fried beignet/donut hybrid was insanely good) and each a glass of champagne. All in all, one of the best restaurants in Athens and will be coming back time and time again.

Yelp
We celebrated our Anniversary and had a wonderful evening. There was a personalized card signed by the staff at our table. Once agin we did the " Chefs Selection " and were very pleased. The appetizer of warm olives in pesto was great, the pizza tasty, charcuterie was a creative mix of meats, cheeses, and pickled vegetables. The roasted broccoli and pork were excellent;tender and perfectly cooked. The cake for dessert was light and had a nice glaze. Wine selections were on track to complement the selection. Our waitress was fantastic and the support staff friendly and engaging. Highly recommend!

Skylar K.

Yelp
Dawg this was the best surprise ever. Our server Kerry was great. We celebrated my birthday (4 months late because my boss sucks) and we just let to team take over. They were out of steak but that happens. In my opinion it was top notch for a 3.5 course meal for $75 bucks. Will recommend to friends traveling through the area for the rest of my life. Couldn't get a picture because it was too good but they had squid ink dumplings with shrimp salad inside. Bro I had to suck down the last two in one bite because I was not letting my boss Finnish that off! Big thanks to everyone involved much appreciated!!

Yelp
The drive to this place felt slightly suspicious at first but the industrial building it is located at is very beautiful. They have Valet parking immediately pulling in, or self parking. The front area had plenty of beautiful outdoor seating and outdoor lighting I can only patiently wait to enjoy in the fall with friends. I failed to take an interior picture but it was stunning inside! Most staff had the cutest uniforms. The bar area was stunning. Thankfully there was no wait when we arrived. Our servers name was Jane, she was super sweet and helpful. Go Jane! I tried the Bitter Man from the cocktail menu, though I can't recall the ingredients 10/10 on that! We ordered the Calamari, Cane Americano Pizza, and two of the pasta options. Everything and I do not exaggerate, everything was delicious. The Lobster Ravioli was my personal favorite. And the honey on the Cane Pizza was an unexpected delight. I will definitely be returning! And I absolutely recommend you visit at least once if in the Athens area.

Yelp
I took my adult children here to celebrate a late Christmas dinner with them. I did not know that the restaurant existed but my son suggested it so we went. It was fantastic. The atmosphere was great, the food was sensational and they had a delicious menu. It would be a great date restaraount to go to. Very nice ambience. But my favorite thing about it was the service. I have lived in Athens for 40 years. This was some of the best service I have recrived ever in this town. Another reviewer left a scalding review saying the service was terrible but that simply was not our experience at all. Example: I ASKED about the kale salad and was curious but decided to abstain. Our server, out of the kindness of her heart just brought me a salad and said it was on her. It was delicious & I offered to pay for it but she insisted. Who does that these days? Not many. It is an excellent restaraunt and we will be back.

Yelp
Staying at the new Rivet Hotel, we decided to try out the restaurant in the hotel. Thankfully, we made an advance reservation as the restaurant was packed mid-week. The Athens locals are on to it. It opened 30 days ago and is operated by the Indigo Road Hospitality Group which has about 30 high quality restaurants throughout the mid-south. Very attractive decor. Has great bar area for pre-dinner drink. We started with Burrata, then Fungi Pizza and side of summer squash. All staff members are friendly & gracious. You can tell they have a full focus on a good customer experience. I would have liked to have more than one choice for Chardonnay. Otherwise, a totally outstanding experience from start to finish.

Yelp
The service was amazing from the second we walked in. It was a birthday brunch, and the menus had her name and birthday wishes printed onto them. There was a signed card from the staff waiting at the table as well. The food was incredible, and servers were so kind and awesome. Very attentive staff. Also, the restaurant smelled amazing and everyone was commenting on it. So clean, pretty space, and overall amazing food. Could not recommend more.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere. Great date night spot. Hint, make a reservation, they were packed. We sat at the bar because we did not make a reservation. The service was good. The food was also good although I don't think it warranted the prices. We had the Margherita pizza as an appetizer. It was very good. I chose the ziti ala vodka. It came in a small bowl with no meat and they were very heavy handed on the red pepper flakes. The noodled were al dente and the sauce was good. My husband had spaghetti bolognese, it was slightly underwhelming and not enough food. All in all good experience and we would probably go back.

Yelp
Pasties are delectable--a perfect addition to brunch. The hash is a favorite, but the quality has varied between visits.

Yelp
Came to stay here at the Revet Hotel. Saw the restaurant downstairs looked solid, made reservations for my birthday dinner. Now I am of age so the bday doesn't mean much to me ( we didn't mention it). Ordered the appetizers (Thank god), they gave us the line about the way we should order which we said fine and our waitress asked how we she should bring the food out and we agreed to the order. Well we got the apps, my wife got her pizza (main meal) and then 30 minutes later she comes and asks if she should put my half chicken in now?!?!?!? What?!?!?!? Needless to say, I canceled the meal and they insisted that we misunderstood and when I told them this was our main meal they agreed to comp the meal and such (which is always appreciated) I insisted to pay for what we consumed (which I paid for with a fat tip-I like to be generous to make a point the servers work hard as is they don't need these things to ruin their day). So be prepared and be patient. (Oh 20 minutes later they brought the meal over for me to eat it after I had already settled and I was walking out. Mgmt your people are awesome just make sure the process is cleaners up.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Osteria Olio since they opened, partly because people kept insisting and partly because the name makes it sound like a Bond villain's favorite restaurant. Tonight I finally went, and I brought a group with me. Groups are always a challenge for waiters, like asking them to herd cats. The space is industrial chic, which really means exposed brick walls softened by heavy velvet curtains. The effect is part factory, part opera house, and it works. It is far enough outside of town that your cell phone gives up entirely, but that adds to the feeling that you have stepped out of the everyday and into something designed to keep your attention on the food. The drinks set the tone. Italian wines by the glass, cocktails that felt like they had been tested on professional drinkers before being allowed on the menu. I had the agnolotti al formaggio with fire roasted artichokes. My dinner partner had the bolognese, and both dishes were excellent. Managing a table of ten is no small feat. The waiter handled it with real skill, only slipping when the two pizzas failed to come out with the other entrées. The rest of us froze in place, unwilling to start while our companions sat empty handed. The waiter spotted it immediately and brought out an antipasto so they would not sit waiting. It turned a potential stumble into a recovery that was thoughtful. By the end I was impressed. The space, the food, the staff all made it a first rate experience. It is the sort of place where you leave full but already thinking about what you want to order next time.

Lezlie B.

Yelp
So many restaurants do this: Offer seating to walk-ins in the bar when regular dining is fully reserved. Nice, you say! Disappointingly, just like others, Olio hostesses pointed me in the direction of a small, and as I discovered, FULLY SEATED bar. The concept of 'first come' was completely negated by RESERVED tables in the bar! Moreover the bar is clearly visible from the host station. It is no consolation to wander around a restaurant searching for a seat. Why send guests on a scavenger hunt? Host staff don't just manage the reservations. They are there to make guests', EVERY GUEST'S, visit pleasant. I would prefer an honest "Apologies ma'm we are fully seated at this time. The rain brought everyone inside from the patio. We'd love for you to come back. May we offer a free dessert for when you do return to dine with us." The valet staff performed at the other end of the spectrum - cheerful, informative, considerate, accommodating. Management may want to reevaluate staff assignments and procedures. 0-stars for host staff, 4-stars for valet, 3-stars for living up to the billing of 'chic' decor, ?-stars food. 1-star overall for the experience.

Insiyah A.

Yelp
For the price the service and food were not impressive. It was just ok, not good enough for me to go again. We were there for a birthday celebration, 2 dishes of 5 came out first. The portion was so small like a side dish I was done with it before the rest of the dishes came out. If I had waited it would have been cold. The descriptions are impressive but the actual food does not stand up to it., lacking in flavor. Expected more for the price. The restaurant itself was beautiful. There was an event in the courtyard and about an 20+ people hovered standing behind us watching us eat, it was awkward with no privacy.

Yelp
It was incredibly refreshing to find generous parking options, and plenty of space at an Athens restaurant. Started the night at the bar - the cocktails were superb. After being seated, the service was fine but felt amateur for the vibe that they are going for. Most of the food was good, especially the pizza. The duck tortellini fell short - it was served cold, not sure if that was intentional. Overall positive experience, especially in a college town.

Yelp
Best new restaurant in Athens with impeccable staff with a great knowledge of the menu. Osteria Olio Brunch On our last day, we enjoyed an unbelievable brunch in their beautiful Osteria Olio restaurant. They have delectable traditional dishes, Italian inspired brunch options, perfect pastries, an array of delicious coffee, and stellar brunch cocktails! Like their unforgettable quiche, this flavorful little number is creamy and soft inside, topped with tangy onions and scallions and the best salty flaky pastry crust. Its eye roll good. If sweet is your jam, you have to try the amazing ricotta pancakes. Our waitress, Montana, recommended them and we are thankful! It's divine! Crunchy caramelized outside hiding double pancakes inside that are fluffy, creamy, sweet, and warm. The maple syrup blueberries balance with some fruitiness and sweet. Their brunch cocktail menu is an Italian dream with their limoncello spritz! Cool and bubbly, sweet, and lemony. Perfect with the quiche! You really can't go wrong with anything here, like the pastries basket to start with lemon ricotta cake is lemony and sweet yet fluffy and creamy cake. Pecan Monkey bread is croissant based pull-apart with buttery cinnamon and sugar topped with candied pecans. Peach crostata is crunchy and sweet pastry stuffed with fresh caramelized peaches. Croissant (pain au chocolate) is crunchy and flaky, chocolate stuffed inside and on top. As far as salads, the Peach & Melon salad is refreshing, cool watermelon and honey dew, crunchy peach, topped with a crunchy spicy topping and delicate salty and meaty prosciutto. Plus, we really loved the Potato Hash. It is perfectly cooked egg, savory and seasoned, the salsa verde and Calabrian chili oil give it earthy, brightness, and spice. Then, the tangy onions pair well with the potatoes! Osteria Olio Dinner Osteria Olio is the best new restaurant in Athens, GA! This swanky new spot is a masterpiece of impeccable ambiance, inventive modern Italian fare, perfect pastas and pizzas, sensational steak, divine desserts, and sensational cocktails all wrapped into one of the best culinary experiences this year! Starting with the Bistecca Alla Griglia (Ribeye, it is cooked to perfection, tender, with a sensational seasoning. Don't even need the accoutrements but the chimichurri (broccoli based) is bright and herbaceous and the tart and rich steak sauce is almost like a Demi glaze yet sweeter and tarter. And ending with the Olive Oil Cake, a light lemony sweet cake with creamy vanilla creama and peach puree. They top it off basil compressed peaches and paired with a crunchy, brittle-like cookie. For our appetizers, we enjoyed the sensational Polpette (meatballs). Light half pork and beef rolled up with creamy cheese and tangy, earthy tomatoes. As well as the beef Carpaccio, a meaty and tender topped with salty funky blue cheese dollops, earthy arugula, pickled tart fennel with a side of grilled sourdough made in house! And you can't go wrong with the House made focaccia, a crispy and airy and paired with the creamy ricotta and delicious honey mixture! Washed them all down with the best of their cocktails, Special Landmark. It is a refreshing vodka cocktail with sweet italicus, tart lemon, herbaceous thyme, and bubbly prosecco. Along with the delicious steak, I enjoyed the epic Malfalde Cacio E Pepe pasta! Al dente specialty pasta made in-house only a few places and this is one of them, plus it looks almost like octopus. The pasta is hefty and hearty then topped with very creamy sauce and topped with sharp cheese and a ton of black pepper. Then, John opted for the Cane americano pizza, a spicy meaty pepperoni and sweet honey! John really enjoyed it. We got two side dishes as well, including the flavorful, charred and tender, herby and tangy Roasted Eggplant. Plus, the waiter recommended the amazing Crispy potatoes. They're crunchy outside and hearty and tender inside with the flavorful, creamy, bright sauce. Paired the pasta and sides with the Between the Hedges creamy and sweet, balanced, bourbon cocktail.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and it was absolutely fantastic! The focaccia had some sort of honey glaze that was fabulous. The pizza was one of the best I've ever had! Also, my spicy rigatoni was delicious! Our waitress was so kind and very professional. Everything down to the lighting of the restaurant made it such a romantic night.

Yelp
Great service, we went on a rainy day and got drenched but one of the staff members- manager I assume gave my husband a new tee shirt and gave us a towel, they also waived our valet parking. Food was good as well! Great ambiance.

Yelp
Still in Athens for work and we found out about this place. The reviews on Yelp were really good and the pics looked great so we decided to try. Could NOT have made a better choice. What I can't say enough about was the fantastic service. Literally every single person in this restaurant was beyond helpful, approachable and knowledgeable. Far exceeded expectations and will certainly be back!

Yelp
Nice place for date night, if you plan to spend the evening chatting over wine/cocktail. The ambience was cozy chic! Dried flowers hanging from the ceiling, clean decor and custom candles burning felt like an elevated experience. The menu seemed creative but it didn't translate to the plate. The server made no suggestions. Just "what would you like" she was young so I don't blame her. That's a training issue. If you're looking for a place for good food this is just not it. The pizza was mid...the crust was good. The verde looks good but the flavor was just ok. The cane Americano was better. I don't recommend the cacio e pepe it lacked all flavor. No cheese flavor, no salt and it was just warm. The presentation was lacking too...plate was not wiped. The presentation was alittle sloppy. I don't recommend the spaghetti bolognese either...the pasta was not hot, the flavor was lacking that my daughter (10yr) had to asked for salt. The bone in NY strip was good. The crispy potatoes were good, the creamy garlic sauce on the side of the plate was yummy with the steak too. the charred broccolini was ok. The focaccia was delicious! And worth a 1/2 star if 3.5 was an option.

Brenda M.

Yelp
we waited a VERY long time for the simplest of cocktails. food was pretty mediocre and it too was a long wait. nice looking place, lounge is nice but not a wonderful dining experience at all.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
I wish I could give half stars as I would give this restaurant a 3.5. We came here for our anniversary and we were slightly disappointed. We started with the burrata which was delicious. Great flavor. We then went to split the lobster ravioli and the spicy pepperoni pizza- however, they sent out the lobster ravioli first and the pasta was cold. The flavor was good however since it was cold, the texture was interesting. About 5 minutes later, our pizza came out. The crust was delicious and wasn't overly spicy. We then ordered dessert, we ordered the Olive Oil cake. It was very dry to be an olive oil cake and the consistency was not good. Once we were done with dessert, our waitress brought over a complimentary dessert. Very sweet however kinda awkward since we already ate one dessert. She gave us ricotta fritters.... AMAZING. The best part of meal. Overall our meal was good and the restaurant was an upscale vibe however not my favorite.

Yelp
Had three excellent courses here with wonderful service as well. I highly recommend trying the tiramisu, my favorite part of the meal

Yelp
We opted for the family style and weren't disappointed. Morgan, our server, wowed us with her professionalism, attentiveness and deep knowledge of each dish. The food was excellent be sure and arrive hungry.

Lauren D.

Yelp
Such an amazing experience especially to celebrate a birthday! The food was phenomenal with decently sized portions. The menus were customized to say happy birthday and the staff signed a birthday card, too. Our waitress was so knowledgeable about everything on the food and wine menu.

Yelp
Everything about this property, restaurant, bar, etc is wonderful' If you are in and/or around this fabulous place you would be remiss if you did not visit! Amazing! We are visiting their Asheville restaurant in December

Yelp
Wow!! The service and food is impeccable We had a large party of 11 people. The service was top notch and it made our celebration! Check out the hotel as well fabulous. A wonderful experience

Yelp
What a great ambiance! I dined at Osteria Olio on a Friday night. The restaurant was booked out for the evening, and the bar was brimming. However, my guest and I were able to secure a spot at the bar with no problem, which included full food service, thankfully. The menu is tailored with traditional options like pizza and pasta with a high-class twist. I naturally ordered crudo, raw yellowtail, that arrived late due to a plating issue. The fried onions had become cold and lost their crunch altogether, but the rest of the dish was superb. It was sour and slightly spicy, with a hint of sweetness from the kumquat. The Verde pizza was good, but their polpette meatballs stunned me. The meat was so tender and full of garlic flavor. The mix of both beef and pork balanced the dish perfectly and kept it from overwhelming. Really nice people and food! I would totally recommend it. But, play it safe by making reservations in advance.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came to eat a couple of weeks ago for our anniversary. I do understand that we are college age and younger people have a reputation of not tipping well, but our service was bad enough to affect the night. To start, the host was very kind and the ambiance was amazing per usual. Our server did not even introduce herself to us, so I couldn't even give you her name. I was the one who initiated conversation as she was dead silent when coming up to our table. She didn't even try to engage in conversation. The dinner was absolutely delicious but she just seemed annoyed that we were there and wanted to rush us out. Overall I was just really disappointed as it was just a weird vibe for somewhere we've previously had a great time. The waitress was still given the benefit of the doubt and was tipped well.

Yelp
Good luck trying to get anyone to answer the phone... Ever! Multiple attempts to reach someone. All of them unanswered.

Emma W.

Yelp
Went for a birthday brunch on a Sunday at noon. Everyone else around us got their food in 20 minutes and we sat for 1 HOUR WAITING. Once we got our food it was cold and the bread was soggy. We usually love this place so this was very disappointing.

Yelp
The wait staff was wonderful and the vibe is great. But the entrees were so over seasoned. Our first pasta had excessive salt, and it was replaced with another one that was loaded with pepper. If they just pull back on the seasoning, the dishes would have been much better. I wish them well. It is a nice location and ambiance.

Yelp
Best restaurant meal I had in a long time even better than 5 and 10. High ceilings from the old rivet factory soften by dead (dried) ferns hanging down Never the less made for an inviting feeling. Soft modern couches in the bar/lounge. 4 signature coctails plus 2 over price selection plus all the usual classics. An outstanding wine list with wine by the glass and the bottle including many I had never had. We had an italian brut sparkling wine which was soon good $60. The 3 of us had the "family style" with 2 appetizers, superb white wild Mushroom pizza, great ravioli an incredible half chicken and broccaltini with gRlic all highly spiced and fantastically flavored followed by a chocolate raspberry mouse cake and tiramisu which I ch my companion called the best 2 de.serts he had ever had. Other than perhaps a bit too much red pepper in several dishes these were exquisite tasting treats And the portions for 3 were very generous and plenty for us with a bit left over. Servers were young and friendly and professional. Overall a great evening leaving us eager to return. Oh and the menus were printed with "Happy Birthday" and they gave us each a gratis glass of sparkling wine to celebrate without the embarrassment of the wait staff singing. Who could ask for anything more.

Yelp
Loved this restaurant! I love the ambience - super chic! The food was great and the service was even better! The only thing is that is was tricky to find. First of all, it is off the beaten path. You kind of have the feeling of are we going the right way. And It is in the back of another building. Once you see it, it makes sense. We parked at the first building and walked around for a bit before someone told us to drive around back and valet.

Yelp
The food here was amazing! Definitely want to come back and try some pasta but the pizza was amazing and the potatoes with sauce (tasted almost like an alfredo) was delicious! The service was great and they were very fast. The ambiance was nice and the outdoor seating was very pretty.

Yelp
Might be one of the best authentic Italian restaurants I've ever been to. It feels like you are in Italy, even down to the European fixtures in the bathroom. Not a run of the mill American Sicilian Italian restaurant like everywhere else in America. The Mafalde Cacio de Pepe might be one of the best plates !!! Service was exceptional as well. It was so incredible, I went back the next night for dinner

Yelp
Went here because I love Indaco which is owned by the same company (great restaurant in ATL if you get the chance you have to go) - the food was great. Definitely one of the nicest meals I've had in Athens. Fun spot. Great vibes. Service was average/ below average. No one was supper friendly and the service took a while. Which is the opposite of Indaco. Would go back, but a little bummed!

Yelp
What a phenomenal new restaurant in Athens. We visited after attending a mid-day game. The restaurant is beautiful and elegant. Prices are a great deal for such high quality menu items. We are from Nashville and prices there or Atlanta are easily double what you will pay in this fantastic restaurant. Our service was phenomenal. Both the bartender and our waiter were attentive, made great suggestions, and were personable and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Server did everything to make our birthday party of six special. Unfortunately, I received the wrong pizza to start- traded with the other person who received the incorrect pizza. Mine was totally burned and inedible. The offer was made to prepare another- based on the time it took to get the first pizza. The side of meatballs I ordered were intended to be taken home for my husband to accompany any left over pizza. When I did get them home, found out that they also were burned on one side! The "imported" gelato that chose for dessert was ok. We were also gifted a small chocolate mousse/ ganache cake to split. It was probably the best thing I tasted. The parking was valet but at no cost if you eating at the restaurant. The $9.00 fee would have only added to a very expensive meal that was not particularly satisfying. Visit at your own risk.

Yelp
By FAR the best dining in Athens. I have searched the city extensively and this is the only truly excellent place I have found. Other places (Slater's, the National, the Expat, etc.) are good in their own way but in my opinion OO is a cut above. Every food item I've had is fantastic. The lamb and chicken are not to be missed. Great cocktails, friendly and attentive staff. Awesome ambiance and decor. Not a bargain but definitely worth the money. The only place I will go for fine dining in Athens.

Yelp
A birthday dinner, 3 of us. Inside was high noise level so patio seating was chosen. Gorgeous night so a good choice. Emma was a great server. Antipasti was all delicious (burrata, prosciutto and a salad). Agnolotti was yummy. No room for dessert, sadly. Without any alcohol either, bill was ~$150 without tip. In all, the birthday guest was happy and that's what matters, right?

Yelp
The restaurant visually looks super pretty and it has a great vibe. The calamari appetizer was the best part of the meal! However the pizza and cacio o Pepe were subpar. The cacio o Pepe tasted exactly like "Annie's White Mac N Cheese" and the pizza had an off taste to it. Osteria Olio is a decent place it won't blow your socks off but it's not the worst Italian place in town. It was just underwhelming since the food visually looks great!

Yelp
Amazing food, a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Amazing environment and pretty restaurant

Yelp
Divine food expertly prepared by an amazing executive chef! Lovely atmosphere and friendly wait staff. The meatballs are excellent. Not one disappointing bite in the many things I ate!

Yelp
Portions for the price and taste weren't the best. The lobster ravioli didn't taste fresh and sweet like I expected. It was on the fishy side. Dough on the pizza was great but overall lacked flavor. The meatballs were very tender and flavorful, but did not justify the price. If you like rosemary you will like the focaccia. It is more herb-forward than savory. Server was knowledgeable and friendly.
