My husband and I came across Ostrow Brasserie as we were looking for a unique restaurant that fit our aesthetic while also ensuring that all members of our religious family could feel comfortable and at ease for our small, 36 person wedding. From the moment we met Chef O, we couldn't have been in better hands and treated truly like VIP. Every detail was curated for us and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we had hoped it to be. Her staff was professional and friendly, the venue was perfect and our chuppah ceremony in the patio was an absolute dream. The food was immaculate, the energy was high and the cake may have been the best cake we've had in our entire lives. If you're thinking of dining here, having a special occasion or getting married like we did, run don't walk to this incredible restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

If you live in or are visiting Miami and you haven’t tried Ostrow Brasserie, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! The food and service are top notch! The chef/owner comes around to every table to check in, introduce herself and get to know you (I have never been to another restaurant where that occurs). The staff is polite, engaging and respectful! I have been to Ostrow five or six times and I have never had a bad meal or something I didn’t like. Every time I go the menu has new items and tonight I had the Hanger steak, it was the best steak I have ever had. Trust me, Ostrow is worth it and is deserving of the highest of praises!!!!

Dining at Ostrow was an unforgettable experience that transported us straight to France. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm ambiance and décor set the tone for a remarkable evening. The menu was a delightful showcase of classic French cuisine, with each dish crafted to perfection. We started with the French onion soup and it was absolutely divine. For the main course, the meat was a standout it was so soft , with succulent risotto and a deeply flavorful wine reduction that left us savoring every bite. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent wine pairings to complement our meal. The sommelier recommended a lovely wines that perfectly matched the flavors of our dishes. As for dessert, we didn’t have room anymore. Ostrow is a gem that offers authentic French flavors and hospitality. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to indulge in exquisite cuisine, this restaurant promises an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended!

Gem

Google
Had high hopes—left thoroughly confused. This place had all the makings of a hidden gem… until it didn’t. For a restaurant tucked in this kind of location, with dime-store silverware and a décor that screams “budget makeover,” it’s honestly impressive how confidently they price themselves like they’ve just earned their second Michelin star. A $29 glass of California cab—without a liquor license? Bold. A $160 entrée? Inspiring levels of ambition. And let’s be clear: we’re not opposed to spending money on a great meal. We love a good splurge when the food and experience back it up. But here, the math just doesn’t math. We still gave it a real shot—four glasses of wine, an app, two mains and a side. The pappardelle? Not fresh. The pasta was oddly stiff with visible flour clumps, and the sauce had more in common with Sunday roast gravy than anything Italian. At these prices, we should’ve at least been tempted to finish it. We weren’t. And our server? Somehow his “favorites” all happened to be the priciest items on the menu. Look, we’re not here on a Groupon date—we just like value and authenticity. What really seals it is reading the owner’s responses to other reviewers. Let’s just say the tone says a lot. Instead of humble growth, it’s all bravado and defensiveness. Here’s a wild idea: make good food, price it fairly, and let the community fall in love with you. You know—like how restaurants usually work.

Had an incredible dinner here. The duck was terrific, and everything else was great but the highlight was easily the rack of lamb which was to die for. Great service as well, would so highly recommend.

Google
I pretty much never leave reviews but this place deserves one. We came to Florida on our first family trip and this place was one of the rare occasions that the wife and I could enjoy a date night without the kids. The food here was incredible, the recommendations by the waitress were on point. Every meal from appetizer to dessert exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend as this is now the best kosher place I have ever eaten at.

Yelp
Ostrow Brasserie: the culinary knight in shining armor that saved my holiday office dinner last year! When I took a gamble on this hidden gem near the Health District, little did I know it would become my go-to spot for festive feasts! Finding a Kosher restaurant with a dash of upscale charm is no easy task, especially with my boss's dietary demands, but Ostrow came through like a champ! Fast forward to this year's reunion, and wow, this place still hits. The cozy space remains inviting, with plush seating and chic art nouveau touches that make you want to linger forever (you're basically in an art gallery). Our early reservation blessed us with an almost empty restaurant, making it feel like we had hit the jackpot again! Our delightful server, Josafina, was well-versed in the menu, guiding us through and answering questions (we had a vegitarian in my party). The Brassiere Wagyu burger? A crowd-pleaser! The Trout Amandine? Bigger than my expectations! As for me, I indulged in the Boeuf Bourguignon & Risotto, pairing it with truffle pommes purée - I've officially declared licking the plate a faux pas, but trust me, my bread did a little sauce-swirling dance. Plus, the ratatouille was a hit with my vegan guest, Selah! But let's talk dessert! The Profiterol arrived like a grand finale, stacked high and drizzled with molten chocolate that would make any dessert lover weep with joy. My colleague was practically bouncing in his seat like a kid in a candy store. With a delightful selection of red and white Bordeaux, we toasted to another successful holiday dinner. Whether you're planning a small gathering or a cozy date night, Ostrow is the place I would highly recommend.

Yelp
We came by after we were at Joyce Billet Studio next door. The owner, Olivia Ostrow. She is a world renowned French chef who brings three decades of culinary experience to this new project. Her passion for French cuisine, Kosher cooking techniques, and front-of-house expertise sets Chef Olivia apart as a triple threat in and to of the kitchen. She was kind and informative as we were looking possible to host an event at the restaurant in an afternoon. She let us look around and take a look in the back /outside as well. It is a very special restaurant and we noted that. It is very interesting in its design as well.It is locate din the up and coming Buena Vista neighborhood in Miam.It is just north of the Design District and Wynwood. I will have to come back and try the food!

Yelp
Kosher style restaurant. Incredible how they make great food with the known kosher limitations. Good portions and service (every plate is described when served), extremely pricey. Small restaurant.

Yelp
We went to Ostrow brasserie big group of people Our reservation was for 12 people on a big table On a side big room in the restaurant We noticed that that there is weird smell of Water or mold there. We asked to move a table .. The blond waitress was little rude and not polite They move us to the outside area that was super hot. We ordered many appetizers as salads and duck That was not eatable! None of us like those appetizers. Then they recommend us to take the wagyu burger And ribeye steak. The burger wasn't tasty and the steak was ok. I have to say that the bread and butter was super good And the fish was good as well. Overall the service was ok the blonde lady was rude in the beginning but after that she treat us well. The food was not tasty Specifically for $250 per person .

Yelp
Amazing restaurant, beautiful and the food exquisite! Looking forward to going again and again! We met Chef Olivia Ostrow...so nice and an incredible Chef. Loved it!

Yelp
Where do I start... pretentious owner/chef. Thinks she's so cool. Somehow they manage to mess up such simple recipes and food. The steak frites was served cold, bland, and came with a soggy salad on the plate. Don't get me started on the inedible French fries (way too salty). Only thing that we enjoyed was the wagyu burger. They had an event going on on the other side of the restaurant, so the staff was pretty inattentive. The ambiance was depressing. Honestly, save yourself the money and dine at home. Helpful tip - Trader Joe's has better kosher steak than Ostrow.... Ps - our waiter was the only pleasurable part of our dinner. Je ne reviendrai jamais.

Yelp
The food was very tasty. The ambiance was lovely. To be fair it was a holiday weekend, and our reservation was for 9.45pm. Half of the items on main course menu were not available, or so we were told. There were many patrons that came and were seated after us who were served the items we had requested, but they might have been regular clients? We were offered complimentary wine and a sincere apology, but for a special extravagant evening out that we had planned to have it seemed disappointing?

Yelp
This restaurant has a bold concept and it exceeded my expectations. Finally, an upscale, kosher, meat restaurant in Miami that sticks to a theme (this is a French Brasserie... not a steak and sushi restaurant) and executes it well. We split the Salad Lyonnaise for appetizer. It was plated nicely and had familiar ingredients, but executed very very well. The croutons were a level up. It was dressed just right. For mains, we had the lamb paupiette and steak frites. My gosh, the steak was cooked perfectly and the crust was magnificent. The lamb paupiette was very good as well. The service was very attentive. Overall, a wonderful experience. A gem, and I'm happy we have them in Miami.

Yelp
I have never had such a HORRIBLE dining experience in my entire life. The manager and owner should consider finding new jobs that do not involve interacting with people. They have zero respect for their customers, making my family and me feel extremely unwelcome and in shock at how they treated us. After making countless errors with our orders, the manager came to our table not really to listen or understand the issues but the talk down to us. I would never want to hurt someone's restaurant, but Ostrow, with its current staff, is not a restaurant, it is a French soap opera drama with subpar food and an overcomplicated menu. Stay away if you are looking to enjoy your night; go if you are looking for an unusual experience.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant! Love it. Super Recomended. Food, service, decor, location. I have been a few times and I always say that it's a great restaurant.

Yelp
Ostrow Brasserie is unmatched in the USA and rivals the best of Paris. Olivia Ostrow has put her heart and soul into this impeccable eatery. When you come you will see her leading her cooking staff in the open-plan kitchen. The menu is innovative, with dishes ranging from the expected duck confit to the unique lamb paupiette. Each dish is impeccably prepared and presented by a waitstaff that goes out of its way to make sure each diner is having an extraordinary experience. This is a place to savor and to return to.

Teresa G.

Yelp
Stuffy chauvinist/prejudgmental. manager... if I could give a 0 (zero) I would.... Didn't even sit down due to mannerisms and looks presented upon walking into the restaurant. Just because I don't look like you or speak your language doesn't mean I am not in the same or higher class as you to enjoy the food. Horrible experience just walking in.

Sean N.

Yelp
Amazing service combined with fantastic food. This restaurant is a delightful adventure thru French cuisine all while keeping kosher. If you are in the Miami area I highly recommend 10/10. The ambiance is gorgeous and the staff is wonderful. The owner puts so much love into every detail down to each dish. i have nothing but great things to say about Ostrow Brasserie!
