I went to Otaru once, and immediately came back the same week—and honestly, that alone says everything. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is stunning. The lighting is perfectly curated, creating an intimate yet lively atmosphere that makes the entire dining experience feel elevated and special.
The service was exceptional across the board. Every sushi chef was welcoming and attentive, and I’d especially like to thank Chef Jun, who truly made the night unforgettable. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine passion for his craft added such a personal touch to the experience. I’d also like to give a special thank you to our server, Chris, whose informative and entertaining service made the experience even better. He walked us through the menu with great insight, offered thoughtful recommendations, and kept the night engaging from start to finish.
The servers were equally amazing—extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and always checking in at just the right moments.
As for the food, the quality was simply unmatched compared to any sushi restaurant I’ve been to in Dallas. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor.
