Noisy full restaurant. Appetizers were good but main courses fall short. The pork shoulder with pasta was ok but the roast chicken with vesuvia sauce lack flavor.

Held a baby shower there. Ben & Danny were our servers and from minute one until we walked out the door, they were very attentive to every guest. They were also accommodating to food allergy guests. Great venue, excellent food and exceptional service!

Jose, the bartender is always excellent. Gnocchi is a favorite. Volcanic lava cake is delicious. Great espresso martinis. Recommend the mussels in white wine sauce, Parmesan crusted scallops, and lasagna.

Their food is absolutely incredible. If I could eat here everyday I would. Sometimes there’s a long wait but the dishes are worth it. The ravioli rosa sauce is one of the best sauces I've ever had. Any appetizer, drink or dessert I’ve had here was also great. My only complaint is that its really loud and sometimes you’re seated reeeealllly close to others, which can make celebrating a special occasion or anniversary feel a little awkward and impersonal.

Frutti di mare was the perfect level of spice and the portion was certainly generous. Veal Parmesan was also very generously portioned although not too memorable. Next time I'd definitely try a different main. The compound butter that comes with the bread is actually really good. Pizza diavola came with broccoli which wasn't expected but ok. Service was friendly and attentive.

This place is fabulous 🤩 loved everything we had! A bottle of Chardonnay, white wine mussels, pork chops and lasagna! Everything was delicious 😋 definitely going back to try more! Danny is a really awesome server as well!!!

First time dining here and won’t be the last. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the amazing hostess till you’re finished with your meal, it’s a wonderful experience. Went in on a Tuesday night, packed place and I now know why, but didn’t realize it was 1/2 price wine night, an added bonus to what was a great night. We sat in the bar area/high top and the bartender was our server as well, she was friendly and very attentive. The bussers were on top of their service as well, from taking our empty dishes to making sure our water glasses were constantly full. We started with the giant meatball appetizer, a perfect one at that packed with flavor and so tender. I ordered the spaghetti special which came with a salad to start, the dressing is perfect and a must try, but the spaghetti was top notch too which came with more of those incredible meatballs, so much food and so happy I have leftovers to enjoy the next day. I HIGHLY recommend going there if you haven’t, we will be regulars and I have to apologize for not going sooner, I’m the one who’s been losing out!

Always a great meal. Service is great. Tight seating but the atmosphere is good enough you don't really notice. Try the Pork Chop, Colette Di Mailiale, exceptional presentation, one of the best chops in the Chicago area.

Delicious Italian cuisine. The ambiance is very relaxed and the guests move in and out quickly. The pasta dishes taste homemade and every entree we've ever had has always been delicious. I recommend the eggplant and calamari.

Last night, my husband, son and I came for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. This morning we both said to each other that was the best meal we've had in a really long time! From the drinks, French Martini and Vodka Martini straight up with blue cheese olives, to the appetizers, Giant Meatball and grilled calamari, our meal, the dessert, volcano cake the best! and cappuccino, as well as the staff, it was a five star experience for us! We've been there a few times and we always seem to order scallop meal which never disappoints and is always amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Came to Ottimo on the recommendation of a friend. He said to get the scallops. He wasn't wrong. They were cooked to perfection. My husband and I both got the scallops. Creme brûlée for dessert you can't go wrong. Restaurant was crowded on a Wednesday night which is a testament to how good the food is. The service is top notch. We didn't have to wait for anything. Come dressed or casual.

Excellent food and service! Only drawback is limited space. On a busy night,they seat you at very small tables, food barely fits on table, and your sitting very close to next table. Very uncomfortable!

Monday evening birthday dinner. The food was decent and the service was excellent. One thing to note is that the menu on their website is much larger than the menu at the restaurant for some reason. Also, the place is called Osteria but there are no oysters listed on either menu. The place was packed and the tables are a little tight but overall a good dining experience. My smoked old fashioned and the grilled calamari appetizer were the highlight of the night for me.

First time there, had the meatball, sausage &peppers, and calamari appetizer and was all very good. Husband and I both ordered the eggplant and it was phenomenal. Service was great, very attentive, and personable. It's a very quaint atmosphere, the desserts are out of this world. Highly recommend if you're looking for some authentic Italian food.

The garlic butter and bread is great! I had the ravioli and pasta with meat sauce. Very delicious. Highly recommend.

My family and I dine here often. The service is always fast and professional. The food is fresh and seasoned well. I love the espresso martinis. I usually order white fish or salmon. My children order either pizza or chicken Alfredo. I would recommend this place if you want good service and fresh food.

Ambiance: Very nice Service: Very nice servers. But need training Food: There are many Italian restaurants close to where we live here in Las Vegas. My wife and I travel 19 miles to visit this restaurant. If you like Chicken Parmigiana, you will not find a Restaurant in Las Vegas with better Chicken Parmigiana. They serve Jidori chicken that is more than half inch thick and when properly cooked you can cut it with your fork. If you are not familiar with Jidori chicken, it's expensive to purchase and it's eaten raw in Japan.

Have been here a few times and have always had a great meal. This last time, we started with a salad that had apple, cranberry, cheese, and pine nuts which was fresh and tasty. I had the swordfish special which was delicious and a very generous portion. It had a nice butter sauce and a panzanella salad. The service was great and the atmosphere is cozy. I will definitely be back to try more!

food is great， seafood is worthy. the Stuff recommends is wonderful. Just am little pricey, but good for a meal for a week for me. I love the spicy tomato and the noodle. Also tried the ice cream. Coffee testy. Next time would try the Tiramisu cake there. And the working hours is short hhhhhhhh. I want launch time there too!

Service was fair. Not much to eat on the lunch menu for a carnivore. Had the antipasto platter. Didn't care for the cheese and the not much of a meat selection for the price.

Great place! We went there for dinner. I had the Ravioli Rosa and a side salad. The ravioli was very tasty and the salad was fresh and crispy.

Used to be a favorite spot but every time we come less and less of our favorites (e.g. Burrata, desert calzone etc). The ravioli, Bologna's and frutti Del Mar is still good.

Underrated! The vibe on the outside seating is sexy! Very calming and classy. Mostly adults here. The waiter that served was very respectful and recommended some very good dishes. The food is so fresh my wife and I absolutely loved everything. From the zucchini to the shelled pasta. I highly recommend. This is one of the only places in orland that you get that classy city feel.

The food never disappoints, the service is attentive and always friendly. We have been coming for many years and always enjoy it. It's our first choice for special occasions or when friends/family come to town.

I was here a few days ago. Staff had no clue if they offered flavored iced tea as someone in my group asked. In my napkin/silverwear roll I had a dirty fork. Gross! Ceasar salad was uneventful. Chicken piccata was only ok. Bread was only ok. I haven't been here since pre-pandemic, but I would skip this place for sure.

It's always a great time, and dood is superb! The 1/2 price and spaghetti night is the best time to go. Get there early!!

Had a BEAUTIFUL bridal shower! Service and food were excellent!!! The only reason for the 4 not 5 was their side room was incredibly hot- 75 degrees. They brought out fans but they didn't help much. The pastries actually melted. Chicken piccata, potatoes, broccoli penne Alfredo, bread, bruschetta, Caesar salad- allll delicious! Bellinis and mimosas were good too!

The food the drinks & service here is amazing! From the most delectable grilled calamari with sauce that you like , perfect scallop, really all their food are delicious . Higly recommended for family and friends

The calamari was delicious and the sole reason for the two stars. Don't order the lasagna. It smelled and tasted off (some weird seasoning that wasn't pleasant to me) and the meatball on the side that I ordered was flavorless. You are better off with Olive Garden or Buca di Beppo lasagna. Thankfully I came here on a date and didn't pay any of my own money.

This is one of my favorite restaurants from a long time ago. Hadn't been in a while and had occasion to eat out. The place met all my remembered expectations. Food is delicious as ever and we even asked the bartender for an off menu selection and they did great. The best part of our night here was the service. Besides being extra helpful, everyone was so pleasant or even happy, something I wish was the norm for all service based interactions out. Definitely will be back again soon.

We chose this place for dinner on a Saturday night on a whim and the place was packed, however, we surprisingly got a table immediately. We started with the burrata con pomodorini e prosciutto. The presentation was not the best, but the flavors were good. I decided to have the caesar salad and the grilled calamari. The caesar salad was overdressed, which made the greens a little limp. The grilled calamari were large and prepared nicely. I had it with a good squeeze of lemon. It didn't need the creamy sauce or the giardiniera, in my opinion. I also tasted the salmone con lenticcie, which was good. Overall, I'd say this place has simple and decent Italian cuisine with no frills. Definitely a decent option in the suburbs.

Food was excellent,go there for the food.Front end not so good.we went there mid afternoon,greeted by manager? 1 other customer was seated up by sunny windows.My wife and I (seniors) were seated in the closest booth to the kitchen,restroom,bar!Back of the restaurant. During our delicious meal,several highways workers in their colorful vests admired our meals on their way to the bar,adjacent to our booth..Then a young mother came in with a crying infant in car seat and an over active 6-7 yr old..Guess where they were seated?? This mother seemed to be an employee and/or fam member,with much more/better service..Again..Go there for the food.!

Phenomenal! Absolutely delicious. I had the halibut, asparagus, beet salad, and arugula, asparagus salad and Rose' wine. Tasted the rigatoni bolognese and chicken piccata! All were amazing!

My client was impressed with the wine, the food, the atmosphere and positive vibe around the place, especially for a Tuesday! The Scallop special were the best I have had, everything was just perfect. The wait staff was excellent! I'm glad, that of all of the places we could have went within a 30 mile radius from CHICAGO HEIGHTS, I selected this place as it truly was an excellent evening with a new client!

Food was amazing! Ambiance was nice and chill. Very cozy neighborhood spot and I was very impressed with food quality. It was way better than some expensive Italian restaurants in downtown. Definitely will be back.
