The quac can be a little salty, but the 80s tacos are spot on like 80s tacos were. Don't let the drunk nacho-munch menu fool you, this isn't really a place to bring your kids even though you can hang out on the patio with them, the atmosphere changes fast in here when the crowds roll in. I love having a cocktail here most evenings before it gets too crowded. Or on a weekend afternoon. Staff are all nice and I love everyones eclectic styles that suit them so well it makes me want to go vintage clothing shopping to pick out some cool styles for me. Update: don't miss the drink called "Skinny Dennis"!!

Google
Such a great neighborhood bar that I did not know existed. Simple food menu but DELICIOUS! And craft cocktails do not disappoint… try the Whiskey for Breakfast. Will definitely go back.

Google
I had a great time. My drink was delicious, the food was good and the atmosphere was very chill. Definitely would go back for a night with friends and drinks.

Danielle Long

Google
Great local bar with incredible cocktails and good food. Small food menu but they do it right! Loved the nachos. The Alaska cocktail was fantastic. Slow service but it was busy, so expected.

Google
Great place for cocktails and munchies. The food is good, and the bartenders really know their stuff! I was impressed how they conscientiously kept up with the current customers while handling new arrivals - it was a coordinated team effort you don't usually see.

Google
I like this place overall, but I was disappointed last time I was here. It was a Saturday night, I checked online on purpose before I went to see what time they close since my friend got out of work late. It says they close at 2am, so my friend and I got there at around midnight. At 12:54am when I asked if I can order more drinks, the bartender told me no because they were closed. She also said last call was at 12:30 but no one told us that. Usually if it's last call at any other bar, they make it super loud and obvious, but no one even told us. I was obviously confused and asked the bartender what time they close and she said it depends on how many people (customers) are in the building. I get it, but it would've been nice to know ahead of time that they don't have a set closing time, especially on a Saturday. My friend and I were bummed out and left.

Google
Back in June I saw these purple drinks in an ad for Otto's and I knew I had to go have one. I finally went there last night, only to find out they were a limited offering only for June and by now they didn't even have the base liquor to make them anymore. I was so bummed 😔 While talking to the bar manager Bodie, he realized I was mostly interested in the look, not so much the type of alcohol they were made with. So then he did an awesome thing: he recreated the drink using different ingredients, just so I could have that purple drink that I saw in the ad. Not only that, but he made two of them AND gave them to us on the house 😮 Now that's top quality service that goes above & beyond! It's what makes people come back to your place when they have a thousand other choices. Otto's, give Bodie a raise or a nice bonus - he deserves it! 💯

Google
Loved the server here. He had a great recommendation for a mocktail for me that wasn’t on the menu. Nachos were super good too!

Yelp
We stopped by Otto's because of a recommendation from our bartender at M.L. Rose. It was walking distance from our AirBNB. We sat at the bar and found the place to have a cool vibe. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and we ordered their Old Fashioned. It was excellent. They have a pretty good bourbon selection also. We would definitely visit this place again and would recommend to friends visiting the area.

Yelp
Otto's is a cool "dive" bar on the West side of town. I've been a couple of times with friends and always appreciate the welcoming vibes and fun car theme. Everything from the signage to the bathroom sinks are reminiscent of an old auto garage, and it's done really well. There's a few parking spots out front, as well as a larger lot out back. Street parking also isn't too hard to come by if the lots are full. If you visit during happy hour, you'll unlock some fun drink specials, including Otto's signature Teeny Martini. Outside of happy hour, the cocktail prices are pretty comparable to other bars in the area. I also really like the Otto's Tune Up on draft, which is brewed specially for their bar by East Nashville Brew Works. Weather-permitting, the patio area is covered and comfy, with lots of room for your group to spread out. Otto's is a solid local option to grab drinks on a weeknight or a weekend, away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Nashville.

Yelp
One of the best neighborhood bars in the city. It's truly a local spot. Drinks are craft cocktail price, but quality liquor and well crafted. Tacos and nachos hit. Patio space is stunning with a variety of seating. Parking sucks with limited spots, but to be expected in the city. You might be able to luck out with the few spots out front or back, or street parking. But I've had to circle several times occasionally. Nonetheless the cool, laid back vibe with quality drinks is worth it. Bartenders are super nice, chill, and know their way around the bar.

Yelp
I was pretty shocked to see how packed this spot was on a random Tuesday* in early Fall. And not only was it crowded, it was crowded with tourists/non-locals? Huh? Wha? How did they even know this neighborhood existed, much less this bar? I was confusion. But my answer to 'why is parking so bananas?' was answered. I'd also added to the conundrum, as I'd instructed an out-of-town friend of mine to meet me here. But I figured my localness trumped anything else. The bar was/is non-descript and homey. It's a nice combo. Swing open the heavy door, look around inside at the bar and make a bee-line to the patio. Normally, this would have been the optimum move. Thanks to global warming, it was summertime hot so Otto's had an industrial fan blowing. I appreciated the motion but it didn't do much for the heat. It just made everyone's personal items blow around. 'B' for effort. Perhaps another reason for the crowd was that it was 'taco Tuesday': $2 tacos and $6 margaritas. I make it a personal rule not to eat at bars so cheap margs it was. I was pleased to note that despite the 'cheap'** price, the marg was decently boozy and objectively tasty. I had two.*** Typically, I like to make my way down a menu and try the proprietary drinks to see if I like the bar's POV. However, a good happy hour offering will always beat menu curiosity. I just have a reason to come back. *Prices have gone up on the tacos, beloved. **Remember when drinks were standard $6-$8? ***I stayed a while. Don't give me that look.

Yelp
Cool place to stop by to grab a drink and some apps! Limited parking and indoor sitting so get there before the crowd z

Yelp
Stopped by at 4:30 on a Wednesday to an already pretty full bar- which means it must be good! I took a seat at the bar and was greeted immediately by the bartenders who kept great conversation the rest of the evening. I'll be honest, nothing on the cocktail menu was speaking to me, but after chatting about what I usually like (sour and citrusy), the bartender was able to deliver an amazingly delicious drink. Otto's was our "pre-game" before heading to dinner, so my friend and I each got 1 taco which was the perfect appetizer for our night. I'll need to come back and plan to enjoy a full meal! Overall, Otto's is just a great, friendly, and comfortable neighborhood bar that is delivering in all aspects. I'll be back!

Yelp
Was a great place, great drinks & friendly staff. I had an awesome expresso martini! Parking was tight but a great speakeasy

Yelp
$7 burger for burger week was one of the best - if not THE best - in the city. Cozy lil spot on the west side w/ an East nasty vibe. Tasty cocktails. Recommended.
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
Service seemed really unfriendly. They seemed to favor the regulars over new people wanting to explore different vibes of bars. If you're expecting live music, DO NOT come here. My friends gin and tonic was really dry and weak in alcohol. I still can't wrap my head around how un-welcoming the bartender was. You're paying for the scene which is not bad, the service however, needs a revamp. Probably won't be back here
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
Ottos is a fun spot right off Charlotte. The parking lot is small but lots of parking on the street beside it. We went here for burger week so it was a little busier than normal. They had the secret bodega setup outside on their patio making burgers all night. Service was great even with it being so busy. Drinks were fantastic! Definitely try the Georgia Pine Old Fashioned!
google avatar

Janeth D.

Yelp
Love taco Tuesday, everyone is so nice! Best way to get the nervous gitters for salsa class!!

Leonardo H.

Yelp
Don't expect first class service there's regulars here that will take your line to the bar. Their drinks are nothing amazing and overpriced.
google avatar

Jasmine C.

Yelp
This was a nice little spot to grab a quick drink or two. I don't really recommend the tacos. They didn't scream anything special to me....very mediocre. I could've found a better taco on a food truck. The drinks were great though. Service was good for the most part. A guy with long hair who wore black glasses was the only one to even really greet us. Our server didn't have the best attitude neither did the guy who brought the food to the table. Ahh....I'm ok not returning. ‍

Yelp
I can't believe it took me this long to check out Otto's! The vibes are immaculate, it's dark and very vintage, almost like drinking in an old decked out garage (I think it used to be)! I recommend going during Taco Tuesday, Tacos are $2 and Margs are $6, you can't beat those prices. The best tacos are the 1980s hardshell tacos. The crunch from the hardshell is amazing. Our server recommended the chicken, and it did not disappoint. I had two beef and two chicken to compare, both were awesome, but next time I'll get 3 chicken, 2 beef. For the $6 margs, you can order classic or spicy (but I think spicy is a dollar up-charge maybe?) It's a great place to meet up with friends or for a little date night. The staff is awesome and friendly. Otto's is worth checking out. They have a few parking spots in the front, and offer additional parking in the back or on the side street.

Yelp
Otto's x Secret Bodega teamed up to bring us magic yesterday! The menu was so inspired with such a fun twist on the things we know and love. The buttery pastry and sweet caramelized onions from the French Onion soup Gallate were a dream. The Kasama Sando had such a fluffy pillowy egg and a wonderful sauce that was bursting with flavor. We could sing the praises of each item but we must talk about our favorite drink, The Juanita Valdez. This drink was so beautiful and so different from my imagination that we thought we had received the wrong thing. Strong, smokey, sweet are how we would describe this beautiful drink. This may have been the last Secret Bodega event of 2023 but 2024 is just around the corner. All the food and drinks were wonderful! The service was great, everyone was super friendly

Yelp
If we lived in West Nashville, we'd probably make this a regular haunt for when a drink or two helps to take the edge off a long/hard day. Chill patio environment and intimate but low-key inside (good for a meet up with a couple friends or a first date), well made cocktails. I like that the menu has a wide variety of base liquors and signals ingredients that are house-made or local so you really get a feel-good vibe for supporting small business. I also love a place that does classics -- a gimlet, a French 75 -- well and features them alongside specialty cocktails. There's some limited dedicated parking both in front of and behind the building, with some street parking, too -- fine on a weeknight but might be harder on a weekend.

Yelp
Taco was excellent. I ordered the 1980 Taco Beef & Chicken. So well prepared. Ambiance is great. Such a fun place. Service was fast.
google avatar

Yelp
We met friends here for drinks to celebrate birthdays! There were six of us and everyone on the staff was so kind, accommodating, and welcoming! Our drinks were delicious and the queso was the best I've had in Nashville! Exceptional service and quality. We loved the little covered patio! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Christa N.

Yelp
I was on a walk with a friend when we stumbled by Otto's. It was such a gem. My friend and I ordered mocktails and enjoyed the aesthetic atmosphere. The mock-tail was nothing fancy, but it was cute and tasty! The service was keep and the bartender was kind. Check them out :)
google avatar

Erin C.

Yelp
We came here for a "girls night out" with my high school friends, and had a wonderful time! The drinks were all very different and there was something for everyone. (I strongly recommend the Spicy Margarita if you like spicy stuff!) I was pleasantly surprised by their back patio, it has heaters and is fenced in for privacy. The bartenders were very kind and friendly, the atmosphere was chill, and the drinks were strong. We will be coming back soon, for sure!
google avatar

Mary Ann G.

Yelp
Highly recommend! This is such a cool bar with amazing vibes! Travis is a cocktail master. Fantastic service. It has a cute patio area with heaters. Loved the Prairie Flower cocktail but they also have a good beer selection. We did not eat, but will be back for that!
google avatar

Jean T.

Yelp
I'd never been before but came for happy hour with some friends and had such a great time. The vibes are incredible and everyone seemed to be having such a great time. My usual gin & tonic was delicious and the cheese board was a hit with our group. The bartenders are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Even though parking can be scarce, it didn't take us long to find a spot. We had the best time and can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
I want to love Otto's so badly. The best experience I had here was for happy hour. It wasn't busy and they had some good deals. Sadly, whenever I've been on a busy weekend, it has not impressed me. The other weekend I came with 2 friends around 5pm on a Saturday. Our first round of drinks came and one was wrong and one was very bad, so we had to send 2 back. The service was very slow. Our server mentioned this was the second time someone had sent back a Painkiller that night (and it was only 5pm). I feel like they should warn people when they order the painkiller! Our second round of drinks came and 2 of us got dirty Shirley's. They had so much grenadine they were undrinkable. I really want to love this place because I love supporting local businesses and there aren't a lot of cocktail bars in west Nashville. If I come back it will be for happy hour!
google avatar

Erin J.

Yelp
Great place for friends and drinks! The service was fantastic. Only had chips and queso so can't say much about the food (it was delicious) - but a fun vibe.
google avatar

Alley F.

Yelp
Best cocktail bar in all of west Nashville! An old auto shop turned to a bar and it's truly the most unique spot! Drinks are incredible, they bring in food trucks on the weekends, and the ambiance is incredible day and night. The have a little patio which is perfect for day drinks on the weekend. I am eager to try them out for a taco Tuesday!
google avatar

Justin B.

Yelp
Second time going to ottos and probably won't be returning. Ordered a manhattan(9 dollars on menu) for the bartender to give me a barely stirred, borderline lukewarm 14 dollar Manhattan. Skeevy switcharoo of the pricing and a overall meh vibe. Even Nashville can do better lol
google avatar

Rachel N.

Yelp
Found our new neighborhood cocktail bar. Loved the ambiance. Bartenders were super knowledgeable and made killer drinks. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Hannah W.

Yelp
Otto's is so cool. It's packed on the weekends and hard to enjoy, but perfect for meeting up with friends on a weeknight. I hate to be this unfair but 4 stars for being popular. The small space provides a great, intimate atmosphere on off nights. For the same reason, weekends are a bad bet. Otto's deserves the benefit of its intended experience. Large crowds completely overwhelm the casual & intimate atmosphere that make it so attractive in the first place.
google avatar

Jenn S.

Yelp
Worst experience we have had in this area. First one bartender for the entire place. Second we sat at the bar and he waited on several people that walked up to the bar after we sat down. We also ordered the happy hour cheese plate and got charged for a large. When you get your check it's just a total not itemized which is never a good sign. We would have had more drinks had service been better. But I do not recommend this place and I will never return. Avoid avoid avoid
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
If you're looking for some high quality food and drinks, this is the place to go! Otto's is a pretty new business partner with their sister location, Headquarters Coffee, right down the street. This is def one of those places you want to visit when you want to splurge and go out with your friends on a weekend, though. $7.50 for a somewhat small basket of fries with beef/chicken/vegan meat, sour cream, cilantro, pico, and jalapeños on top, but then again they were REALLY good for some bar food. Also got the Painkiller and killer rabbit drinks to go along with my meal which were both very good as well.

Tess V.

Yelp
Best nachos in town! Come here often with friends for their Wine Wednesday deal too. We love this place!
google avatar

Kendall R.

Yelp
This is my best friend's new favorite spot, so I had to check it out! It's a car garage turned bar and totally unassuming from the outside by the inside is SO cool! There's also a really lovely outdoor patio. I would love to come back and try a different drink, but unfortunately the pain killer didn't do it for me. The $14 price tag hurt a little bit, not going to lie. However, the people who worked here were all so nice.
google avatar

J J.

Yelp
Service was great and the food was delicious. The business was clean and well kept. I recommend this business.
google avatar

Bradley A.

Yelp
5 star ratings require 3 things: Service, Scene, Selection. This place has all 3. The service crew has personality, knowledge and genuine interest in you having a good time. Do yourself a favor and ask for Sebastian if you are at the bar. The scene is dimly lit, variety of seating situations to fit your crew both indoor and outdoor. The selection is limited, in my opinion, by design. The nachos (chicken & beef) are a 10/10.
google avatar

Kirsten P.

Yelp
Love this bar. This was the second time my husband and I have stopped by and it was amazing both times. Their espresso martini is one of the best I've ever had (maybe THE best.) My husband really enjoyed his old fashioned as well - said it was strong but balanced. Our friend said her spicy marg was SPICY but delicious! The service is great, the tunes are on point, and the drinks are phenomenal - fresh and quality ingredients. The environment is relaxed and inviting. Perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. The patio is super cute too! It looks unassuming from the outside but it's well worth the visit. Especially for their happy hour (wine and cheese - need I say more!) IMPORTANT NOTE: I also found out that the cat mascot is a real cat. Just ask about it. #catladiesunite
google avatar

Stephanie B.

Yelp
This is a great place to grab a drink and some nachos (their vegan nachos are really good). They have an outdoor, dog friendly patio that is really cute. Service is usually pretty good.
google avatar

Darrika M.

Yelp
We were recommended this bar by some friends and it did not disappoint! The cocktails were great and they also had a yummy list of food options that was able to accommodate vegans and vegetarians. We ordered the Painkiller and Prairie Flower along with an order of vegetarian tacos. Everything was solid including their service. I also liked the fact that their patio area was covered so we were able to sit outside when when it was raining a bit. I'll definitely be back to try more cocktails.
google avatar

Casey I.

Yelp
This is 100% my kind of place! The look of it is cool--very unassuming from the outside, but the inside is plant & lounge furniture heaven! I love the menu, including the well done "vaccine" drink haha! Our waiter was a little unorganized, leading us to receiving white wine instead of rose... but luckily I'm not one of really be stirred up by such a thing. Wine is wine sometimes! It was a busy weekend so I understand his feelings, plus we still got all of our stuff in a timely manner. My spicy margarita was perfect... time to try some of their tacos next!

Anna J.

Yelp
Good atmosphere and service. We came for wine Wednesday and had a great time. Hidden gem.
google avatar

Gary A.

Yelp
Never have been willing to try a Vegan Burger! Okay, if you are like me, "Give one a chance!"
google avatar

Virginia L.

Yelp
I checked out this place last night and loved it. I think it will be my new "go-to" spot. The decor was nice and I liked the outdoor space. Bartender was great and they had Homestyle on draft so that is always a win in my book.
google avatar

Adam N.

Yelp
Cool bar. Fun theme. Extremely awesome staff!!Seriously middle of the road drinks. Ran out of food by 8:30 on a Saturday night. It's nice to sit on the porch when it's nice out.
google avatar

Kate T.

Yelp
What a fun spot! We went here for drinks after dinner and had a great time! The location is great- this part of town needed a cool spot like this! Plenty of seating but still an intimate vibe, and the patio was covered and heated but still felt like a patio. The seats were comfy at first- by the end of our evening, we were eyeing options that weren't the tall barstools we were sitting on; next time I might ask to sit inside. The drinks were unique and very well made. We didn't order food, but the food menu seems great for a happy hour or late night snacks. I'm excited that I discovered this place and can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
We were disappointed with the smoking environment. Gorgeous evening so I understand why the doors were open to the patio, but this welcomed the smokers outside to ruin our indoor experience. Not sure I'll be back if the patio doors are open. We stayed for one drink and would have stayed for more if we weren't inhaling smoke. It's 2021, why not just keep the entire bar nonsmoking??

Leslie H.

Yelp
Love this place, and the owners are super friendly. Perfect balance of lounge hang with NYC side street neighborhood bar vibe feel. Also a large deck area. Amzing taco bites and cocktails. A must go to in West Nash.

Jess W.

Yelp
If I could describe Ottos in one word, it would be FABULOUS. The staff is outstanding, drinks are delicious, and the aura of the building screams authentic. It is a cozy space with bartenders who truly care about all of their customers and it shows through the outstanding service. Every time I go the experience just gets better and better... Dare I say, it feels like home away from home! Love your long time customer Rebekka.
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot to hang out. Their outside patio is perfect for a girls night out or for a date night. Their drinks are amazing, their cocktails are strong but also yummy! We tried their queso and guacamole both are satisfying. I recommend this place whether you're showing around your visitors or just wanting to visit new places around town.

Lanae W.

Yelp
Literally stood at the bar at waited five minutes while the bar tenders just looked at me with my credit card and ID in hand. UNBELIEVABLE. Wouldn't take more order or speak to me. Smelled like homeless person from the moment I walked in and I won't be returning.

Lauren A.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Friendly service, amazing food (photo for proof), and well crafted cocktails. Highly recommend this to anyone in the area wanting to try someplace new especially if you like tacos.
