"The vibe at this Edgewood Avenue bar will vary, which is why Our Bar is always a fun night out. Roll the dice and you might get a clubby night with a full dance floor and a dorm party feel, or a quieter evening with video games being played and an Uno tournament going on. Live drummers even make karaoke much more of an experience. Check their IG if you actually want to know what you’re in for, but for us the mystery is part of the fun. Just make sure to snap a pic of the ‘Dis ATL Hoe’ neon sign out front—it’s an Edgewood rite of passage." - nina reeder, juli horsford, jacinta howard
"Cost: Free (with optional $5-$10 skip-the-next-singer passes) This always lively bar on Edgewood Avenue is all about community. And nothing encapsulates that come-one-come-all spirit better than Our Bar’s Sunday night karaoke sessions. Sometimes you're backed by a live drummer, maybe a stranger will join as your hypeman, but it's a guarantee that there'll be dancing and fully committed call-and-response participation. Rotating kitchen pop-ups supply the food while a busy bar keeps you fueled with the liquid courage you need to take on that Keith Sweat song with nary a fumble. Snap a pic of the ‘Dis ATL Hoe’ neon sign out front—it’s a rite of passage." - juli horsford, nina reeder
"It’s called Our Bar for a reason—they’re constantly hosting events to bring the community together. So, the vibe here will vary depending on if it's a rowdy Edgewood Idol karaoke evening, a clubby night, or random kid-friendly daytime event (their IG will light the way). Even when the DJ’ed tunes get every single body moving, the small space never feels cramped. It reminds us more of an old school dorm commons, except with string lights on the ceiling and rotating pop-ups cooking up late-night eats. On more relaxed nights, you’ll see your fellow drinkers playing Uno, spades, Connect 4, or video games on the TVs. Just make sure to snap a pic of the ‘Dis ATL Hoe’ neon sign out front—it’s an Edgewood rite of passage." - juli horsford
"This Edgewood Avenue bar and hookah lounge is open for late-night drinks, dancing, and food with fun handheld bites such as egg rolls, quesadillas, salmon sandwiches, wraps, and wings. According to Chef Trey, some nights even call for special dishes like a fried lobster tail with sweet potato cornbread. Our Bar is open Monday through Saturday until 2:30 a.m. and Sunday until 12 a.m." - Eater Staff
"Every Sunday night, from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., this Edgewood Avenue bar hosts a karaoke night with pop-up chefs slinging food from the kitchen. As for songs to choose from, there’s everything from Paramore, Panic at the Disco, and Queen to George Benson, Jeffrey Osborne, and Teena Marie. 21+" - Eater Staff
