Absolutely loved my experience at Green Affair in Solana Beach. The vibe is effortlessly cool, the ingredients feel thoughtful and fresh, and everything is executed with real care. But the real standout? The steak sandwich — hands down the best I’ve ever tried. Perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and unforgettable. This place is doing something special. Highly recommend. Jeannette, the owner, is great!

Went to breakfast with my mom and we've been waiting to try this place! We shared breakfast sandwich, got a pastry & I got a banana cream coffee smoothie! The cafe itself was super clean & the food looked properly handled. The staff was really kind! My breakfast sandwich was really tasty, I loved the different meats & we added avocado. So good! The winner was the banana cream coffee will definitely be coming back for that!

Ambiance was great! Loved the drinks. We didn’t have to wait long for the food. They delivered our drinks to another table and we had to ask for them. There were dirty dishes stacked around with flies hovering around. Maybe they were short staffed 🤷‍♀️ The food did not deliver on flavor. The pancakes were dry and the cream had a weird texture. We left it half uneaten. The refried beans were good but there was slight bitterness in the omelette.

You absolutely have to check out this place! Jackie, the owner, is such a bubbly and friendly person—she really makes you feel welcome. I tried the "Bean There Done That" bowl with added salmon, and it was a fantastic, healthy choice! The protein pancakes 🥞 🥞 🥞 were a delightful surprise—so fluffy and soft, I could eat them every day! And let me tell you, their Chagaccino coffee ☕ ☕ is to die for! I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Can't wait to go back!

Ladies and gents this fantastic place in Solana Beach is a must! Their food is fresh, healthy AND absolutely delicious. Let's not forget to mention their OVER THE TOP service and attention. They always remember my name and order and greet me and my son with the most amazing smile and joy. Please do yourselves the favor and order everything but my favorites are the citrus celery juice, the turkey sandwich with chipotle, the nopal with cheese, the protein pancakes and of course their protein chocolate donut dessert. I would also like to mention that I did an event brunch with them and they went over the top with all the food, service and presentation for their catering as well so I would also recommend them for your next event! OGA I wish you had more than one location I can't get enough of this place!

What a gem! I had the breakfast sandwich with avocado, which comes on perfectly. Grilled sourdough melted mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, tomato and pesto. It is fantastic! I also had their mushroom coffee latte which was really pleasant and delicious. Recommend everything across the board. Check it out when you're in Solana.

We love stopping by this place when we are in the area. This time we came for breakfast on the weekend. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, acai bowl, and kids acai bowl. The food was great as always. Highly recommended!

Came here with my mom the other day and it was a cute cafe with lots of yummy looking options. Mom and I split the steak sandwich and it was so good as were the potatoes. Very filling. They also gave us a sample of their peanut butter mint smoothie - also very good, may have to get that next time or one to-go. Mom really liked it and wants to go again! Staff super nice and very clean.

Great find after a soccer tourney with the kids. In the name of healthy -- Best sandwiches/salad place in a very long time! Certainly beats many of the California bay area ones easy: The steak wrap plus the berry smoothie leaves you slurping. The staff was super nice, patient and accommodating. If only this place was closer!

This place makes some pretty good food. A friend and I stopped in for lunch. He ordered the Turkey Delight and I had the Breakfast Sandwich. I thought prices were a little high for a breakfast sandwich at $18.50. I do have to say, although there was a lot going on inside the breakfast sandwich, it was very tasty. I came on an artisan sourdough toast, and with scrambled organic eggs, a pesto spread on the bread, mozzarella cheese, sliced turkey, which rather surprised me, bacon, roasted tomatoes, and a touch of mayo. What stood out to me was the quality of the sourdough bread, the pesto spread, which tasted great, and the bacon, which was of very good quality. It tasted great. I liked the sandwich very much. My friend like the turkey delight as well, but he was not pleased that they did not slice his sandwich in half like they did mine. I agreed with him that it was odd that they did not do that. At the counter, there was this young lady by the name of "Erica." She was great and full of positive energy. She was super friendly too with a good sense of humor.

I ordered the acai bowl And the Shake Your Cauliflower salad. The açaí was icy and a hard clump like it was scooped straight from an acai sherbet or something, I eat acai bowls Allen over SoCal and Hawaii and this one disappointed the most. I was hoping to get something different than my regular spot in Cardiff but I found I missed my Cardiff bowl. The salads dressing was so bad I wondered if it was wandered down olive oil with a touch of spices. Meh. Left me wanting to get food elsewhere, Staff was nice,

I got a coupon for a free drink with food purchase and so did my daughter so we decided to check out this "new to us" spot. We were very impressed with the display of fresh produce. The menu looked amazing! service was so friendly. they had a few indoor seats and some seats on the outdoor patio. drinks were actually smoothies... she got the Match Avocado smoothie ...very unique and tasty. I got The Raspberry Coconut smoothie...loved this even more I want to try the Curcumango next time! Food ... she got the acai bowl...best I've ever had! it had greek yogurt topped with açaí then bananas, berries, green apples, cashews and other sprinkles. I wasn't as adventurous ..I ordered a teak wrap. I loved it but I went with my usual type of order vs trying something new. 100% would go back.

I had seen this place pulling a permit for a while. We stopped in around 1:30p. My husband ordered the steak sandwich and will confirm my bite was so good! I had a turmeric latte since I already had lunch. The service is amazing even though you order at the counter. She saw me take a bite of my husband's food (because I always have to try things) and was concerned they missed my order. When back in town we will try this place again!

The salads here are amazing! If I could eat every meal here I would. The flavors are unique and delicious, and the food is completely guilt free for the health conscience... but you can't tell. It's SO GOOD! On top of it they have the friendliest service. I've been coming for a while now and just so glad to have quick healthy tasty options that are as delicious as they come.

We had such a delicious meal here! Everything from smoothies and coffee to wraps and pancakes looked amazing and tasted yummy! Ladies were so friendly, suggestive and quick! We had 4yo and 1yo kids and were so pleased with healthy options for them! Kids ate everything and we know they can be so picky. We quickly ate our food too I regret not taking a photo but trust me it looked so appetizing! We highly recommend trying it if you are in town and wishing this place success and lots of customers!

I absolutely love this place. This is a great lunch spot for me and whichever one of my coworkers I drag along! The food is phenomenal. Everything is very fresh and light. It doesn't make you extremely tired after. The ingredients are fresh, and there are many well balanced options with different proteins! The service is amazing as well. The women here are so sweet and have the most incredible energy. They leave a lasting impression on you. As soon as you walk in, the vibes are phenomenal. You're greeted with a warm welcome and a beautiful smile. Overall very uplifting, there is limited seating inside. However, they have a lot of seating and tables outside to enjoy your meals and get some vitamin D! Specifically, I am married to the grilled cheese and roasted tomato soup as well as the steak sandwich and the crispy tuna rice salad. Those three are usually accompanied by one of their mango smoothies, even though I'm sure all of them are phenomenal. That one has the key to my heart. I highly recommend coming by. You will definitely not regret it.

The service here is great with very personable and friendly staff thanking you for visiting. The ambiance is cozy and simple. The Hot Chick was our favorite dish with an impeccable avocado, plenty of greens, and perfectly crispy chips. The sauce was well spread with no piece left behind. The dollops of goat cheese were scrumptious surprises hidden in the greens. The chicken was a tad dry for our taste, and the sauce was a bit thinner than we'd prefer. The Greens Sandwich was a bit too green for our taste, but what did we expect?! Order this if you want a salad in a sandwich

The owner welcomed us in and we dove into conversation without hesitation. The owner and her sisters run a tidy and great looking cafe. The food is amazing and their recommendations were all perfect. I wish i lived closer so this could be my daily spot. Finding food this healthy gets harder and harder to find and the pricing here was not gouged at all. Fair pricing for food this good and the owner being down to earth, makes me and my wife want to come back asap.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the food was fresh and delicious. Lots of great options between vegan or vegetarian or protein lovers. Had a delicious wrap with fresh Herbs and veggies, and it was both filling and delicious. Highly recommend. We sat outside after a hike and enjoyed a great meal !

This place is absolutely delicious. I had the greens sandwiched and a pineapple Maca drink. Yummy!! Sorry I ate my sandwich before I could take a picture. The staff is super friendly and very informative.

This place is sensational! We had lunch here before and loved it, so wanted to try out the breakfast. The food looked even better than the photos when it came to the table and was absolutely delicious. We got the breakfast wrap and the breakfast sandwich, both 10/10! So friendly, fast and fantastic. Highly recommend!! Worth every penny.

Had such a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, fresh and healthy with great pricing! The owner is so friendly and she gave the cafe such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Had some really lovely conversations with her and when our food arrived it was amazing. We will definitely be back! :)

This is really great healthy food with a Mexican flair. Menu is diverse with bowls, smoothies, wraps, salads, sandwiches and yummy desserts. Family owned and run. Large shareable portions and they cater! Gluten-free awareness and accommodation easy.

I had the opportunity to stop at our green affair on my way down to San Diego. They have a great menu available with a variety of well crafted drinks. I recommend their iced matcha latte. The girl who took my order was really helpful and kind. I like how the cafe has a lot of windows letting in the light from the outside and brings in life into the cafe.

The "Thai Me Up" is my favorite salad in San Diego. Amazingly fresh food and wonderful customer service. I'm always here

I got the Thai Me Up salad and an iced tea. Both items were quite tasty. It came out to 21 bucks. Prices are a little steep, but honestly on par with most places these days. The employees were kind and bubbly and had my online order ready pretty quickly. There is limited seating inside, but there are a decent amount of outside tables with umbrellas.

We were craving a delicious lunch and something also healthy and this place hit the spot! Everything we ordered tasted amazing.. from the Thai me up wrap with avocado, breakfast sandwich, grilled cheese for the kids, and citrus celery juice with spirulina! You know it's really good when even my daughter loved the celery juice and doesn't really like her veggies! :) We will definitely be back!

Wow!! This place is so cute and the people working here were amazing. Was greeted with a smoothie sample when I came in. I came in for coffee and didn't realize they sold primarily smoothies, but Jackie and Luis jumped in offering to make me an impromptu latte and IT WAS AMAZING!!! Absolutely love!!! Will be back

3 month old business that I'm so happy to see in the neighborhood & on my way home! It is a mixture of food to go, healthy delicious mixtures & they offer smoothies, drinks, and an array of good food. I'll be back for sure!

I ordered a wrap to go from here - and it was lights out good. Pretty easy to order online, and the location is within a fairly busy strip mall type area. No issue finding parking, and my order was ready when I arrived. I went with the Hot Chick - which you can get as a salad, or a wrap. It came with heaping amounts of spinach, quinoa, brown rice, black beans, carrots, cilantro, goat cheese, tomatoes, roasted corn, tortilla chips, avocado, hot chicken, with Caeser dressing. All of those flavors, together, are quite good. It's very generously portioned, so ate one half, then the other half later. Highly suggest if you're looking for lunch that's on the healthier side.

Many places claim to be fresh and healthy, but this place is legit! So many options.. there's something for everyone. Every item is loaded with fresh ingredients- so come hungry! And leave satisfied!

Glad to have a new fresh place to eat in this complex! Cute names and pretty store front too! Now for the food, I ordered the salad "bean there done that". It was fresh and tasty with a side of chicken added. Wasn't something I couldn't have made at home tho. Prices are on the higher side (as with many places these days and especially organic fresh spots) but if price doesn't phase you then you'll enjoy this little place. Next time I'll try one of their toasts and maybe a smoothie! Staff was friendly and manager was helpful.

Found this place through Yelp! Came here after a hike in Torrey pines. We ordered the chilaquiles, steak sandwich, and orange juice. Service was great, we were acknowledged right away, everyone was very friendly, & ambiance was trendy and inviting. Great place to try if you're in the area. Highly recommend the steak sandwich!

The food is good but service lacksadaisical. I ordered online and came to pick up. The shop was empty except for one patron. I gave my name, the young lady checked and said the order is being made, so I sat and waited. 15 minutes later, several other people came and went and got their food. I asked her again. She asked my name again (why? I just gave it to you?). She checked and saw my bag had been sitting right at the cash register for who knows how long. She handed it to me and with a half-ass apology which was really an excuse, "Sorry I thought I called your name." I certainly did not hear her call anything, and the shop was virtually empty (only me and another person in the restaurant) so no way she said it and I didn't hear. This person paid zero attention and couldn't care less if I ever got my food. I won't be returning.

Family-owned where service and food matter. I had their green sandwich with egg and it was super tasty. The vegan mayo and dressing add the right amount of zing. The staff and owner are very caring and want to ensure perfection. We need more small business cafes like this!!!

Solid chicken pesto sandwich. Wife had the soup and grilled cheese - be prepared, it is really cheesy but if you like that type, this is going to be up your alley. Super friendly service on top of great food, what more can you ask for?

This place has THE BEST açaí Bowl. Even my daughter said so. Their pancakes are incredible as well. Fresh squeezed orange juice is served here. I highly recommend this place. Great food, great service, easy access and you can order online.

Happened to be in the area, hungry, and the name caught my eye. Wow! Small sized place but good sized menu and HUGE flavor! Had the Crispy Bacon Bahn Mi and it was delicious. So many ingredients, perfect balance of flavors and bread that could hold up to it all. Will absolutely come back for more. Well done, Ladies!!

My partner read an article about these ladies opening in Solana Beach and we've been wanting to give it a try .. well are we ever glad we did ! This is our new neighborhood cafe :) the energy from the minute you hit the door is just a delight ! And man does the food ever reflect that .. it was fast ,fresh ,beautiful and delish :) can't wait to try more things and do NOT skip the corn ribs omg sooo good .

Amazing lunch/brunch spot!! I wish I lived nearby and was able to easily come back and try other options from the menu. When we walked in this morning, the woman at the register (I think her name was Jeanette) warmly greeted us and offered us samples of the red velvet smoothie (delicious btw). Phenomenal first impression! My boyfriend and I both got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque, and it was the perfect comfort food we craved on a cloudy morning. I think it was mozzarella used in the grilled cheese or maybe a blend of some other white, mild cheese as well, sandwiched between slice of rosemary/rye bread. Basically an elevated grilled cheese. We also got OJ, which tasted freshly squeezed, and the almond butter cacao smoothie, which was delicious and filling on its own too. The food came out pretty quickly, and all the staff we met were lovely. I want to give a huge shoutout to Jeanette! She seems like such a ray of light. It's a small restaurant with two or three indoor tables, one of which we were sitting at, so we heard every conversation with each customer very easily. Jeanette was so friendly and genuine with everyone, and we really appreciated the ambiance her kindness created. Thank you for such an unexpectedly lovely lunch experience :)

Came across this it's new Cafe in Solana Beach. They were having their soft opening and can't wait to come back. My wife, friend, and I ordered the Chilaquiles Omelette (AMAZING!!!), Hot Breakfast Wrap which has crusted cheese on outside and was delicious, Green Shakahuka. To drink we got the matcha and avocado smoothie which was amazing! My wife got the Goldenmilk Latte and was out of the world. This place does things right. Perfect spot for a weekend brunch.

The Green Affair is absolutely the best new arrival in Solana Beach, CA, for lunchtime. The staff is friendly and makes you feel like family. Kinda like the ole TV series, Cheer's where you feel at home cause evebody knows your name!

Seriously one of the best clean places to eat in San Diego! There are so many amazing options. I got the steak sandwich and a side salad and it was delicious! The garlic aioli is chefs kiss! The owners are two sweet amazing women who make the vibe of the place so fun! I will be coming back often. More people need to know about this place!!!
