"Sadly, the majority of Chicagoans haven’t tried the chicken wings from Output Lounge. The original in West Town is a stone’s throw away from the United Center. Hopefully that changes this season as Output’s second location is just north of Wrigley in a space briefly held by WHISK. Output’s wings are moist and have a perfect balance of heat and acidity with a variety of sauces, though classic Buffalo is strong. With this new high-profile location, more sports fans will get to taste some of the best wings in Chicago." - Ashok Selvam
"The variety of wings at Output puts most spots to shame, with unique sauce flavors like lemon pepper and roasted garlic barbecue. It’s right near the United Center in West Town. There’s also a location close to Wrigley Field. This might be the best “traditional” wing in town." - Ashok Selvam
"We were floored after trying the wings at Output in West Town. We expected the typical, slightly boring wings you normally find at sports bars. Instead, every flavor was a knockout. In particular, the savory lemon pepper and the roasted garlic BBQ. They’re so flavorful that extra dipping sauces are unnecessary. In fact, don’t even finish reading this guide, get up and go there now." - adrian kane, phaithe norman, john ringor
"For their fourth local stop, Lee and his family accepted an invitation to this 13-year-old sports bar in West Town that already has a reputation for top-notch chicken wings. In a review posted on Saturday, July 27, Lee reports spending $48.50 and wastes no time diving straight into a 10-piece order of sweet ‘n spicy wings, which earned rave 9.2 out of 10 reviews from all involved for their crispy exterior and tasty sauce, improved only by the addition of ranch. “Food in general in Chicago is saucy,” Lee observes. “Everything [is] drenched, loaded — lathered, if you would.” A straightforward salmon burger was well-seasoned and would have earned an 8 out of 10, but Lee docks points for dripping wet lettuce, leaving it with 5.6 out of 10. He rounds out the lineup with beer-battered onion rings, which turn out to be a surprise hit at 7.7 out of 10." - Naomi Waxman
"This bar, a short walk from the United Center, wasn’t the most friendly until recently when owners realized it was sitting on a gold mine thanks to its chicken wing recipes. Output’s wings are among the best in the city, and the classic Buffalo style is hard to beat." - Eater Staff
