Output Lounge & Sports Bar (Wrigleyville)

If your expecting this location to be like the original location on the West side let me save you a trip. It's obvious this was a previously spot that was an old bar. Its kind of dingy and small I was so surprised that the bar was not brought back to life with some class and style. But the look isn't what I was displeased with it was the food. Output has a hefty delicious menu and the effort to bring plates out of the kitchen to satisfied that craving when you want to eat there is what brought me to this location when I was in the area. I was with a friend and said "you have to eat their wings and shrimp because it's the best at Output". How disappointing we both were when we got our food. The shrimp was so over cooked that biting into the shrimp was horrible. Too hard to really get past the breading and when I did the meat was just chewy and dry. Our wings were just ordinary and blend. Waitress got our sauce messed up so I'm not even sure what we attempted to eat. 70.00 for 1 order of shrimp, 5 wings with fries and a pitcher of Blue Moon left me angry and still hungry because we could not and did not get to eat what we paid for because it was all Junk! We all would be better off going to a place like Popeyes chicken then wasting time with this location. Travel to the one on Grand Ave because that's the one that's worth it. Theres one in Berwyn and if I'm ever in the area I will give that one a shot ... Stay tuned!

If you’re serious about wings, Output Chicago is the spot. The wings are consistently crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Their sauces actually stand out—bold, balanced, and not just heat for the sake of heat. You can tell they put real thought into seasoning and quality. The vibe is laid-back but energetic, making it a great place to catch a game or just hang out with friends. Service is fast and friendly, even when they’re busy, and the food always comes out hot and fresh. Chicago has no shortage of wing places, but Output separates itself by being reliable, flavorful, and worth coming back to. Easily one of the better wing joints in the city—highly recommend.

Stopped in for wings before a concert. Wing sauce varieties were creative. Opted for the grilled wings which took longer to prepare but were worth it. Waitress told us they took longer when we ordered them, and we were fine with that. Strong cocktails. Good beer list. Really friendly service, like best waitress ever!

Heard so much about this place I been wanting to try the wings for some time now. I must say that I was very disappointed. I ordered through uber eats and paid for priority delivery so it can get delivered directly to me with no stops. I recieved the food very fast but was very disappointed. Although the wings were hot, they tasted dry and hard as if they were over cooked or sitting for a long time and reheated. Not sure but I purchased 30 wings and cheese fries. The fries were soggy and the cheese was hard. $100 down the drain but never again.

The wings were good. The service was slow, but I can’t fault them too much because it was a Cubs game, however, it was 2 1/2 hours before the first pitch and they weren’t that busy. I ended up spending $30 for five wings, french fries, and one beer. All in all, it was fine, and if you’re in the mood for wings and you’re in Wrigleyville, by all means you should go, but be prepared to pay Wrigleyville prices.

Outstanding service. The bartender Jasmin took great care of us. She was fast and attentive and made amazing drinks. We definitely got our money worth. They aren't that pricey either with great food.

Well what can i say! Had 10 Original Hot / 10 Spicy BBQ Came because of all the hype and def dint disappoint on the wings. Sauce Level was balance ,crispy not over the top dry. Overall a 9 ,but what disappointed me was the loaded Tater Tots (in my opinion) they just need a little more cook time. But overall would comeback just for the wings.

Service here was below average in my opinion, but the wings were incredible. We got 30 traditional wings and the flavors we had were the lemon pepper, sweet and spicy, and BBQ. My favorite was the lemon pepper dry seasoning and they do it right here.

Always have a great time when my wife and I make it out to Output in Wrigleyville! Just about a block and a half away from the stadium, you'll find a two room bar and restaurant with delicious wings, and fantastic vibes. Trumpy often works behind the bar, and is a super nice dude with some dope T-shirts. He always takes care of his regulars and is a great hang! Trigger Warning open mic is every Monday at 10 PM here, and we always have a great time starting our week with a trip here for comedy.

Was excited to try Output given its reputation as a place that had great wings. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. Let's start with opening time. When you advertise that your establishment opens at a certain time, don't open an hour later. Further to this, when it did open, the kitchen wasn't ready for another 30 minutes. I don't mind waiting but offer your customers something complimentary for being patient. Now on to the wings - not sure that they were anywhere close to 'award winning' and more like middle of the road. Limited flavor and no heat. Service was good - the bartender and manager were friendly and attentive.

Still one of the best places for wings! Great bartenders and service! I always stop on when I am in Wrigleyville!

This place really surprised me with their bar burger. Not one to order late night food at a bar, this burger was so good I had to share. Plus, it comes with garlic parm fries (can't go wrong there). If you are in Wriggly, definitely check this place out. Good drinks, and also serve wings. They have some fun themed nights as well, so if you find yourself in Wriggly NOT for a Cubs game, I would still stop by to see what's happening.

My husband heard this place had good wings. We've stopped by a few times but they've always been closed. We were out for a walk yesterday & they were open so we stopped in. Ordered 10 wings. Half mild, half garlic parm. Big, crispy, juicy wings. Very delicious. Will definitely return for wings.

So sad Full Schilling closed... but now we are happy to see Trumpy at Output!!!!! Haven't tried the wings yet... but looking forward to it!!

These wings are elite. It's not a stretch to say they may be the best I've ever had. Honestly might come back today for a second pass because they were a hit. The service was just okay. Very busy so I totally get it. The ambience is a decent vibe. They serve old style here too which is a major plus. They've got a loyal customer in me. I am hooked.

Once again... Should have taken the Yelp reviews seriously. Bar was dirty. Portions small. Overpriced. Food super greasy... Like sitting in a pool of grease on your plate. A well bloody Mary that was in a 6oz cup packed with ice was $12. WTF. The onion rings were in a pool of oil and had little flavor. We also shared some wings... These were decent.. definitely not the best but good. I wouldn't come back and I wouldn't recommend it.

This was next door to Metro (concert venue) so popped in after a concert to grab some quick food and a drink or two. We ordered the breaded shrimp, fried mushrooms, and fried pickles. The food was decent, there weren't many drink options, the service was very slow. It was only a couple people working but not many customers. I would give it another chance if I was in the area though. Very cleanly bathrooms, covid measures seem to be mask unless you're sitting down

My husband and I came to Output before a Cubs game. It was SO good. Great atmosphere, especially before a game, with open doors/window concept and music. Lots of TVs. We loved the vibe. The food was great. Cheese fries were amazing. The wings are big and delicious. They definitely don't short you on the size of the wings. Wish we could have taken left overs because I would have had some! Portion sizes were great. Staff were kind, bathrooms were super nice (bonus points for me!), and we were happy with our choice to come here before the game.

Stopped in to watch a game and had a great time. The food was fresh, the drinks were affordable, and I received great service from the bartender who I think was named Emily. Definitely coming back.

Please update your hours.. we traveled down on a Sunday afternoon.. and to our surprised you were closed and we were highly disappointed

Delivery Order never arrived. Apparently it's an ongoing issue. So many better reliable places- don't go it.

The music was fun so that's why we went in to check it out. The staff was very friendly and the customers were nice as well. I felt like the prices were sort of high and we weren't told about any specials.

Wings were good. Although the hot bbq sauce was heavily applied. Made for a lot of taking some off but that's my preference for wings. Garlic fries were very tasty and it all carried out well and was still very hot when I got home. Would def try another of flavor of wings.

Drinks were good and all but I ordered a 8PC mild wings. After receiving them we noticed they were raw. We told the server and all he said was "wow that's never happened before" and didn't do anything about it.

This place ticks all the boxes for me. It's divey but not trashy, the food is awesome, prices are reasonable, and the service was good. We had the traditional wings with sweet and spicy, original hot, and fire sauces. The wings were excellent and each of the sauces were great. We also had the fresh cut fries, which were also very good. Only downside is that they don't have malt vinegar for the fries. I'll definitely return when I'm in town again.

Output brings amazings wings to Wrigleyville! Must admit, not a fan of this baseball team here but when my Sox are here, I'm in. Eddie hit a homer with his 2nd Output location. Wings are phenomenal as always, wish there was an Output on 35th and Shields!! The local team may not lure me to the area but the wings will. Good job Eddie, see you soon!!

What a pleasant surprise in Wrigleyville! The food was fantastic. You must try the wings! The drinks are reasonably priced and the service was impeccable. Eddie the bartender was great. We had such a great time this is going to be our new spot during football season. If you're in Wrigleyville and you want great food and great drinks you should give this place a try.

I rarely give five stars but this place was great! Maybe I hit it right but I was walking Wrigleyville looking for a great burger before the game and settled on this place since it was empty ( ( game was a rescheduled Cub/ Dodger washout so not all bars and restaurants open) but an interesting burger menu. I ordered the cheesy. Great choice suggested by the manager. Stuffed with cheese as well as a slice on top. Lettuce onions, etc. were crispy and fresh. Fries were crispy and although they gave me ketchup, the aioli was the perfect condiment. Didn't ask how I wanted it cooked but came medium to medium rare and so juicy - it ran down my fingers to my wrist. Perfect. Got to come back for the wings that they are really known for.

This is not OUTPUT WINGS on Grand. This was our first time at this location. Extremely disappointing. This place was DEAD. On a Friday night. We where there from 6:45ish to 10 pm, when they closed. DEAD bro. We felt bad so we stayed. The drink menu was limited to ONLY beer. No cocktails. Food was Ok. But all we had was wings. The order didn't even come with fries. Smh.. But I've never seen such a dead space. Mind you, yes you still have covid and what not but other places are jammed packed NOT this place. It was our first and last time. Idk what this place did or what but maybe ONE or other groups was there for a little bit and then they left. Leaving my alone. Lol I feel bad but I definitely do not recommend this place. It's not even about the food, drinks whatever, just the fact that's youre out in Wrigleyville and this place is DEAD says something about this location. Something ain't right. *If your the business owner, I don't mean to put your location down, but I would definitely rethink the menu. I mean wings without fries? Beer ONLY? We had ladies with us, ladies like cocktails, mixes, females don't really like beer like that. Having literally 0 peolple in your restaurant should give you a hint something ain't right. Even the pick up/delivery orders, I think I only saw 5 ppl come in in 4 hours. Best of luck, but definitely not returning ever.

I used to LOVE this place. Was my favorite wing spot. Now they don't always follow their hourly schedule. I get covid and everything happening, But I placed an order 2 hours ago (7pm) and they just now canceled it. So I walked there (9pm) and they are closed when they say they are open till 2am. Why even take my order? This isn't the first time. Very disappointed.

Solid divey spot, friendly service. DJ was fire on Saturday night (hip hop). They had the UFC PPV streaming from alternative sources on most TVs , but did have two leGit streams in the back room. Fun time overall

It's your lucky day if someone pick up the phone for order ,and if some pick up they cannot hear you you have to repeat yourself one time they gave us wrong order good food but customer Service sucks kinda dirty too inside the bar

Waited 2 hours for delivery after order confirmation. Called them multiple times. GrubHub called them multiple times. No response. Terrible.

Yep, this is owned by the same owner as the Output Lounge on Grand ave! I've never been a fan of wings UNTIL I tried theirs. I'm so glad I did. Their wings are literally award winning, and they're now part of the Taste of Chicago food fest. The lemon pepper are too addicting. Save yourself some wait time and just order double the amount of wings you think you want. The bar is very blue collar friendly and offer union discounts occasionally (which is a plus for me since I'm a union trades worker). Weekday food and drink specials change daily.

Came in here for a quick bite, ordered wings and chilaquiles. The server was helpful and friendly. The wings were crispy and really good. The chilaquiles were tasty and had the perfect spice. We'll definitely be back.

Sofia from Output was the best! Very attentive to me and my party! We ordered a Rizz which is 44 wings with 2 sides and it was sensational! Would definitely reccomend to a friend and I'll be back to try the High Output Wings!!!

Went recently prior to Cubs night game. There was one waitress and one busser. Ordered a drink which was served in a plastic cup. Also ordered onion rings and grilled wings. Waitress spent most of her time in front of a computer. After a fairly long wait we were served the onion rings, which were not even close to crispy. A short while later the grilled wings arrived via the busser. They were large and plump but again no crispness to the skin - almost soggy. Wing sauces (original Output Hot and High Output) were good. Perhaps an off night for the place. I would give it another try hoping for the "award winning wings."

Smitten by the wings. The staff treated us fantastically. The owner was operating turntables during lunch hour and played awesome music. I'm coming back again for sure.

Absolutely no one on staff was wearing masks (had them pulled down around their chin) when we came to pick up our food. When raised to a manager was dismissed. Very disappointed and will not be coming back.

I have been coming to Output for a while. My last visit was last Saturday. I had wings and they were amazing like always, lemon pepper is the best flavor in my eyes, the prices are very reasonable. The service is great, from the server, to the bartender, to the bus boy. The server was supper sweet and helpful, even tho it was a very busy night. The bartender makes some yummy drinks. The plus aka cherry on top is the music on Saturday nights, am always on the dance floor.

Don't waste your time ordering from here. You will wait and wait and wait and wait. You'll call and they won't pick up. Grubhub advised me that they have had issues with this institution. They went ahead and cancelled my order so I could be reimbursed in full. Sketchy. Order estimation was for 5:21-5:54 and I finally tried calling at 6:30pm.

The wings are pretty good. I got the jack daniels bbq. Or something like that and my boyfriend got mild. I honestly preferred his sauce more than my own, which is surprising cause I'm not a huge spicy wings kind of person. I LOVED the sweet potato fries. Our waitress recommended them and they were super good. We got an app too but I can't remember what it was. It was good tho

Output NEVER disappoints!! The wings are amazing and the service is too! Our server Sofia was so sweet and gave us the best recommendations! Her service was 10/10!! The food was also 10/10!! The original traditional wings are my fave! We will be back at this new location for sure!

I came to Output for the McGregor vs Cowboy UFC fight. The wings were great. But everything else about this place made it the worst experience I've ever had at a bar. Given that it was a pay-per-view event, you'd think the bar would have been fully staffed, but no - 1 bartender and 1 server for probably 200 patrons. We got a table and our server literally did not approach us once to take a drink or food order, or ask if we needed anything. I had to get up several times and place our orders with whatever staff member would lIsten because I did not even know who was our server. To make matters worse, they had to keep resetting the TV because the fights kept stopping like it was 1998 and they were using dial-up internet and someone picked up the phone which disconnected the service. Plus one TV was ahead of the other by about 30 seconds (when they were actually working) so half the room would cheer and the other half wouldn't know why. Finally when the main event was about to start, the server came - not to check on us, but to bring the bill! That was the first time she had approached us all night. When the fights ended, obnoxiously loud music started playing and it could not have been more out of place - a bunch of dudes who had just watched people beat the crap out of each other were not there to dance. We wanted to talk about the fight but I could only see my frIends lIps move, I couldn't hear anything they said, the music was deafening. Aside from the wings, everything about this place makes it the worst bar I've ever been to.

by far, the best chicken wings we've had in the midwest! the service, grub and selection of beer is always on point!
