Outsider Pizza - Review - Beacon Hill - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Outsider is a slice cart that someone stuck on the side of the road at Beacon Hill Station, and while they used to bake up fantastic personal pies topped with charred dough bubbles and freshly grated pecorino romano, things have changed since then. It's now a by-the-slice operation that serves pretty lackluster New York-style pizza. Nothing's overwhelmingly terrible about it, but much like slices you'd find at an airport kiosk (you know the ones, with names like "Via Piazza" or "Mamma Mia"), the sauce is overseasoned, there's too much cheese, and the crust doesn't have any flavor or bready chew. If you're in the neighborhood and are desperate for pizza, go to Bar Del Corso instead." - Aimee Rizzo

Excellent pizza! The crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, my favorite and they are not cheap with the toppings. I like that they also serve tacos. Staff is really cool. I had a hard time finding their new brick and mortar location and the lady waited outside for me. I will definitely be back.

I stopped by on my way to run some errands, the entrance is to the far left side nestled in the corner. The atmosphere was light and inviting, with candles around all the tables. I was immediately greeted and given the full menu breakdown. The food came out timely and well prepared. What I was most impressed by was the flavors that rushed into my mouth. The chicken was well seasoned and moist and the house sauce was full of flavor as well as heat. I will be returning soon. If you haven't checked them out, I would recommend giving them a go for sure!

We love this place! We came here on a recommendation and ordered the pizza which is very fresh and the chicken mole. Both were amazing!!

We’ve loved Outsider Pizza since it started as a food cart years ago. Delicious pizza and salads and excited to try their new offerings!

was sitting outside having some tacos and simply couldn’t resist giving a slice of pizza a try from this little street shop slinging the ‘za. i was very impressed by the high quality from top to bottom. cheese was flavorful, sauce was tangy, and crust was perfect. grab yourself a slice....no actually a whole pie!

Make no mistake. These guys make solid pizza, really great wings, and they do it with a small team out of a tent. Ordered a few pizzas and a ton of wings the day before the Superbowl for the big game and they delivered. Had it ready for pick up when we asked and were super accommodating even though we added to the order a handful of times before finally picking it up. Big ups Outsider!

Google

Yelp
I was hungry, so my grandbaby and I decided to walk up the street to get pizza. I love living on Beacon Hill and having the ability to walk to a local business and get something yummy when we don't feel like cooking. Yummy pizza, great service and quick. I would highly recommend Outsider Pizza if your on the hill or coming this way. LadyFlava of LadyFlavaNews Supporting A Small Business in my Community

Yelp
Decent enough option for a quick snack! Slices are warmed up to ordern so its nice and toasty. I give them kudos for attempting lasagna on the menu for what is essentially a push cart stand. Not a slice or wedge of lasagna but basically some noodles, cheese and marinara sauce baked in some tin foil. Huge slice of garlic bread it comes with was handy in eating this amorphus dish. Caprese salad was fresh and nice with big slices of tomato and buffalo mozzarella. The outdoor court this cart is at is across from the Beacon Hill light rail stop with a few other mexican food type carts to try as well if you are in the area

Yelp
Ooof, I hate to write reviews like this. But if you're like me, you've been eyeballing this place as a potential diamond in ruff... Sadly what you're looking at is just a rock. Pizza: Think Costco like. No char, no wood fired or coal flavor, just very "manufactured" tasting. The ingredients are good... I really just think they need to get a unique oven, as its just either a propane, or electric oven - aka, your oven at home with a baking steel would do a much better job. Lasagna: Just ok, but nothing to write home about. I feel if you're carving pizza and nothing is open. - Go for it, but lower your expectations. These guys ARE SUPER FRIENDLY and I ABSOLUTELY think you should support these types of business.

Yelp
Do not let the pizza sign fool you. I had this food at Seattle's Folklife festival and it was AMAZING!!! I was at all 4 days of the festival and I must have stopped at this tent 5x!!! First the quesadillas are life changing! All handmade tortillas, fresh cotija cheese and possibly queso frescos (not 100% sure that the second white cheese was), It had steak, lettuce, and some peppers, and fresh homemade red or green salsa. It was sooo delicious. Reminded me of the food I had in Queretaro Mexico. I could eat this quesadilla every week for the rest of my life. The handmade corn tortillas themselves would be enough of a selling point to return over and over again. The jugo fresco (fresh juice) was also AMAZING!!!!!!!! I tried so many!!! The watermelon I probably had 3x, the tamarind was amazing, the Horchata was one of the best horchata drinks I've ever had, and the hibiscus was also amazing! They also had pineapple, Mellon, lime with cucumber and all sorts of other amazing juices. I cannot stress enough how good this food is!!!!! All that said, the folks running this place are equally amazing! What delightful humans. It was an honor to meet them and taste these family recipes! They are located next to beacon hill station so not having a car isn't enough reason not to visit. They also serve pizza. Though I haven't tried it, I'm curious. Oh and the Esquites (Mexican corn in a cup) was also delicious! Try everything! Including the fruit cups!!! I cannot wait to return!

Yelp
First time I actually stopped and got Tacos Chukis and saw this stand in the plaza nearby. I walked by and was greeted by the very friendly owner and mentioned I'll be back to try his pizza. Fast forward a week and placed an order over the phone for a combo pizza which had pepperoni, canadian bacon, green peppers, red onion, and mushrooms. Service was quick as he said 15 mins and he was spot on when I arrived. Now to the pizza, it was delicious. I love a good thin crust pizza and for the price I paid I was very satisfied with it. It was not greasy and the ingredients were very fresh. If you are on Beacon Hill and are looking for a pizza joint, I recommend Outsider Pizza!

Yelp
My jaw dropped when I saw how big the slices are. I got the pepperoni and veggie and they were both delicious, with a slight preference for the veggie. I love thin crust pizza so was pleasantly surprised. Lastly, I really appreciated how they warmed the pizza before they give it to you.

Yelp
This is ridiculous this slices of bread with avocado cost me $13 with no drink I think this is a scam place it's not possible to sell one slice of bread with avocado for $13 never be back To this place .. not recommend it all and it will take 25 minutes to get older

Yelp
Super good and pretty cheap. Got a margherita that was super tasty and fresh! Just called the dude up and picked up my pie in 15 min

Yelp
I came here because of the reviews and wasn't disappointed. The combo pizza is delicious! The service is friendly.

Yelp
Tacos, pizza, and a really good menu for authentic Mexican food. This place is a stokers paradise, the staff are really humble and wholesome, they always server you with a smile and they love talking about improving the community! This place has the best pizza in beacon hill district and one of the best tacos.

Yelp
Great pizza! We used to live by Piecora's for years so we were excited to give this a try. Didn't disappoint!

Yelp
Is this premium pizza? No but in a world where national chains dominate pizza industry this place is better than every national chain and the pizza places that over charge you. It's just a solid pizza place with friendly service and very fresh ingredients. Veggie pizza here is amazing! And you can get by by slice on every pizza but veggie. Right by taco chukis! Parking a little difficult as you'll need to parallel park. Usually not free but not that expensive in this area.

Yelp
Nice guy, quick, generous pizza slices. It is cooked to order infront of you. Some nice unique flavors to choose from. A good grab & go option. Toppings are on the counter when your pizza pops out.

Yelp
Outsider does a thin pizza pretty well. $4.50 for a slice of veggie that's really the width of about two normal slices. They have red pepper flakes, oregano, and parmesan on hand for you to top your pizza. It's a pretty simple set up, which is honestly how pizza like this should be. It's accessible and convenient and you get a full warm meal for less than $5. The location and convenience can't be beat as it's parked in El Centro de la Raza - right next to a transit stop and a popular events space. I don't always catch them but when I do I make sure to grab a slice, because I believe in what they're doing.

Yelp
Simply the best quick option for delicious pizza on Beacon Hill! Owner is one and only operator, and he is awesome. The choices are pepperoni, basil, or plain cheese... and all are DELISH!

Julia C.

Yelp
This is a fun little food stand on beacon hill. The pizza is thin sliced and quite tasty.

Yelp
Good pizza slices. Thin crust. Open until 7 or so most days in the square next to Tacos Chukis.

Yelp
I live next door to El Centro and never knew Outsider was here; but now I'll be coming every chance I get! Slices are huge (prices range from $3.50-$4.50 - pepperoni, cheese, veggie, Hawaiian plus a special) and leave you full. Conveniently located right next to Beacon Hill light rail/transit hub.

Yelp
I love outsider pizza! Great ingredients, SUPER nice owners... and they do call in orders. It's really easy to use the temporary parking by the light rail station to pick up your order. This is now a go to dinner in my house.
