A tiny dive bar that has old country music playing, Texas vibes, and delicious bar food. Bartender was super friendly, revolving door of regulars, and the vibe was awesome. Will definitely be going back when in town again. And definitely order the fries, they were insane.

Looking to escape the touristy spots and hang out in a chill yet fun environment with great vibes? You've gotta hit this spot. Just people hanging out and having a great time, no pretension, and the BEST burger and fries around. I'm a massively picky burger person, but damn does this place nail it. An absolute gem of the Savannah area. Don't miss it!

We just walked into a party! Friday night happy hour rocks at Over Yonder. Although it was very busy, the staff handled the room professionally. We just stopped in for a couple drinks, but had a really nice time. They have outdoor seating if you like. We will try to come back soon.

I came here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon and sat at the bar. I had blackened shrimp tacos paired with the Birthday Boy cocktail (mezcal, ancho chile liqueur, rye whiskey, spicy ginger ale and lime) and will be dreaming of this meal for the rest of my life. The guys behind the bar were great, very friendly and very quick service. There was a fantastic band on - Anders Thomson - playing country and rock n roll covers and originals, and being sat at the bar, we were given control of the cowbell. Overall a friendly, welcoming local gem that is now firmly in my favourites list.

Had an incredible time here on Saturdays more than once. Great live music with lots of local talent, I’ve never been disappointed. Does get very busy late night on weekends. Great neighborhood bar!

The burger is fantastic and the aioli and ranch make everything 10x tastier. Drinks are strong too. This place is a bit divey and has great character. Staff is friendly even when they’re busy and the crowd is decent. Overall a great little neighborhood bar

Came at 12 am to have French fries , we were polite , but some guy name "Mike" did not late us in as he said it was full capacity , even thought behind us he let two guys to go inside . Rude! Just put the sign out " just for our regular visitors"it's creating a lot of headaches for people who just trying to have some drinks and French fries at 12 am in Savannah !

Word on the street is that this is the best burger around. It definitely is one of the better burgers I've had. The sauces and how it was cooked was perfect. My only caveat was that this is obviously a bar atmosphere, so don't expect a sit down restaurant style. You just order at the bar and get a buzzer once it's ready. The fries were mildly burn but I highly recommend the Cowboy Ranch, it is SOOO good.

Five stars for a super fun atmosphere, fantastic service, strong drinks, and delicious food. I tried the tenders, the double stack burger, the fries, and I got a side of the ranch. Everything was cooked perfectly and was super flavorful. You can tell they make it all in-house, and I was so impressed with the quality and flavor. The bartenders are excellent. It was super busy, but there was never a long wait to place an order. I love this place. My only regret is that I couldn't order more food because I was too full, but I want to go back to try the taco and chili hotdog. Prices are reasonable and I had such an awesome time.

I am an out of towner here for business! So as I sit in Lone Wolf Bar, I start up a conversation w a local. He tells me if I want the best good ol' burger to try Over Yonder which is across the parking lot. My group of 5 head over yonder to Over Yonder to get a burger before heading to the historic district for drinks. This place did not disappoint! We walk across the back dirt lot and see people outside sitting in the back of their trucks. People sitting in the outside patio. The roll up door was up and people all over inside having drinks and burgers. I see my new friend who was having a burger also. We all order the double cheese w fries. Our burgers were ready quickly and we had a Lone Star w our burgers! The burger was no frills, but a DAMN GOOD burger! Well seasoned w fresh fixins and a house special sauce. All 5 of us agreed it was a great tasting burger!! The fries were thicker cut w the skins. Again well seasoned!!! A very low key casual friendly "Dive/Local Bar" vibe! Highly recommend for anyone who wants a relaxed atmosphere and a great burger. Reasonably priced also!!! Thank you to the local who recommended this place!

Excellent pub fare (burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, tenders, fries) and great vibe and crowd. This is one of my favorite spots in Savannah.

Great little hole in the wall with limited menu but good. Live music frequently. Local crowd mostly, or guests of a local. Steady flow of to go food orders. Double burger, crispy char but not overcooked. Excellent fries and both sauces delish. Its the food for moodrights next door

Quirky little place, but very nice people and as nice as the people are the cheeseburger and chicken sandwiches are even better. I was there one day and my girlfriend had the tacos and the special pork belly tacos. They were insane. Cold beer, good music and a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Great bar with great service. The burgers and fries are fantastic. Really good mix of people. Music was great. It was packed on a Friday and it was really chilly out but there were still people on the patio.

Had a great time there Sunday! Food service was very well done, actually excellent! All the servers and bartenders were courteous and quick. Excellent place to try, can be a little tricky to find your first time around, and as usual in town parking is tricky, but definitely worth the effort.

A Savannah secret.... Shhhhhhhh.... Shockingly good food served up in a converted garage behind the Moodright's pool hall/bar/mini bowling pin alley. Another haunt of locals only - hence the shhhhhhhh .... Occasionally they have music, monthly line dancing, but fab food- best fries- if not best a close second- burgers and even fare for the vegetarian- and chicken! Go for the food, enjoy a cheap beer or cocktail and be in on the secret! Good luck finding it!

In the words of Toby Keith, "I love this bar"! I love their food, the casual atmosphere, the "Urban Cowboy" feel and their craft cocktails. Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and country crooners provide the background music. The laid back vibe hits the spot after a long work week, or for that matter, any night! It's hard to find as it's located behind Moodrights, they don't have signage, and their entrance and private parking is down the gravel alley and in back. Look for the small patio entrance with a Longhorn Steer on the roof above. Bring your pup when hanging out at their outdoor patio. I've never been disappointed with a meal at Over Yonder, and their double patty burgers are juicy and fantastic! Tonight I tried the Chicken Sandwich complete with sweet chili mayo, jalapeño slaw, onions on a brioche bun and served with a dill pickle spear. Messy deliciousness! The basket of hand cut fries were perfect for sharing. The condiments of bacon aioli and cowboy ranch were creative partners! Hubs always enjoys the General Tso with fried chicken ($2 upcharge) in lieu of tofu. Sometimes it's served in a box, other times in a bowl, but always with rice, mushrooms, bell pepper, red onions, broccoli, tso sauce and micro greens. This fresh, colorful entree hits the spot. Beer, wine and cocktails? Yes, they serve it all. Their house drinks are $8, beer $3-$6 and wine $10. Happy hour 4-6, Monday through Friday! Cheers!

Been here for drinks but tonight was the first time eating. The food is amazing. We had the burger and tenders with fries. Top notch.

One of my new favorite places in Savannah. Just a down-home, laidback, honkytonk-type bar in the Starland District, with friendly staff and cheap beer. My wife and I dropped by yesterday (Saturday) afternoon to see and listen to the "surf western" duo/band Andrea & Mud. We grabbed a couple of seats up front and then I walked up to the bar and ordered a Mad Dawg Margarita (mezcal, poblano liqueur, agave syrup, lime juice, and verde hot sauce) ($10) for my wife, and a bottle of Shiner Bock ($4) for me. And that wasn't even the least expensive beer. Over Yonder sells Lone Star, Miller Lite, Coors, and Tecate for only $3!. It's amazing to me that you can go to a fun bar in a cool district, listen to live music without a cover charge, and pay just $3 for a beer. And although we didn't order any food ourselves, looking around at the other tables, I could see that the food looked good, and judging from how others were eating it, it must have tasted pretty good as well! We had a great time listening to the music and having fun with the crowd. Definitely a place that we'll be returning to.

Very chill place to get a beer and a fried chicken sandwich late at night. Hits the spot! Don't expect any fancy cocktails here, but if it's late and you're hungry- stop on in!

Great burger. Nacho fries were more than 2 could tackle. Cool vibe. Staff was friendly and accommodating. You can get lone star beer and usually hear some local bands.

Great vibes and surprisingly great food. Tons of options to chose from- you could get loaded fries or a veggie stir fry box. The bartenders are great. It's the perfect hole in the wall.

Cute place in Moodrights but the female bartender at Over Yonder is rude. Like unreal rude. Mocking and smart ads is not good

Hard to find, but hidden gem. Very cool vibe. Loved the decor. Food was awesome as well. I had the tofu vegetable box and my friend had the chicken sandwich. Very yummy. Resonably priced to boot!

This is a great bar yes, but the reason I keep coming back is the food! The fries are the best in Savannah (fight me if you don't agree). They serve them with bacon mayo and spicy ranch. They're perfectly seasoned, crunchy and potatoey all at the same time. Simply amazing. They also do a great burger and spicy chicken sandwich. The bartenders are always friendly and fun!
