excellent people l love here There’s a really cool energy here, like everyone’s working on something they care about. I came to get some stuff done and ended up staying for hours without even noticing. It just feels good to be around people creating things

I wasn’t even planning on getting a frappe, but wow. The dulce de leche one is ridiculous. Sweet, creamy, kind of nostalgic in a way? Definitely coming back for that. The caramel one’s amazing too, but I’m officially loyal now.

Amazing new cafe in Green Point. Great drinks, cozy and spacious vibes. Incredible lighting, comfy seats.

I ordered the strawberry matcha, which was refreshing and not overly sweet. Next time I would like to try their espresso drinks. There is also a happy hour discount on their signature drinks. This is a great place to come if you want to focus and get some work done. There are not too many outlets, but there are a lot of seats. The space is very clean and quiet, which is sadly rare to find in NYC. The barista was so friendly and even though she was alone, I could tell she was diligent about maintaining the space.

I love this place! Coffee is amazing and it’s a perfect place to go and work. It’s a nice quiet space but if you need to have a meeting, nobody will stare at you for chatting with friends. Super friendly staff and I’ll be coming back often. I almost don’t want to write this because I want to keep this spot to myself!

Owlee is a really beautiful cafe with a great vibe and energy for the locals and visitors alike. I had a really great cappuccino brewed with love by their brilliant barista Abby, who was juggling a little philosophy of literature in between customers. Great place if you have great taste. Will be back.

The place is nice and clean, but I didn't like the service. Yesterday I tried coffee for the first time, but I didn't like the employee's attitude. Places like this should have cheerful people who are happy to serve you.

This review is about sustainability only! 😀 I’d love to see better communication in-store about reusable mugs you have available (so great that you DO have them available!). Often customers don’t think to ask for greener options, because they may subconsciously assume there is no better optjon. So perhaps asking them point blank if they want their coffee to stay in a reusable mug would help mitigate all the plastic trash created in house, as seen here in the trash cans and on tables. It’s so fab you have real mugs—just gotta promote them and normalize them more! Especially for folks working from here or meeting friends here. Because by 2050, we are slated to have more plastic in the ocean than fish. Plastics are made from fossil fuels, they take centuries to break down, and when they do, they break down into microplastics that are harmful to our health. Over 95% of plastics don’t get recycled, and the creation and use of plastics is only growing globally. Knowing this, how can this business, located just near the water, the jewel of Greenpoint, help protect this ecosystem? Some great examples to look to are shops like IXV coffee near Barclays, or Talea Brewing in Williamsburg. Both model the very real possibility of a business that doesn’t necessitate the creation of trash, by prioritizing “for here” options. Congrats on the new biz—excited to come back to this lovely space, and hope to see some improvements on the single use plastics front! Always happy to chat further to talk through ideas :)

I'm so glad I stumbled upon Owlee on a lazy Sunday afternoon! I was searching for the perfect matcha latte, and boy, did I find it! Owlee is a stunning spot with ample space, beautiful decor, and intriguing artwork. Staff is friendly. It's an ideal spot for working, reflecting, or simply enjoying a moment of peace. The matcha latte with oat milk was absolute perfection! Well-brewed, creamy, and deliciously satisfying. I snagged the window seat and savored every sip in tranquility. If you're looking for a quiet spot to work, unwind, or indulge in a great cup of coffee, Owlee is a MUST-VISIT! I'll definitely be back!

I absolutely adore Owlee Café! I stopped in to check it out when I was in the Greenpoint area and fell in love with the decor, bright space, good vibes, yummy matcha, and so much more. As a creative, this sort of space inspires me! I had the pleasure of meeting Ana (the founder/owner of Owlee) who happened to be in that day and she showed me around the photo studio, co-working space, and was just the kindest human being. So not only is it awesome and artsy... it's also a woman-owned business! Overall, I had a wonderful time at Owlee and am grateful I found it. Highly recommend if you're in the area... or even if you just need some creative inspiration. I'm sure you'll find it (and me) here lol.
