Marketplace with diverse food vendors, local produce, and a riverside deck.
"If eating is your sport, the Oxbow Public Market is the field, with more than 20 food stalls in one place. It’s loud and seating can be a problem, but buckle in and get ready to eat. Start your day with Ritual Coffee and a breakfast burrito from C Casa before packing a picnic with charcuterie from Fatted Calf and the reuben from Loveski Deli. Or, you can slurp down oysters with a view at Hog Island, eat an excellent pie at Live Fire Pizza, grab a fleur de sel cupcake from Kara’s, and have a glass of sparkling wine at Bar Lucia. Clearly, you can spend a whole day here, and if you’re tired of all the wine tasting there’s a brewery and distillery onsite, as well as a great indie bookstore, Napa Bookmine." - christina julian, lani conway, jasmine alexandra
"A would-be scam targeted vendors for the Napa Truffle Festival (scheduled Friday, January 17 through Monday, January 20, 2025): someone posing as co-owner Steve Carlin contacted food-truck operators and asked for a $50 daily fee to reserve space. One vendor fell victim and $22 in fraudulent charges were posted to his card before the bank intervened. The market's team warned its Instagram followers about the scheme, and anyone contacted by the scammers is encouraged to reach out to the Napa Police Department." - Dianne de Guzman
"A bustling indoor market in downtown Napa offering fresh food, wine and an eclectic mix of vendors and eateries — a convenient, crowd-pleasing spot for diverse, casual dining and shopping." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"More recently, I noted that Lahlou opened the counter-service restaurant Moro in Napa’s Oxbow Public Market in March 2024, serving “the grab-and-go food of Chef Mourad’s childhood and the food stalls at Jemaa el-Fnaa, Marrakesh’s famous night market,” according to a restaurant press release." - Dianne de Guzman
"Can’t get the group to agree on lunch plans? Oxbow Public Market it is. The fancy food hall near downtown Napa certainly has options, with 20+ stalls that highlight why eating in Wine Country is so great. Some of our favorite stops include Loveski for perfect reubens, Model Bakery (get the english muffin breakfast sandwich), and Hog Island for oysters grown over in Tomales Bay. After everyone has picked up their order, and, ideally, grabbed some wine, meet up at a communal table on the patio overlooking the river." - lani conway, julia chen 1, ricky rodriguez
