The 17 Best Restaurants In Tampa

"Oxford Exchange is the best fancy brunch option around. Part of that is due to the setting: there’s a central staircase filled with a bunch of people’s portraits like JFK and Frederick Douglass, a stone fountain in the glass-domed atrium, and a shoe-shine stand in the hallway. Brunch goes until 5pm on the weekend, so you could feasibly knock back bellinis with your lemon poppyseed pancakes a couple hours before the sun sets. There will probably be a wait, but you can pass the time hanging out in their gift shop, drinking champagne, and debating whether or not to buy a 300-page book on Bauhaus art for your dad’s birthday." - cheryl rodewig

"Read a Book, Have a Cuppa, Enjoy a Meal The Oxford Exchange is my new favorite place in Tampa. First, there are books. Not just any books, but a well curated selection of books on interesting subjects, well displayed with helpful hints from bookstore staff. The room is light-filled and comfy chairs give you a spot to peruse your selection. I can never leave without at least a couple new books to add to the pile on my bedside table. A walk down a richly decorated, wood-paneled hallway leads to a coffee and tea bar featuring local favorites Buddy Brew Coffee and Tebella Tea. There are large sofas, comfy chairs, high-top tables, and bar seating. There is always a nice vibe in the air as friends and associates chat over a cup of brew. Then there is the restaurant. Chef Erin Guggino creates fresh, simple, flavorful meals served in a high-ceilinged, high-windowed room or the adjacent atrium. The menu emphasizes seasonal, local, and organic ingredients. Currently, it is open for breakfast and lunch (regulars secretly hope they start opening for dinner). And last, but not least, are the treasures waiting to be found at the Shop at Oxford Exchange. The shop has a delightful collection of home décor pieces, vintage finds, and gifts."

This place is absolutely outstanding! The food is incredible—every dish we tried was full of flavor and truly exceeded expectations. The space itself is beautiful, with thoughtful details throughout. While you wait, you can browse the lovely shop or grab a delicious coffee. Or a book. Or make your own candle. Incredible experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

Oxford Exchange is truly a gem. I came here with a party of 17 and was so impressed by the experience from start to finish. Our server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us all feel welcome—no small feat with such a large group! The food was exceptional with plenty of delicious options for vegetarians. I ordered the beet salad, which was fresh and flavorful, while my sister-in-law had the lemon poppy seed pancakes—light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The portions were generous, and the cocktails were both strong and tasty. Beyond the food, the ambiance is something special. The architecture is absolutely stunning, and you can really feel the history in the space. We loved browsing the gift shops and relaxing in the common areas. It’s the perfect place to gather, chat, and enjoy a beautiful brunch. Highly recommend!

Oxford Exchange – Tampa Delicious and absolutely beautiful! The space is full of light, with high ceilings and a bright, elegant design that makes every visit feel special. The food is fresh and flavorful — perfect for breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and yes — there’s even a champagne bar! Important tip: make a reservation if you can — otherwise, expect a long wait, especially on weekends. This place is very popular, and for good reason. Highly recommend for a stylish start to your day or a laid-back, elegant brunch.

First time at OE in a very long time! Everything was fantastic. The whipped feta and Avocado toast was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend. I have had many avocado toasts that have really disappointed but this one was truly fantastic. The service was great, the atmosphere is absolutely lovely and the building is honestly a masterpiece in itself. My only complaint was that I went in a Sunday and their parking situation is a headache. Apparently there is a designated lot however on Sundays they allow the church to use that lot and OE customers are not allowed to park there. It took me about 20 minutes to find parking and it was pretty far.

This was our first time at Oxford Exchange, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Design, food, and service—impeccable across the board. The space is stunning and thoughtfully curated, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and inviting. The retail shop was a highlight on its own—elegantly and uniquely curated, with beautifully selected items that made us want to browse every corner. It’s clear that every detail of the experience is intentional. The food was excellent, and our server Jordan was completely on point—attentive, warm, and professional without being overbearing. Oxford Exchange is easily one of our new favorite spots in Tampa. A true gem, and we can’t wait to come back.

My wife surprised me with a birthday brunch at Oxford Exchange in Tampa, and it was the perfect choice for a simple yet elegant experience. We were looking for a place with great food and a memorable atmosphere, and Oxford Exchange delivered on every front. We made reservations well in advance and were seated in the stunning atrium, which was a highlight of the visit. The architecture and interior design are truly unique. The decor is warm and inviting, creating an ambiance that feels both upscale and cozy. The surrounding shops, from the mini bookstore to the candle-making station and photo book displays, added a delightful layer of exploration to our evening. The wait staff was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel special throughout the meal. The food was equally impressive. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, which was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients and a delicious balance of flavors. My wife had the avocado toast, which she raved about for its creamy texture and zesty lemony kick. Every bite was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. After dinner, we took our time strolling through the space, soaking in the charm of the coffee bar, browsing the curated selection of books, and admiring the eclectic offerings in the shops. The variety of experiences—coffee, tea, candles, and more—made it feel like more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination. We had an absolutely wonderful time and left feeling like we’d discovered a Tampa gem. Oxford Exchange is a place we’ll return to again and again for its fantastic food, impeccable service, and one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a memorable meal! (photos are copyright protected by me)

Google
I had the roasted beet salad with salmon for lunch, it was spectacular and I can't wait to bring my wife back for a future breakfast or lunch. My server Daniela was the perfect level of friendliness and attentiveness. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, especially the solarium area. I'm sure this place is hopping on weekends, definitely suggest a reservation on weekends, but you could probably get seated without one on weekdays.

Google
I thought the food was good for presentation, but the taste was (I had french toast) a little dry and bland. I also thought most of the items were overpriced. The service was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was like 4 stores in one place.

Yelp
Very well thought layout and ambience. Service was excellent and food was great. Definitely will be back to try other menu items

Yelp
What a beautiful space. There a coffee section, tea section, book section, bar section, and a dining area. What a great space Coffee was pretty good. I sat there for a bit and people watched. I would definitely come again and try out their tea selection!

Yelp
One word? pretentious. Two words? Pretentious AF. I asked if I could make a candle at 4:30 pm on a Sunday. I was told that no, I could not because the last pouring is at 4 pm and they close at 5:30. How long does it take to make a candle? The cherry on top was being told that I should "make a reservation for next time"...ma'am, there are 4 other people here, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Bookstores and restaurants in one location is a dream for me. After purchasing two new books, I had a reservation to eat a late lunch at Oxford Exchange. The ambiance is beautiful, studious, and curious. We ate outside and loved the vines on the walls. I ordered tea (amazing options to choose from), deviled eggs, and whipped feta. It was delicious and filled me up with enough to take home. Service was a little on the slow side which is why I'm removing one star. Loved this place!

Yelp
Made reservations for brunch and we were NOT disappointed by the brunch tower! It's so much food and all of it was amazing! Big enough to share with 4-6 people depending on how hungry everyone is! We ordered a few other sides (fries,Mac N Cheese and the Burrata Salad) The brunch tower had Salmon, bagels, French toast, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, bacon, sausage and little assorted egg bites. Brunch tower gives afternoon tea vibes. Our experience took a little long as far as the wait but it was well worth it!

Yelp
Although this place is beautiful, it's VERY TRENDY and WAY OVERPRICED. The building itself is quite lovely. Its old wood stairs, motifs, and high-ceilings remind me of an bank building from the 30's. The Oxford is comprised of several open wall businesses. You really can't tell where one ends and another begins. It reminded me of an upscale swap shop. Christmas ornaments for $80, leather notebooks for $200, a coffee place in the middle, a Champage Bar across from an open floor-shop. It's very crowded and we tried to get reservations for the restaurant itself but to no avail. I am not impressed with the hype. It reminded me of walking into Barnes and Noble but for trendy millionaires. The crowd itself was enough to make me leave.

Yelp
Wow what can I say about Oxford Exchange!?!? It's an amazing space that features a store, restaurant, Tea Bar, Coffee bar, Champagne Bar, Bookstore and Candle making store! Everything here is delightful! From the decorations which are very unique such as watermelon candles, handmade blankets, and many more items to choose from! I loved the beautiful decor! The elegant dark wood tones, the geometric floor, the big windows! It's a beautiful place to go and get an amazing cup of tea, delicious coffee and read or chat up with friends! It's perfect for a girls day. You can actually make your own candles at the Candle Pour.. I did not try the food as there was a 2 hour wait so I'll have to check it out next time and make reservations. We were hungry and not about to wait 2 hours! But the wait time says it all! It must be delicious!

Yelp
Out of this world good! We can't say enough good things about the Oxford Exchange. From the ambiance and the service to the perfectly prepared dishes, everything is top notch! We drive over 2 hours to eat here and don't think twice about it.

Yelp
I have been coming to Oxford exchange for the past four years and I have to say that I love that they rotate their menu items. Each time I come I am in for a new experience! The camera ready food, paired with the environment, makes for a perfect group brunch spot. I definitely took a step out of my comfort zone this time by ordering a salmon Benedict, but I was pleasantly surprised. Happy eating!

Yelp
Had a great experience got the Irish Coffee and bought some loose leaf tea. Cute spot to work remotely if you looking for a change of scenery or a nice date spot. The options for activities is nice, restaurant for brunch, coffee shop, books stores and amazing tea selection. Would recommend to anyone in the area

Yelp
Never had a bad meal here! Absolutely love the super simple breakfast sandwich on sourdough. The lemon poppyseed pancakes were delicious!! Didn't like that the breakfast potatoes were more like potato chips.

Yelp
Had a cute brunch here on a Saturday! We got seated in the greenhouse area and it was beautiful. The Brussel sprouts were amazing and crispy. I also got the strawberry and burrata salad which was $23 without any meat! It was still delicious though.... The service was good although we did have to wait 15 minutes after our reservation time for a table to open. Oxford exchange it always a solid choice for weekend brunch!!

Yelp
An absolute must for anyone in Tampa! Although you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, my personal favorite for breakfast is the avocado toast. The interior itself is nothing short of gorgeous, and is frequently booked for weddings and receptions. Tucked away and across from the University of Tampa, unless you were looking for it - you would never know it was there. A perfect date spot for brunch or coffee, or a cool place to pick up unique books and gifts. Oxford Exchange is one of the best things to do/places to go in Tampa!

Yelp
As a history lover, the story behind Oxford Exchange alone is worth a visit. On the outside, it doesn't look like much, but step inside to find a beautifully restored 1891 building with tile floors. It used to be an arcade full of local shops and businesses and now it's a place that invites community. There's a bookstore, a candle-making shop, a home goods shop, restaurant, cafe, champagne bar, and a co-working space all under one roof. I visited Oxford Exchange for a private event. We had the entire space and the evening included cocktails from the bar, a candle-making class, and charcuterie boards. It was a lovely evening in a noteworthy space!

Yelp
Everything about the Oxford Exchange is amazing. The atmosphere is refreshing and comfy. We had the nicest server, so wish I could remember her name! The food, oh the food was wonderful, our table of 5 ordered the breakfast tower - we enjoyed it from top to bottom. I can't wait to go back!!!

Yelp
Awesome venue location and vibes. There's a coffee bar, book store and even a champagne bar inside. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating below a sunroom terrace. The menu also has a lot of great options. We went for lunch and I had the steak sandwich which was delicious along with an old fashioned that definitely hit the spot. Shoutout to the bartender! After eating we explored the 2nd level and the bookstore. Overall it's a great place to try out by yourself or with a group of people. I'll definitely be back for their brunch menu
google avatar

Yelp
The food here was some of the best brunch I've had in a very long time. The reason I docked a few stars was that is was extremely noisy so made it hard to talk to my friend, the service was really slow, and the prices seemed a little steep. The food though was delicious. I ordered the brunch flatbread and the spicy sweet potato fries. The fries were perfectly crispy and had this nice spice sprinkled on top. I didn't find them to be very spicy, but they were tasty nonetheless. The brunch flatbread was the true star. It had a perfectly runny egg on top. Every bite was amazing. 10/10 would order again every time. Sidenote: I was very disappointed that I had to pay extra for the fries. The brunch flatbread was listed on the menu under the sandwich section, which said it came with fries. The waiter was nice enough to let me know the fries were extra before I committed to ordering them. The menu was very misleading.

Yelp
Wonderful place for breakfast/brunch! We went on a Sunday morning and really enjoyed it! We had their French toast and breakfast tacos, which were both excellent. We'll be back to try the Brussels sprouts and some other options that looked delicious. They also have a full coffee bar and great service.

Yelp
I've heard about this place for so long and I finally tried it, I was pleasantly surprised! Everything we ordered was simply superb. I started with an Aperol Spritz which was very well balanced and made! I really liked it. Shoutout to the bartender! Our waitress recommended the Feta Dip that was actually so good with the pita bread I'd definitely order it again! We also tried the smoked salmon with bagels, it was good! But the star of the brunch was the French toast, best one I've had in years! Perfectly made! I could come back only to get those French toasts again! Ambiance and service was great! They were a little busy but still felt like they were on top of their game! One of the best brunch spots in the South Tampa area for sure.

Yelp

Yelp
Always a good time at the Oxford Exchange for breakfast. Absolutely loved the brunch selections at Oxford. The 5-star service and food, reasonably priced menu, and great ambiance make it a top choice. There's so much to do while waiting for your table. The European-inspired design adds to the charm. You can visit the champagne bar, explore the book store, shop for jewelry, or even purchase gourmet loose teas. There's something for everyone to enjoy. I recommend making reservations in advance as it tends to get busy. When it comes to the food, the Brunch Flatbread with whipped boursin, gouda, sunny side egg, bacon, spinach, marinated tomato, and hot honey is to die for. The combination of flavors is absolutely delicious. Another must-try is the Omelet with ham, cheddar, scallion, tomato, and avocado crema. It's a perfect blend of ingredients that will leave you satisfied. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how good the Café con Leche was. The Oxford Exchange is a fantastic place for breakfast or brunch. The variety of options, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere make it a standout choice.

Yelp
Before leaving Tampa, we headed to @oxfordexchange for brunch. Oxford Exchange is more than a restaurant. It's a champagne bar, a coffee shop, a candle-making gathering spot, a co-working space, and retail store selling high-end items like $95 tea saucers and $200 solid brass pepper grinders. It's like if Cracker Barrel had a well-to-do cousin that got an Ivy League education, studied abroad for a year, and now drinks their tea with a pinky raised. Needless to say, it fancy. I felt massively underdressed in my shorts and Darth Vader t-shirt. Reservations are highly recommended. Luckily we had them and saw the host turn people away that didn't have them. Those turned away were able to order small brunch plates at the coffee shop and sit at the many communal tables scattered throughout the space. After being seated and perusing the menu, we decided on a few small plates for brunch; smoked salmon dip, deviled eggs, and grits. The smoked salmon dip was topped with crispy capers, pickled shallots, tarragon caper aioli, and enough poppy seeds to light up a drug test. It's served with everything bagel chips. This dip was delightful. I loved the crispy capers. It was also served with house pickles which was nice when you scoop a dollop of salmon dip on the bagel chip and top it with a pickle. The deviled eggs were made with smoked Gouda and topped with bacon, pickled chilies, and chives. These were nice and had a little spice with those chilies. We also shared a bowl of stone ground yellow grits. These grits were topped with shredded aged white cheddar, bacon, chives, and a maple drizzle. I never put maple syrup on my grits before. Now before you say, "That's like putting sugar on grits!" it's not. It was a wonderful combo of salty and sweet and helped keep the grits from turning to spackle within seconds. Overall, Oxford Exchange a great spot for brunch if you're feeling fancy. Just make sure you make reservations on Open Table.

Yelp
Found this place in Tampa and I'm very obsessed. I like the idea of books and coffee. It's usually super busy on the weekend but calms down after 2-3 pm. Definitely worth the visit. I made friends from NY. People here are nice and friendly. The teas is also amazing and worth the try.

Yelp
A great place to stop by in Tampa. It was a nice escape from the heat and humidity as we strolled the bookstore and candle shop, and grabbed a cup of tea. We sat and enjoyed the views for a bit, though we wished we could have tried the brunch there. Overall a great place for pictures, coffee and tea, and shopping.

Yelp
Come here for the ambience and drinks, not necessarily the food. It's not bad but nothing special. I do love coming here just for the aesthetic and vibes - makes it worth the $$!

Yelp
We arrived just around opening time (during the week) which I'm glad we did because it was completely quiet. We enjoyed such a peaceful breakfast with wonderful service from Erin, she was so cheerful and pleasant. The building is beautiful, the decor is stunning and it really is just a stunning place to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks. The bookshop is beautiful too, the next time I come here I will take a look at what it has to offer. I highly recommend Oxford exchange for the vibes and the food.

Yelp
A Jewel of Culinary and Architectural Excellence! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Oxford Exchange, and let me tell you, it was an experience that surpassed all my expectations. As someone who appreciates exquisite taste and attention to detail, I was immediately struck by the every aspect of this establishment. Impeccable. THE BUILDING: From the moment I entered, I soaked in the architecture and interior design because it was stunning. What comes to mind is an elegant blend of modern and classic elements, creating a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. The high ceilings, beautiful lighting, and tasteful decor make it stand out. THE FOOD The food, however, was the true star of the show. Each dish was unbelievable; a masterpiece, prepared with the freshest ingredients and an evident passion for perfection. I'm not even kidding, there is an obvious perfectionist in the kitchen. The menu offers an array of options that seem to cater to both traditional tastes and adventurous palates (like mine). I ate outside and glad I did, it was too cute and temperature-controlled, so we didn't pass out in the summer heat. I can't stop talking about their Brunch Tower (check out the pictures in this review) TOP: mini frittatas, crispy fried chicken, applewood smoked bacon, sage sausage, and an amazing palette cleansing salad that made our tastebuds so very happy. MIDDLE of the Tower: decedent french toast with cinnamon rolls on the other side; both carefully decorated with sweet strawberries BOTTOM of the Tower: smoked salmon two ways Sorry, I couldn't stop taking pictures of it! The Oxford Exchange has their version of fortune cookies; they are well thought-out quotes from various books and complementary during the check process (pictured below)! Such a classy touch. The service was nothing short of impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, ensuring that our dining experience was flawless from start to finish. This place is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. Whether you're there for a casual brunch, a romantic dinner, or enjoying a cup of coffee in their charming bookstore, you can expect to be treated to a level of quality and care that is truly exceptional. A true gem in every sense of the word! Because every bite was a testament to the chef's exquisite culinary skills, I've been dreaming about it since I left two weeks ago. I live all of the way in the Lake Mary area and have to travel 2.5 hrs to Tampa to indulge. But something tells me that it will be worth the effort every time! Definitely swing by the next time you are in Tampa and thank me later.

Yelp
Such a quintessential brunch spot in Tampa. When I think brunch I think Oxford. Lovely space for coffee, tea, and a brunch. Very posh and has such a welcoming vibe. The food is fresh and delicious. I love they have buddy brew coffee here, makes it a true Tampa experience!!

Yelp
Went recently for a special occasion after being recommended for 10 years, and I wish I had started coming ten years ago! When I dropped my car at the exchange parking (across the street for $10), the valet started the nice experience by mentioning on Sundays you could park there all day, and nicely recommended where to park to get the maximum shade. After walking into an unassuming building, I thought I was transported to another world! On both sides of the exchange are bookstores and there is a coffee lounge and wine bar should you have forgotten to make a reservation (you do need a reservation a day in advance at least). When we walked into the restaurant it was a buzzing but mindful crowd, all dressed (minus a few U of Tampa students) very well. The maiterde was very polite, and also recommended some seats by the window, which ended up being plush lounge chairs, compared to their others they have. The selection was on one side of a piece of paper, but everything looked delightful (and after going here once I think I need to start planning on how to eat my way through the menu). My wife got the pancakes, I got the salmon eggs Benedict, which came with a side of breakfast potatoes, and I got a side of sweet potato fries, and was given a garlic dip, and an orange dip as well (which blew my mind). We also ordered a hot chocolate and orange juice, which were not my cup of tea (pun intended) but I think they're more known for their boozy brunch drinks. My wife's pancakes were more or less a banana foster, without the ice cream, and very thick and heavy pancakes (they won, my wife and I lost to them). My eggs Benedict had a delightful English muffin to hold it up, with great ready eggs, and a hollandaise sauce that definitely had a mixture of chicken gravy (magnifique!). The potatoes that came with it were good, but.. get the sweet potato fries! Last but not least, when it came to price, it was as expected, but, is definitely the best brunch place in the area to spend this amount ($75 with tip, and no alcohol).

Yelp
Oxford Exchange is a great spot for books, candle making, coffee time & brunch. Located in the Hyde Park area. Enjoyed a Saturday afternoon here looking at books and enjoying an afternoon coffee. Can't wait to come back for brunch. A fun place to meet up with friends on a weekend and have a cocktail and a bite.

Stephaniie S.

Yelp
This is a popular place, and the ambiance was nice. We had been there a year before and went for brunch again. Unfortunately the menu was not as good as we expected. While what we had was good, it wasn't as amazing as last year. Maybe we just had higher expectations because of our first visit. The staff was very attentive and friendly:

Yelp
The Oxford exchange is such a standout in the Tampa area. My husband and I were there for the day from Orlando and were excited to try it based off of reviews. We enjoyed the incredibly delicious avocado toast and cinnamon roll as a midday snack. The avocado toast really stood out to me with its crunchy tree nuts and slight kick. I also in a more general sense just loved the ambiance of the whole place. It gives very old world academic. It's incredibly elaborate with a bookshop, restaurant, tea store, candle making experience, champagne bar, and coffee shop. I wish Orlando had a place that was as elaborate and cozy as this!

Yelp
This review is for a book signing event only. My complaint about the staging is that it is too low. If they were sightly higher, those of us who were farther back than the 5th row would have been able to see them without doing a yoga move in our chairs. I think I was closer to the 20th row. Then for the book signing. This was for Stephanie Garber's new release where I was in line for 2.5 hours. No one wanted to complain because we all wanted our own time to not be rushed with the authors, Elise Kova was there as well, but 2.5 hours is ridiculous. No seats to rest. Anything to drink or eat while in line was only for those with a friend with them because they were able to step away from the line to retrieve them. Then when it was my turn, it was easy breezy talking to Elise and that staff member. When I got to Stephanie's table, the staff member and Stephanie were set to take the photo before I was even around the table to get to her. Then my phone was handle back to me and I was told good night as soon as the photo taken. Stephanie was already signing the next book and the staff member was asking the next guest for their phone. It all came off rushed, rude, and I wondered if I was treated this crudely, then why in the world did I have to wait so long? 26.05.2024

Yelp
I was searching on Yelp for a breakfast spot near the Korean spa and this came up. Immediately from the photos and the description about the bookstore, I wanted to check it out. Very busy as you walk through. I almost spent too much time in the bookstore but I did make my way in the back to the restaurant. It was fairly easy to get seated. Waitress was quick to introduce herself, Destiny I believe. Nice and attentive. Grapefruit juice was super natural and the real deal. I enjoyed it. I had the yellow grits for my meal. The crispy bacon cheese and maple drizzle gave it the kick it needed. Everything blended so well together. Then I ordered some fish tacos for the road. Yummy. I'll definitely recommend making some time to explore the other areas like cafes and bookstore. You can even sit around and relax. Great spot for eats and vibes.

Yelp
The whole concept of Oxford exchange is cute. our drinks were good. We had the matcha lemonade and a chai latte (which took 45 mins to come out) you could get better lattes elsewhere to be honest. Our food took a while to come out as well. When we did get our food, it was not even hot anymore, as if it were sitting at the counter for a little bit before it was picked up and taken to our table. I can see why people love going there. It is very beautiful in the inside but I don't know if I would go back again. Food was okay, the truffle mac n cheese was very good.

Yelp
Overpriced small plates; nothing special. Good for vibes but not food. Breakfast was basic and there are no non-pork options for meat. We left hungry and had to eat elsewhere.

Yelp
I love the ambience. The food is just ok but good enough to have me coming back at least once a month. Definitely on my rotation of good places to eat in Tampa. Recommend!

Yelp
Loved this place! Ended up here unexpectedly and service, food and ambiance was top tier. Will be going back and ended up buying a few things for gifts. Loved it!

Yelp
Ambiance here is on point. So much energy and makes you feel alive 5/5. What we ate: Smoked Salmon Dip - one thing I would change about this dish are the hard bagel chips. I think pita would be better 4/5. Stone Ground Yellow Grits 4/5 Braised short rib Benedict. Didn't like their style of crispy home fries or whatever it was. Just do regular fries 4/5 Food would have been better if they change certain things as mentioned above. Overall a good experience

Yelp
My number one highly recommended place. Absolutely amazing, nice and clean, so beautiful and stunning place. Food is always fresh and delicious. Awesome vibe, pretty cool interior design. Super stylish, clean and fresh smells in the restrooms.

Yelp
Review for Afternoon tea: SKIP IT, save your money! It's way too expensive and not a special experience. Service is slow and wait staff seems to do their best to avoid eye contact if you're not their table. 3:30 reservations, we were seated promptly but our food took 30 minutes. (Keep in mind that this is pre-prepared food, nothing needs to be cooked or heated.) We ordered a second pot of tea (extra charge) and it took more than 30 minutes... for tea. The flavors are elevated but the sweet outweighs the savory which let us wanting more. There was nothing special about this tea - go to a tea house for a true experience that will cost you much less.

Yelp
Another amazing experience at Oxford Exchange! It was my first time trying the brussels sprouts and the steak sandwich and I loved them both. I also got a chai tea latte, and I am a huge fan of the way OE pours the latte right at the table and leaves the little teapot. The brussels were cooked to perfection, and I loved the citrus vinaigrette. The steak sandwich was delicious - the bread was soft but nice and toasty, the steak wasn't dry, and the cheese wasn't overbearing. Love love love! One of my favorite parts of OE is that when you get fries on the side, they give you a choice of potato fries, sweet potato, or HALF AND HALF! So genius!!!! I was so happy to get half and half! Their fries and breakfast potatoes are so yummy. My friend ordered the breakfast tacos and enjoyed them as well. The chorizo was cut up in slices which was pretty unique!

Yelp
I'm beyond disappointed with my experience. My boyfriend and I had lunch here yesterday, and shortly after eating, I started feeling extremely nauseous. By the evening, it was evident I had food poisoning, and I spent the entire night extremely sick. We had tickets to a show and had to miss it because of this. This is one of my favorite places and I'm extremely disappointed especially because I tried calling them and left a voice message with no response. My health is more important than any meal, and this was a major letdown.

Yelp
**Vegetarian Friendly** SUCH A CUTE PLACE!! You could spend the entire day here! It's located near a college (didn't catch the name) so it's a very busy place no matter the time! Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, lots of lounge seating. We had the breakfast tacos and the whipped feta! Both absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to visit Tampa again just for the whipped feta! Parking is in the back, and there is street parking. PS: Absolutely make a reservation, there is always a wait even on Tuesday mornings.

Yelp
I bring everyone that visits me here. This will always be a favorite. It's the best avocado toast I've ever had....and the whipped feta????? Would commit crimes for her...........

Yelp
First of all, I would have to say the environment here is so nice and well designed. It's not one for the cafe you have to take care of your cup or plates after you're done. They staff takes care of it and you can just leave it on the table. I really like this part despite I have no problem getting it done myself. I ordered cappuccino which is not bad. I also order croissant that tasted ok, but it was bit expensive. I think it's one of the places you can bring your friends or date for some causal conversation.

Yelp
I loved this place. A champagne bar, coffee & tea bar, the restaurant, books, candles & some light shopping. Hubby & I stopped in on a busy Sunday with 11:45am reservation. We arrived early, got a few drinks at the champagne bar, and then checked-in at the restaurant. Seated immediately. We ordered the chicken sandwich & a roasted Turkey club. Fries came nice & hot. Server was pleasant. Loud & busy restaurant but we didn't mind. Highly recommend for a date or girls brunch.

Yelp
Oxford Exchange is one of the first restaurants I visited when I moved to Tampa 2 years ago, and it remains an iconic restaurant that I recommend to all of my friends and family when they come to visit the area. Something about the unique ambience with the restaurant itself being adjacent to a bookstore and a coffee shop, with the wide-open windows facing the University of Tampa just bring it such a nice sunny afternoon vibe, perfect for brunch. The food never ceases to surprise me. I've been here over a handful of times, each time ordering a different plate, but always leaving so perfectly satisfied with the flavor and portions. My friends have come here for a casual hang out over mimosas multiple times, and nobody ever says no to Oxford Exchange. If you have not tried Oxford Exchange yet, you definitely must.
