Amazing traditional Jamaican food! I had the Jerk chicken and it brought me so many happy memories from my time on the island. The meat was tender, well cooked, perfectly spiced and the rice and beans just right. I will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu! Great job!!!!

Ayooo! It’s not close. If you know Brooklyn or better Jamaican food, this is the only place in LA that will bring the heat. Ozi doesn’t miss a beat and he is a true chef when it comes to hospitality 🙏🏾

I recently had Ozi's Kitchen after not having his food for years when he was a street vendor. I love that he has a kitchen to work out of now and you can get it delivered or pickup. I ordered several things, the mac and cheese (my favorite), the salmon plate, the jerk chicken plate, cabbage, a few patties, and the dessert. EVERYTHING was amazing. I haven't had Jamaican food in a while. All of the food that I've had has been from Mid-city so I am happy to see someone else pop up. This is going to be my go-to food for jamaican comfort and If you're looking for reviews to tell you why you should order, let this be your sign.

It’s located in the Moroccan Lounge in case you miss the signage. One of the BEST Jamaican food I’ve had in LA. I was feeling blah and in search of some Jamaican food to uplift my spirit. I went websurfing and noticed this new spot - Ozi Kitchen. After reading the wonderful reviews I decided to give it a try, against my hesitance; because I’ve been let down a few times in LA before. I am so glad I did follow through. The food was like genuine home-cooked Jamaican Sunday dinner. I had the brown stew chicken and curry chicken with Basmati rice and fried plantain. The meats were well seasoned and fell off the bone. I also had a beef patty and kola champagne soda while waiting on the food. Patty was bursting with meat and flavors. Thanks to the very warm and friendly owner, Ozi, I got some sorrel to take home to “wash down” the food. I forgot to take pics and by the time I remembered I had already demolished the plate. Chef’s kiss! I will definitely be back SOON and you should stop by as well. The icing on the cake is that Ozi is just a warmhearted, down to earth, conscious, passionate about food, person who strives to make his customers happy. Big up Ozi. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Just moved to LA from SF was looking for some really good oxtails. And i found more than that. This my new go to spot jerk chicken !! fire 🔥🔥so juicy spicy over exceeded my expectations. Oxtails i could used some bigger cuts, also bomb so GOOD. Mac and cheese more like crack and cheese. Definitely will be back again and again.

As a Jamaican living in LA it has been hard for me to find good Jamaican food but Ozi is the best! I ate his food tonight for the first time and was so pleasantly surprised. I asked for coco bread and he warmed it up for my friend and I. Thank you Ozi, can’t wait to dine with you again soon

This is the closest thing to eating in Manchester Jamaica. The oxtail with butter beans blew my mind. I have been eating Ozi’s food since he was a pop up on Sunset Blvd.. Authentic, artistic, an LA gastro anomaly. So good.

I would not recommend this place. The food didn't live up to expectations – it tasted old and as if it had been reused. The overall experience was far from what I anticipated, and the quality simply wasn't there. It seems promising from the outside, but unfortunately, the reality falls short.
