"The world needs rain. The world also needs tacos. But the world does not need them together in soggy matrimony. Pablo Y Pablo, a taqueria in Wallingford, understands this. They have a couple of different tent-plus-heater setups for any rainy-day scenario Seattle can throw you. They also have some tasty vegan chorizo nachos with cashew queso." - aimee rizzo
"The prospect of blood orange margaritas and battered fish tacos would get us excited to vote, too. Get some of those (or the vegan chorizo with cashew queso) alongside one of Pablo Y Pablo’s kale chopped salads for a very good meal." - aimee rizzo
"When: Monday-Friday 4-5:30pm, Saturday-Sunday 3-5:30pm The Deal: $10 Classic Margaritas, $10 Palomas, $10 Mules, $8 Wells, $18 Triple T (Tecate, Tequila, and Taco), $7 Glasses Of House Wine Pablo Y Pablo has great vegan options like their plant-based chorizo crispy tacos with cashew queso and vegetable nachos. Their margaritas are technically vegan, too." - Aimee Rizzo
"Gas Works Park is a beautiful slope of greenery that used to be a gasification plant, which means it’s filled with old rusty structures of yesteryear. That being said, it looks like the setting of a post-apocalyptic student film or a very fun wiffleball field waiting to be played on. What it doesn’t have, however, is tequila. You’ll need to head to Pablo Y Pablo for that. The tacos here are great, especially the vegan ones, and we’re also big fans of their chopped salad. Sit out on a picnic table and keep the margaritas coming." - aimee rizzo
"Gather all of your friends for a brunch at Pablo y Pablo, because this place has three things you’ll want to get involved with: picnic tables outside, blood orange margaritas, and chilaquiles. You could also get a chopped salad, or a couple of a la carte tacos (we like the steak). Starting with an avocado tostada topped with a fried egg isn’t a bad idea, either." - aimee rizzo
