Where to Eat Seafood in San Diego

"The first Southern California seafood outpost of this popular San Francisco restaurant chain landed in the Westfield UTC mall, serving up wild-caught and sustainably-raised seafood. With a focus on fish, customers can order pokes, ceviches, sushi “tacos,” and fish burgers like the popular Viet Hot Fish. More San Diego locations are in the works." - Helen I. Hwang

A great place for seafood! I’m a vegetarian whereas my partner isn’t and still this had tons of options for me too! Food : My partner ordered tacos and I ordered eggplant and both were delicious. The seafood was overall quite fresh Service : It was great just a bit slow. There were only four parties which were there and two servers yet it took forever for someone to come and help. Nevertheless sweet staff Atmosphere: The decor inside and outside patio is really nice. In summers not my favourite to sit outside as it’s too hot 🥵

Google
Pacific Catch is an amazing seafood restaurant that truly delivers on flavor, freshness, and value. The menu offers a variety of creative dishes that blend global inspiration with the freshest catch of the day. One dish you absolutely must try is the Mexican Grill – packed with bold flavors, grilled to perfection, and served with delicious sides. It’s a standout! The ambiance is relaxed yet vibrant, service is friendly, and parking is easily available – a big plus in this area. If you’re in the mood for fresh, flavorful seafood at a fair price, Pacific Catch is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Google
Pacific Catch was a great corner location at the mall that had pretty decent food. However, major deductions for the following: Bar had no blender and couldn’t make mixed drinks. My seat was constantly jostled by the person behind me because they were properly to the ground. Service was atrocious. Alex, our server failed to give us napkins/utensils, didn’t give my spouse her drink she ordered and she rarely checked on us and was delayed with our check. Would not return.

Google
We really enjoyed our meal. I took a photo after we had already dug into our food a bit. It wasn't as strong of a flavor explosion as another place we like but I really liked the colorful presentation, the fresh taste, and variety in each dish we had. And I think the food here tasted better than some other 4 stars out there! The kids meal was a decently sized portion (forgot to take a picture), their shrimp was overcooked though and just the slightest bit charred in a few places which they didn't like. My shrimp was perfect though. The salmon chowder was also tasty

I visited this restaurant in La Jolla at 8:40 PM, knowing they close at 9 PM. Online orders were still available, so I walked in hoping to place my order in person since I was already there. One of the employees told me they needed to check if the kitchen was still open. A few moments later, they returned saying the grill was down and the kitchen was closed. As someone who works in the restaurant industry myself, I found this disappointing. If the kitchen is truly closed, online ordering should also be turned off. Yet, I was still able to place an online order immediately after being turned away—and my food was ready in 15 minutes. Clearly, the kitchen was operating. It left me with the impression that they simply didn’t want to take my order because they were closing soon. I would’ve appreciated honesty or at least a suggestion to place a to-go order instead. The staff could have said, “Dining is closed, but feel free to order for pickup.” But I wasn’t even given that option. I was genuinely excited to try this place, so it was disheartening to feel unwelcome. Thankfully, my meal turned out to be tasty—so it wasn’t a total loss. Still, I believe the management should revisit their guest service approach and order policy during closing hours. I don’t know the name of the staff member, but I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests...

Stopped by for lunch and everything we ate was delicious. The ahi three way is a big portion. Our server was great too. Would come back.

Google
This spot consistently serves incredibly fresh, delicious fish and pairs it with top-notch service. Our server, Andrew, went above and beyond to make the experience truly enjoyable.

Google
Highly recommend! If you’re dining in, the restaurant is super cute and has beachy vibes/ decor. The service is 5/5 and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the Baja Fish tacos as well as the grilled sea bass tacos. Drinks are also delicious and pair great with most of their dishes.

Yelp
Come here about once a week. Great variety on the menu excellent service. Highly recommend the original poke bowl, the salmon bowl and the fish and chips. Ash is always super friendly and very attentive.

Yelp
Tried out Pacific Catch and it was a chill, casual spot. Most of the menu is seafood, but I decided to switch it up and try the steak--it was actually pretty good. It came with kimchi fried rice and Brussels sprouts. The rice was solid, but the Brussels sprouts were way too much for me. I asked if I could swap the sprouts for more rice, and they said it'd be an extra $3-$4... to replace a side. Yeah, no thanks. I didn't eat the sprouts and just moved on. Nothing really stood out beyond that. It was fine, but nothing I'd rush back for.

Yelp
I really enjoyed eating lunch here on a Saturday. I was able to find parking right in front of the restaurant and I really love how cute the aesthetic is of this place. Our server, Jordan was very attentive and made the experience.very nice . The piña colada I had was the best piña colada I've ever had. It was pure perfection. We shared the ceviche and poke appetizer. I can't wait to have that again. We also enjoyed the fish and chips and thought it was very good too.

Yelp
First time here and it won't be the last! Great experience, excellent food, friendly service. I had the grilled salmon bowl and I can't wait to go back and have it again. Super fresh, flavorful and tasty! Our server (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) was very friendly and helpful, gave recommendations and was prompt with drinks and refills. We sat on the patio and it was so pleasant...the whole place is clean and appealing to eye. This is a must do place for lunch next time I'm at UTC and I highly recommend.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch in the UTC mall. The bowls are fresh, healthy, flavorful, and can be made vegetarian which is awesome!

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday for happy hour. Grabbed all the poke options and shared two drinks. The inside is very large and has plenty of seating. Service was prompt and friendly. The happy hour is a great deal. Highly recommend. You probably do not need reservations unless on weekends.

Yelp
I love that you don't have to wander around inside the mall to try to find this place. The entrance is right off the parking lot! Super cute outdoor seating area BUT it's right off the parking lot. I was sat quickly and my server came by at just the right time. He answered a couple of questions, took my order, and was on his way. He came back periodically to check on me but was never gone so long that I felt forgotten about. I ordered the taco platter with steak and shrimp and a side of sweet potato fries. Everything came out pretty quick. The tacos were good but they weren't as big as the server made them out to be. If you're pretty hungry you'll want to get 3. The black beans were ok, they weren't very flavorful and I wasn't a fan of the consistency. All in all I had a great experience and I would go back.

Yelp
Came here for their "Aloha Hour" from 3-6pm and was pretty happy with their selection although it's still quite pricey for a happy hour. We ordered the Pupu platter which was a selection of things for $25. Everything was pretty tasty especially the poke guacamole, but the fish skewers were quite bland. I also got the guavarita for $9, which was a well made drink but again still pricey for a happy hour. The vibe here is really cute inside and they have a nice patio outside too. Service was pretty nice but our server did mess up on our receipt and overcharged for one of the pupu platters we got. Not sure if I would come back again unless it was during their happy hour for a work event.

Yelp
Good food, decent prices, nice indoor and outdoor seating, service was ok could do better but not bad. Good for lunch or dinner, ill be back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
I used to be frequent diner at Pacific Catch but stopped going a few months ago after a few disappointing visits. My dinner mates chose PC for dinner so I met them there. We got there at 5:30 on a Friday. The parking lot and mall were busy but pleasantly surprised when we walked into PC and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. The menu has been thinned out a lot. Many of the items I would normally order were gone. I was a little sad to not see some items. Got the calamari and shrimp tempura roll for apps. Sushi roll was great. The calamari was ok even though I was hungry but definitely not the best I've had. I think they were over fried and a bit salty. I got the West Coast Style Bowl and my friends got the Mexican Grill Bowl and a Waygu Burger. The food all tasted so much better than before. I feel that with the more limited menu, the kitchen is better able to concentrate on quality. The Burger was juicy and perfectly medium, not burned like it had been in previous visits. The bowls were fresh and full of flavor. The fish was cooked perfectly and moist. Just beware that the Mexican Grill is a bit spicy if you don't want spicy. Also got a Thai iced tea. Strong and not too sweet but tasted a little off. Probably should have waited to get a boba across the way after dinner instead. I took a glance at the happy hour menu. It looks good but we were not sitting on the patio or the bar so we couldn't partake. But the dinner menu is still reasonably priced for good quality food at a sit down restaurant in the mall that's clean and has a nice vibe without loud music. I like that you can keep a conversation going here without obnoxious music or loud customers. I'm happy that things are better and I look forward to eating here again.

Yelp
The food here is good. It's our first time eating here and the fish is hot and delicious. The mashed potatoes were perfect and we will be back again. It's a Tuesday and they're just a little bit busy. Our waitress is Megan E and she is amazing. It's noon and we are full now.

Yelp
I've eaten here many times and have basically ordered everything from the menu. My favorite thing to order that always taste good dining in or for take out is the 3 taco plate. I like to try the different tacos but my faves are the Baja fish, grilled fish and Baja shrimp tacos. I get it with a side of sweet potato fries and beans. They also have really yummy tortilla chips and wonton chips you can eat it with. My second favorite thing to order is the poke trio. It comes with 3 different kinds of poke and rice and all of them are so flavorful and yummy. I would eat them with chips too. Ambiance is cute as well. They have a wide bar place where you can try a lot of good happy hour food and drinks. I like that they offer indoor and outdoor seating and have cute fireplaces. It's great for big groups since theirs so much space. I've never had an issue with service. All of the waiters are very friendly and sweet. Sign up for their rewards too for discounts! You can earn points to redeem on food and they give you a birthday bowl for your bday which is rare for restaurants and what I think is so generous!!

Yelp
Two words: HAPPY HOUR. The pricey regular menu is saved by the great prices during their happy hour which made it totally worth it to come. The service was not the greatest as I felt unattended to since the beginning of the visit; having no utensils while our appetizer is out isn't the best start. The food was tasty for happy hour prices but I don't think I would come any time outside of those hours. I do enjoy the patio which is good for people watching. It has a relaxing modern vibe that was enjoyable.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant was cute and hip appearing with lots of bright colors, a full bar, and outdoor seating. They also have happy hour on both weekdays and weekends with a pretty expansive menu. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, which was delicious, fresh and well seasoned. I then ordered the fish tacos and what a disappointment!! There was no flavor, the slaw was undressed, and they only provided one dry lime. There was some sauce on the top but it wasn't nearly enough. That being said the portion of fish was generous, and for that I am grateful. The service was also mediocre. They didn't provide silverware, and took forever to provide water. I would recommend getting your fish taco fix elsewhere

Yelp
A go to for us at UTC! Always amazing service with delicious, fresh food every time! I especially love their cocktails, the shark fin was a new favorite but their blood orange margarita is always top notch. The sashimi trio was fresh and well priced and the interior is sleek but still welcoming. Next time you're at UTC, definitely give it a try!
google avatar

Yelp
I was cruising along the UTC area and felt like some seafood so I stopped by here. The place was busy as I walked in so that was a good sign. I ordered the Kanpachi with the Asian Herb Chimichurri. The sides I ordered were the Grilled Broccolini and the "Elote" Corn. The Kanpachi came out and tasted delicious! The "Elote" Corn was tasty, but the broccolini needed to be cooked a little longer The service was decent since our server was busy with other tables. The restaurant is a great place to get some good seafood, and they have a full bar! I'll be back to try the other menu items when I am back in the area!

Seth M.

Yelp
I really want to like Pacific Catch, but I can't. I you enjoy the smallest tail piece of the fish, this is your go to. Per that management, they don't buy any other cuts of fish. A tail piece every time. Combine this with shrinkflation making your meal smaller and smaller every time that you go, it is a recipe for looking elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
First all the ambience and service was amazing. The bad review is specifically for the food. We got the pupu platter and poke and ceviche platter and the Brussels, we always like to try as much as we can. The Only stand out was their original poke, that was fresh and delicious. Everything else was lacking majorly. Their other poke had zero flavor, the shrimp was rubber, the seabass had a god awful marinade, the pork belly was ice cold, the Brussels were undercooked and not cut correctly. We ended up sending one platter back but ate the other. I am just so dissapointed at the lack of flavor, we had high hopes.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. There's a lot of variety from fish and chips too nice big dinners mashed potatoes french fries still a little bit of everything even sushi so it's really good as you could see by the pictures and I sat at the bar nice view. Nice decoration the service at the bar was really good. The girl was very polite and nice. Ambience is kind of like tropical outdoor California living.
google avatar

Yelp
Chris and Nick was great! I loved the food. Had 3 tacos and fish & chips. Food was amazing! I tried the Sangria, yet I was disappointed. It was wine with tasteless fruit.

Yelp
A nice addition to the east side of UTC. We stopped in for lunch soon after opening but in the middle of the week. Seating inside and out, with bar seating available as well. We had no wait, no reservation, and no shortage of tables on the outside patio to choose from. We certainly weren't the only patrons, but it wasn't crowded by any means... which was funny because we heard a few parties state that they had reservations when they arrived. If you need that added assurance of a table then go ahead and make a res... otherwise, it doesn't seem like you'll have an issue walking in mid-week. Now on to the main dish... we ordered a 2 taco plate with beans, chips and salsa, as well as the poke. For tacos I had one traditional battered fish taco and one shrimp. Both were delicious, with very well cooked fish and shrimp. The breaded fish was light and flakey. Not at all oily or too heavy... and the taco was filled with a perfect blend of guacamole and cabbage. This was my favorite. The shrimp was really well cooked, and served similarly with cabbage and guacamole. The taco shells were well made corn tortillas, still soft but firm enough not to break while eating. The poke was really nice. Fresh non-fishy cubes smothered in a nice aioli and paired with light freshly made wontons. Again, not at all greasy. Overall, the quality of the ingredients was evident everywhere from the fresh pico de gallo to the tortillas and the pieces of seafood itself. My main (and really only) critique is that while the flavors were there, they were quite muted. I could do with a little heat in the spices that covered the shrimp, or some spice in the guacamole in the tacos. All in all, food was great, prices matched the level of service and atmosphere fitting of the locale, and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Yelp
Early lunch on Thursday before it got busy service was quick but I could have used a warmup on my coffee other than that, our server, was friendly. We ordered the Cabo Calamari as our starter and it was pretty tasty, crispy with a yummy dipping sauce. I ordered a side as I didn't want a heavy lunch and selected the Kimchi Fried Rice Sunnyside Egg. I could taste the kimchi which is a good thing and I was satisfied with this dish. It complemented the Cabo Calamari.

Yelp
Went here for a Father's Day lunch. Located in the UTC mall in University City/La Jolla. It's kind of a Hawaiian fusion restaurant that serves unique dishes inspired from the Islands. We ordered the guacamole chips but it was also topped with poke on top. That was the difference and it wasn't too bad. We ended up running out of chips with still some guacamole left. Also shared the firecracker salmon rolls. Overall, the taste was ok. Felt like it needed more flavor to it and the rice was a little dry but still good. Then shared the main entree which was the Korean bbq steak dish. Meat was tender and flavorful but wish it had more meat. The kimchi fried rice was good and wasn't too spicy. It seems like my fiancé's favorite part of the dish were the brussels. It had a perfect taste and was crispy. The egg to me was just an add on. Maybe could have gone without it and added more meat instead. The service was great and they checked on us often. The ambiance is nice and the interior decorations are pleasant. We sat outside in the patio so it was a nice scenery even though u get a lot of people walking by since it is the mall looking at u and what you're eating. But overall, a very nice place to eat and the location is prime since u can walk and shop around the mall before or after your meal.

Yelp
Update: Came back for dinner and we had another great meal here. The service was really great too! Wish I remember our waiter's name. I ordered the Mixed Catch seafood platter with regular fries. So yummy! So much seafood for $24. My friend was pretty happy with her two taco plate too. She has a gluten allergy and they had an entire menu for her. Great happy hour Monday to Friday 3-6pm. Dining out has become quite expensive so it's nice to take advantage of their Happy Hour specials. Tuesdays are also 50% off bottles of wine. The shrimp ceviche and the yellowtail fish ceviche were delicious. The guacamole poke was a bit bland and plain. The crunchy fish taco was good too. It's a fairly large and nicely decorated restaurant. We opted to sit outside on their patio. There are heaters and it's always fun to people watch too.

Yelp
We ate here with friends for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. Pacific Catch is on the eastern end of UTC Westfield. We had a nice outdoor table -- inside was too too loud! My wife and I shared two dishes: Hawiian Pork Belly (4/5) -- This was a Street Food selection -- Two open-faced "gua boa" with glazed chashu pork, grilled pineapple and slaw. $12.50 Pupu Platter (3/5) -- This was a mixed bag ... and a mistake to order. The Coconut Shrimp (4/5) were very good, as was the Guaco-Poke (4/5). The Spicy Salmon Sushi Tacos (3/5) were just OK, but the Sticky Ribs (1/5) were way overcooked and awful. $29.95 Our drinks were very good, as was the service. The first two hours of UTC parking is free.

Yelp
I met up with a dear friend for lunch here. A great location! We knew we had a lot to catch up on so we started with the Cabo Calamari - crispy calamari, fried lemon slices, Fresno chilies, chipotle aioli We ordered the following entrees... Crispy Baja Cod Taco Platter- 2 large tacos, cabbage, avocado-tomatillo, pico de gallo, jalapeño tartar, lime crema, cilantro including cole slaw and fries. Crispy Baja Shrimp Taco Platter- 2 large tacos, cabbage, avocado-tomatillo, pico de gallo, jalapeño tartar, lime crema, cilantro including black beans and sweet potato fries The calamari was delicious. We each shared one of our tacos with each other. Both the fish and shrimp choices were really good! Also their non alcohol beverage Watermelon Mojito was delicious! Will definitely come back!!!

Yelp
The inside is very nice, you can tell they spent money on the visuals. However, the food was terrible. Everything we order had that super sweet teriyaki sauce just sprayed all over the place. Everything tasted like the over powering sweet teriyaki sauce, the ribs, the steak, the chicken, the rice, the brussel sprouts... man not good at all.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
Went here for the first time and tried the grilled sea bass entree. The Thai Brussels sprouts were amazing - crispy and flavorful! I would order it again. The calamari was also delicious and lightly battered.

Yelp
Great food and service! The poke is solid, and any place that serves simply cooked fresh fish with hawaiian red sea salt has my heart. Ash our server was patient with my preferences and changing my mind, and I really appreciate her for that! Cheers to Pacific Catch!
google avatar

Matt K.

Yelp
Although overpriced like everything in this corner of UTC the food is quite good and probably a bit less expensive than some of the neighboring restaurants. We got a free starter (Poke guacamole chips) for signing up as a first time visitor, a teriyaki chicken bowl and sea bass plate. All were quite good and the service from both the hostess and server were excellent.

Excellent team dinner tonight at this great restaurant. The food was good as always but Scott's service was the best part. Highly recommend pacific catch and you have to ask for Scott!

Yelp
Worst dining experience of my life. The manager named Matt was argumentative that the grilled lobster dish I ordered from the gluten free menu was not actually gluten free- for some reason there were "free Hawaiian rolls" on my plate and when I saw them I asked if they were gluten free to which Matt said obviously not and that the whole plate was not gluten free. He then proceeded to tell me "I know the whole menu like the back my hands" and even grabbed the hawaiian rolls off my plate with his BARE HANDS. Ive never experienced that before. Jordan our server who we liked came back with the gluten free menu and of course my grilled lobster dish was on that gluten free menu and it didn't indicate Hawaiian rolls. So mistakes by the manager and kitchen staff too. Another manager comes by and offers to comp us our sides. We take it but doesn't make up for entire experience. Also the food wasnt good and my lobster tail was overcooked and super dry- tasted precooked and warmed up right before serving! Jordan should just be the new manager.

Yelp
So impressed with Pacific Catch. First time here and already a fan. Came here Friday night no wait, seated right away. Server came by took our order and brought it out. The food here is amazing and so fresh. I got the Latin Chimichurri Kanpachi small bowl and it was still a big bowl. I definitely didn't leave hungry that's for sure. I'm so glad I got to try this spot out. It's definitely good food and service, can't wait to come back and try something else on their menu. Thank you Pacific Catch for a delicious first experience.

Yelp
This is the first place I brought my visiting family to eat at! My go to order is their Korean BBQ with skirt steak and ribs. Portion is great I can never finish it myself. I love their Brussel sprouts, super flavored. They also have fish tacos which were delicious. The place is also really clean which is a big pro for me.

Yelp
My friend and I were deciding what to get for lunch in the UTC area and yes there are a lot of choices in the area. We decided that we wanted something different and this is what the doctor ordered. We shared three tacos, fish and chips and salad with yellow tail. A great place for lunch We will be back to sample more offerings

Yelp
Great food and great service! Thank you to our server Rachel Ann and to the wonderful chefs in the kitchen!

Yelp
Wow, Pacific Catch surprised me! I honestly thought this establishment was more of like Rubio's. You know that fast food seafood type of place. Boy was I wrong! First off, the place is pretty big. It also had an outside patio and plenty of space indoors. Everyone was smiling and helpful. Pretty robust menu but I went simple and got the "Fresh Catch" option where you basically build your plate. Chose Salmon, with Sea Salt along with a salad & mashed potatoes [$29]. Everything on that plate was great- super fresh and super tasty. Got to try their calamari app & that was pretty good as well. The dessert we opted for was the Dulce De Leche that came with two pieces and vanilla ice cream. It was yummy! Service was on point, place was clean, & plenty of parking so Pacific Catch has it all. Will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Yelp
Really great location in a mall that was super busy. Great decor and loved our seat out on the patio area. Beautiful menus and selection of items. The chimichuri bowl(Latin) bowl with fish was fabulous but...most of our other choices were meh. The guacamole poke appetizer was fair but too much guacamole not as much poke. The poke chips appetizer was not flavorful--soggy chips, ok on marination. The Hawaiian poke bowl was a bit disappointing but decent price

Yelp
Family birthday. Very accommodating with a party of 15. Let us set up balloons and store the cake. Shared some pretty amazing guacamole with house made chips. They had kids friendly menus and also it's an indoor open air spot that's beautiful to hit up on a nice day. Service and menu is decent Personally it's like a pacific mix of Asian Latin Hawaiian and mexican. Lots going on. But the fusion comes together nicely. We got the mixed seafood with two fish and shrimp. Potato's bravas and kimchi fried rice. I was amazed on their new menu bravas. Really reminded me of the Peruvian Argentina and Brazil type of bravas I have had. Also excellent service. Pricey but normal for utc.

Yelp
I have passed by this place so many times and it just looked like a generic area food restaurant but boy was I wrong. Had to be some of the best seafood I've ever had. The menu had tons of options and the portions were generous. The Japanese style egg plant was some of the most flavorful eggplant I have ever had. The summer sea bass was also to die for, it was so filling. The sweet potato was great, the chutney added a sweet touch, and the bass was soft and full of flavor. Cannot recommend this place enough, my only gripe was the purple sweet potato chips that came with the tiger ceviche were not good.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Westfield UTC. The servers are friendly and helpful, and the food is quite good. But the bartenders need to improve their skills when it comes to making Mojitos. Often, they only squeeze one lime wedge instead of using at least half of a lime, which can make the drink taste more like a gin and tonic. And I have never seen them use a muddler to get the flavors out of the lime. Thumbs down for that!

Yelp
This was probably the 10th time I visited Pacific Catch at the UTC mall. Came here with friends as well as with work people. Overall, it's a good restaurant not far from work that can satisfy most people. But in terms of food, I came to expect just ok food and nothing spectacular. The service was always nice and pleasant. During our last visit, I order the double rainbow bowl, which had 6 pieces of fish, rice and one big scoop of crab salad, some veggies/pickled cucumber/seaweed salad and avocado. It was ok. The quality of the fish was not as good as what you'd get from a good sushi restaurant, but I guess that should be expected. The avocado was kinda dark with bruises, something that they probably shouldn't serve to customers. Honestly it's not worth the price they're changing but I guess things are expensive these days. My bf got the fresh catch, salmon with broccolini. He said that the salmon didn't have a lot of taste. He's on a diet so he's happy it was not that good so he wouldn't over eat. ha ha... Anyway, we'll probably visit the restaurant again in the future. It's close to work and close to home. Always nice service and we never had to wait for a table. But I do think that food-wise, you really don't get what you pay for.

Yelp
I loooooove this place! Be aware - portions are very generous (good problem to have, right?) My friend and I stopped by there two nights ago and were very delighted with our experience. I got mai thai which was fabulous, we shared shrimp ceviche and each got a small bowl. Although bowls were marked small on the menu they were very well sized and definitely enough food. I got Mexican shrimp bowl with no beans and my friend got salmon. We were pleased with our selection

Yelp
Everything was superb. Service from the host to the server, Scott, was attentive and swift. Food came out like 10 minutes after we ordered. Water was refilled. Price was so reasonable.

Yelp
Great place to get fish tacos and Mexican style seafood. This is a big chain restaurant but still a great location for large parties with plenty of parking options in the Westfield mall Free two hour parking only!

Yelp
I typically don't leave negative reviews, but I want to share our experience in hopes that it helps others avoid a similar situation. My husband and I were excited to try a new restaurant for date night, especially in an upscale location like UTC. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. While our server did her best, she was juggling too many tables, which greatly affected the service. The food was pretty good, once we finally got our cutlery (we had to ask twice) AFTER our food was sitting in front of us! I won't go into too much detail, but the bathrooms were so neglected! It was really gross! We weren't the only ones disappointed. We could overhear other patrons expressing frustration, including a gentleman next to us who asked for ketchup, only to be told by his server that he "would check and see if he could find any, as they were running low." Overall, while the food had potential, the service and cleanliness left much to be desired. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on our experience.

Yelp
Glad to be able to dine here when we visit SD. They have a great happy hour and the staff here is great. Shout out to Megan on today's visit. She sat at the bar and it was a pleasure to chat with her! The food here is always very good and if you love seafood, this is the best place at the mall for it.
