Pacific Catch - Review - Santa Monica - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"No one was asking Santa Monica for another tourist-friendly seafood spot, but it makes sense that this chain from the Bay Area chain decided to open its first LA location near Ocean Avenue. With a huge wave mural, pineapple-print booths, and tiki cocktails, Pacific Catch has the look and feel you'd expect from a place within walking distance of the water and a giant ferris wheel. Overall though, it gets a lot right: prices are reasonable considering the location, and the crowd-pleasing seafood concept works well for a casual meal or a Happy Hour stop when you need a break from shopping and/or beach strolling. Choosing what entree to get from the sprawling menu is like scrolling through Netflix to pick a new show to watch, but that’s the best part about dining here. Most of the dishes come in individual portions, but our favorites are the shareable appetizers like coconut shrimp or the poke guacamole. Pacific Catch is basically the Cheesecake Factory of seafood, which means you can order a poke bowl, while your mom goes for the lobster roll and your aunt gets fish tacos. And no matter what everyone lands on, it’ll be just fine. Food Rundown photo credit: Wonho Frank Lee Pupu Platter The appetizers here are excellent, so we like this huge platter that lets you sample four of them: coconut shrimp, sticky ribs, sushi tacos, and poke guacamole. Make sure you eat the sushi tacos before the nori gets soggy, and don’t be the person who hoards all the poke. photo credit: Pacific Catch Miso Black Cod Our favorite entrée. The cod is buttery and flakes easily, and the string beans on the side are nicely charred. Plus, the bed of furikake-seasoned sushi rice is good enough to eat alone. photo credit: Pacific Catch Hawaiian Ahi Poke Bowl This rice bowl is loaded with two big scoops of tuna poke—one tossed in a light soy marinade, the other coated in sriracha aioli. The fish is fresh, the rice is properly vinegary, and the edamame and cucumbers add a snappy crunch. photo credit: Pacific Catch East Coast Lobster Roll This lobster roll is warm and generously packed, but the bread is a butter bomb, which is good if you really love butter, but also distracts from the lobster. photo credit: Cathy Park Crispy Dulce de Leche Spring Roll The spring roll part of this dessert will probably throw you off. The wrapper is made of deep-fried flaky dough, with a cheesecake filling that’s too tangy and sweet. Fortunately, the ice cream mellows it out and is the best thing on the plate." - Cathy Park

I've been meaning to write this for a while, but Pacific Catch Santa Monica was amazing! The food, drinks, and service were all great. Our waitress, Leanne (not sure about the spelling), was so kind and made sure our son's meal was adjusted for his allergies, which we really appreciated. We had the coconut shrimp with Thai chili sweet sauce--crispy and flavorful. The lobster roll was buttery and delicious. The spicy Sriracha grilled chicken taco had the perfect kick. For our son, we got the kids' teriyaki bowl with salmon, and it was cooked just right. We also had a Piña Colada and a Mai Tai, both really good! On top of that, the ambiance was great--relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for a nice meal. It's been a bit since we visited, but the experience was so good that I had to finally write this. Definitely a place we'd go back to!

Went for lunch and sat at the bar. The restaurant has plenty of natural light and a pleasant ambiance. Service was friendly, though slightly nervous at times.. We ordered the Spicy Scallop Hand Roll, Lobster Hand Roll, Kimchi Fried Rice with egg, Ahi Poke Nachos, and Coconut Shrimp. Both hand rolls, while fresh, lacked seasoning and felt underwhelming, especially considering they were part of the seasonal specials. The poke and fried rice, had a similar effect and were also a bit bland. The standout was the Coconut Shrimp, crispy, evenly coated, and paired well with the sweet and sour sauce. Overall, I probably wouldn’t return, but it’s possible I didn’t order their signature dishes

IG/TT @eatwkris Lobster roll 4/5 fries weren’t crispy Korean bbq steak 5/5 best item all around Poke guac 5/5 Sea bass skewers 5/5 Fish taco 3/5 Salmon tempura sushi 3/5 Chocolate cake 3/5 no lava This was my first time at pacific catch in Santa Monica and I can’t wait to come back again. I started with their poke guacamole and wow the fish quality was excellent and so buttery. For mains I recommend getting their lobster roll. Something about that sweet bread and butter made every bite so delicious. My favorite item was their Korean bbq plate. The portion is huge for $32 and comes with tender sweet and savory steak, the tastiest Thai Brussels, pickled cucumbers, kimchi fried rice and a sunny side up egg. Indulge in their chocolate cake for dessert and Enjoy!

Lovely experience with great service, good, and atmosphere…sitting at bar, sharing food with a close friend. Ordered gluten free Serrano ahi poke (chips a bit stale, maybe cuz GF 🤷🏻‍♀️), Chilean sea bass skewers over a bed of delicious & refreshing salad, grilled lobster tail (came with yummy mashed potatoes with lovely broiled top, and broccolini). Had lemongrass mojito and Pina colada. I was happy.

For our anniversary, we decided to treat ourselves to a fancy lunch at Pacific Catch. We were excited about Pacific Catch because they specialize in high quality sustainable seafood! Inside the beautifully nautical themed restaurant, we enjoyed the: * Surf & Turf - grilled lobster and skirt steak with mashed potatoes, broccolini, and hawaiian rolls. jaw dropping + dreamworthy!! The obvious standout of the day! * Lobster Roll - generous amount of fresh lobster on top of a perfectly toasted hawaiian roll! we had with fries and doused the whole thing in butter. You can taste how carefully crafted each piece in this dish was done. * Fish & Chips - golden, flaky Alaskan cod + lots of fries and coleslaw. simple but so delicious! You can tell everything had so much care and attention to detail put into it. Presentation and taste were all on point and service was warm and attentive. So happy we got to dine here! And would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Tried this new place with a friend for the first time, very nice! Super friendly server and staff, nice large generous portions. I had three fish tacos and was stuffed. 2 fried and 1 grilled. Awesome, I'll be back.

I was expecting $$$ or $$$$ for such a nice, prime corner seafood restaurant across the street from Hillstone restaurant, but I was very surprised that the place was good, fun, and affordable. The 7 of us ordered many different dishes: Pupu platter and coconut shrimp for starters. I really enjoyed the small but tasty 6 oz lobster. It was perfectly cooked (nicely grilled, slightly undercooked, just the way i like!) with sides of chimichurri and warm drawn butter. The broccolini, mash potatoes, and Hawaiian bread rolls were perfect. However, my friends' miso cod and lobster rolls were "just okay." The 2 poke orders looked great and the fresh catch grilled salmon looked good. Surprisingly the prices were really reasonable. So value for the money, especially the fresh grilled lobster ($34) and grilled salmon were excellent. And the poke bowls were filled with protein and reasonably priced. The drinks were okay. For happy hour, they could offer pitcher of mai tai or 2 other tropical drinks for around $42. So, I would recommend this place for a nice seafood place, not overpriced, close to the beach. Maybe the view is not as great as the ocean-facing Water-Grill. Though Water Grill is fresher, tastier and has an incredible ocean view, but at double the food prices. Both are good places, but 2 different classes of seafood restaurants.

I had an amazing experience at Pacific Catch. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was great, and the service was friendly and attentive. I love the menu is creative and reminds me of a Hawaiian vibe. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Noel was amazing! All of his menu recommendations were fantastic. I absolutely loved this place!

Yelp
Stopped by this place for some food and drinks with a friend of mine and had a great experience. Great food and a good variety of drinks as well as fast service. Big shoutout to our bartender Sarah for being such a great host!

Yelp
This spot totally blew me away for their irresistibly tasty food, beautiful interior, and their welcoming atmosphere We ordered their West Coast Lobster Roll, Pacific Chowder, Korean BBQ plate, Clam Udon, Fresh Catch Sea Bass, and their Ala Carte Crispy Fish Taco. I really love how soft and creamy the Lobster Roll here, and the Chowder was really flavorful! We were pleasantly surprised at how tasty and well-balanced their Korean BBQ plate was. It was loaded with Kimchi Fried Rice, crispy Brussel Sprouts, and tender Korean BBQ steak! Definitely recommend this spot for a great dinning experience if you're around the area.

Yelp
We were excited to try this new place, however it was less than satisfactory and a disappointing experience. The food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold and not fresh. A couple sitting next to us sent their soup back because it was cold. On top of that drinks took a lifetime to arrive, which were bland and made the long wait even more frustrating. The staff seemed indifferent, and the overall service was lacking. For a new restaurant, I expected much better. Hopefully, they work out these issues, but I won't be returning.

Yelp
This is a great location! The food was OK. The service is not that great My first server , Samantha, was very friendly & helpful. I had ordered some sushi. And as soon as I was done, mind you, the bar was not busy the other server picture below hurry up and grab my stuff like she just wanted me out of there. Instead of asking me if I wanted anything else or a refill on my drink, I told her that I wasn't done eating. I wanted to get something else and instead of giving me time to look at the menu or ask me what I wanted she just came over and gave me a dirty look and said OK what you want it's the attitude she had. So I told her come back in a minute. I'm gonna look at the menu. Instead of being a decent server, she just kept her back to me the whole time when I tried to get her attention a few times. People like her shouldn't be working anywhere because clearly she has a problem. She is in the service industry. Her hair being unkempt was completely disgusting and then on top of that her attitude you wait for someone to order and if they're calling you and you clearly hear them you come over and you take the order. It's still like to know what she mumbled under her breath, cause I have quite a few words for her as well . And the guy training staff has a bunch of neck tattoos, which is extremely unprofessional & creepy for a place like this.

Yelp
I'm always game for a new seafood restaurant, so while in the area I was glad to try Pacific Catch. Right in the heart of the well-trafficked tourist section of Santa Monica. Easy to get to. Street parking available. The restaurant is large, light, open and casual. Decor is simple but clean. Menu is extensive with plenty of light options to mix and match. We started with the salmon chowder. Had not seen that on a menu before and was worried it might be a little fishy, but it was not. Delicious, comforting, warm and just chowdery - I would order this again and highly recommend. We also had the yellowtail ceviche, which was fresh and both dishes were very ample in portion. We tried the trio of sushi tacos and the tempura shrimp roll. The fish was fresh and they were okay versions of themselves, but I would say that in a city with some of the best sushi in the country, I probably wouldn't order the sushi items again. The cooked fish dishes that I saw going by looked great so I would try one of those on my next visit. This apparently is a chain restaurant from up north but it doesn't really feel like one so kudos for that. The service was friendly and just right. Prices were very reasonable for seafood, which is refreshing. Hopefully they are filling a niche.

Yelp
Great little spot in Santa Monica across from the Fairmont. We got the calamari to share and then my friend got the miso cod and I the double rainbow bowl. Fish was great the portions were quite large. Come with an appetite or share. :) We had great service from Hannah who was very attentive and gave great recs.

Yelp
Yesterday (1/4/25) around 4 PM, I returned to Pacific Catch for another amazing meal! I was thrilled to discover they offer Happy Hour on weekends from 3 PM to 5 PM, with unbeatable prices and a fantastic selection. Naturally, I had to order my favorite, the Guaca Poke (original ahi poke layered with homemade guacamole, micro cilantro, and house-made tortilla chips), which is about $4 cheaper during Happy Hour. The drink specials were just as impressive--I enjoyed the Mango Daydream Hard Kombucha (a hard booch twice brewed with a tropical blend of mango, pineapple, and orange, perfectly spiced with a touch of cayenne pepper) for about $3 less during Happy Hour. For my main, I stuck with my usual: the Miso Black Cod (broiled miso Alaskan sablefish with furikake rice and sesame green beans). I swapped the green beans for their Thai Brussels (honey-lime glaze with crispy shallots), which I highly recommend. My father tried something new--the Spicy Green Curry Bowl (grilled salmon, eggplant, broccoli, green beans, carrots, marinated cucumber, house-made green curry sauce, crispy shallots, cilantro, served over mixed organic greens and sushi rice). It had a nice kick and was absolutely delicious! As always, Pacific Catch delivered, and I can't wait to come back. Pro Tips: *Download their rewards program to get a free starter for signing up and a free bowl for your birthday! *Park in Lot 2 (1235 2nd St, Santa Monica, CA 90401) for 90 minutes of free parking--it's just around the corner.

Yelp
A great addition to downtown Santa Monica by the Promenade! We came here for their soft opening and were not disappointed. Pacific Catch is located directly across from Hillstone's. They have a spacious indoor seating area and limited outdoor seating in the front that is surrounded by glass. They weren't offering a full menu when we visited but they had all the dishes we were interested in. Serrano ahi poke: 3.5 stars. My husband and mother really liked this dish. I felt like the texture was a bit mushy and the overall flavor profile was dominated by onion Cabo calamari: 4 stars. Portion was very generous. Calamari wasn't too heavily breaded and there were plenty of tentacles (my daughter's favorite). I loved the chipotle aioli. Spicy green curry grilled salmon bowl: 5 stars. They nailed it with this entree. Salmon was perfectly cooked and flaked easily with a fork. The curry was total comfort food. Nice assortment of veggies though nothing fancy. Salad was in good shape with nary a brown or wilted leaf in sight, and they were generous with the sunomono. Chocolate lava cake: 3 stars. The cake was a little too cakey for me with not enough lava. Strawberries were not quite ripe. Doesn't quite compare with Roy's, which is my standard in the world of Hawaiian food and lava cakes. Pineapple right side up cake: 3.5 stars. I preferred this to the lava cake, but honestly, I prefer a pineapple upside down cake. With this preparation, the pineapple didn't get a chance to caramelize and it wasn't all that sweet. Service was slow at times but they were friendly and did their best to be attentive. I'm sure it will get better with time. I'm sure we'll be back again. Pacific Catch has a lot going for it - convenient location, great fish (husband had the kanpachi, daughter had the salmon, mother had the black cod, and everyone loved their order), lots of child-friendly food, and plenty of mocktails to choose from. I'd probably skip the dessert next time and instead get a boba from Odd One Out on the Promenade

Yelp
For the most part, I thoroughly enjoyed Pacific catch and I'm glad this is in the Santa Monica area. We needed another good fish restaurant. I felt the prices were fair, but I ordered the fresh fish from Hawaii and I wish the portion was just a little bit bigger. For $35 for the Complete dinner it's not a bad deal. I asked for my salad ahead of time, but I guess they dropped the ball and forgot, but that's no big thing so everything came out at once. We will definitely be back. I asked for the music to be turned down a bit because it was pretty irritating and they did it immediately, which was great. I don't see a need for the music in this particular restaurant, but I guess the Owner's feel it is necessary for some reason. I definitely recommend you give it a try if you like fish. By the way, I saw the tacos on somebody else's plate and they were very nice sized. I saw the hours of the happy hour at this restaurant. They are three to six p.m. Monday through Friday . and three to five p.m. on weekends.

Yelp
Pacific Catch is a great chain of seafood restaurants. We love this one. We have been more than once for pick up and dine in. We love dine in. The place is a really nice size and it is super pretty. It is kept brand new looking and the seating is very comfortable. You will love the service. They have a great menu and the staff knows everything about it. Your food comes out as ordered and perfect every time. It has a full bar with a nice wine list and great craft beers. Everything there is good, but my favorite is their clam chowder and their pupu platter. Both are on the starter menu. The pupu platter has great deep fried coconut shrimp, chips, stick ribs, guacamole and great salmon sushi tacos. We always order the lobster surf and turf. The skirt steak that comes with it is so tender and cooked the way you want it. The lobster is a decent size, about 6 ounces. It comes with the best mashed potatoes and grilled Hawaiian bread, which you just can't get enough of. The vegetable is a really good broccolini, which has a nice chili-miso flavor. Everything is great so have fun.

Yelp
I always enjoy a good happy hour spot. For starters you have to start with their POKE & CEVICHE which is Original Ahi Poke yellowfin ahi tuna, sesame-soy marinade, sweet onion, red pepper flakes and wonton chips. They also have another delicious option which is Serrano Ahi Poke which is yellowfin ahi tuna, sweet onion, sriracha aioli, serrano chile and wonton chips. Their Classic Yellowtail Ceviche which is kanpachi, citrus marinade, avocado, red onion, cucumber, Fresno chile, cilantro and tortilla chips. I also enjoy their Baja Shrimp Ceviche which is shrimp, fresh lime marinade, avocado,Fresno chile, cilantro and tortilla chips. The staff is friendly and always helpful.

Yelp
Food is excellent quality and good value. Lots of opportunities for clean eating of sustainability sourced choices. Limited vegan options but those that are available are luscious. Atmosphere is lively but consequently loud. Lovely patio with attractive fire pit. Service is inconsistent. Sometimes attentive other times not very. On one occasion my server informed me his section awkwardly divided making him incredibly slow.

Yelp
Pacific Catch you have our hearts! This location is better than any other location we have been to! blackened salmon - mouth watering robby the waiter - what a guy!

John S.

Yelp
We were told the restaurant was full inside and that the only available seating was outside, which was fine with us. However, the service was an absolute disaster. It took forever for the waitress to even show up. We ordered drinks and main dishes, but the drinks didn't arrive until after the food--which itself took ages to come out. When it finally did, it was cold, so we had to send it back. Then, we had to wait again just to get the check. The food was okay, but the overall service was terrible. Definitely not worth the hassle and money.

Yelp
We enjoyed the friendly and efficient service. Delicious food. Bright, beachy decor. Convenient location. One can valet park in front of Walley's or self-park in the lots nearby.

Suzette B.

Yelp
Our service was amazing, thank you, Adolfo and Robbie. We wish you much success in the months to come! We never leave reviews, but for you we are definitely doing so! Congratulations on 2.5 months of service. The calamari appetizer was amazing, the black cot was outstanding!

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the yellow tail ceviche was it was a 5/5. The surf and turf was phenomenal- the steak was cooked to perfection and the chimichurri was the best i've ever had. Hannah's service was great, she's increasing friendly and it was very busy on valentine's day but she still took care of us. It was so busy they ran out of lobster mashed potatoes but we got crab mashed potatoes instead. SO GOOD! 10/10. Thanks again Hannah! Happy there is a new spot in Santa Monica for us to eat at.

Yelp
The food had great portions and the staff gave excellent service. My husband and I will be back for another restaurant experience.

Yelp
I am elated we have a Pacific Catch in Santa Monica! I was a regular their Bay Area locations. This classy casual restaurant and bar are a perfect addition to Santa Monica Weekdays they offer food specials, I had the Taco Platter with cod and shrimp crispy style. Generous portions included black beans, chips & salsa. Love the presentation and everything was expertly prepared. My friendly bartender Sam made me a delicious Lemongrass Mojito with Flor de Cana rum. How refreshing! Too many restaurants use bad rums like Bacardi or Captain Morgan. The ambiance is classy, beachy, comfortable with 2 dining areas, bar seating or the choice of 3 patio areas. Prices are really fair for such high quality food & drinks, which will keep me coming back.

Yelp
I was under stress after losing my house to the palisades fire and came across Pacific Catch. I ordered the crispy Baja fish tacos and husband got the lobster roll. He said it was the best he'd had in a long time. My tacos had a HUGE piece of fish. The sides: French fries, salad with miso dressing and the Cole slaw were incredible The staff were so sweet and caring to us that it seemed like a sense of normalcy was returning to my life. It should be noted the room is beautiful and clean

Yelp
I feel lucky to have discovered this place by accident while staying in Santa Monica recently. We walked in to get out of the rain, checked out the menu and decided to try it. I'm so glad we did! The decor is modern, with a hint of the "tropical", but not too much. Everything we ordered (the Double Rainbow Bowl, the glazed eggplant, chili-lime french fries) were fresh and delicious. Our server, Talen was a delight, both knowledgeable and friendly. We liked it so much we came back a second time while we were there. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This new spot in Santa Monica is a gem! The menu is creative, the portions are generous, and everything we tried was delicious. I was expecting smaller portions but was pleasantly surprised--it gave us the chance to try a variety of dishes! We started with the Jalapeño Margarita, which had the perfect balance of heat and citrus--such a fun drink. The Shiitake Miso Soup was comforting and full of umami, and the Broccolini was simple, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The Lobster Roll West Coast was buttery and loaded with lobster, while the Baja Shrimp Ceviche was bright, tangy, and super refreshing. The real star of the meal was the Miso Black Cod--so tender and flavorful, it practically melted in my mouth. Overall, everything was well-balanced, flavorful, and satisfying. This place is a great addition to Santa Monica, and I can't wait to come back to try more!

Yelp
Service was great, food was very good. Some items were sold out and there was a mixup with the ordering, but they just opened and it was the day after new years so I'm not too surprised. Fish tacos were great. I'd be happy to come here again!

Yelp
Love the ambience. Wine and cocktails showed up after the food arrived and it wasn't even busy. Busser took away food that was half eaten on the table. Mexican corn, there was no cojita cheese. Dennys seafood. Need to work out kinks.

Yelp
OMG... Love, love, love this brand new Santa Monica restaurant I was lucky enough to score a reservation at their soft opening on Saturday night and what an unforgettable dining experience & evening! Everything... incredible food, impeccable service, attentive staff, comfortable & spacious seating, & inviting ambiance were all top notch and earned an A+ from my perspective. Their food is very fresh, tasty, healthy and visually appealing. I was blown away by their scrumptious grilled striped sea bass with chimichurri sauce... divine! I chose the kimchi fried rice with a fried egg as my side dish... mouth-watering! Their house salad was one of the best tasting yet healthiest salads I've ever enjoyed. It is comprised of organic greens, shiitake mushrooms, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, edamame, & diakon sprouts in a heavenly miso dressing. Their enticing chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream satisfied our sweet craving and was the perfect last course. As a testament to how exquisite and appetizing this meal was, I came back again Monday evening and was equally blown away by the first class quality of service and food. Shout out to Hannah on Saturday and Samantha on Monday who both rendered impeccable customer service. Don't hesitate to treat yourself to this extraordinary new seafood and sushi restaurant...you will be hooked

Yelp
We enjoyed our Valentine's dinner at this new hot spot in Santa Monica. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Kudos to our server Robby.

Yelp
We had a 7pm reservation and upon arriving on time we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for a table. Outside was available but it's freezing cold. I overheard the waitress say that the servers are getting stressed and to stop seating people. They're a newer restaurant and we just left because it's ridiculous to wait. The food looked like more of a casual dining quality/fast food with higher end pricing. Pass.

Yelp
Food was great. We got the sashimi trio bowls and yellowtail ceviche. Everything was fresh and presentation was nice. Service was also very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Maybe my new favorite restaurant in Santa Monica. We discovered it by chance. I had the tuna poke bowl, and my husband had the seabass. He loved his food, and I was ecstatic about the poke bowl; since my poke bowl place closed during the Covid crisis, I have been looking for a replacement, and tried bowls in expensive and moderate restaurants, and been disappointed each time. This one at Pacific Catch was perfect, the rice and the tuna were well seasoned and each one was at its ideal temperature; the vegetables were lightly pickled, organic and plentiful, the avocado was perfect. I know I'm raving, but it has been a long search, and the search is over! :D Add to that that the service, prices and decor were all 5*.

Yelp
This review is later than I had hoped. We ate here in mid-January while evacuated from the Palisades fire and staying at the Regent Hotel on Ocean. Our server was lovely and I wish I could remember her name. My husband ordered the Lobster Roll which he loved and I ordered the Miso black cod. That was quite good(not Nobu but then what is) and would definately order again. The manaager came over and comped our dinner when he discovered we were evacuated which I thought was a very classy move. He said, "Just take care of my server", which we were happy to do. The space is quite large but comfortable. They seemed to be doing a robust take-out service. We need to support these new restaurants because they are dealing with immense financial challenges, now including the Palisades fire...

Yelp
This Bad Restaurant review is for Nice looking place in Santa Monica, who's name is "Pacific Catch" at 120 Wilshire Blvd. We just left my doctor app at the VA Hospital and we were hungry. It was raining and parking in Santa Monica is challenging so we parked and walked 4 blocks to Pacific Catch. We were refused service because we had a small service dog. We explained several times to Jim Farman about service dog rights to be accepted. Jim was abrupt and rudely refused us. Jim blamed and said the Owner Manager and Santa Monica Health Department will not let the restaurant accept service dogs in their establishment. Jim showed No remorse and asked us to leave. L told Jim I was not happy and we left and walked 4 blocks back to our car in the rain. In California, service animals are not required to be registered or certified, wear a vest, or complete an official training program. The only requirement is that the animal is individually trained to help a person with a disability. California Code for Service dogs, Every individual with a disability has the right to be accompanied by a guide dog, signal dog, or service dog, especially trained for the purpose, in any of the places specified in Section 54.1 without being required to pay an extra charge or security deposit for the guide dog, signal dog, or service dog. Disability verification: Staff at venues and landlords cannot demand documentation as a condition of entry. In California, they can ask two questions to validate whether you have a service dog (and only if the disability is not obvious): 1. Is the animal a service dog required for a disability? 2. What work or task has the service dog been trained to perform?

Yelp
Such a great new restaurant! Food is delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. The service was impeccable. Our server, Noel, was so informative and helpful. All of his suggestions were spot on. Loved this experience so much we joined the membership program. We will definitely be coming back and we live in the valley! Also, I had the Miso Cod and it was as good as, if not better, than the one at Nobu. Just sayin'

Yelp
Great menu with a ton of options! Vibes are great and the drinks are amazing too. Great place to go for nice food but a more relaxed atmosphere.

my boyfriend noticed this spot on a run the other day, got super excited after scrolling the menu for like 30 minutes, and convinced me we had to go. such a cute spot, literally walking distance (love that for us) and right next to another one of our faves. we sat on the patio, which was so cozy thanks to the heaters & perfect for a chilly evening. we shared a couple of their shareables, and omg, so good. we were already planning our next visit while we were still eating. they even have a rewards program, and we signed up on the spot-- even ended up getting one of our shareables for free! we couldn't stop giggling about how fun and interactive it made the whole experience. noel was an absolute gem! so attentive and personable. the kind of server that just makes your night even better. we're already hyped to check out their happy hour (i mayyyy be working from home more, lol). can't wait to bring our friends next time. pacific catch, you've officially got us hooked!

Yelp
I had a business dinner here on Sat evening. We had a particularly difficult order and our server Hannah was wonderful and handled it with grace.

Yelp
Great new restaurant with something for every taste. The ambiance is welcoming and the staff are amazing. Some are new so be patient as they are learning this extensive menu. I love the rewards program. I ordered the lobster roll. It was just OK. If you are from the east coast you may be disappointed. The dishes my friends ordered were delicious and they were extremely satisfied. I will definitely go back and try something different.

Yelp
I was a regular at the Bay Area and was very excited when I learned about this new location in Santa Monica. Happy to say everything was just as good here as it was in Northern California! Food was fantastic - from the Calamari appetizer to the poke bowl and fresh catch salmon entree. Crab mashed potatoes also a big plus! Service was great - our waitress was very friendly and kept checking in on us throughout the meal. Ambiance is classic Pacific Catch - casual but a great place to get high quality food at a reasonable price. This location is top notch too very close to the water and walking distance to 3rd street promenade. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Yelp
The fish and chips were mediocre. The chirashi was very good. We ordered soup and never received. We ordered drinks that came just as we finished the food. They seem understaffed and what staff was there was overwhelmed. We will not be back.

Yelp
Great friendly staff, everything was clean, food was delicious. Was looking for a filling meal and did in fact get a filling meal.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went in 30 minutes before close and were nervous that we'd get rushed service, but Noel was incredible and took his time explaining the menu for us. He sold us on a great Riesling and the food was incredible!! Amazing portion sizes and great tasting flavor. We are super happy with our visit and would love to come again.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic. The best poke I've ever had. Came here with a party of six. Everybody super, super satisfied. Huge portions. Totally delicious. Great ambience. Fantastic, knowledgeable server. Every member of my party wants to come back. Just great.

Yelp
Food was better than expected. Quite tasty, fresh, unique flavors combined with Mexican and a Japanese but they also have Korean BBQ and Thai iced tea. Better than your usual medium priced seafood restaurant!! The eggplant on the side was surprisingly yummy! Even my husband who hates eggplant every piece of it. Cathleen , our waitperson, was friendly and gave great service! Definitely coming back!
