New Pacific Palace

This place is located upstairs from a bank and never noticed it until spotting it from across the street one day. It's a typical big banquet hall-style set-up with the ladies walking around the floor with the carts. A lot of the great dim sum classics.

The restaurant itself is on the second floor. There are stairs and an elevator. Really high ceiling, somewhat cavernous. We went at an odd time, between lunch and dinner. Some of the lights were off and were turned on. Some of the waiters and workers were sitting down prepping food, i think? The food was amazing. Their menu is huge, lots to choose from. Lots of varieties.

We came here for dinner and had sticker shock but turned out the portion was large and probably meant to be shared family style. I liked their Peking style pork chop in particular. Just to echo other reviewer’s report about checking their final bill carefully. We were charged an extra item but it was quickly fixed.

**Beware—Horrible Experience for Our Wedding!** We had the most disappointing experience at Pacificana for our wedding. The venue lied to us, claiming that our guests consumed *24 cases* of 24-pack beers, which is clearly false. We provided our own alcohol of 15 cases of red wine, 5 cases of soju, and 4 different mixed drink bowls with multiple refills—there is no way 576 bottles of beer were also consumed. This felt like an attempt to make us pay for more than we actually used. On top of that, the venue was supposed to provide us with a cocktail hour and a 4-tier wedding cake. They delivered only a 3-tier cake and the cocktail hour ran out of food *immediately*. Guests had to wait 30+ minutes for more food, and when we asked to order additional food like mei fun to supplement what was already running out, the manager verbally assured us it would be comped because it was their mistake. We were shocked when they charged us $120 extra for the food at the end of the night, and they denied ever offering to comp it saying there needed to be written proof. Even worse, my mom brought 4 glass punch bowls for the alcohol, and the venue threw them away instead of returning them to us. During clean up, they also threw away our table signs and holders without any communication. The lack of regard for our property and the disorganization is inexcusable. To top it all off, a shareholder’s children from a party upstairs were roaming around during reception, and we later discovered that they had stolen our wedding Pikachu plushies (which were in boxes, wrapped in plastic, and clearly marked). The venue manager called the parents and was told that the kids “found” the plushies—yet these Pikachus were dressed in wedding clothes! They also took 300 Pokémon cards that we had provided for guests to sign as a memento. This was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. The poor management, lack of security, and total disregard for our special day left us heartbroken. Our wedding day was marred by these issues, and I cannot recommend this venue to anyone. Do not host any events here.

The atmosphere was phenomenal. They repurpose an old bank and kept the beautiful architecture. The dim sum was delicious. The cart ladies were fast and attentive. Always around when we were low on food and personally brought out fresh items to our table when they were out of it on the cart. Although, there were 3 points of dissatisfaction. 1 being that the how elegant the place looked, the silverware and plate settings did not match. They were plastic and paper plates, one and done kind. 2 their beef short ribs was overly peppered and the meat was very dry even though it was smother in oily sauce. And lastly 3, the bathroom was not well maintained. Though better than most dim sum places bathroom. With that, it was loud and lively when we first arrive from all the other tables, but soon once everyone left, it got eerily quiet and not as welcoming. With all that said, overall it was a great experience. Most all of the food was delicious and decent sizes for the price. The decor was elegantly beautiful. And the service was prompt and attentive.

If you go when they first open it's quiet and slow and the carts are parked one table away from wherever you sit. Generally the food is good, but the quality could be better. HOWEVER, their plain rice roll, which is pictured, was fantastic because it's made fresh.

The dim sum is not only reasonably priced, but a pleasant place to dine at. Really fancy a great Asian cruisine. Authentic! Nice staff as well :))

very spacious place that's used for dimsum at early hours and sometimes banquet hosting later on. i went a bit later to dimsum (2-3pm) they were really friendly and said that they can still serve us dimsum even though it's kinda late.

The place inside is huge yet there is still always a wait which means the food is pretty good! It's lit nicely and they had a ticketing system of numbers on paper in order. The red crusted shrimp balls were tasty and very pretty! It was strange that the server did not know what the food item was tho. The curry octopus also wasn't that good and too chewy. However, everything else was really good! I enjoyed the clams and the chicken feet the most. I love how there are carts that are pushed around so you can order whatever looks good on there instead of straight off a menu!

A couple blocks away from the N train station. But beware though, you'll have to walk through the streets with the fish markets and vegetable stands to get here and it can get crowded. The restaurant is on the second floor and there is plenty of seating. Didn't have to wait for a table on a Saturday which was good. However, when I was seated at a table the waiter immediately asked me what tea you want in mandarin. I told her that I needed to wait until the rest of party my party arrived but instead of waiting she kept asking and ended up bringing me a random pot of tea. Unfortunately, I did not like the tea of her choice and asked her to change it. The atmosphere is your typical dim sum place. We were right next to the kitchen and constantly smelled smoking in our area. Not sure if it's the cooks smoking? Food ordered: - Spare ribs - Beef tripe - Crispy Spring Roll - Fried dough rice noodle rolls - Beef Rice Noodle Roll - Shu Sui Mai/Steamed Pork Dumpling - Ha Gaw/Shrimp Dumpling - Pan Fried Pepper Stuffed w/Shrimp - Pan Fried Turnip Cake - Pea shoot dumpling The flavor of each dish was pretty bland. Not sure if it's because the restaurant is in a Fujianese neighborhood so the seasoning is more tailored to their taste? Majority of dishes was large and a couple medium. Most of the dishes weren't very warm which is due to not having a lot of those steel carts that keep the food warm. Total came out to be $53 without tips and I think that it is pretty average for dim sum.

Yikes! It's a gorgeous interior and wow no wait for dim sum for a large (14) people on a Sunday at 1:30pm. Relatively many seats open actually. Tables are large, easily accommodating 12. (14 was a squeeze.) That being said, blegh a lot of the dim sum dishes were cold, particularly from the pastry cart. The baked cha shao bao was dead cold and even a tiny bit stale! Definitely not fresh. Makes me miss Tim Ho wan. You must watch out to see if the dish is coming from a steaming hot cart or not because it makes a big difference. The hot items like the shao mai and har gaw etc were fine but I thought they taste better from my local Rainbow Bakery actually. Better yet, ask the lady in the back corner to make your food fresh, or just order a la carte items off the menu. They get mad props for easily accommodating large parties and serving food super quickly though. So cheap ended up being close to $250 total.

Love the food but bummed about the health score. I get sick easily from poor food preparation and it worries me. Maybe if I stick to only well cooked food.

Pretty much your typical dim sum place. They have a ton of space and super busy on the weekends still. The food are pretty good and they have a wide variety. Some of the better dishes are their shrimp stuffed egg plants and shrimp stuffed green peppers. Durians rolls are crispy with a slight sweetness which is a great way to end the meal. Pretty good dim sum place to hang out with family or friends.

My wife ordered some food over here. But most of them tasted disgusting. That is worst Cantonese restaurant in Brooklyn

Came here to grab some breakfast dim sum with friends to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. The paper menu is for checking off and located inside by the register (which confused people who lined up thinking they line up to order when you can just grab the order paper). It is a tiny narrow space; hence many people just crowded the door (edging to get closer). It is limited menu but has more to offer than other restaurants. I ordered a bunch of stuff for friends & family but ended up on taking picture of one item LOL because it looked different. It had shredded carrots sprinkled over the fried dough rice rolls. Food was okay quality.

Pacific Palace is an amazing Dim Sum Family Style restaurant. Incredibly fresh Dim Sum. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I love Pacificana! Me and my family have come here since I was a kid. The restaurant is located on top of chase bank. The entrance is on the side, where the avenue is. It is located on the second floor and the interior of Pacificana is very grand looking, as if you are in a palace. When I went on a Thursday afternoon, there was a good crowd but we were able to be seated immediately. Here, you get the true dim sum experience. Cart ladies bring around dimsum on carts and you pick what you want. They have a wide selection of dimsum including chicken feet and shrimp rice rolls. My favorite dish to get here are black bean clams. Most places don't have clams in the dim sum carts, but they have them here! In addition, you can flag down a waiter and order specialty dishes if needed. During our meal, the waiters whisked away empty plates frequently throughout. We always have great food and service when here.

Here on a Saturday afternoon. Very clean and friendly staff. I feel Comfortable in here as a ebony woman. They bring the dim sum carts around,you point at what you want and then they mark your card. At the end they total it all up and you pay. The food is hot and tasty. You sit at large round tables and you may get the opportunity to meet someone new. Good spot for groups. It was me and 3 of my family members. We were the only people of color and we were treated well. Florence the dim sum cart lady is a sweetheart and is very helpful.

We love their dim sum especially the scallion dumplings, pork buns (baked), har gow (shrimp in rice noodles), and shu mai. Get there early to avoid the crowds on a Sunday!

There was a wedding starting but they still were serving dinner. Service was nice and pleasant. The food was "catching the pig". Each dish had one or more deficiencies. The seafood fish maw soup did not have much taste or fish maw, the steak cube dish had blah steak taste. Every dish was kinda acceptable but not good. No mas.

I so love Pacificana! I'm so glad that I got to go here last night after not being here in over a year. By far one of the best Cantonese restaurants in Brooklyn. Besides that you get to dine in literally a palace, their food is great. The pics I took were not the best and don't serve justice to how good their food is. I love the shrimp dumplings!! They are also following covid precautions much better compared to other places. Temperatures are checked, all plate settings are disposable, and tables are very distant from each other. Can't wait to come back!

Another pre-pandemic special (AKA, I forgot to review them before covid)... clearly you're not (or you shouldn't be) eating in their ginormous, neon light-filled, dining room. Anywho... We're of the opinion that NYC doesn't do dim sum well. Really we haven't found good dim sum anywhere in the U.S., but NYC is especially bad. So with that as a backdrop, Pacificana is about par for the course... If you've had good dim sum it'll just make you wish you were back in whatever restaurant you had the god stuff in.

I've passed by Pacificana many times and had dinner once here for a gala, but I never tried their dim sum until last year. Surprisingly, there weren't many people waiting for a table when I came here with my group of six on a Sunday a little after 12:30 in August. And we didn't have to share a table either, as it often happens during dim sum hours! I was thrilled to see that they offered both the classic dishes and dim sum that differed from other places, such as the fried bun with condensed milk and deep fried tofu with shrimp. The ladies who were serving the dim sum were super nice, and one of them kept chatting up my table.

Ehh not the best dim sum place in the area. We came on a Saturday and it was half filled. This should have been a sign because most dim sum places are packed on the weekends. I've been here before years ago and it was very popular maybe the owners changed? We ordered 5 dim sum dishes and all were mediocre. The total was $21 which was okay but don't think we will come back again.

In general, good restaurant! All the items I ordered with my friend are mostly good options except the porridge.

My girlfriend suggested this place for brunch. Her last experience was great. However, this time around we both agreed that this location is no longer worth a visit. The food was not tasty and the serving size is extremely small. I would say its half the size of the portion compared to Chinatown and Flushing. The food was bland and I was very disappointed. Apparently the food tastes really good a few years ago, but things have changed. I would avoid. *there's no line to be seated, goes to show that its not that popular anymore

I was a little surprised with the reviews but decided to check this place out since a friend and I were in the area. We actually had a pretty good time, and the dim sum was really great. The one thing I gotta say is that we were seated right away on a Saturday around 1 pm, which for me is super surprising compared to my past experiences with dim sum restaurants. Loved the food, and my favorite was the durian skins. It was also a plus to see how clean the place was, and it wasn't loud at all, which allowed my friend and I to actually be able to enjoy our food and our time in there. If the food is the way how it was when we tasted it, I would have no problem coming here.

I would like to give this place no stars. This place is a ripoff. They tried to scam me. I ordered a WHOLE duck on DoorDash for $30 but only received HALF a roast duck. When I went back to ask them, the management was arguing saying the apps are charging them 30% so the price is only for HALF a duck. But on the apps, it showed the $30 is for a WHOLE duck and not HALF. SCAMMERS!! If the apps are charging so much, then don't put your restaurant on the apps. You don't scam customers to cover your own cost? RIDICULOUS. Then she tried to explain to me that when you eat in the restaurant, the WHOLE duck is almost $30. I'm like exactly, it's not HALF!!! They ended up giving me my other half that was rightfully mine and paid for! NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!!! SCAM ALERT! I'm going to complain on the DoorDash app as well. Never heard of this before.

So we made a reservation to have dinner here for 20 people on 7/14 at 6pm. Upon arrival heading up the stairs we could hear loud singing coming from the hall. We were not told they were having a wedding and a baby shower at the same time. Needless to say that they placed our tables right in between the wedding and the baby shower so the noise level was ridiculous. This restaurant has a large space on the 2nd floor. The problem is that is all marble and stone facade inside. Therefore sounds bounce off the wall, almost like an echo. Our 2 tables were moved to a corner of the restaurant away from everything else, clearly this took time and it was stressful since we were here to celebrate my nephews 13th bday. Waitstaff was all over the place very disorganized, none of the rooms are private, all they do is provide a divider so people dont peek in to your event. Now the food was a lot better then the service, although they are rated a C by Dept of health, we had a 10 course platter family style meal. The best items kn the table were the steamed sea bass with ginger and scallions, the garlic chicken, salt and pepper squid, stir fried seafood with vegetables. The sticky rice with crab had no taste, complete waste of money. The longevity noodles were ok, the T-bine steak was chewy, undercooked and not worth the money. The fried tofu with shrimp was pretty good. Overall, i would not host a party here nor would i travel all the way from bayside to have dinner here. The parking situation is tough, we just happen to get lucky going around the block.

The taste of the food is not very good. A lot of MSG and salt are easy to eat. The favorite ice skin durian is also different from before. It becomes very small.

We got here around 9:15am in a Sunday and there weren't very many people here so I was nervous... I've read a lot of mixed reviews over the last year about food being lukewarm and stuff. Titanium the place was energetic and loud and beautiful... The tea and the food is all so hot and we can't even eat it right away... We asked for Pu'er tea and got it immediately. The beef short ribs with pepper are incredible! We haven't had taro in our short ribs since the time we had dim sum in Cleveland. Everywhere else they just use yams...TARO FTW!!!! Our steamed pork buns look like one of those Easter egg dioramas...thin bun cave with lots of pork! Perfect ratio after so many dim sum places that make a dense thick bun with just a drop of pork inside. And the sweet egg wash on top was shiny and sweet and perfect Their shumai is large so if you are used to small bite-size pieces you will be cutting these in half. No complaints here! Some of them have a little oyster on top!

This place is definitely the nicer of the dim sum places, definitely banquet style place, huge room with a bunch of tables. When you enter the building, it's upstairs. If you don't speak Chinese, just use the universal language of using your fingers to tell them how many people in your party. It wasn't terribly busy when we sat, then I saw the carts making a beeline towards us. Yea, I want this, this, this, this and that. So we just started picking out what looked good and off we go. Pretty standard dim sum, not every item was super hot, but only warm-ish, nothing really blew me away or anything. Same carts came around and around each time with the same stuff, not much of a variety was offered nor was it ready yet as the response of "coming later" was to be told to us. We ate slowly in anticipation that more stuff would come out "later" but unfortunately "later" meant much later. Good amount of pastries on the carts was the highlight for one of us, but overall it was just ok. It was a little tough flagging down someone in a suit to get our bill, so I just went to the front counter and paid. Prices were pretty good so that was a plus, I think they prefer you pay in cash.

This place has been over taken by fj. Most of the waiters and hosts only speak that language or mandarin. No Cantonese. Was difficult to wait on line when all they do is let their friend and family members skip the line while others with no relationship with the owner or host had to wait a long time like 30mins to and hour. When we tried to order food or ask to be seated in a bigger table since we had six people, they seems to be rude and pretend to not understand us and didn't want to accommodate us since we don't speak their language. The dim sum was very typical and even below par with some of their dim sum flavors and quality. They also didn't have much selection as the other famous ones like east harbor or Park Asia dim sum place in 8 Ave. Overall, wouldn't go back based on the way were treated and below par service and food.

Occasionally they have cute and nice dim sums but if they can keep it warm, it would be better on the carts. This is the only on within a 5-10 block ratio so if the locals don't feel like walking to 65 street, they will come here hence the reason why it is always crowded on the weekends. The wait on the weekend can be around 2 hours. On the weekends, the carts are pretty diverse but on the weekdays, they tried to force you to "say yes" to the dishes on their the carts, which isn't many dishes. If you can, just order "dimsum-on-the-go" from the front counter and bring it home.

Good experience went here with my girl and her family for Father's Day. Loved everything plus we got the hook up of plenty of extra things that weren't being cooked that early in the morning. Had lobsters steak and other things. So good. My favorite was the onion and pepper steak.

Excellent Dim Sum joint! We love Dim Sum and eat it a few times every fall-winter. The food is great, Dim Sum fresh, flavorful and we had the Peking Duck which was crispy and delicious. We'll be back!!!

Point: be wise and arrive early. I've been to tons of dim sum places back in Canada, but had yet to try one in NYC. Pacificana brings out the dim sum in carts, so if a cart doesn't pass by your table, you won't get to eat. As you can imagine, if you are seated at a corner, or super far away from the kitchen, or the restaurant is packed... food carts may not come by as often (and in fact, it is a major problem that I've read on Yelp reviews). That said, we had no problems with food carts coming around - we arrived early, at 930am, when the restaurant wasn't busy and had a great table location. Tons of food carts came by and I really liked the selection! They even have the white cold chicken feet (don't know what it's called, don't judge me) that most dim sum places don't offer!! Food ranged from average to amazing. By 1045am, this restaurant was packed, loud, and the line to get in was ridiculous. Disturbing detail: when I used the bathroom, I saw a staff member wash her hands without soap....... all the ladies that push the carts do wear gloves, but still!

It was somehow empty and insanely loud at the same time. Food was meh - and expensive. Ordered the $9 hot and sour soup and they brought out a tiny cup. An order of $10 dumplings had 4 pieces. General Tso tasted like it was made in a candy factory - it said spicy on the menu. This was crazy sweet. . Sadly, the waitstaff was also very, very slow and confused. Three tables with customers. Dozens of waiters. Kept sending them back to get the stuff they kept forgetting

Mediocre dim sum and dinner. Service is mediocre. Everything is mediocre. The wait for dim sum is not bad. I used to come here with my friends every weekend when the food was a lot better. We mainly stopped coming because parking in this area is horrible.

one of my favorite restaurants - not only because of the food - but the management and wait staff. Janet the hostess/manager is amazing - special requests are attended to. They have small meeting rooms on 3rd floor which are great for private business meetings and family dinners alike. The food is consistently excellent, tasty and traditionally done - Cantonese style. Even more important there is a parking lot next door!!

I've been coming here since my youth. Lately though lunch dim sum rush has been madness with very few carts. Nevertheless, food is quality when it's on point but I can't say it's King of 8th Ave.

The chicken feet is over due.... taste weird, like over due 3 days or more. The other dim sum is okay for now!

I came here today early morning around 11. I had a party of three including myself and were seated pretty quickly. I really like that they had a table that seats 4 people, that way we had a bit more privacy compared to sharing a table with another party. Compared to other dim sum places, I felt that there were very little options. To get some dishes you would have to go to the back to ask for it, which was interesting. Also, we were told that common dim sum items were sold out, such as gnou churn and cha siu churn. The few dishes that we tried weren't that good. For example, the liu sa bao was more dough than actual filling. The food was also not that warm when we order it. It seems that the dishes aren't kept warm in the carts or in the back. Overall, very disappointing dim sum experience. Would not recommend coming here.

3.5 to be exact. Pacificana has an undeniable beautiful decor as compared to some of the other dim sum spots on 8th Avenue. I would say this spot has a more traditional take on dim sum which tends to be much less seasoned and does not offer much trendy dim sum dishes, catering more to the older crowd. There is a reason that this place gets extremely crowded with long lines of people on weekends. They are a solid performer in the dim sum competition in Brooklyn, Chinatown. While I admit that they are certainly not the best dim sum I ever had but I must say I do enjoy the dim sum here. The Fried Culler dish was indeed my absolute favorite in all of 8th Avenue. They are really almost the only spot on 8th Avenue that kept the pieces of dried shrimps and cilantro on it. See what I mean? Traditional. Other dim sum spots skimped on this. I love the effort, it makes it much tastier, and it is just simply the best! Handling of the wok is Pacificana's greatest strength. Everything made from the wok are really good! I would say their pan-fried noodles like the Beef Chow Fun or Pan-Fried Noodles with Chicken Gravey, and the Soup Rice Noodles with Preserved Vegetables and Duck Meat are superb compared to their competition, hands down. No cash? Credit Cards are accepted.

Bold and beautiful, Pacificana looks to be one of the more stellar Dim Sum places in Brooklyn Chinatown. But as we've all learned, judging a book by it's cover is hardly ever worth doing because looks aside, Pacificana is just average Dim Sum, no more and no less. The weekend crowds would tell another story. It would almost look as if people are crazy about this joint, but I think the novelty of dining in a spacious, multi-level restaurant sometimes beats the alternative of waiting for a smaller place even if the food is (only marginally) better. Waiting has never been a huge issue for me here. The place is easy to get into during the weekday and is less than 30-40 minutes during the weekend peak. Any wait longer than that and I'd recommend going somewhere else. With all things considering, the Dim Sum is okay. The dishes seem pricier than the nearby joints without so much of a bump in quality. There are many mediocre selections, but the few that I did find to be solid were the shrimp crepes (ha cheurng), fried cruellers wrapped in rice noodle (zha leung), and their thousand year old egg and pork congee (pei dan sau yuk juk). Another thing worth noting is this is one of the few Dim Sum joints that actually give out full bamboo baskets of soup dumplings (xiao long bao). One thing I have yet to try is their dinner service. I have heard excellent things about their evening dishes from frequent visitors and even a seal of approval from a few locals in the area. When I'm feening for a Cantonese dinner and not able to go to East Harbor (http://www.yelp.com/biz/east-harbor-seafood-palace-brooklyn), I'll definitely give Pacificana another shot.

One of the good and my fav Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. I've been to almost all of them and this one is pretty nice. Food: various dim sum available. Plus in lunch hours, you would see waiters/waitresses walking around with a specialty (like stuffed pepper, eggplant, jellyfish appetizer, stir fried vegetable, stir fried favored spiral sea shell, etc.), which i think it's pretty cool and no other Chinese restaurants do that often. typical dim sum are served. I was gonna totally recommend their "zha leung" (rice noodle wrapped with fried dough) and "cheung fen" (rice noodle) because their "cheung fen" is transparent, and I thought that's the result of freshness, just came out from the steamer (usually it's opaque white). But my auntie told me maybe its because they used a powder called "pang fen" (boron powder?) , which is actually not good to ur body. The taste of "cheung fen" after adding this type of powder can make it translucent and more chewy. Other dim sum-wise, they're pretty okay, dessert are pretty "innovated." Egg tarts arent' too good, crust isn't flaky. Others are pretty average, nothing really stunning. Price: How can you complain when it's in Brooklyn? Location: It's always busy, crowded, fast service tho, okay place.

I do not want to give out bad reviews, but this restaurant does not seem like it wants to do itself any favors because I ordered two pork pastry and two shrimp pepper and managed to get 1 pork pastry, 1 pork bun, 1 shrimp pepper, and one unknown dumpling. I do not know how badly a restaurant can screw this up so badly considering it knew what I wanted... the reviews for ordering from this place is right even if I did not want to trust it. Stay away

Delicious!!! We went there on a Saturday and surprinsignly it was quite empty ( but it was snowing so this is probably the reason). The food was very good and a for a very affordable price!

Omg solidly delicious dimsum! I've only been here once and it was slightly past noon. The exterior of the building looks nothing like the actual dining room which was surprising. It took a while for the carts to notice our wee table in the corner of the room but eventually the host called them over so that's that. Anyway best of all the price is like half of what you'd have to pay in manhattans chinatown if you're willing to make the trip into brooklyn.

This was my go-to spot for dimsum and gatherings but a lot has changed over the years. Service went down, chefs switched, owners changed? It's just okay now. Best spot on 8th Avenue not best in Brooklyn.

My go-to dim sum place in Sunset Park. Sometimes the dishes can be hit or miss depending on who is making the food, but it's definitely solid and no compliants on service or quality. Have been here for both dim sum and dinner, no qualms about going back to either. That said, I wouldn't go all the way to Sunset Park just to eat here, either. Go for the groceries, stay for the food. :)

This place can be a hit or miss. Dim sum is mediocre, it doesn't have the wow factor. The wait on the weekend is insane. The service on a weekday is not great. Recent renovation improved the decor, it's very grand and spacious with the high ceilings.

Don't let the decoration fool you. Worst dim sum ever. Foods came out cold, quality just not good at all.

Pacificana has been the go to spot for the family since I can remember. It was the place for dim sum, for family dinners, for weddings and all. The place just hits a spot in my heart from the two remodels that they have done as I've aged. The most recent is turning the traditional Chinese red theme to being an all white luxury restaurant, removing the fish tanks which I think is a big plus. Since the recent remodel, the restaurant has been more creative with their dishes, bringing cute eats and new flavors. I am a big fan of having dim sum here with the family or a small dinner where our family blocks out a section of the restaurant because we just aren't that small. Pacificana offers private rooms for dinner parties, sections of the restaurant or even a full booking for weddings. It is definitely one of the local favorites!

I'm very disappointed at this place because of this one customer service that I got. I order a cup of water and I got a cup that seem reuseable from a chicken place restaurant in a chinese restaurant. That one staff who didn't gave me a glass of water because it seemed to me that he was just lazy and grabbed anything just so that he can finish his job quicker. I quickly lost my appetite because of this one customer services because it gave me doubt about this restaurant quality. In their counter you can see many of the same cup in the picture and I'm just very disappointed because they do have glass cup but they chose not to serve me one. Overall, the food quality is not that great in my taste, with no flavor and presentation.

Ordered a bunch of stuff off the menu. Thought it was well prepared and fresh. The sesame chicken is definitely one of the better ones i had along with the noodles. If you want an authentic taste of chinese food try this place.
