Chachi's Pizza - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Chachi’s rectangular Detroit-style pies have a brittle layer of cheesy caramelized edges, and the crust made with Shepherd’s Grain flour (a.k.a. Washington wheat royalty) is incredibly tender, spongy, and almost sweet—one of the most flavorful we’ve ever tasted. There’s no sonic boom when biting down on one of these slices, and that’s exactly what we love about it. Especially in “The Abuela” pie, topped with ricotta, spicy pepperoni, Calabrian chili paste, fresh herbs, toasty sesame seeds, and a drizzle of honey. Chachi’s Pizza pops up on Sundays in Ravenna with ordering done via Instagram DM earlier in the week, often paired with a dessert collaboration. There are some White Center pickups in the works, so stay tuned to their Instagram if you live in South Seattle. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Yummy! Crispy & light dough. The chicken primo is pretty good, wish the chicken & veggies were a little more roasted. Super hot and fresh out of the oven. Vegan cheese available to substitute & you can make your own pizza! $5 slices, about $23 for an 11" personal pie which is a little pricey but seems to be the standard for pizzas these days. Plenty of indoor seating, very nice & accommodating service. Cute Italian versions of movie posters! I love the Isle of Dogs one in the bathroom!

This place has top-tier pizza with a great menu and you can customize if that's what you want. The price is not bad for great servings. The 17 inch pizza is very big and yummy. Glad I read the recommended size per person because I didn't realize how big the pizzas were. Highly recommend this place

If you got delivery instead of dining in, I really recommend dining in. I don't think the science behind delivery has advanced enough to do these pizzas justice. It's so much better in person. There's a level of crispiness of the crust that they achieve here. The dining experience is pretty straight forward, plenty of room, decent parking, and comfortable. The seasonal slices are really fun so be on the lookout for that.

Unfortunately, this location doesn’t use the standard pizza ovens anymore. They use more energy efficient “conveyor belt” type ovens and the pizza is cooked very differently. (Note: with Seattle hourly pay rates being what they are, they can significantly shrink their staffing levels with the conveyor belt ovens.) The pizza is not at all what we had come to love as “Pagliacci Pizza” but something else entirely. We stopped going to this location for pizza, which is too bad because it used to be our favorite, going there sometimes 2+ times per week. Mar 2025 Update: One of our kids recently ordered a pizza from this location. They were disappointed to discover that the marinara sauce recipe had changed. It is much sweeter and not as good. We later confirmed that that is the case. Another knock against the “Lake Sh!tty“ location… I do want to give them credit where credit is due. We think their salads are still very good and will happily order them from this location. If you are craving Pagliacci’s pizza, we highly recommend the Sand Point location. For now, they still use the old style pizza ovens, which makes an excellent crust. And the staff there is great. I don’t know though if they are still using the old marina sauce recipe, but I assume that all the locations switched to the newer, sweeter sauce. :-(

Great crispy chew crust and quality of toppings. Consistency can vary a bit, but overall still tasty. Higher on the price side, but not bad once in awhile. The team is wonderful, put in a solid effort!

Delicious pizza! The crust was golden brown and perfect. We got the 12 man pizza with feta. Yum! Will be back for sure. One of the best pizzas in Seattle.
