Pajarito Is Opening a Second Location in Edina This Year | Eater Twin Cities

"A West 7th taco-and-tequila restaurant that opened in the winter of 2016, it has built a stellar reputation for its tacos and tortas under chef-owners Tyge Nelson and Stephan Hesse; now they're opening a second location in Edina at 50th and France. The dining room at the Edina site needs only a light refreshing, and the kitchen was extensively remodeled by previous tenants, so the menu will be much the same as in St. Paul and will continue to make great use of wood-fire. This was Nelson and Hesse's first time as owners running their own kitchen, and the restaurant has become part of the chef-driven dining trend along West 7th and an essential spot on the Twin Cities scene." - Joy Summers

Always one of my favorite places to have relatively upscale Mexican food, and on Valentine's Day, they even had a few additional items to order, so my partner and I tried 2 out of the 3 dishes offered that day and both were incredible. I tried a few different types of tacos from what I would usually order and they tasted very good. Previously I have tried the birria tacos, and I loved them. I believe that I talked about it when I wrote my review for the Saint Paul location. The alambre tacos had a good balance of crispiness and softness in terms of texture due to the cheese (crispy), and had beef and bacon included, which essentially made them a meat lover's heaven. The shrimp tacos were just as good as how I remembered it, that the honey-chipotle aioli worked magically well with crispy fried shrimp. I also tried the Valentine's Day item called Papa A La Huancaína Empanadas, and the red chimichurri sauce on the top gave the empanadas additional savory flavor that went very well with the mixture inside. I also ordered the octopus this time, which honestly was a catch for $20 because lime aioli, white beans, and peanut salsa macha are three ingredients I wouldn't have thought of to be added with the octopus, but worked so well to provide four distinct kinds of flavors and textures. The entire culinary experience with this dish was just amazing. I didn't have as much of an impression on the shrimp ceviche, but the fact that it existed at all, I appreciated it, because it provided a contrast from the other dishes in terms of taste, warmth, and overall vibe. The chimichanga dulce was essentially a strawberry cheesecake in rolled format which was innovative and tasty. Turning a crepe looking item into a filling sweet dessert was something I fully supported. The key lime cheesecake was great in a conventional manner, with the brown butter graham cracker adding both extra flavor and texture on the top rather than the bottom of the cheesecake. For $9 each, they were easily worth trying and enjoying. I thoroughly enjoy the fact that this establishment continues to thrive within Edina (and Saint Paul) and I think it does a very good job providing high quality food for a relatively reasonable price. Coming here on Valentine's Day was a blessing because this spot wasn't even fully booked when I looked up places to reserve, and yet it was an amazing time and experience for my partner and me.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Pajarito in Edina. We went on a Sunday evening and had a great experience. The flight of salsa was excellent. The salsas do not carry as much spicy heat as expected, but did have good flavor. The chips were excellent. The Caesar salad was very good. The quest fundido was thick and perfectly melty with a flavorful chorizo. The flour tortillas were good, but not great. The carne asada was very well prepared with an exceptional sauce base and grilled vegetables. Lastly, the Burris taco was good, but a little too much cheese and thus the texture suffered. A very good dinner and very reasonably priced.

Google
The place was good, and fun place. We went this christmas season. To be honest it felt a bit over hyped and over priced. The jingle bar was bit messy as well. Food taste was Ok and drinks options was not a lot. The parking is an issue. May be due to christmas time, will try during normal time again. Good luck.

Google
Pajarito was recommended to try and we finally tired it during restaurant week. We dined for lunch and really enjoyed our food. The guac was really fresh and flavorful. The queso fundido was delicious and served with flour tortillas. I tried the crab ceviche which was served cold, unexpected but good! Our tacos were generous portions and filling. Pork carnitas were delicious and flavorful with dipping sauce. The shrimp was also very yummy. Glad we finally gave this restaurant a try. Would return!

Google
The burrito and gazpacho was delicious! The burrito was surprising good and didn’t have beans or rice in it. The atmosphere is really comfortable, the wall art is really cute, and the bathroom was nice too. I totally recommend checking this restaurant out!

Google
This is an amazing place to get drinks and dessert before seeing a movie across at the Edina Theater! Full bar and good food on top of the awesome friendly service! (Props to Rosa, our awesome server!). It’s a great place for a casual get together or if flying solo, just get a seat at the bar. Worth a try if you’re in the 50th and France area!

Google
We ordered 4 dishes and they were all spicy (including the salad and the beans). The choripan was good but completely different from what the menu described (instead of chimichurri and aioli it had pico). The yucca was great. I think the food would be great if it was better described in the menu and clear regarding the level of spiciness. Other flavors were muted.

Google
Great take on Mexican cuisine, especially for a fancier night out. Went here for MPLS restaurant week, and they did not disappoint. We went with chips to start. They have such a variety of salsas, there's one for everybody. Next were shrimp tacos which were surprisingly filling, and finally the beef ribs which were some of the best ribs I'd had. The meat was tender and juicy, and the seasoning and char was a great combination. Good flavors, good spot!

Yelp
We went to a nearby art exhibit and decided to try Pajarito. My friend had heard of the restaurant, while I had not. We both love Mexican/Latin foods, so we were eager to give it a go. We ordered the guacamole and chips to start. While the jalapenos being whole makes for a visually pleasing image, having three or four slices is not enough to be of real value. We prefer guacamole to be hot, like most everything else. It could have also used a touch of salt. We shared the Chicken Tinga and Quesabirria tacos (ate one each). The Chicken Tinga looked like there wasn't much there, but it was actually a pretty hefty taco. The only problem with it was that it was super wet and became messy because of it. It's a taco that you should not put down and just eat the whole thing as quickly as possible. Of course, we both decided to wear white shirts. Not a good thing with the meal that we chose. Fortunately, hand sanitizer helps to get stains out until you can go home and spray the garment with stain remover. The Quesabirria taco was delicious. The consomme was nicely balanced and well seasoned. Since we were already feeling some trepidation from the first taco, we poured the consomme onto the taco, instead of dunking it. This was an easier way to eat the taco. If you cut a few slits into the taco, the consomme will get inside and add to the delicious experience. The cheese on the tortilla had the perfect melty char that enhanced the flavor of the meat. It's a pretty good taco, overall. Service was good and friendly, and we feel like we'll come back (without white shirts) for more. Also, they have a good variety of hot sauces, including a habanero version. We felt quite pleased that there was no Tabasco (it's not a real hot sauce, period) in sight.

Yelp
Pajarito is a great, upscale choice for a date night, friend hangout, etc. Their food and drinks match the upscale vibes of the restaurant and deliver a great experience. FOOD: I've had their caesar salad with chicken (not a traditional choice for a Mexican food establishment, I know). The salad is quite good with its toppings, etc (although I never like the "wedge style" serving of salads). The chicken is a little basic but no real complaint on that as I am ordering something pretty non-standard. Their chips and beans are above average. Chips are perfectly thick yet crisp and lightly salted. Beans are flavorful. DRINKS: their margaritas are quite good (especially if you're a fan of a very salty rim and style). I appreciate that they can make a good "skinny marg"-- I know, I'm basic. AMBIANCE: upscale to the perfect extent for either a romantic date night or just a good dining out experience. SERVICE: always friendly and professional. I do recommend Pajarito and have been 3-5 times over the past two or so years.

Yelp
I'm not big on upscale Mexican spots because I like to stick to the authentic, but we came here and it was decent. The crab ceviche was good, comes in a hard taco presentation. The wood fire octopus was good enough, not enough octopus to sauce and toppings ratio. The star of the show was sweet potato small plate, absolutely delicious I wish I didn't have to share it! Our server was nice and attentive.

Yelp
I came here on a last minute Monday visit when I was randomly in the neighborhood and had a craving for Tacos. I'm super happy that I found this place now. We stuck to the happy hour menu and got the quesadillas, chicken wings, and nachos. We also got the habanero margaritas. The best item was the nachos which had a perfect ratio of tasting toppings and chips. The quesadillas were quite tasty as well. Highly recommend both. The wings had good flavor but the actual wings themselves were a bit lacking in meat so could have been better. The margaritas were by far the spiciest I have ever had! Which my wife and I both liked. But half way through we took out the pice of habanero and that tamed things down quite a bit. But if you like spice go for them! We had great service for a Monday afternoon. And we enjoyed the patio out front right on 50th. They also have a back patio that looks perfect for a summer evening.

Yelp
Pajarito never disappoints. Has been a bit since I was here last and it was during the winter. We enjoyed the patio on a beautiful summer night. The Habanero Cilantro margarita was made to my heat preference, delicious! We shared the guacamole and chips and a trio of sauces to kick off our meal. I love a hearty salty chip! Then we shared the shrimp and quesabirria tacos which was a good mix. Two of the quesabirria tacos would have been too rich for one person. Both were made perfectly and came out piping hot! The service is friendly and helpful, as we asked our questions to zero in on our order. We were asked multiple times how we were doing and if everything was all right with our food. Will be back more quickly next time! Highly recommend if you are in the 50th/France Ave area.

Yelp
Happy hour is where it is for Pajarito. They have, hands down, the best nachos. It's the only place that doesn't give you a pile of fry chips with stuff on top. They are thoughtfully spread out so each chip has toppings. Those are nachos! Beware though they are ONLY available during happy hour. That's why is a 4 instead of a five
google avatar

Yelp
For appetizers, we ordered the chips and three salsas (Ancho-Guajillo, Avocado-Serrano, Arbol-Cashew) along with the guacamole which was a must! The thick cut, crunch of the chips paired well with each of the salsas along with the guac. We also ordered the shrimp tacos and quesabirria which comes with two tacos per order. Both sets of tacos were absolutely delicious! The shrimp tacos were nice and light, while the quesabirria was rich in flavor. We were able to get seated right away, and the food came out in a timely manner. There are also options for both indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Visited 5/7/24. Just barely missed the happy hour by a few minutes aka the amazing nacho deal but the quesadilla was still great too. Loved the salsa/sauce that it came with. Only bummer is that nachos are only on the happy hour so if you miss them no chance of re-ordering these. Otherwise, loved the different margarita and drink options. Service was solid and we enjoyed the patio seating options.

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday afternoon for late lunch. The guacamole was the star of the show. Tasty margaritas. We tried several different tacos and it was nice to mix and match. Parking is available in several different lots within a short walk. Definitely leave time for strolling and window shopping around this fun city spot!

Yelp
We shared alot of different things. Guacamole which was really good they serve them with dense chips that really grab the guacamole. We ordered the 6 salsas with chips mild to really spicy. We had birrera tacos so good. Steak quesadillas so good! Gazpacho yummy. Pineapple and skinny margaritas were delish.

Yelp
We arrived early before our reservation and sat at the bar for a drink. I had French 75. Bartender was really friendly. I would give it 4.5 stars because the service was a little slow. We had a big party but the restaurant wasn't busy. Food was delicious. I had the Burria taco and the au jus dipping was what gave this meal a 5 star. Nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking ramp nearby. We will go back if we are in the area.

Yelp
We had a great dinner at Pajarito last night. My only complaint is that the soft taco shells fall apart. A wet paper towel would hold together better. I ate my tacos with a fork - still delicious. The chips and guac were excellent as were the margaritas. It was a little loud inside - we prefer their patios but rain led us inside. The staff was attentive and helpful.

Yelp
Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Ambience - 4/5 Value - 4/5 We got a variety of tacos and appetizers, all were fantastic. The elote style corn with flamin hot Cheetos was fantastic. Our waitress was super friendly and came to check on use multiple times. You can sit indoor or outdoor, outdoor is a little less private with everyone walking by.

Yelp
Met a friend here for a late birthday dinner. Cute little spot in Edina. Nice size bar area. Unique wall art. My friend and I got caught up talking and didn't even look at the menu prior to our waitress coming to our table. Our waitress was nice and patient. I ordered the Pajarito Margarita and birria tacos. For an appetizer we shared the guacamole and chips. Everything was very good. Food came out hot and flavorful. I wanted to try the key like cheesecake, but was too full, so I'll to try it next time.
google avatar

Jingle M.

Yelp
Chips and salsa always a good start! Fast service and ambiance at the bar. Loved the appetizers (guacamole) and ordered a Smoked Salmon Tostada to share. Very good salmon taste with just a hint of cream cheese. I'll be back for the margaritas any day!

Yelp
Excellent spot for a nice, special occasion dinner out where you're looking to spend a bit more than you might otherwise. It's a casual atmosphere with families sitting next to couples dressed to the nines. The dining room is a bit cramped so it can get loud. Service was attentive and pretty quick; had enough water and they bring dishes as they're ready vs all at once. No dogs allowed but they've got a curbside seating area and a small alleyway patio. The dishes were all super flavorful and texturally interesting. The hearts of palm salad was fantastic and refreshing on a hot day. The palm was tender enough to cut with the fork. The vinaigrette was bright, citrusy, and just salty enough to make the veggies pop. Grilled octopus is amazing. Love the chewy texture without it being rubbery. The beans were silky smooth and crazy rich. The salsa macha adds a nice kick of heat to all the heavy flavors and textures. . Mushrooms were my least favorite dish. Very vinegary and the flavors didn't really blend. The mounds of Cotija aren't really fatty enough to cut through the woody, tangy mushrooms and chili oil. Overall it's excellent for special occasions or a night of treating yourself but a bit tough for my blood.
google avatar

Kristina K.

Yelp
I ordered a tuna tostada which I would say is small in size like great for an appetizer or if you are looking for something on the lighter side. I really enjoyed the presentation, but the tuna was very cold like frosty. It seemed like it was almost frozen. I did not mention anything to my server and I'm sure if I did they would have made it right. I have visited on another occasion and tried the birria tacos and I would highly suggest. Also, they don't put ice in your water glass and no ice in the carafe, which I thought was strange, but I prefer room temp water anyway.

Yelp
P A J A R I T O Visited multiple times, mainly for drinks. Fun atmosphere and good food. Love the area to walk around and shop, or continue dining / enjoying your company at other spots, especially when the weather is nice and warm outside so you can shop and walk around before and after enjoying some cocktails and a meal. The staff and customer service has been great every time. We have visited during a Sunday brunch and weekend evening at the bar. Jon is a great bar tender and did a great job engaging with all the customers. He offered some great recommendations and took time to share a little about the Mezcal selection. Each time the food has been great. Chips and salsa flights are perfect to share, and I enjoyed trying different varieties of salsa, and different levels of The chicken tacos were also fantastic, and I wish I would have ordered my own Since this is a contemporary Mexican restaurant, tequila and mezcal are naturally the focus. However, there is a small whiskey selection with some basic pours. The margaritas were delish, and I truly enjoyed the twist on a classic old fashioned- the Nuevo Old Fashioned. Definitely worth trying to start out your experience. Overall, I will definitely keep coming back. The items I have enjoyed I will reorder, and the rest I would love to try in the future. Cheers Check out my IG: whiskey_with for more news, insight, pairings and other fun related content. If this was helpful, please , and follow for more.

Yelp
Date night with my beautiful wife. We had this place on our list for sometime and tried a little bit of everything. Great patio as well as inside dining and they have a community room for groups. We tried the tacos, the torta and appetizers. Salsas are by flights and the drinks are really good! Great place, fun vibe, make sure to park in the garage behind the restaurant.

Yelp
Came for happy hour which goes from 3-6 weekdays! I love nachos and was very happy with these!! It'd be even better with a little Guac on it but overall enjoyable. Rail drinks are $6 and I couldn't decide what to get went back and forth. I saw something online called a whiskey smash so I asked for something like that. It wasn't my fav so I wouldn't ask for it again and got an up charge but nice that they tried to accommodate me. The choco flan is wonderful!!! Also tried a chicken tinga tostada!!! The place was quiet with nice dim lighting. It's a Nice stop after work!

Yelp
We needed a fun happy hour patio and Pajarito absolutely delivered! I had been to their St. Paul location many times before, so I was excited to check out this place a bit closer to home! Parking at 50th and France is a nightmare, so give yourself some extra time and just commit to a parking garage! It might be a little walk, but you'll be much less stressed ;) Service was great at Pajarito...attentive but not overbearing at all! We simply shared the chips and salsa, which comes with a choice of 6 possible salsas! The REAL star though is the Yuca Fries appetizer. That's the must have if you ask me! Wash it down with the famous Pajarito Spicy Marg and you have the formula for a perfect happy hour afternoon! With a huge indoor dining space, a great happy hour menu, and a summer patio...I think Pajarito is an awesome addition to the offerings at 50th and France.

Yelp
After strolling around at the Edina Art fair, a friend and I settled on dinner at Pajarito. I have to admit the portions were very generous and after having ice cream I had to take home half of our food. We started out with their cheesy fundido queso. The cauliflower had nice garnish on it and large enough for a second serving. My shrimp tacos were yummy. The be honest neither my friend and I cared for the chips that came with the guacamole. The queso fondido and pita was by far was my favorite. The gooey, hot, cheesy goodness was everything.
google avatar

Yelp
One of our favorite date night spots. A couple could likely split chips and guac, two tacos (one entree for two people), and a side -- and get plenty of food to eat. - I like the decor a lot here. My wife says the St. Paul location has a cozier feel, but we both think the Edina location is nonetheless a good spot. - Pork carnitas tacos are a staple for us. A big portion of meat. - Chips and guac are a must here. - A friend of mine recently raved about their Shrump Tacos. - Limeade is a great non-alcoholic drink option here.

Yelp
The Birria Tacos are a must try! We can't go to Pajarito and not order the tacos Highly recommend the salsas as well

Mary A.

Yelp
Great Happy Hour on a Sunday. Margaritas were very good! Food was good, but incredibly salty. Our Server Luke was fantastic! He examined everything on the menu, made recommendations and even agreed that our Nachos were inedibly salty. He made the experience top notch, otherwise we would have been very disappointed in the food. Octopus was good, but please serve it with a crusty Mexican roll or some grilled tortillas. Kitchen needs some work, bartender and service excellent!
google avatar

Steph T.

Yelp
I had dinner here tonight and got food poisoning and ended up puking after I left. The service was good. I enjoyed the outdoor patio. But that was the only good part. Another complaint was we were sitting at a table and the server came to clean the table next to us and sprayed a ton of chemical cleaner and the wind caused it to mist into our food. Overall the food was horrible. The $8 happy hour chicken wings were disgustingly bland with no seasoning and no marinade. The chicken was slightly pink in some parts. I ordered ribs and my friend got the octopus. My ribs were okay but had way too much oil and no salt. My friend's octopus tentacles tasted fishy but tender. The white bean casserole it came with was the best tasting thing out of the things we ordered. Definitely never returning.

Yelp
As far as Mexican cuisine goes, there's a huge disparity so trying a new place is always a roll of the dice but Pajarito was excellent. We tried most of the menu and every dish was better than the last. The chips guac and salsas were crisp and delicious. We then tried the shrimp tacos, the chicken tinga tacos, the carnitas tacos, and best of all, the Birria tacos. All of them were outrageously good. We had to circle back and order a second order of Birria because they were next level amazing. To wash them down we had Pajarito top shelf margaritas which were terrific. I had mine spiced with their habanero tincture for an extra kick which was a veteran decision. It was the perfect compliment to the meal thus far. We then shared the scallop ceviche, the heart of palm salad, the black beans, mushrooms, and perhaps the crescendo of an already amazing meal, the grilled octopus. It was cooked perfectly with a ton of flavor. The texture of octopus can be rubbery and unpleasant but this dish was tender and delicious. My only regret is I didn't have room for desert.. recommend, 10 out of 10.

Yelp
Great vibes all around! The decor is fun and makes for a great date spot or place to go with friends. I went for a friend's birthday and was not disappointed! The Chino Latino drink is superb! I like the balance of smokey yet subtle sweetness and tanginess. The Tuna Tostada was beautiful and tasty! Great service. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't tried it yet!
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
The vibe and the service here are so good. Server was extra attentive! It's a new favorite for happy hour. I love the spicy marg and nachos with beef! Ass a little spice with some jalapeños! Though not on the happy hour menu, the Brussels sprouts are a great afternoon snack. Extra crispy and flavorful! Giving it a 4 because the idea of walking all the way back to my car in the parking garage after happy hour is just no. Someone please give me a piggy back ride!

Yelp
Great spot for modern Mexican! Grabbed dinner here last week and had a great experience. Our group had a variety of dishes and all enjoyed. We split chips and guacamole too and the chips were raved about. Good service- free parking in the garage across the street.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. Not your typical boring tacos with rice and beans. Everything has a special twist that makes it new and exciting. Their Pajarito margarita is one of the best I have had anywhere. Don't miss out on the salsa flight. The guacamole was fresh and the chips crispy and house-made. This would be a great place to go with friends for appetizers and drinks after a day of shopping this fun shopping area. The tacos Birria were outstanding, the short rib was so big, yummy and tender ( I think it was from a dinosaur. ; ) We had nice, prompt service and a great time!

Yelp
I've been here 3 times for drinks, chips & salsa, and enjoyed my experiences! The margaritas are pretty good, presentation is great, and I do love the SUPER SPICY salsa variations they offer. The salsa flight is a fun thing to try and conversation piece. The atmosphere is hit or miss, as half of the restaurant feels like you're sitting in the kitchen. I prefer the front area of the restaurant by the windows. Service is also hit or miss, hosts aren't super attentive, take a while to come to the front to greet you, and often seat even reservations at poor tables, even when not busy. Once I had a fun server, but overall not super impressed with the service here.
google avatar

Kaylie B.

Yelp
I really liked this restaurant! Driving into the area, there were so many restaurants and shops all in one spot which made me nervous about parking. But they had so many parking ramps that it was easy to find a spot! The restaurant itself was super cute and dim lit. We ordered a few appetizers and some margaritas off the happy hour menu and I would definitely recommend! The servers were also very friendly and had speedy service. I would go back for sure!

Emilee J.

Yelp
a consistent go-to for us! love the spicy marg and the birria tacos. LOVE the shrimp ones too but beware of the hidden spice - it's a LOT! delicious but at times painful to eat. love the atmosphere, location and service too!

John M.

Yelp
The parking was great, but the surrounding streets are small and the traffic was heavy around dinner time. The staff was friendly and efficient. The refried beans were smothered in Queso. I couldn't even taste the beans. I had 2 chicken tacos. They were soggy and also covered in Queso. They fell apart in my hand. I've had much better take-out tacos elsewhere. I ended up leaving hungry. I think this is more of a bar type place where you can also order food. But, as I recall there were 3 dinners to order - chicken, beef or pork. They put their 3% credit card fee on the bill. The ambiance was a little stark.

Yelp
Super yummy food and amazing ambiance! I will say the habanero cilantro margarita was very strong in both habanero flavor and alcohol content. If you don't do well with spice I wouldn't get.

Yelp
I went in at 630 tonight. Great drinks. Bartender was horrible. Very cold demeanor. We saw multiple ppl order after us and got their food before us. Chip and dips were great. I was really looking forward to trying the tacos. I think the main issue was the bartender. He was terrible. We sat at the end of the bar by the front door, he ignored us a few times. He ruined our very first date night.

Yelp
Pajarito is serving out some pretty nice Mexican cuisine. For an app we had the Queso Fundido, which came with tortillas, I highly recommend. I also tried the Albondigas, not the best I've had but still pretty nice, it could have used some more spice.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my friends birthday! The food, drinks and ambiance were wonderful. Our server, Estrella, was AWESOME! We will definitely be back, maybe for a tacos and tunes Thursday!

Yelp
My wife and I did our weekly trip to a new trip to a Twin Cities' restaurant and first did a 3 mile walk around nearby Lake Harriet, a wonderful flat walk around a lake that gives you vistas of downtown Minneapolis. We decided to sit at the bar since the outdoor seating was full. I ordered a Pryes IPA to start off and I got the 3 salsas to start, A must do! The IPA was solid and I got the Avocado-Serrano, Chipotle/ Chile de Arbol-Smoked Cashew and the Habanero. The Avocado was my favorite and the next two have a KICK! But I loved them. The chips were homemade I think and they were super delicious a crispy. You have to try the trio! I ordered the torta for my meal. Although I was pretty satiated with just the chips and salsa. The torta had Shaved Beef/ Jalapeno Cheese/ Rajas/ Salsa Roja. They dip the two cut ends into the salsa roja, which is more like a marinara in my mind, but my wife loved it. I loved it too, but after the spicy salsas, it was pretty mild. It is more like a Mexican French dip with the salsa roja, but it WORKS! It was so good! The bartender/server was super nice and she checked on us the right amount of times. It was about $45 after 2 beers, the sandwich and salsas and tip. Not bad for 50th and France in Edina. The atmosphere was great and super laid back. Big time recommend! Especially for lunch.

Yelp
The food was decent but my chips were basically stale. My burrito had a lot of flavor but didn't have cheese or any rice like it was suppose to it was just loaded with meet. The salsa was mediocre as well. It was also very load and overstimulating could barely hear my table. But it was a pretty atmosphere and the decor was cute.

Yelp
Went here with some friends and it was mediocre at best. The chips I ate literally felt like military hard tac. They were extremely thick and almost stale? it felt like my mouth was being cut open when I tried to bite down on one. The service was pretty decent though, it didn't take long for our food to come out, however there was a server (I think? Maybe a busser?) who dropped a huge stack of dishes right next to my table and they shattered everywhere. The main dish was overall pretty good with lots of flavor but my waiter had told me it came with cheese and when I received the meal there was no cheese in it whatsoever.

Yelp
Had the best time with friends here on Valentine's Day. Food was great, and service was spectacular! Rosa was fun and funny & treated us really well. 10/10 would definitely go back!

Yelp
If you're looking for a more bougie Mexican food dining experience, you can't go wrong with Pajarito - bold flavors, delicious drinks, and reasonable prices. A friend and I stopped in for lunch after a walk, and first off - the space is BEAUTIFUL. The entrance is nestled in an outdoor mall-esque complex right on 50th and France, with free parking in the nearby ramps for convenience. But we're here for the food, right? So let's get to it. We ordered some yucca fries to split, and let me say - they did not skimp on the manchego cheese. Get these. Don't ask. Just get them. You can thank me later. Onto the entrees - ordered the pork carnitas and shrimp tacos, and these definitely aren't your traditional street tacos. I would have appreciated a double tortilla, as the single blue corn was struggling a little bit to maintain its integrity beneath all the fillings. Both were tasty, although the shrimp tacos had that delicious sourness from the lime aioli that put that was the winner in my books. For drinks, I ordered a paloma and my friend ordered the pineapple express. The paloma was pretty good, but nothing to write home about in terms of palomas, but the pineapple express is definitely the drink for those who like their alcohol, but don't want to taste it. Overall, great dining experience and convenient location!

Yelp
We love how this place and how they present food. Made a reservation and were promptly seated. Had Jasmin as our server. She was great. Walked thru their QR code menu. I had a shaken margarita and the rest of the table had water. They serve their water in their used tequila bottles. Nice touch. So we could refill our water as needed. We ordered all at once as the food comes out as it's finished (bit different then other restaurants where you have starters, mains, etc.. ). We had their yuca fries (we love them), sweet potato (sorry no pic) pork ribs and octopus. The yuca is lovely crispy. The octopus is our sons favorite. The ribs....we were not big fans. Seems more reheated and dipped in sauce. They were fully done and fell off the bone. The sweet potato. It's awesome. It's also our favorite. We ate it as soon as it came out. Thus why no picture. We will be back when in the Edin

Yelp
Yummy yum Yummers wow. This place is so good. I have been here several times and it is always such great food. The yucca fries are one of the best foods I've ever eaten in my life. We were there for brunch and I got the huevos rancheros, divine! My friend got the tuna quinoa bowl (subbed carnitas for tuna) and it was so fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend!
