The Best Las Vegas Bars and Restaurants for Live Music | Eater Vegas

"Located in Las Vegas’ vibrant Arts District, Palate is an ideal spot for live music lovers seeking a lively yet relaxed dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday evening from 6 to 10 p.m., local musicians take to the piano or guitar for live performances. On Sundays, live music continues during brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., paired with bottomless mimosas or rosé. Daytime visits are bright and breezy, thanks to wide windows that open to a shaded patio and cast light on an eclectic dining room decorated ith faux trees, purple velvet testing, and framed paintings on the walls. The menu features elevated comfort food, such as longganisa sliders with cucumber slaw and spicy fries, grilled snapper, and shareable boards loaded with fried chicken, kimchi macaroni, truffle corn cheese, biscuits, and jam." - Ryan Slattery

Where to find the best happy hours in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"This downtown restaurant has happy hour Wednesday through Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. with $9 cocktails and $8 pork bao buns. But the best bet at Palate is $1 oysters every Wednesday from 3 to 10 p.m. They’re sourced from the east and west coast and served with grapefruit mignonette, vinegar, lemon and house sauce — though it’s limited to six per person." - Ryan Slattery

Where to find the best restaurants in the Arts District in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Chef Sterling Buckley, who has previously helmed the kitchens at La Cave and Honey Salt leads this maximalist-styled restaurant. The menu has dishes like soy-charred short ribs, longganisa sliders made with the sweet Filipino sausage, beef tartare, and charcuterie. Behind the bar, signature cocktails include a tequila drink with nitro-muddled rose petals and a classic espresso martini with a topping of pale green matcha cold foam." - Janna Karel

Great food and wonderful service! The menu is fantastic. Many excellent options. Something for everyone! Beautiful outdoor seating option available.

Google
What a beautiful setting being within the museum but the outdoor views are spectacular! The service was wonderful and we had the most delicious soup (miso, butternut squash). I would come back for that soup anytime. The Arnold Palmer was perfectly mixed, one of the better drinks I had in a while served in the glass jar. The fish sandwich was fine but not super. It could have been the mix of the soup and sandwich which were different flavors but worth going back to try something new.

Google
A nice restaurant cafe with an upscale but also easy going vibe. Service is attentive. Food is fresh and tasty with a focus on healthy and local. You don't need a museum ticket to dine here. It's one of the hidden gems in the Teton National Park for best eating spots!

Stopped in for lunch after a morning of hiking in Teton. Chose to wait for outdoor table and glad we did, the view is amazing! My wife and I shared the Casper Power Bowl and the Palate Burger with the subbed grilled chicken breast and the subbed cup of Game Stew. The food was out quickly despite being busy and was excellent! The service was also top notch. Already trying to figure out how to make it back during the remainder of our trip.

This is probably the coolest, most unique spot I've ever had lunch at. I'm not even sure what to compare it to because it's literally perfect. It's max 10 minutes outside of Jackson Hole, but it's totally worth the drive. The restaurant is located at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, which is a great experience itself that you can check out after lunch or while you wait for your table. You can either choose to sit inside or outside, and of course we sat outside. The patio view had me at a loss for words. It overlooks the Elk Refugee and mountains in a distance. The view itself is worth coming here. The menu is close second. I started off with their Bloody Mary which had a pretty spicy kick, but that's the way I like it. It was served really tall glass, so I enjoyed it for the whole meal. For appetizer we had the peaches & tomato plate. It was definitely creative and enjoyable, and I'm glad it wasn't filling because the main course portions definitely will fill you up. My girlfriend ordered the Casper Power Bowl which looked absolutely amazing, and we even paid extra $8 extra to have bison meat. I couldn't decide between their Palate Burger or the Trout Fish & Chips. Our great waitress recommended I try the Trout Fish & Chips since that's her favorite, and she didn't steer me wrong. For dessert, we shared a small Lemon Posset, which is a vanilla bean cream with fresh berries served in a really small cup. This place was perfect, and I will forever recommend it to people if I hear they're visiting Jackson Hole. Love love love!

Google
Inside the museum, you find this little treasure by the gift shop. We stopped in at lunchtime in the middle of January. I got the grilled cheese with French onions, and my husband got the elk meat wrap. For the appetizer, we got the pot stickers, which were cooked to perfection. All the food was wonderful, the staff very friendly, with a great location north of Jackson across from the elk refuge. Will go back when we visit the area again.

Google
The views were spectacular. The food was so delicious. I had the French Onion Grilled Cheese, get it, you won’t be disappointed. And, our server Doug has the best personality and did a superb job. It’s a must if you are visiting Jackson Hole. 10/10

Google
Super unique location and view. A total gym of a find and the food was incredible. Maybe our favorite meal in JH. The dumplings (not pictured) were possibly the best I’ve ever had and better than the super expensive ones at Kampai in downtown.

Yelp
We made a reservation and ate here for lunch right after we landed in Jackson,WY. So beautiful to sit outside on their patio and look out at the elk refuge. Our waitress was lovely! We got the game stew which was so rich and yummy. The cowboy caviar as a wrap - which comes with chips as a side. The chips are housemade and perfectly crunchy, I dipped a few in the stew and it was delicious! The trout po boy - which is yummy and the bread was fresh, the sauce was little spicy (which we like but you should know if you don't like spice). My husband got a local beer and I got the sockeye soritz which was very citrusy and refreshing. We are on our honeymoon so we also did the chamomile panna cotta and coffee which was one of the most delicious dessert we've ever had! Would highly recommend this place!!

Yelp
First of all, the setting and atmosphere were phenomenal! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch next to the beautiful bear sculpture. The food and wine were delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. If I could give this place 10 Stars I would.

Yelp
What a view! We enjoyed lunch on the patio at Palate with its views of the neighboring Elk Refuge. The food is delicious, and as a non-beef eater I was especially happy they offered a French onion grilled cheese with a mushroom au jus. Also, the soup was incredibly fresh tasting with sweet potatoes and a touch of miso. Note: It can get brisk and/or extremely sunny here so wear sunscreen and bring a jacket or sweater.

Yelp
Great view and food overlooking the elk preserve. Wild game specialties and nice salads.

Yelp
Not only can you enjoy some beautiful art, but you can have a nice lunch with a view. Palate is located inside the National Museum of Wildlife Art. They are open for lunch only with indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations are strongly encouraged as there is usually a long wait time. The décor of this places matches the beauty of the museum around it. This museum faces the Elk Refuge and you get amazing views of it through the windows. Palate has a menu that consists of sandwiches, salads and appetizers. After a whole week of hiking and viewing wildlife in Grand Teton National Park, I was craving a nice healthy sit-down lunch. I started off with a cup of Game Stew. The stew was really good and is made up of Elk, Bison, Lentils and Quinoa. My entrée was the Casper Power Bowl. Not only does it have a lot of healthy ingredients, but it is a very colorful dish. I was impressed with the overall presentation of the food I ordered. They deliver your bill inside a children's book that has cute pictures of animals.

Yelp
It's a museum restaurant so I didn't expect much, but I was completely surprised! The food was excellent!

Yelp
This was everything you want for a great lunch spot: quality food, excellent service and amazing views. The weather allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful ambience the restaurant has to offer. This was a great one-two combo with the restaurant and visiting the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Ask for Roney, he did a wonderful job!

Yelp
Get the chicken salad and the grilled cheese. 10/10 on both. Our server Doug recommended the grilled cheese and he was spot on. Easily one of our top meals in Jackson - more laidback than Local, Gather, and others in Jackson proper. *gorgeous* view. Quality food & service. EAT HERE!!!p

Anna S.

Yelp
Fantastic lunch with a view! Recommend going to the museum after too. Service was excellent and food was amazing

Yelp
Incredible view, wonderful service and amazing food. It was wonderful!! One of the better meals we had while visiting Jackson!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for the ambiance but stayed for the food! Had a phenomenal watermelon heirloom salad with the most delectable steak. It was served over arugula and topped with feta and pistachios. I should've taking a picture, but I was more excited to eat. The service was really nice as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by here for lunch while visiting the museum due to the high ratings. We had the trout fish and chips which was a bit bland and very crispy. Unfortunately, the bison gyro was heavy on the bread and low on meat. The game stew was delicious but tasted mostly of beef. Beautiful views sitting outside on patio which bumped our rating up.
google avatar

Yelp
What nice service and a wonderful lunch. We sat outside overlooking the elk reserve...so much open space and beauty! The staff was super friendly and accommodating! We loved it!

Yelp
This museum cafe well deserves its five stars. On a busy Friday, my husband and I were told there was an hour wait for a table. We ordered our food to go and had a gourmet picnic in our car. Everything was delicious: savory game and lentil stew, flavorful bahn mi sandwich, tangy beet salad with creamy goat cheese, and the exceptional Idaho red trout with house made chips and herby tartar sauce. I ate the lightly fried strips of fish with my fingers. My husband's only complaint was that the jalapeño in the sandwich was too hot--and this is a guy who loves jalapeños and puts hot sauce on almost everything. The museum is great, but we'd come back just to eat lunch here!
google avatar

Yelp
What a beautiful location!!! Great views and great food here, what's not to love. The staff was very helpful and patient as we had a few questions regarding the menu. Everything was delicious and we had a lovely afternoon here

Yelp
Came to see some wild animal arts, ended up enjoying a really nice lunch at the restaurant. The bison gyro is a must try, and the trout and chips are amazing. Our waiter Rob was very friendly and helpful. This is a great stop before heading to the Jackson Hole airport.

Yelp
Great place to visit in Jackson Hole Wyoming, great art gallery, many sculptures, and great dinning, make sure you make reservations it stays busy, if you don't you can check in and go through the gallery's it will take a while it very big, but the food was great, elk soup, burgers, chicken salad and the grilled cheese was very high end, not your run in the meal food, just an outstanding place atmosphere is great and the staff is very nice, drop a a few dollars in the shop. Great place

Yelp
This is the nicest restaurant and only restaurant I dined in at while visiting Jackson. I am so glad it was Palate because the food was amazing, the views unbelievable on top of the hill overlooking the Elk Natural Reserve, and inside a beautiful Wildlife art museum. Hubby and I was on a Grand Teton tour with our guide and she took us here. She has been here a handful of times and she raves about Palate and how she has not had a bad meal here. I was very excited to try their food and she was right! Our burgers were delicious and juicy and just the right amount of food. The coconut soup was so creamy! The hot chocolate warmed up my soul. Excellent all around and great service from our server who checked in on us several times. She was a sweetheart and even got us the correct menu (the menu she first gave us has the entrees replicated twice). Highly recommend to dine here and to check out the museum after.

Douglas W.

Yelp
The food was great. Doug the server was working so hard and did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend for the food, service, and wonderful views of the elk preserve.

Yelp
We had been at the Grand Tetons all morning. Perfect spot to take a break! Beautiful view and great food!

Wendy M.

Yelp
Very enjoyable lunch surrounded by beautiful art! I recommend making a reservation as we didn't get in the first day and made a reservation for the next day. We both enjoyed sandwiches and a cup of soup and everything was delicious!

Yelp
Unexpectedly impressive menu for A museum restaurant. Definitely recommend that you try it.

Egie D.

Yelp
Great view and even greater service by Doug. I recommend the grilled cheese from the menu.

Yelp
Roney was an amazing server! Food was fabulous! Must get Game stew, meatloaf wrap and beet salad!

Yelp
Doug was a phenomenal server, enthusiasti. Food was delicious and the view astounding.

Yelp
We hit this sport on the way to the airport, it is pretty close by. This restaurant is part of what looked like a pretty cool museum, but we didn't have time to stop. We did see lots of cool statues of animals inside and outside of the museum. We were in a bit of a rush, but ordered the spaghetti for one kid, no meatballs. He enjoyed it, but found it spicy as warned. The other kid liked Bison Gyro, but I don't have much to add. I had trout & chips. They were battered in a thick but light batter. Definitely a different take on it, which I enjoyed. They had homemade chips and a solid tartar sauce. Service was great.

Yelp
Palate was great! There is a gorgeous view of the mountains from every table and the food was delicious. Service was also wonderful and we will definitely be back!! Definitely a must stop for lunch or after a trip to the museum.

Yelp
The service was horrible and the food wasn't much better. The chicken salad sandwich was drenched in a pesto sauce could not taste the chicken. Worst I have ever had. The so called corn chowder had more sliced fingerling potatoes than corn. Had a good flavor though. The ambiance and view was great.

Yelp
Fantastic eats while at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson! Very pleasant patio with a gorgeous view across the Elk Refuge. Friendly service. Delicious food - we enjoyed the trout fish and chips and the chicken salad sandwich. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great lunch. The trout Po-boy was fantastic. Beautiful view of the Elk Refuge. Nicolina was awesome as well.

Yelp
The Family and I had lunch today at Palate which is located on the ground floor of the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Palate is pretty unique in my view being it is located within the walls of a museum, has an incredible view, and has incredible food and service. Their website describes the dining experience as "An Artful Lunch in Jackson Hole". Indeed, it is. Food and art complement each other very well in my view and should be paired as often as possible. We arrived shortly after noon and were starving from our morning at Jenny Lake. The host sat us at a beautiful table with an incredible view. Palate has a very small footprint and has a limited number of tables indoors and some tables outside. They are only open for lunch. The menu has a lot of very familiar items as well as some that aren't. The Mrs. ordered the Trout and Chips. A beautifully composed dish consisting of Idaho Red Trout fried in vodka tempura and served with malted onion, tartar sauce, lemon, and a side of house made chips. Kiddo ordered the French Onion Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Palate basically took French Onion soup and broke it down. I've never seen anything like it. Gruyère cheese, Smoked Gouda, and Pecorino placed between two slices of sourdough bread and grilled to gooey perfection and served with a mushroom au jus. I ordered the Smoked Turkey Club and I have to say it was THE BEST turkey sandwich I've ever had. Beautifully smoked turkey piled high with Gruyère cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon jam, and American Dijonaise placed between two pieces of a thinly sliced baguette. I opted to get the soup of the day instead of the chips. The soup was a mushroom Gruyère and it was incredibly rich and good. For dessert, kiddo ordered the Derby Pie which I won't describe you, but will just say it can't be missed when dining at Palate. The service at Palate was really good as well. Angelica was our server and took really great care of us.

Vic M.

Yelp
absolutely wonderful! great beet salad. totally enjoyable. Alvaro a new addition to the wait staff does a very nice job of high quality service!
google avatar

Yelp
Had lunch here before exploring the wildlife art museum. The food gets a 5; the service gets a 3; the ambience gets a 5 if you can get a table outside. There was a large school group there so I suspect the service may have better if they weren't slammed. No tables inside but still a beautiful view from inside but extremely loud until the school group left. What impressed me most was the interesting menu. I got a bison Gyro--using Babaghanoush instead of tziki--tons of delicious thinly cut bison with tasty pickled onions. Stepmom got a greek appetizer platter with amazing cauliflower--?flash fried with tasty spices. If I lived here I would come back to try other things on the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down the best lunch I had during my stay in Jackson. I enjoyed the game stew (exceptional) and the French onion grilled cheese with bison (unreal). Service was prompt and friendly. Views were unreal! Highly recommend this establishment.

Yelp
By far the best place we ate at during our 3 days in Jackson. Firstly, the views are incredible and there is such a relaxing atmosphere on the outdoor patio with plenty of tables in the shade. The food was top notch - I had the Casper Power Bowl and it was was so good, really fresh with a delicious green goddess sauce. As a vegetarian, I've had a lot of salad bowls and this was one of best. I especially loved the generous amount of avocado. The staff were so kind and attentive, and it was such a treat compared to the service we got at many restaurants in town where no one would greet you for 10+ minutes. We were also able to bring our dog, which was an unexpected surprise as the restaurant is located within a museum. We called ahead and they were happy to accommodate our dog, we just had to walk him through the lobby of the museum. I'll definitely be back here on my next trip!
google avatar

Jackie H.

Yelp
Beautiful scenery overlooking the Elk Refuge, and the restaurant is located inside the National Museum of Wildlife Art. There were three of us in our party and each lunch was absolutely delicious!
google avatar

Wendy H.

Yelp
Hands-down the best view in town!!! Food was fantastic. A little difficult for a vegetarian, but there was stuff to choose from. As an added bonus, you get the museum.

Peter W.

Yelp
Amazing food , service and ambience - a visit to Jackson has to include lunch on the patio at Palate !
google avatar

Karen W.

Yelp
We have visited the museum many times but not eaten at the Palate Restaurant there. We waited less than 30 min for a table with a magnificent view of the elk refuge. I had the soup of the day which was a delicious, delicate vegetarian corn "chowder" and the grown up grilled cheese. I would happily eat both again.

andrea w.

Yelp
Palate is a wonderful place to enjoy great food, a beautiful view and amazing service. The tomato bisque soup was some of the best soup I've ever had. Sunny was fantastic and gave us wonderful recommendations. She was friendly, professional and left us with a smile in our faces. Highly recommend this wonderful cafe!
google avatar

Christine N.

Yelp
This was such a gem! I landed in Jackson around 11am and didn't know where to eat lunch. I looked at yelp and saw this was on the way to our air bnb. This is set is due the museum and this is a gorgeous spot for lunch! We walked in, the museum requires a temperature check and masks were required. We were seated immediately, we chose to sit outside and it was perfect. The customer service was friendly and attentive. We had drinks and lunch varying of the bison, salad, fish and chips. It was the perfect beginning of the trip and I would 100% return here.

Travelin E.

Yelp
Great little bistro across from the elk preserve. Views are great, and the menu is a nice break from the standard local fare. Very creative, and well executed. The staff was efficient, friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Richard M.

Yelp
View was phenomenal, food was very good with seemingly clean and fresh ingredients. Much needed meal after eating out most of our trip. Service at front and at table was below what we explored the rest of the trip but we will definitely be back.
google avatar

Teresa M.

Yelp
The museum is a must see and The palate cafe compliments it beautifully. Much better than tourist type cafes you normally see at museums. I had a beer and cheese soup served in large round mug with a crispy bread on top. My husband had the avocado toast with trout. Both dishes were delicious. Bonus: You don't have to pay admission to enjoy the cafe. Come for a glass of wine and enjoy the view. We stopped in before our flight home but had I known about this cafe, we would have been here several times due to convenience and great food. The 15,000sf museum consists of Three different galleries and film. Very informative.

Alexis T.

Yelp
Casper power bowl and elk bahn mi Super friendly staff and gorgeous views of the elk refuge!

Peng Fei D.

Yelp
Located within the National Museum of Wildlife Art, this restaurant has an amazing view of both nature and art. The food is delicious, and the price and portions are reasonable.

Jillian E.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. Truly; the members of our party (some of whom had been traveling for 2 weeks) agreed that this was the overall best culinary experience over that time. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. We especially loved the Bloody Mary, homemade chips and dip, mushroom soup, Palete salad, and lemon dessert. The prices were quite reasonable for the area. The staff was gracious and attentive. The scenery was breathtaking. The restaurant blends very well with the unique experience offered by the museum and its state of the art building. Check this place out if you get the chance; you won't regret it!

Shellie S.

Yelp
Amazing food. The service was also good. The views are incredible as you can see the elk refuge
