Our first time here is wonderful experience. Staff was really nice and personable, I can tell they are genuinely happy to be there. They are a pleasure to interact with. It was a full house and busy but we got seated fairly quickly even at 7pm on a Friday night. I'm surprised the food was really good. This is definitely a authentic Italian place, quality of flavors are different and tastefully better than your average pasta dishes out there. Our server lady was a delight and recommend me one of her favorite cocktails. Definitely different and I enjoy it. The setting is beautiful, only issue is that the restaurant can be loud with people, of course its busy. Price is definitely higher end, but if you want a date night, dine for a special occasion, I highly recommend it.

Everything 10/10! The service was spectacular, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing. They have a parking lot across the street, and even an employee to help you cross the street. The hostess was very friendly. Atmosphere was warm, family friendly, and very spacious. Right now they have lots of beautiful holiday decorations! Food was amazing, from drinks to main dishes to dessert. We had the chicken parmigiana and the pansotti. For dessert we had the tiramisu (1000/10) and the cheesecake, both were delicious. Service was fast and very friendly. Everything was very clean. Definitely a must. And definitely a place to return to!

Food was OK but needs attention to details. Arancine were crispy on the outside but the rice inside was gummy, lacking any individual grains of rice, almost like mashed potatoes rather than rice. The rice was also under-seasoned and bland. The chicken parmesan was a thinly sliced cutlet but needed some texture - the bread coating on the cutlet was not at all crispy and was soggy. I suspect that the chicken was not freshly prepared to order but was fried a long time in advance and simply assembled when I ordered. (As a side note - I was told that the chicken parm would include both pasta and a vegetable side, but I only got pasta and NO veggies). All that said, the tomato sauce on both the Arancine and chicken parm had fresh tomato and basil flavor.

We attended a baby shower event in Palermo's BEAUTIFUL patio. When you see Palermo from the outside, it is not much. But that changes as soon as you step inside. You have to experience it! Anyway, my review is slanted towards the venue and the AMAZING hospitality we received. The food was of course top notch! We loved the Zucchini fries, salad, pasta and pizza! But what we loved more was their wonderful service. They had their staff take drinks orders and serve up food. They also took care of boxing up left over food for guests to take home and served up dessert! Couldn't have asked for a more heartwarming experience! Consider Palermo for you next event! The only issue is with parking. Once overflow parking across the street fills up, you will need to either find street parking or park at Orchard Supply which is about a 5-7 mins walk to the restaurant.

Looking for some good authentic Italian while I was in town for business. Luckily, some great reviews pointed me in the right direction. It was easy to find but parking can be a little difficult. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They took us right to a table for a late lunch. Within 2 minutes we had waters and some great fresh bread. The inside is a combination of covered outside and inside seating. Started with bruschetta and side salads. Both were tasty and came out promptly. The highlight was our entrees. They smelled awesome and came out piping hot. I had the farfalle mafiusa, which is now tie pasta with mushroom and homemade Italian sausage. It was perfect! 🤩 I loved every bite and the sausage was delicious! My buddy had the sausage/mushrooms/peppers and said it was really good as well. I had to try their tiramisu after the waiter said it was made in house. Wow 🤯!!!! It was very good and fresh. I put this on my list to come back next time I’m in town.

The Palermo Italian Restaurant looked so inviting I couldn't just drive past the joint without at least checking it out. So..I called my pal Evo Pelligrini to see what he says, because he's eaten at every Italian restaurant in the greater bay area! Evo said Palermo is maybe the best Italian restaurant in San Jose, and I should stick with a pasta dish, so that's exactly what I did and the pasta was Spectacularly delicious! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ for sure!

Google
Driving up, we were skeptical since it’s an industrial zone. We didn’t know there was a parking lot across the street from the restaurant so we parked in a neighborhood. Walking into the restaurant, I was amazed at the beautiful interior in the back. I can definitely see people renting this place out for events, there’s a lot of greenery and it’s a big open space. We ordered the Quattro platter appetizer to share and we had carbonara, seafood risotto, meatballs. The food was beautifully presented, the appetizer was really good! I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Google
Went for a birthday dinner and was very disappointed by the food. Only good part of the entire dinner was the tiramisu. Calamari Fritte was dry and very hard to chew. They remade it for us, but the new one was equally disappointing. Pasta lacked any flavor and taste. Pizza was okish, nothing special.

Yelp
Excellent Ambiance. Very efficient service. Franco recommended few of the best food options and all of them were amazing! Must try: Fried Zucchini if you like something other than potato ;)

Yelp
This year was the 3rd year we held our holiday volunteer appreciation party here. I know that this will be regular spot from now on! We had about 40 people and everything was perfect! The ambiance was wonderful- the space set up so well to accommodate a large crowd. Service was incredible - the staff all went out of their way to attend to our requests in a timely manner They were courteous and welcoming - keeping up with the flow of the party and anticipating our needs which was so appreciated! We have a gift exchange also and there was enough space to make the process go really smoothly! We all had the best time! Special shout out to Luciana who was awesome as were all the rest of the staff! I can't overlook praising the food- which was so delicious. I am from an Italian family in philly where the bar is set pretty high but Palermo is right up there with them ! Prices were reasonable and portions large !

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 So good -- I'll definitely be back! We came here Saturday night around 8pm and got a table pretty quickly. We ended up being the last table there since they close at 9, but they were super polite and didn't rush us. We weren't trying to overstay and probably left at around 9 anyway. They turned off the music once we were the only ones there and I honestly really appreciated the quieter atmosphere! They had a high ceiling in the main dining area with string lights across the ceiling, the setup was beautiful. We had a sleeping baby in the group and one of our servers helped set up his carrier in a seat next to the table. They were really friendly and polite and even though initially we requested everything to be served at once, when we reconsidered and preferred appetizers first served followed only after by the main dishes, they changed course for us. They were really fast with bringing everything out too! We had complimentary bread in the beginning and ordered fried zucchini, which were crispy and flavorful, and farfalle al salmone, which was super creamy and delicious. Be warned for those with lactose intolerance that you either need lots of lactase or to avoid the farfalle al salmone however! My partner had a hard time the next morning lol.

Yelp
On my last night in San Jose, my friends and I stopped in after being super indecisive about dinner. And I'm so glad we did! The restaurant is decorated cutely and has this romantic vibe to it. Perfect for a date night. Our waiter was relatively attentive and very funny. Who doesn't love a good laugh to lighten the mood? Our drinks were pretty strong, which my friends weren't a fan of, but I love a strong pour! And onto the most important part- the food! I was indecisive again, and eventually decided to keep it classic with the Spaghetti and Meatballs. It was delicious! The sauce was fresh and had a distinct flavor to it, and the meatballs were well seasoned. Does anyone remember that children's song? On top of spaghetti, all covered in cheese~ No? Just me? Well the pile of cheese dusted atop the mountain of spaghetti was perfect. And in case anyone does remember this song, I was lucky enough that all my meatballs stayed intact and didn't roll to the ground hehe.

Yelp
Overall, I wasn't entirely impressed with my experience here but there were some notable things I'll mention that were positive. The welcoming staff was kind and made us feel comfortable right away which was nice, bringing out bread and water for us quickly. I forgot to snap a picture of the dinner we ordered, but it was some sort of Veal special, risotto yellow pasta/rice type thing. For $50, it was not worth the price.. we would have been better off ordering a classic pasta dish I assume.. Service was fine, but not impressive. It took quite a while to get our food out which wasn't great. I did get a photo of the chocolate cake we ordered, but I wouldn't recommend it either. It was very thick almost a glue like texture that stuck to the roof of our mouths in an off putting way. I will say the patio and ambience set was pleasant, relaxing and spacious which I enjoyed a lot. Overall, im sure there's better things to order, but what we ordered wasn't all the special, and a bit over priced for the quality. 3.6/5

Yelp
Stopped here again for the second time this month. We fly in for business and this is quickly becoming my go to for authentic Italian food and remarkable service.

Yelp
Wow, I was thoroughly surprised by my second visit. The restaurant was nicely upgraded for the season, weather proof curtains, LOVELY holiday decorations, and even a cross walk attendant because their main parking lot is across the street and people speed like crazy down that street. The appetizer platter was great, meatballs are super processed? or ground up VERY well, it is one of those meatballs with super smooth texture - just FYI. Fried zucchini was my favorite, cut into small french fry shapes!!! Healthy french fries? Yes, please. Pizza crust was good, chewy in the right way, and flavored well. The kids' menu is $10 for any non-meat dish, what a steal! It came out nearly the size of our entrees. Marinara tasted standard, nothing amazing, even my 7 year old could tell, but she still scarfed it down. We enjoyed it as leftovers too. What stood out to me the most: the bowtie salmon vodka sauce (that might be an abomination to Italy....idk), everything I love in one plate. And, the clam linguine, incredible flavor, and HUGE clams!!! For some reason, the dishes that were more "complicated" were better than the typical dishes?? I am not sure I'd stray away from those dishes, but trust me, those two are excellent. 100% coming back for a cozy, but slightly elevated family ambiance. I also left a diaper bag there (nothing important in there) and they held onto it; when I realized and called, they knew right away which bag. The table by the entrance, directly to your right is where we sat, and I would avoid it, one side of the round table is directly in the walk way AND I think we were getting some smells from the vents, and not kitchen smells.

Yelp
I came here for a date night with my boyfriend over the weekend. He called in to make a reservation for 6:30pm. Parking is confusing at first until you see the big restaurant sign that says parking in huge lettering when you're driving past by. Parking was free, and the attendants helped us walk/cross the road over to the restaurant. We got seated promptly and was given drink and food menus. Our server was awesome, he recommended us some favorite items on the food and drink menus. We ordered some drinks to start off with and oh my, I thought they were pretty strong. Once watered down a bit, it was delicious. We ordered the arancine rice balls for our appetizers. It was good with the marinara sauce, but I felt like the rice ball itself could've been more savory. The marinara sauce securely complemented the appetizer though. Our main courses were the spaghetti and meatballs along with the seafood linguine they offered there. I got the spaghetti and meatballs, and it tasted perfect. The meatballs had flavor and was still piping hot off the dish. My boyfriend devoured his seafood linguine, and said he would come back again for it in the future. Service here is A1. We were checked on many times and had water refills. You don't feel rushed eating here, they make you feel comfortable and the outdoor atmosphere is nice. One thing to note about the service was that the sun was in my boyfriend's face and the server noticed. He went over to move the big umbrellas to make shade, it was so thoughtful. Later on as it cooled down, I saw some girls sitting on the edge of the restaurant getting a little cold, the servers went over to draw the drapes so the wind wouldn't hit them. 10/10 service. I'll be back to try the ravioli and pizza next time because I saw a lot of people ordering it!

Yelp
Palermo is one of those rare gems that gets everything right. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality -- the kind that makes you feel like family (and yes, they even roll out the red carpet for your furry family members too!). The service is truly next-level. Every member of the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you're cared for -- not in that rehearsed, "customer service" way, but with authentic kindness and attention to detail. You can tell they love what they do. And the food... wow. Every dish tastes like it came straight out of an Italian grandmother's kitchen. My husband, who is a militant Italian when it comes to his food standards, actually nodded in approval after his first bite -- which is basically the culinary equivalent of a standing ovation. The flavors are rich, balanced, and clearly crafted with passion and high-quality ingredients. To top it all off, the ambiance is serene and lovely -- sitting along the creek adds such a peaceful, romantic touch to the experience. Between the beautiful setting, the heartfelt service, and the impeccable food, Palermo is truly the full package. It's a fantastic value for the quality you get -- easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in ages. We can't wait to come back (and neither can our dog!).

Yelp
Came here for lunch on Thursday. The service and food were both good. Carbonara was our fav. Would def come back! - Caprese: 5/5 - Spaghetti Carbonara: 5/5, rich and creamy. Fav of the meal! - Fettuccine con pollo: 4/5, it was ok, nothing special about it

Yelp
Came here with my partner we always see it near our area and heard from others it's good. Ambiance They have a large dining area with seating both indoors with partly outside, on a deck and one section with AC. It's well decorated and made me feel at home. Service Services was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The food was prepared very fast. We were in and out within and hour. Food We felt like the food was very homey. It wasn't amazing but good. We've also never seen chicken parm with veggies and potatoes, that was interesting but good. The drinks were very good.

Yelp
We went to Palermo not expecting so much. We were looking for a birthday venue, and we were pleasantly surprised! They have the Cigar Room that's set-up for celebrations fit to accommodate a large group easily. The food, the service, the venue set-up, the coordination from food menu all the way to clean-up was a breeze. We had a great experience from the owner all the way to the parking help. Definitely recommended Italian Place to go to. We would hands down go back over and over again. Thank you very m

Yelp
Random cute thing is its in a very random place with just the restaraunt in like a neighborhood/school district but they have crossing guards! There is a small lot across the street but also street parking. I was surprised by the enormous size of this place and you could definitely fit an entire extended family. They decorated it cutely with string lights and there's like a huge open space and a smaller more private in the back. The servers were funny and Italian. They were like you are transported to sicily and did ask multiple times if we wanted drinks. But attentive ( we also went really late and hour before closing) it seems to be a popular date spot with an open ambiance. We did have multiple check ins and drank so much water the server left the carafe on our table lol. We only got pasta which had a good price for the portion. Also they gave us a whole little waste basket of bread which i felt like was half a baguette and for two girls - very happy carb munch. Olive oil and butter both provided and good tasting ( not astringent or anything). Offered parmesean grated on top. Gnocchi aurora- wow I think why 5 stars. The best gnocchi I have ever tasted. I expected a richer sauce but its a robust tomatoe flavor. The gnocchi is perfectly made, has that qq chewy bounce but isn't mushy and clings onto the sauce well. Like perfect mix between flour and potato. I usually find it too hard or too mushy but this was perfect. I think this would be great with a red pepper flake vodka sauce or plain butter and sage. Fettuccine con pollo- cheaper than fettuccine with chicken. Has dried tomatoes and mushrooms. The chicken is dry. But again good pasta, perfectly cooked. I appreciate that the Alfredo sauce wasn't oily and cooked to a good texture that clung to the noodles. I liked the late night ambiance it's a surprisingly cute place. Outside can be a bit scary as its very dark. They really know their pasta.
google avatar

Todd O.

Yelp
I've ordered spaghetti here on occasion. I usually ask for extra sauce but forgot. The pasta is pretty naked due to a lack of sauce. Double the sauce and you'll be getting there. I finally ordered a Margherita pizza and what a disappointment! It should have crispy crust! What I got was honestly inedible. Way too much cheese and half inch thick tomatoes meant it didn't cook through. They need to retrain the cooks to have passion for pizza. You can tell the pizza was slopped together by someone who simply didn't care. A Shame because the pizza has potential if made right. I pulled off some of the crusts and tried half a slice, but the rest went into the trash.

Yelp
Visited Palermo for the first time on a Sunday evening around 8pm as a party of two. There is street parking and also a retail/commercial parking garage about 6 minute walk away. Didn't have a reservation but we were seated immediately! Decent amount of vegetarian options - we ordered the Fettucine Alfredo and the Penne Palermo for mains followed by tiramisu for dessert. Fettuccine Alfredo (3/5): Creamy in texture but it lacked the rich and savory flavor. Fell flat for us Penne Palermo (3.5/5): The tomato based sauce gave the dish some flavor but it still could have used more seasoning. The eggplant was tasty Tiramisu (5/5): Nice way to end the meal! The tiramisu was light and sweet. Would recommend Tiramisu was delicious, but the pasta dishes didn't stand out to us as they could have been more flavorful. Customer service was good. I'm glad I got to dine here but unsure if I would come back. Overall, I would give Palermo a 3.5, rounding down to 3.

Yelp
I've had to come out of Yelp retirement for this. To Diane (the owner): you probably decided that you could talk to my husband and I any kind of way without repercussion, and I wouldn't doubt if that's because I'm Black and he's Hispanic. Well, you're in for a rude awakening. My husband and I dined in tonight for the first time at this restaurant. We actually enjoyed our meal and literally discussed plans to have my husband's birthday there. Towards the end of our meal, we saw movement in the corner of our eyes. We looked and saw a cockroach. A baby sized one came out a little later. They appeared to be coming from behind the picture on the wall. As we were already pretty much done eating, we flagged a waiter to bring us the check, and we informed them of the roaches we saw. We didn't make it a big deal, just casually informed them. Didn't make a scene, complain, or make demands for a free meal, nothing. We actually had no plans to post a review about this; we just wanted to simply inform them. More waiters came and they were very apologetic and offered to move us to a different table and a free dessert which we declined both because we were already leaving. We thought that was going to be the end of it, but it wasn't. Shortly after that, Diane appeared at our table and glared evilly back and forth between my husband and I without a word for several seconds. Then, the first words out of her mouth with the most condescending tone, "Do we have a problem here?" My husband responded, "The problem is right there," pointing to the roach on the wall. Her response came with increased aggression, "Do you know you're outside?" At this point, we gathered she was on the defense. We were in shock and literally speechless as she continued to patronize us and literally point her fingers in our faces. Something along the lines of, "We're outside. The homeless live near here and we're by the creek. We have pest control come every week. I can assure you there are no roaches in our kitchen. The next time you want to eat here, just say you want to eat inside." And then she walked off without a single apology. My jaw was on the floor, and the roach and its baby had a front row seat to it all. Diane, we were first time customers, and in all my years of dining out, I have never, and I do mean never, been treated this disrespectfully by anyone at a restaurant, especially from the owner. You are classless, and you don't deserve the amazing staff you have. We will never dine here again, but then again, you probably wanted this to be the outcome.

Yelp
Another great experience! Food and service were excellent. Although I had made a reservation for 6:30 when we arrived I could tell they were overwhelmed. It looked like they were having a company party. However, I was still sat less than 10 minutes after my reservation time. Our server helped us promptly and the food came very quick. Everyone left full and satisfied. Can't wait for the next visit! Next time I'm trying the pizza because it looks so good!

Yelp
We LOVE Palermo!! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is amazing, and the ambiance terrific. There are different areas for different moods and party areas for large gatherings. We hosted a party there and every detail was flawless. They celebrate birthdays with flare and fun. The owners are warm, friendly, and engaging. The servers & hostess are consistently excellent and charming!! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
First time here for a late lunch with wife and friends. Got a chicken sandwich. The Chicken on sandwich was thin and dry. Nothing else on the plate was given with the sandwich. :( Their table bread was nice and warm, fresh and had bottles of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar at the table. It honestly was very good. LoL Their Italian Atmosphere was very nice, roomy, comfortable and server was very nice. Bathrooms were clean and sanitary. We will definitely come here for dinner next time.

Yelp
We catered a birthday lunch on October 11 at Palermo. We wanted to express our delight and gratitude to owner Diane Cusimano and her excellent staff for the wonderful planning and service they provided. We had a set menu with several entree options, passed appetizers, and a selection of drinks. They set up precisely as we wished. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the price was highly favorable. Diane arranged for a special cake for the celebration. Our 38 guests had a wonderful time. This spacious restaurant with its casual and attractive setting is ideal for gatherings of this size (as well as having more intimate spaces for smaller groups). We had a wonderful time, and recommend this excellent restaurant in the highest terms.

Yelp
My leftover tutto mare actually tasted even better hence the 4+ star. I'm not sure why people are complaining about parking as there's plenty in the overflow lot. Food wise, I think it's better than average to good. Executive Summary: + Very large party friendly and good customer service (5/5) + Spacious dining areas with nice decor for every holiday (5/5) + Vegan menu and gluten free pizza looks great (5/5) + Customizable options such as side of pasta instead of veggies (5/5) + Quattro appetizer hits the mark if you like fried goodies but could use a hint of salt on the calamari (4/5) What could be better: - Tutto mare customized with wine sauce was a little bland at first but the abundance of seafood was delightful (3/5) - Wife ordered seafood linguine that was OK but she had to add more peppers and cheese to make it tasty (3/5) I think we ordered wrongly on our entrees. I probably could've added salt, more Parmesan cheese and peppers to my wine sauce for a little more flavor. I did go off menu a bit since the tutto mare originally comes with marinara sauce. However, this place hits the mark on everything else. I'll certainly give it another try.

Yelp
I attended a Christmas lunch with a group of about 35 people and loved the restaurant! first of all, the atmosphere was amazing, good job on the decor. Secondly, our waiters were amazing: very attentive, polite, and friendly, everyone loved the lunch! thirdly, the food itself was delicious, the wine was good, and the dessert were breathtaking. I'll be back when I crave italian food :)

Yelp
Move to the area and took a different street to work and saw this. Came here for Father's Day dinner, it looked packed on the patio but to my surprise it was huge inside and we went to another part which had a lot of people and there was a whole other part we didn't even see. Large without feeling empty. Nice views along the creek and great outdoor summer spot. All the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. We got chicken parm and a small pizza, cheese cake and gelato. Everything was spectacular! Highly recommend and coming back to try more.

Yelp
I been comming to Palermo for years from there orginal location in downtown San jose to their new location. The italian food here is the best ,hands down. I love their pasta with clams. The brushetta and bread is to die for. Of course finally cappuccino for desert . Overall where ever you live in the bay area it's worth the drive
google avatar

Yelp
Palermo is one of those places i would drive by and note in my head I should check that out. After so long of driving by and saying next time me and my friends implusively were like let's go to Palermo finally! I will say it was 100% worth the calamari was very good exactly what you want when you think Calamari. The inside was very pretty and nicely decorated for the holiday season. All of the food was so goood it has all of those authentic tastes that you're looking for when you think italian food. The service was very good til it got super busy but that's understandable but it took awhile to leave because of that

Yelp
Palermo is a hidden gem in San Jose!! The space was huge with multiple dining areas that were all gorgeous and incredibly romantic. Despite how large the restaurant is, it feels intimate and cozy- a perfect spot for a date night. The food was all delicious. The salad was perfectly simple and fresh. It definitely primed us for the eggplant parmigiana, which was so cheesy and had enough red sauce for me to dip my bread in afterwards. We split the tortellini and it was so satisfying. The red sauce was perfectly creamy and balance with the ham and pea filling of the tortellini. Even with it split in half I felt that there was plenty of pasta for me to be overly full. I loved it and I can't wait to try other pastas here, although I would definitely order the tortellini again. Prices were high but maybe very slightly less than fancy Italian restaurants in the area. Overall we had a lovely experience and I look forward to coming back!

Yelp
Parking is horrible.. particularly for seniors or disabled. Street is heavily traveled, lots of big trucks. Small parking lot across the street is only place to park and dangerous street to cross to get to restaurant. Food is excellent.

Yelp
This place has a lot of seating and has a very nice Christmas atmosphere with a bunch of pretty decorations. I think this place is a great place for big groups or a date. It's located near a park and some industrial buildings. The service is good, and the workers are friendly. I got the Fresh Dungeness Crab Ravioli. I thought the serving size for it was smaller than expected especially given its price. The ravioli was thin and soft. The sauce was creamy and delicious. I finished it pretty fast. We had a big group but I appreciated how they served all of our dishes together at the same time. It was a great experience coming here and I would come back again.

Yelp
Everything was great service was excellent, food was even better. Would definitely recommend to anybody who likes to enjoy good food and great atmosphere

Yelp
Came for a birthday dinner for family member. I had been there before but that was before their remodel. The patio was all covered and looked nice. They were pretty busy for a Saturday and the service came every once in a while. I only noticed since my order was i correct and it was a wait till our server came back. I had ordered the ravioli with meat sauce. I got a different ravioli with chicken. I didn't even know there was a different one on the menu. Once we let them know the mistake, I got my order pretty quickly. I may come back with a smaller group next time.

Yelp
Great authentic Italian food! I finally got to try it. Staff was great from the time we arrived. Pet friendly! We brought our dog. The patio area is nice and spacious, parking is easy. There are over flow lots and street parking.

Yelp
All the workers here were very delightful. I enjoyed my food but my boyfriend noticed that his chicken parm wasn't seasoned at all. The pizza was also cold but that's fine. Other than that, the ambiance and service was 5/5.

Yelp
We love Palermo's, we came for a late birthday dinner last Saturday. It had been a year since we last came by, the front sitting area of the restaurant has been redone, looks very nice with a new bar area. We sat in the back, and were helped right away. Food was delicious and beautifully plated.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday dinner and was very impressed with this restaurant. The service was amazing, they checked in with us multiple times and ensured everyone was having a great time. The food itself was pretty good, with options set for the party. The party buffet included aperol spritz (yum!!), chicken picatta, two pasta options and a veggie pizza. I thought the pizza was the best part of the night, as the pastas were more on the bland side. However, the vibes inside the restaurant made up for the food, with beautiful fairy lights, open air and a stunning view of the nature right behind us! I would definitely give this place another try!

Yelp
This was my first trip, and hopefully not my last to Palermo Italian restaurant. From the outside, you wouldn't believe how cavernas and big it is inside. I was impressed with all the different decor you could choose from for your dining experience. I came for the spaghetti and meatballs that I saw on YELP for $18. I ordered it even though the price had gone up to $24 and it came within 10 minutes. It came with slices of bread, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Very tasty and I was satisfied with the pasta and the meatballs. I would definitely come later for the other items that I saw on the tasty menu. I give it four stars only because of the price difference, and the drink that I ordered tasted funny, even though I had it made twice .

Yelp
Wanted to update my review since it's been a while. Palermo will always be a consistent restaurant in our rotation. We still live close by and love coming here for special occasions. We stopped in for valentines 2025 and made a reservation. It was BUSY but the service was still great. Recently they also added a covered patio with a heater inside so the cold winter months don't affect your experience here. The food was great and my husband's short rib was DELICIOUS. It's a seasonal item but should be around for another 30 days or so, definitely a must try. If you're a wine person I definitely recommend bringing a bottle from home and paying the corkage to enjoy your favorite wine with some great Italian food.

Yelp
My boyfriend brought me fettuccine alfredo with chicken from this restaurant and it was the best fettuccine alfredo i've ever had in my life. I've been hoping to go there in person soon to tru everything. He told me the vibe of the place seemed authentic italian and that the service was great when he went to pick up. Would definitely get food from here again

Yelp
Came for a large dinner party of about 20 of us and they were able to accommodate us. They are also dog friendly. Love the bar area and our waitress was so patient and really helpful. Food was fresh and amazing. Definitely try their Quattro appetizer! Sooo good! Hubby had crab ravioli which he devoured and I had the tutto mare linguini. I asked for extra sauce and it was perfect! Definitely a bit pricier, but do come for date night!

Yelp
Parking is a nightmare if you are not used to the area. There were some signs to lead us to their overflow parking since the parking lot right across from the restaurant was full. Additionally, they had a hostess at the front of the restaurant giving everyone directions to find their overflow parking. Went here for Father's Day and it was quite busy, but that did not stop the servers from hustling. These servers were RUNNING everywhere, bussing and serving tables, I was pretty impressed. They even check in on you frequently to make sure everything is ok. Complimentary bread, butter, balsamic vinegar + olive oil is a plus! Note: they didn't have a non-alcoholic menu so we just ordered a regular beverage off the top of our head. This restaurant is pretty huge and beautiful. The only downside to this was that I came on a hotter day and since we had outside seating, there was no AC. Spaghetti with meatballs - 4/5 stars. A plate of spaghetti with 4 big meatballs. It's not blowing spaghetti and meatballs or anything, we just ordered this to try a classic dish. Carbonara pasta - 4.75 star. Solid carbonara pasta. The sauce was rich and creamy and the flavor was delicious. I would definitely recommend the carbonara to friends and family. Overall 4.5/5 stars. Would definitely return! Portion sizes were large enough to keep us full.

Yelp
Love coming to Palermo's! Great food, fantastic service by Franco, and fabulous owner of the restaurant who was very kind to us. Franco knew the food and wine very well and gave recommendations. Diane is so sweet and made us feel right at home. I forget how lovely their patio is especially at night. Get the pizza, fettuccine with meat sauce and peas, and tiramisu. Tiramisu was better than spumoni ice cream. Loved their salted caramel ice cream too.

Yelp
The perfect spot for a date night! I can't believe it took me this long to finally try this spot out. The food was absolutely delicious, the interior is cozy, and the service was nothing but great. I'll definitely be back

Yelp
ONE OF THE BEST pasta places I've been to! My friends surprised me with a birthday dinner here, and the ambiance was so cute! They had fairly lights hanging everywhere and the service was great. Our waiter definitely knew his wine, and we were very appreciative! The Chicken Alfredo was delicious along with the warm bread.

Yelp
Palermo was such a fun little spot, but the setup definitely threw me off at first. It's technically indoors, they've done a good job making it feel nice with overhangs, fairy lights and decorations, but it still has that makeshift, post-COVID expansion feel. The service, though? Absolutely incredible. Jean, our server, was SO friendly, super attentive, and gave great menu recommendations. Plus, the food came out crazy fast, which I really appreciated. I started with an espresso martini, and honestly? One of the best I've ever had--perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just so good. For an appetizer, we got the calamari, which was pretty standard, I liked that they included both rings and tentacles for a nice mix. For mains, my boyfriend got the spaghetti carbonara, which we both really liked, but it was super heavy. Actually, all our dishes leaned on the rich side. I had the pesto gnocchi b their chicken parmigiana, which I LOVE that they let you do. You can mix and match any pasta with their chicken parm, which is such a fun little perk. The chicken itself was crispy, saucy, and exactly what I wanted. We finished with the tiramisu, which was light and airy, but I wish it had a stronger coffee flavor. One more thing to note--the parking situation is pretty solid. There are a few parallel spots nearby, a small parking lot across the street, and another one just a block away, so you don't have to stress about finding a spot. The area around Palermo can feel a little rough, with a lot of RVs parked nearby. It's not a dealbreaker, but just something to be aware of if you're sensitive to the surroundings Overall, Palermo has great food, insanely good service, and a unique little vibe. The space is kinda unconventional, but if you're looking for a cozy Italian spot with big flavors, it's definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Such an amazing experience, tonight we were kid free and got to enjoy a date night for the first time in a long time. My husband knows I love the ambiance of Palermo's and booked us a reservation. Our server Luciana was the absolute BEST!!! She went above and beyond to make sure they had my favorite sparkling wine and had the best suggestions. The staff was so nice and attentive and everyone had such a great attitude. Thank you Luciana for making our night so special, we will be back.

Yelp
I love the food and ambience at this restaurant. Try to get a table overlooking the Guadalupe creek. Restrooms are kind of weird but clean. My favorite things to order are the veal and seafood pasta. My 12 year old loves the spaghetti and meatballs and my 5 year old loves the plain pasta with olive oil (they are very accommodating if you want to customize kids food).
