"Palihouse West Hollywood — One Key West Hollywood As you’d expect based on the Palisociety brand’s previous form, the Palihouse West Hollywood is a vintage-inspired stunner — its design incorporates L.A.’s plentiful European influences and encompasses a multitude of eras on the way to delivering a blend that ultimately feels fresh and fully realized. Palisociety Takes the Show on the Road

"The very first Palisociety hotel was the Palihouse Holloway, a boutique-chic extended-stay concept named for its West Hollywood address. A decade and a half and more than a few Palisociety openings later, the brand has revisited its roots, with what’s less a simple renovation and more a total replacement of its original hotel: the 95-room Palihouse West Hollywood." - Mitchell Friedman

Location and rooms were excellent, so much space. We had a room on the side of the street which was noisy but ear buds worked well for this. Had some issues with housekeeping. Staff were welcoming and friendly bar one!

Palihouse West Hollywood is a refreshingly stylish boutique stay, ideal for travelers seeking character, comfort, and a social pool‑bar vibe in a central LA location. Great location near shopping stores and shopping mall, restaurants galore, and antiques. If you value design, ambiance, and a home‑like suite, it’s well worth considering. Just request a quiet room away from 3rd St, prepare for potential extras (fees, minor noise), and enjoy the Pali spirit. Valet parking available and everything is in walking distance. Classy and chic with a hint of flare and modernism. Love the natural light and live plants.

The Croissants they serve for breakfast aren’t fresh. They are soggy. Clerks keep them behind the desk and bring out only 3 at the time. I understand personnel trying to make the goods last! Still they should at least keep the Croissants in proper container to maintain crispness. Not in bags which keep them moist. I ended up going to one of the multiple cafés around the corner to purchase a Fresh Croissant.

A very cute boutique hotel with carefully curated details. The design is 😍 perfect for a one night stay. The surrounding area is also nice. Note that the restaurant is only open for breakfast. The only downside was the water pressure - low and hard to wash long hair. Despite that everything was good.

The aesthetic of the hotel is super cute, however, you can hear everything. I heard people on the floor above me, people in the room next to me, traffic from outside, etc. The staff in the lobby were nice and accommodating but I was randomly charged $800 and nobody could tell me why. After being redirected, I was told it was just a “temporary charge” and it would clear. Which it did but there was zero explanation for it as I already put my card down for the initial $100 hold. So $800 is ridiculous to have no knowledge of how it got there. The diner staff was kind of rude- seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Room service was lacking- they hardly have any menu items. But overall it’s a decent hotel in a good location in LA. Just make sure you’re freezing your card and get the top floor.

The hotel strikes the perfect balance between laid-back luxury and smart, stylish design. My room was super comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches, and the lobby bar and restaurant had a great vibe—elevated but unpretentious, with great coffee and cocktails. You can tell Palisociety really understands its guests—creative, well-traveled types who appreciate design, comfort, and a little character. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
A perfect stay and ideally located. The rooms were beautiful, with lots of thoughtful touches (eg a steamer, plenty of storage, diptique toiletries) and I really appreciated the pool (especially the pic n’ mix). Andreii at reception went above and beyond to make my stay even more special - thank you!

Google
Only stayed one night but the price was the best in the area for our short family trip to universal studios nearby. Double queen beds were soft, cozy and comfortable. Only thing missing in the room was a small desk/chair if needed for laptop work. Valet, front desk, server in restaurant were all friendly and helpful. We got in late and restaurant was closed for the night (9pm) so we grabbed food from Bobby’s Pizzeria across the street and that was also VERY good (pizza slices, chicken parm sandwich, Greek salad). Elevators smelled of rich mahogany and leather bound books (iykyk). Will definitely stay here again on next trip to the area.

Yelp
Charming hotel. Love the room layout. It makes so much sense. I don't know why other hotels don't use that design as there is more room to move around and to work comfortably. I enjoyed having a clothes steamer rather than an iron. The food I ordered in was delicious and Iove that my fruit sampler came with tajin. Using valet was easy as I came and went and check-in was simple. The room was stocked with snacks and alcohol if I wanted to partake. The bathrobe was a nice touch. You get a free drink coupon with check-in. The hotel is also really close to shopping. Things I didn't love...the lobby is dark which made it hard to see clearly. I pushed the button for the elevator on arrival and it fell off in my hand. I ordered room service and my food arrived on a napkin lined tray and the napkin was sopping wet. I guess the tea spilled on the way...Not great for presentation. I couldn't effectively control the temp in my room and it was a little cold for my liking. The only shower head was a rainfall one and those are a nightmare when you're not washing your hair. There wasn't enough space on the bathrom counter to place my toiletries without them hanging over or falling into the sink. Resort fees seem over the top. At check out, the one clerk was deeply engaged in problem solving with a guest and I was in a rush so I just gave my room number. A week later I had to call for my receipt as it hadn't been sent and there was a random ghost minibar charge that I refuted since I hadn't touched anything in the minibar. I wondered if they thought I wouldn't notice the charge. I really enjoyed my stay, but there were just too many issues to be 4 star. With a few tweaks though this place would easily be a 5 star.

Yelp
I was in love with this cool bar and beautiful place!! Carolina is the nicest person at the bar and showed us the happy hour menu Delicious drink at 8$ only Will come back to try out the food !! Thank you Carolina :)

Yelp
We had an extended business trip and stayed here for 10+ days. It was clear we weren't the usual customers of this establishment and experienced the passive aggressive treatment of WH. Overall though everyone was polite enough. There were some issues with the room but resolved quickly.

Yelp
The Parisian Happy Hour burger was good. I liked the sauce & the size. Heard they used to have sushi on HH - hope that comes back soon!

Yelp
This charming boutique hotel stands out with its impeccable decor and inviting ambiance. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was captivated by the beautiful scenery that effortlessly blended vintage elegance with modern comfort. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the carefully curated furnishings to the unique art pieces that adorned the walls. The hotel's commitment to excellence extended to its offerings, with a happy hour that truly exceeded expectations. The carefully crafted cocktails and delectable bites were a perfect way to unwind after exploring the vibrant West Hollywood scene. The hotel's location was another major plus, with easy access to the bustling streets of West Hollywood while still offering a peaceful retreat.

Yelp
We love coming here for drinks because Michael is the best! He's always so friendly and attentive - which can be super rare in this area. A++ cocktails. Thanks for always being the top-notch, Michael!

Yelp
Meh, food was okay. We ordered oysters and they didn't let us know they didn't have any until about 30 mins after we ordered and waited for them. No biggie but yeah definitely would've ordered something else ahaha. We sat outside, they must have juuust opened as there wasn't really anyone else there. Outside patio is fairly small but intimate and cute, inside looked cute and seemed empty. The table was kind of small which was a bit of a hassle with the food and drinks we ordered. Everything was truly just okay, nothing bad. Service was alright, but again they must've just opened as we didn't see our waiter all too much. Don't think we'd be back but really just wasn't anything memorable for us to do so.

Yelp
Cool little spot in WeHo, good drinks, nice ambiance, decent service. It definitely seems like a chill spot to meet and grab a drink if you're in the area. I really enjoyed the Mac & Cheese app, but some of the other food items we tried were pretty average. The brunch menu looked good (will have to try it in the future) and they make a great spicy margarita, my friends also liked the espresso martinis. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area too, but it may be chilly for some at night in fall/winter months. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Value: 3/5 Overall: 4/5

Yelp
Palihouse is the best neighborhood spot in town! Not to mention the service is 10/10. Chris gave us service only matched by the quality of the spritzes. He was so pleasant, accommodating, and funny! We really appreciate the hospitality of the WeHo Palihouse!

Yelp
Amazing location, very professional staff, attention to details we had such a pleasant stay! Will be back and will recommend friends! Thank you, Palihouse team

Yelp
Came in for cocktails. The staff was just off. Cocktails were meh- tasted like water. Maybe just an off night.

Yelp
This hotel has a great intimate lounge for you to have some drinks and bites. There's also a sushi bar upstairs where you can enjoy good food. There's also brunch on certain days. The whole place has a feeling of a luxury coastal home yet casual modern chic. Beautifully decorated, with different areas you can choose from that will make you feel comfortable as you lounge with friends. Service was very good, friendly and professional. This is a nice new spot in town that is worth coming back to.

Yelp
Just left this place after being there all of about 5 mins. Me and my fiance have been excited to try this place out for happy hour, so decided to come today (a Monday). Their site and IG both state that HH is DAILY. The entire restaurant is completely empty on a Monday at 5pm and we sit at the bar. The waitress gives us two regular menus and I ask "are you guys no longer doing happy hour?" And she responds with "'not on Monday, it's the only day we don't do HH" which is odd, since it's marketed that it's daily. It felt really off putting and honestly like an outright lie. She comes back and asks if we're ready to order and we say we're actually going to head out and she goes "I understand", which I feel like is even more condescending. We're not broke and we felt like we were treated as if we were preemptive and that's why we weren't served HH menus. The BEST part is that as we're leaving we notice three little menus that they have posted on the hostess desk at the front and wouldn't you know it one of them is a happy hour menu (that also mentions DAILY). Strange how there's no HH on Monday's but yet you guys put a menu on display that day for HH. I was SO excited to try this place as it's walking distance from our place, but unfortunately the way we were treated and lied to, has left such a sour taste in our mouths and now we'll never back. If you're looking to enjoy their happy hour just make sure you don't go on a "Monday".

Yelp
Really enjoyed my stay here! A new spot in West Hollywood with a great style and vibe without any pretensions. The bar downstairs was the first hotel feature to catch my eye but it wasn't all style it was a lot substance as well. Tried quite a few cocktails on the menu and they were a good, a rare feat. The citrus marinated olives with New Zealand Antipodes sparkling water is a great addition to your cocktail(s). There was a bit of a snafu with the booking at checkout but they got it all worked out so alls well that ends well. The neighborhood is really safe and the hotel is near a ton of great eateries and a shopping center, centrally located to needs and wants. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
My fiancé and I discovered a cute, whimsical hotel with happy hour offerings in West Hollywood called Palihouse. Forest green and deep orange décor, a European vibe, and checkered walls behind a dimly lit bar welcomed us as we stepped into the encapsulating indoor/outdoor space. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in LA who loves an eclectic experience with unmatched service, great music, and delicious food including sushi and pizza, my new favorite combination.

A B.

Yelp
Nice space, good happy hour! I wish they allowed vegetarian patties for the burger though.

Yelp
Recently stayed here while visiting a friend and I can honestly say it was one of my favorite hotels. First you'll be greeted by the kindest staff at the front desk. They go out of your way to answer any of your questions and make you feel at home. Then there is the decor. They have done the perfect blend of retro and modern that gives the place a unique and fresh feel. Next the rooms are wonderful with the most comfy bed. The night I arrived was disco night but in my room I couldn't hear a thing and slept like a baby. Finally the pool is the icing on the cake. I loved being able to swim and just relax by it. Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat and you should too.

Yelp
In one stay, became my favorite hotel in LA. If you're looking for a gorgeous, peaceful boutique hotel that feels like an escape from west hollywood, look no further. The service from staff (Kate at the front desk especially and the amazing late night team in the restaurant and bar that fed me in a moment of need despite the kitchen being closed) was impeccable, the food was fantastic, and the rooms were lovely. My back is very sensitive and I had a wonderful sleep in the comfy bed with great pillows. My room also had an excellent, comfortable table set up for working. This is the only place I'll be staying moving forward!

Yelp
Booked a balcony room to celebrate my anniversary. When we got into the room there was no balcony. Returned to the front desk and were told the air conditioning was not working and no balcony rooms were available. I was not told of the issue in advance or even when checking in. The hotel is run down, full of decor that appears to be sourced from various goodwills and carpeting reminiscent of cheap Atlantic City casinos. Even the room that allegedly still had air conditioning was too hot to sleep comfortably and too small to really enjoy despite the additional "resort" fees tacked on at will. Good luck trying to talk to a manager. They are never on duty and don't return phone calls or emails. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Yelp
Me and my partner went to Pali House this past Saturday and it just so happened to be the Drag Brunch which was incredible but the service not so much. We sat at the bar and initially we were greeted by the tall gentleman with all the rings and he was very nice but soon after we got someone else who was not friendly at all. Seems he could have been from the east coast but I don't care where your from you should still have good hospitality working in hospitality. He came up to us and literally just looked at us. Like...Well are you gonna order, I don't have all day. He didn't check on us once and we noticed that he greeted everyone else. Although this shouldn't matter me and my partner are african american. Jeez it's so sad I have to mention that but I don't get why he was so rude to us. Especially when we saw him be friendly with other guests. It's funny because his drinks were incredible he just wasn't. With him not checking on us there was a woman who asked if we needed anything else (thankfully) and we ordered another round because we were still trying to be optimistic but yeah terrible experience.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Amazing renovation job! Most thoughtful restaurant servers. Charming patio and maximized pool area. Happy hour vegan impossible burger ($11) with ideal bun to filling ratio 3-6pm including weekends.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Great location. Could walk to the liquor store and coffee shop and the pizza place was open after hrs. Ambiance is very cute as well with a great bar and roof pool.

Maday E.

Yelp
Absolutely loved Kayleen and Benjamin at the bar they were so sweet and such a fun vibe! I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We were walking by yesterday and had to stop in to check it out. We were immediately greeted by the bartender, Elliot, who basically sold us on stopping in for an afternoon drink. He made the place for us. He was super passionate about the cocktails and how they're made and was great at promoting the location for us to come back in the future. Because of him, we will definitely come back with more friends in the future! Also, Happy Hour bar menu is really good bang for your buck!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service - we were not rushed by any means and our servers were attentive without being imposing. Decor and ambiance are on point - it's cozy, trendy, and perfect for a date. Food was decent - got the tuna tartare, seared salmon and salmon nigiri, burger, and fried rice. Fried rice is a must. I would still be happy to come back for the environment. Music was pretty solid and not too loud.

J T.

Yelp
Lovely, comfortable hotel in trendy area of LA. Trendy decor and a nice restaurant and bar.

Webb C.

Yelp
I just want to say "Thank You!" to all the staff at this location! We came because my daughter was having surgery at Cedars-Sinai. There were some last minute changes as to whether the surgery would even happen and the staff were so great to accommodate us and allow us a late check out or extend our stay depending on what we found out. They were attentive to our needs and the Valet team was excellent and so helpful each time we had to load or unload. A special shout out to Andre at the front desk for all he did to help and for just being a genuinely great employee who cares about his guests and serves with excellence!! The rooms are adorable and the food is great too! I look forward to coming back for a vacation next time! Thank you Palihouse!!

Susan G.

Yelp
Great hotel! Service was wonderful. The front lobby could use better air conditioning; I felt bad for the front desk staff. The location is fabulous. Lots to eat in the immediate area and walkable to the Original Farmer's Market.

Jenn G.

Yelp
The atmosphere is great- service and experience is a different story. I arrived well before check in and didn't expect a room that early. They gave me a key to the pool area to wait and held my luggage, which was so nice! I got lunch at the bar, after sitting there for 10 minutes without anyone speaking to me. Avocado toast was delicious! (Over my week stay I visited the bar area a handful of times and only had good service once.) Left, came back to the hotel just after check-in and still no room ready for me!? another 45 later and I finally had a room. I was there for a week and don't usually have my room cleaned much, however after using all the caffeinated coffee pods I requested more be dropped off after I left for work. A giant bag of pods was left in my room (without any extra sugar...), and whomever dropped off the coffee- took all my towels except 1 washcloth!! They were hanging up as I was going to reuse them- but ended up having to ask for towels since none were replenished- and I never wanted my room serviced.

A. F.

Yelp
This is a favorite establishment and has proven to really care about their patrons, neighbors and regulars. I LOVE everyone there. The new menu is excellent. Try the Parisian Smash burger and you'll crave it forevermore. Besitos to Palihouse and it's beautiful staff. Will miss a certain manager (you know who you are)
google avatar

Peixin M.

Yelp
Came for drinks only and sat at the bar. The space is absolutely beautiful and new. Love the high and colorful ceilings. Drinks were fairly good too. It was empty when I came, and I feel like more people more bustle would make this place more fun.
google avatar

Ralph K.

Yelp
Why am I making my bed when I get to our room? Because there are no sheets on the bed so I go to the front desk and ask for sheets and I all I get is a duvet cover. SMH. Want to use the restroom here? You might as well invite everyone in with you since the door is glass and you can see right through it. This place is weak
google avatar

Nikki D.

Yelp
Excellent sushi and Waygu the chicken wings are bomb a sweet spicy flavor. It's just upstairs in the lobby of the hotel. The service is fantastic as well!

Hannah G.

Yelp
This place is a gem. They have the best happy hour in WEHO and host Sean is an absolute joy to be around. The folks who work here are authentic and kind. Also the sushi is next level good

Marcie M.

Yelp
Literally one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Great room, super clean, great hair dryer !! , great linens and pillows, mattress and products. The staff (front desk and valet) couldn't have been any nicer ! The lobby and bar area is charming. I'm telling you this is a GEM !!! I wished i'd been staying more than one night. I am wild about it and am already telling my friends in LA to recommend it to visitors.

Yelp
Very English like hotel, similar to soho house. Cute restaurant inside. New location close to everything!!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice Atmosphere with a Very nice wait staff. The Outside Patio is Very Safe & the cocktails are great!! I would check this plaace out if I were YOU! ( a Bit pricey but I think it's worth it)! Live it up & Treat yourself Well!

Yelp
Loved the ambiance! Elliot provided me with great customer service. Space is clean and charming. Great ambiance music. Easy parking. Doorman was welcoming and professional. Wait staff was warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Nice menu! Went back another night and Anastasia provided me with excellent customer service. She was kind, professional and informative!

Nicole J.

Yelp
Well appointed and cute rooms. Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Jae and Jazmin really made us feel a welcome.

Yelp
Terrible experience at the restaurant. Sean B was my server and he was extremely rude from the moment we walked in. We were unclear about seating and asked for clarification. He sarcastically snapped, "remember the thing I said before?? Do THAT." I ignored him and went to find a table. He came to our table talking so fast I could barely understand him. I asked if I could order a drink and he aggressively yelled "NO" with no explanation. He said things were "a mess" and that the manager was behind the bar serving drinks to try and help. I thought maybe he was joking and I said to him that he was being a little aggressive. He apologized and said he was a "Virgo" and we tried to just laugh it off and be cool and enjoy our evening. After he brought our food, he never came back to our table again to check on us. When he brought the check he slammed it down on the table and literally didn't even look at us or say anything. I was actually in shock. What warranted this type of treatment? I know how hard it is working in service but his behavior was beyond unacceptable. I would not recommend this place and I will never come back here!

Susan R.

Yelp
Love this place! We have often stayed at the Pali House in Santa Monica, and we've always had a great experience. Our expectations were high, and this West Hollywood outpost did not disappoint. Great staff throughout, large, airy, comfortable room, and yummy food and welcoming atmosphere in the cafe. A perfect getaway spot!

Yelp
Omgg this my first time In Palihouse I have been in other high end restaurants or bars this definitely not one them a happy hour is the scam hours save your money and get better service in other nice place than thiss. I would definitely do not recommend ithis anybody unless you want to experience it yourself

Colleen B.

Yelp
I come here every Saturday AM and always have the most amazing experience because of the whole vibe but mostly because the service is excellent. We always have Tolga as our server and he is phenomenal. 10/10!!!

Elena R.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would. The amount of unprofessionalism is beyond me. A very ignorant older/younger waitress was completely rude to my family and I upon our first interaction. Extremely condescending tone and horrible hospitality. The brief experience was extremely disappointing.

Kenneth M.

Yelp
We couldnt of had the worst hotel room and hotel service. My wife and I came here to enjoy our anniversary and as soon as we get here the front desk lady was being super rude. we get our hotel room and the room is over crowded and bathroom is so small you cant even be comfortable in it. The room we got is directly in front of a construction site. Where they are banging and driving the telehandlers from 6AM the whole weekend, even on Sunday. if you want a peacful, relaxing stay do not stay here. I dont even ever write reviews but i had to for this experience. I wouldve rather stayed at a motel 6.

Anya R.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem, awesome ambiance and decorated so cute! We will definitely be back- especially because the cocktails and service from the charming and knowledgeable bartender Eliott are outstanding!!!

Karla V.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend! Shoutout to my server Jesus excellent service! Will definitely be coming back again!

Ashley E.

Yelp
Have been to the hotel twice now to check it out as I live in the neighborhood and need a spot to recommended to family/friends when they visit. I haven't seen the rooms or tried the food but on both of my visits the hotel main areas were extremely clean and beautifully decorated! Everyone greats you with a smile, is informative, and helpful! Special shout out to the Food and Beverage manager Scott who has gone out of his way to be helpful and accommodating! Excited to go back for the restaurants!
