"Hoagie lovers head to Pallante’s Italian Deli in Richboro for its full menu of seeded bread sandwiches available in three sizes. A variety of zesty Italian-style hoagies, such as offerings topped with long hots and roasted peppers, rival the classics, including the ham and cheese and the American hoagie, at this Bucks County restaurant. For vegetarians and vegetable fans in general, the veggie hoagie featuring eggplant, roasted peppers, broccoli rabe, and sharp provolone is an excellent meal option." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Truly a local gem. Philly sports memorabilia all across the wall and an old-school vibe. Most importantly: The best sandwiches in Bucks County. Get the original Italian - you won't regret it. Great bread, well-balanced toppings, super friendly staff.

Yvonne Harris

Google
Friendly staff first time here loved that but now far as the hoagie or if you call them subs i didn’t know they used seeded rolls I hate them I asked for extra Mayo didn’t get it bread tough very dry unappetizing the meat is good quality I might go back to give them another chance but maybe a sandwich and not a hoagie

Jim “The Cheesesteak Guy” Pappas

Google
High quality cheesesteak. I went off the menu and got a cheesesteak with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. I may stop doing this. The broccoli rabe and sharp provolone added great flavor to this cheesesteak. They do make their own broccoli rabe. Guest eater Dan got a Cheesesteak with fried onions and american cheese. I missed out on their american cheese melting ability. Nice roll.

Google
This place is awesome! Great Italian hoagies and amazing chicken cutlets with long hots. I highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t yet. It’s the best within 15 miles of Richboro!

Jamie Wiley

Google
I love the hoagies at this place. So many options and I have ordered Hoagie trays from here on so many occasions. I love the quality of the food and we always get compliments on how great the hoagies taste. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a delicious Hoagie tray for any event.

Joe Hogan

Google
Best sandwiches around. Chicken cutlet Pallante a must try.

Josh Mindlin

Google
The Original Italian is one of the best hoagies I've ever had

Google
I just picked up over $300 worth of food including the extra extra large hoagie tray they don’t give you any mayonnaise or oil on the side they don’t give you any peppers on the side everything is an extra after spending all that money and it would come on my hoagie anyway. They don’t help you carry it to your car just not a good spot so far hope the food is better than this Customer Service.

Yelp
This little place is the best. It's consistently good. Love their tomato pie and all of the bread. I am never disappointed.

Miguel S.

Yelp
Best in the area! Italian hoagie and chicken cutlet Pallante were top notch! Many other things I've yet to try but very impressed so far.

Matt S.

Yelp
Has always been a favorite. However, when they get backed up, they stop taking orders on the phone, on the website, and for walk-in. They only accepted orders that had pick up, but when you can call or order online you can't get through and therefore can't get food. Not good hospitality.

Patricia H.

Yelp
I stopped in today to try the hot roast pork sandwich with provolone. The pork was full of flavor, very juicy with a nice roll! The order came out quickly. So glad I found this place. I will be back.

Laura W.

Yelp
Delicious old school Italian Deli! We had a delicious cheesesteak with sautéed mushrooms and onions, roast pork with broccoli rabe and mushrooms , and plain cheese pizza. Everything from the bread to the meat was fresh. The pizza crust was too heavy but the cheese is high quality and tasty. I'd love to order from here again!

David D.

Yelp
Awesome old school Italian deli and sandwich shop. Everyone loved their cheesesteaks Italian hoagies tuna subs. Salads are a bit b level but the rolls they use on their sandwiches are the obvious focus and especially good quality. Like the opposite of the subway over manufactured taste. Online ordering was a breeze despite the potentially overly long menu and our orders are always ready promptly. The staff is pleasant and they sell additional items in case you forget to pick up a 2-liter et al

Angela M.

Yelp
Love their hoagies! Best in the area. Closed on Mondays. Try their salads and long hots too.

Scott M.

Yelp
This is a great Italian sandwich spot. Everything from the hoagies to hot roast pork and hot roast beef are delicious. I highly recommend this spot, but check there website to see if they are open, since they have crazy hours.

James P.

Yelp
Grab a slice of the tomato pie while you wait for your sandwich. The roast pork with the broccoli rabe is as good as John's in Philly. Has the gravy that I got on the side to make it wet. This place is takeout only, old school and worth a trip from anywhere.

Don T.

Yelp
Excellent food and overall nice people. The food is fresh and nice size portions. From pizza to sandwiches. Also their catering is awesome.

Yelp
Palantes Italian Deli is a first rate small shop loaded to the gills with specialties from the Boot. They offer house made meats and pasta trays, as well as smoked meats from the old country. Think of it as a mini DiBruno's, and you get an idea of what is going on in there. Just too bad it isn't larger so that it could show more delectables. Too, it would be great to have a seating area and mange what they turn out right on the premises. We stopped in for lunch earlier in the week. I ordered an eggplant parm sandwich, which was excellent from crusty sesame loaf down to the well double fried nightshade and mildly tart red sauce. My companion ordered a personal size pizza with sausage. That disc left my car with a pleasant aroma for days afterwards. Will be returning for one of those babies. Staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Prices were fair, but it is hard to walk away with just a sandwich when the shelves are full of interesting and tasty snacks and side dish possibilities. Palantes is almost too good for the neighborhood, yet with Richboro Coffee right next door, the opportunity to trade off each other presents several excellent choices for nosh and java combos. Wonder if the coffee vendor would permit someone to enjoy a tasty repast at their small sitting area and make the world a better place for everyone? I would definitely sign up for that!

Yelp
I love searching for good tasty delicious pizza and at Pallante's Italian Deli there is one of the best. Don't be confused by the small deli atmosphere with so many Italian delights, there is a pizza oven there making excellent my favorite Tomato Pie.... An upside down version (cheese on bottom, sauce on top); the crust makes it a firm pie, no flopping pieces when you pick it up to eat - sweet tomato sauce gives it the awesome taste. This combo of ingredients will keep me coming back for more. Now with all fairness Pallante's also has an array of great gourmet sandwiches and Italian products. Try the tomato pie - I will enjoy a slice for you if you do the same.... Onward to the next one... Ciao

Daphne F.

Yelp
The food wonderful and they offer good service. The old fashioned tomato pie is the best!

Rosana R.

Yelp
We've only tried their tomato pie and we absolutely loved it! My youngest daughter is not a pizza lover, but if it's from Pallante's, she'll devour it. Best tomato pie in the area!

dave s.

Yelp
First time was pretty good. Enough to plan my return visit. tonight I Ordered a chick cutlet hoagie. I didn't specify any dressing and they didn't ask. and it came dry which was a bummer but nothing that I couldn't fix at home with Mayo. The extra dry chicken however couldn't be fixed. Also only part of the staff was masked up. Which is totally disappointing Cmon people , your around food All day. I guess the owner cares more about making a political point then keeping his customers safe. Grow up! . Won't be back.

Lawrence F.

Yelp
Always Always Good Take out from there a minimum of twice a week The staff is Great The owner Isack is always great My go to place! Get a triple threat and you won't be sorry Nothing comparable in Richboro for authentic Italian specialty Hoagies and Sandwiches and Great Tomato pie !

Kevin L.

Yelp
Stop, skimping on the meat for you sandwiches! Raise the prices if you need to but don't screw with the quality.

Sherri S.

Yelp
Wonderful Italian deli! Amazing food and great staff! The only downside is that they close earlier than I would like and that limits me from ordering as much as I would like. Highly recommend!

Melanie M.

Yelp
Great sandwiches & deli trays available! Small mom & pop local business that deserves local attention!

David W.

Yelp
Outstanding deli meats, including homemade Turkey and roast beef. Great breads, sauces, cheeses, and other high quality genuine Italian American food products. The sandwiches, pizza, and other goodies are outstanding.

Al H.

Yelp
Amazing sandwiches. The 1/2 is huge and a full is several days worth! Always fresh rolls and ingredients.

Nicole Q.

Yelp
This should be your go to stop in the area for great Italian takeout sandwiches and italian market items! The hot roast pork italiano is Amazing! Great small business!

Hello K.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza place in Bucks County, and I grew up in NYC eating the best NY slices. Pallentes' traditional pizza is actually very similar to NY style pizzas, but our family's favorite is the Old Fashion Tomato Pie with mozzarella cheese and basil! If you are having a party, this is the best pizza to get as they serve well in room temperature without the need to reheat. In fact, the first time i tried their square pizzas was at a party maybe ten or so years ago and we've been hooked since! We can't seem to get enough of it. One time we brought home our favorite pies in anticipation and when we opened our car hatch, the pizza box slid out and crashed onto the driveway. We were heartbroken that we had to throw out a whole Old Fashioned square pie- none of it was salvageable- believe me, we checked! At least we still had the traditional pie intact! Their cheesesteaks are great and their hoagies are also the very best especially as the Italian bread they use is so fresh and has a great crisp bite!

Steven P.

Yelp
Great Italian takeout- old school selection. Fun visit and good selection. Great Bread!!!

Clay G.

Yelp
Perhaps the best hoagies in Bucks County. Have ordered a variety is hoagies, and have been very pleased with the quality and authenticity. The Stocks pound cake is an added bonus.

Brian M.

Yelp
Awesome place. Sandwiches. Pizzas. Tomato pies are amazing. Great for parties. Go!

Michael C.

Yelp
Best Sandwiches around! Pros: -Meat/cheese quality. -Sandwich Variety. -Simple Italian. Cons: -Bread tastes off some days. -Prices on the higher side. -Store size.

Steven J.

Yelp
I try and try to explain to anyone and everyone what a REAL hoagie is. And sadly now that I'm 3 plus hours away, I'm in the black hole of good bread. There's quality meats everywhere? Why is it that no other part of the country can get the bread right! I happened to be in the area. My buddy stopped by and picked up a couple Italian hoagies. I drove around a golf course for about 12 holes and finally decided to open up that beautiful white paper. Inside. Perfection. Perfect bread. The right amount of meat. I finished a half a hoagie before I got to the green to hit my putt. I did have to wait to finish the rest because the oil on my fingers caused me to lose my grip and hit my tee shot about 12 feet, but I can't really blame Pallantes for that or can I? My title for this review, "AS GOOD AS IT GETS."

Tom D.

Yelp
Very friendly, genuine Italian deli. The owner, Isaac, often greeting customers personally with their first name. Never disappointed in any order we've taken home or has traveled with us to the shore or local parks.

Dan W.

Yelp
One of the best Italian Deli's around. We tried the tomato pie with pepperoni and a couple of hoagies. We eat a lot of pizza but this has now gone to the top of the list. The hoagies are on fantastic bread with perfect portions of fresh deli meat and cheese. We ordered everything online and it was ready on time and prepared as ordered. We will definitely be back. Excellent food!!!

Debby H.

Yelp
Holy cow! I stopped in and got a small Italian roast pork with broccoli rabe & sharp provolone no long hots, a slice of stocks pound cake to try & 2 slices of round pizza. The sandwich was a perfect 10 crisp bread & juicy pork and still warm after driving 30 minutes. The cake was good & the pizza delicious. I found my perfect deli

Kimberly R.

Yelp
Veggie hoagie is so delicious!!! I always bring this when visiting friends and is always a hit!!!

Jason M.

Yelp
I was working in the attic, this leaves me with the desire for a cheesesteak. Fried onions. Mushrooms. American cheese. I have been to the greats: Gino's is better than Pat's, Jim's leaves them both in the dust. Until now. This. Was. The. Best. Cheesesteak. I. Have. Ever. Had.

Lee Z.

Yelp
There's a reason this place has all 5 star reviews. This is the holy grail of delis. Both our hoagies were WOW ! My husband had the, "Louie." Roast beef, turkey & ham hoagie. He devoured it. I had low salt turkey with roasted red peppers. It was inhaled. As if that wasn't enough, I brought home a tomato pie. Another home run. Staff was really friendly, we'll find our way here at least once a week from now on....

Kristin W.

Yelp
The rolls, the cutlets, the provolone. All amazing! Tomato pies are delish. Great place, Great menu.

Samantha R.

Yelp
Great sandwiches! I recommend this deli to everyone. My only complaint since COVID is the reduced hours but I understand that it is hard to hire people these days.

Bob B.

Yelp
Moved up here 2,years ago and finally found a good pizza . Sandwiches are very good also. Best pies around bar none!!!!!

Tony O.

Yelp
This place is one of a kind. Amazing italian sandwiches in the suburbs. You will swear you picked this up in south Philly for sure. The long hot peppers make every sandwich just a little better. Every time I order I try something new. The staff is awesome and always inviting. I could eat here every day.

Paul R.

Yelp
This place has hands down the best hot italian roast pork sandwhich I have ever had and I am a connoisseur.

Lindsay B.

Yelp
They don't make customers wear masks. Woman behind the counter also left her mask hanging from her ear and never made any attempt to fix it to cover her mouth/nose.

John S.

Yelp
bought an italian hoagie at pallante's deli. roll was stale. on the ' hoagie ' were 2 pieces of ham, 2 pieces of salami, & 2 pieces of cheese. thin flat tomatoe slices, lettuce, & hard to chew onions. tried all the hoagies in richboro, and this was the worst. had to add meat from my refridg. where the good reviews came from i do not know. must be relatives. spoke to the owner, who seemed to not really care. no offer from him to make it right. very disappointed. will never return. the cost of the hoagie was $9.00. that's more than any other hoagie location in richboro. stay far away from this vastly over rated deli.

Denise G.

Yelp
Our family loves their square pizza with fresh mozzarella and basil...try it! The crust is then and delicious too. Their sauce is amazing!

Jim G.

Yelp
Always delicious, always friendly! Amazing deli sandwiches and if you like tomato pie, this is your place!

Ketchup Love R.

Yelp
Time for an update. I don't know where we went wrong before, but Pallante's has won me over. Sandwiches have been excellent, we've used them quite a bit for catering and each time they go above and beyond, and the pizza is the best in Richboro. I just wish they were open a little later on weekends so I could get the pizza for dinner.

Mark B.

Yelp
Tried them twice because of the reviews. Had a turkey hoagie that was very good. Tried a sausage and pepper sandwich (a favorite of mine) and had to throw it away. I seriously think the meat may have been bad. This weekend I went for the turkey hoagie again and the meat was definitely not fresh. So disappointing, won't be back.

Steve B.

Yelp
Read the yelp reviews and wanted to try the pizza. Tiny deli serving sandwiches, pizza and Italian deli fare. The cheese on the bottom pizza was good, exceptional sauce. Friendly staff.

Ancy M.

Yelp
We get sandwiches from here! They are good! I've done the meatball parm and it was delicious! My husband and I will get one to share! I got the chicken cutlet and I wasn't a fan! Looking forward to trying more!

Cynthia F.

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious! My coworkers recommended I give them a try and boy am I glad I did. Their sandwiches are so good! The rolls are perfect. Being from Philly that is very important to me and they nailed it! They also sell Stocks pound cake!!! Yum!

Norum C.

Yelp
Read the reviews carefully about this place. ALL recent reviews are negative. It's a shame that the new owner can't get it right, but there are plenty of other hoagie shops in Richboro that do. Try one of those instead.
