Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill is absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, and the service was amazing—shoutout to Bella for being such a wonderful host! The location is perfect, right by the beach, with breathtaking views that make the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're looking to relax with a meal or soak in the beautiful surroundings, this place has it all. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Food here is extremely good. I dined in for lunch and had grilled shrimp, scallops and blackened grouper. They are by far the best seafood I ever ate in the US. ❤️😋 On the drinks menu, I had “chunky monkey”. It was again the best cocktail I ever had. 🙂 the flavors of bourbon, sour cream and cherries blended well which is the highlight of this drink. I highly recommend this place. ❤️❤️

Google
If you want a beach joint with drinks, food, and a view, this is your place. It is very casual from the walk off the beach. Some days have acoustic while dining. There is an air conditioned room, but the other areas are open to the outdoors. Must have a shirt and shoes to enter. The staff is fun and pleasant. The fun cocktails and frozen drinks are fun and beachy. They offer skinny varieties too. The fish tacos were good portioned and tasty with fresh ingredients. The Grouper sandwich was very fresh and the fries were crispy! If you want the view and atmosphere, with good food, you will be happy!

Google
Beautiful beachfront location - literally steps away from the sand. Can’t beat the view! Our server Cat was awesome - very friendly and attentive and brought drink refills, etc. For $20/person plus parking, food was average - nothing special. I’m an avid ice tea drinker and the tea here had zero taste whatever, as though it was watered down - even though I intentionally didn’t have ice - very odd.

Google
An excellent local restaurant on the beach! We went to watch the sunset and it was perfect from their outdoor seating area. Not only was the view great but the food was really good and the service was friendly. I look forward to returning to this place in the future.

Google
Love to stop in at Palm Pavilion to enjoy some cold drinks while overlooking the beach while listening to a live band! Does it get any better than that⁉️ The food is delicious here also! Fresh seafood to burgers and everything in between!

Google
The Palm Pavilion is where it's at! Just steps off the beach, this super casual spot feels just like being on vacation. The patio has an amazing view of the beach. Their drinks are awesome - love the frozen options! Service is great too. Highly recommend!

Google
Really enjoyed dinner here - got a table outside and saw the beautiful sunset. Beach bowl with shrimp was so yummy! Drinks were strong and a great price/size. Live music was nice as well, def recommend checking it out

Yelp
We love Palm Pavilion, as you can see from my prior reviews. My wife prefers them over other spots on the beach, so when we wanted to grab a bit and see the sunset this past weekend, it was a no-brainer. Even though it was a Saturday and crowded, a table for 2 on the patio an hour before sunset was only a 15 minute wait! We were seated a little more than half-way down the patio and at a table on the wall. When we asked a passing team member if we could be moved to one of the open tables along the railing, at first there was push-back ("We have a long wait list at the moment."), which seemed weird since we had just been seated. But within a couple minutes the manager came over (we didn't complain or even ask for them, it was just nice to see they took the initiative) and moved us to one of those open tables. Thank you!!! Marissa was our server and did an AMAZING job keeping our drinks refreshed and checking on us. My wife got the burger which looked amazing and she loved, and I branched out and got a Cuban. The flavor was good, but the sandwich itself was a bit underwhelming... maybe an 8" portion, and there were only two thin slices each of the ham, salami, and pork shoulder, leaving the sandwich mostly bread. I wouldn't order this sandwich again, especially at that price point knowing the burgers are so much bigger. Our only other complaint was the music being very loud, even though we were a good enough distance away -- is that something musicians or management controls? The band (Sticks & Stones) was great, right music for the beach vibe, just too loud to be able to have a nice talk in that setting. The waitress did say the menu is being worked on currently, but I'd love to see the fried clam strips make a return!

Yelp
So I decided to give this place another try, as promised. I think it's been a couple of months since I've come here. Last time I think was around maybe Spring Break season? This time I decided to visit on the final day of June 2025, which was stormy, so it was a lighter crowd this time which was nice. I started off with a Cherry Coke, and I noticed they do something that's actually a really neat; they actually pour in cherry syrup from the bar (non-alcoholic, not to worry) to make cherry coke for their customers, and then they add 3 cherries on a pick for garnish; That was actually a cool old-school twist and it was a nice touch! Props to Murphy for that, seriously. I decided to try something that wasn't the so-called "best burger on the beach"; yeah, I...won't be over that for a while. I decided to go for the Coconut Shrimp Basket with Island fries, since a seafood main course was something I never touched upon. It wasn't really anything special, but it was okay. I will admit that using an orange sauce instead of the traditional pineapple sauce most places use was a bad idea on the restaurant's part but I guess that cannot be helped. Still not impressed, but I'm not ready to give up on this place just yet. Overall, it was much better this time. I'm gonna continue to try more of their seafood outside of the baskets and see if maybe there's something that'll really hit the spot. I may give their "El Cubano" sandwich I'll try next visit since it seems to be recommended... I'm not entirely ready to let one burger sour my experience with the handhelds in this restaurant.

Yelp
Cannot beat the sunset views of this place. Had the blackened grouper sandwich which was among my favorite in a week of exploring Tampa and Sarasota. The live music was definitely too loud for the atmosphere though. Would have enjoyed it if we could have still carried a conversation but it was really loud.

Yelp
The vibes here are VIBING. Perfect beach view with a big menu. The guac was excellent with just a touch of spice. I tried a fish taco and a chicken taco and preferred the chicken over the fish. My friend got the mini cheeseburger sliders and said they were really good. Our waitress was friendly but a bit slow - just gave us more time to enjoy the views! Good beach day break spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Best restaurant in Clearwater! The outdoor seating here is so great with the view and live music. The service is great and food comes so quickly. The food .. to die for! We came here multiple times in our week trip because of how great it was.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place, I love the vibe and awesome views. We stay close by when we visit (at the Palm Pavilion hotel) so we stop in here often...sometimes to grab a quick bite and often to have a drink. They have the BEST drinks on the beach! Wishing them all the best after getting hit by the hurricane and hopefully seeing you next year!

Erika S.

Yelp
I don't recommend this place. The bar doesn't have good drinks, they're all too sweet, and everything is way too greasy. The atmosphere is boring, and the food has no flavor--just pure grease. Come here only if you want to end up with diabetes and high cholesterol.
google avatar

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this place. The location is fantastic and really seems to be what keeps it popular. Every time we have been, they have live music as well. The food is generally okay--I usually go for the blackened island mahi mahi, which has good flavor and a decent portion size. We tried the nachos on a previous visit and loved them, but this time they fell flat. We did add steak, though, and the portion was generous. The drinks are overly sugary, almost to the point of being undrinkable. It's best to stick with basic options like a skinny margarita, Tito's with soda, or beer, as the specialty drinks are overly sweet and seem to lack alcohol. The service is consistently good, and although it's usually busy, the large space almost always has a table available. The restaurant is entirely outdoors, including the "indoor" seating, which isn't air-conditioned, so you won't escape the heat. I really feel for the employees. I'd recommend this spot mainly for the location, but don't go in expecting a perfect experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Sooooo......the burger was really good and my margarita was excellent. My issue here was with the bar staff. All were very nice but not good at good service. They never once refilled my water glass and we were there from 7pm until 845pm. My wife order a drink, the bartender said coming right up and it never came. Had to ask 2 more times to finally get it. I'm still waiting for the cup of coffee I ordered ‍. Again, they were very nice and full of smiles but lack in the service piece.
google avatar

Amarilis R.

Yelp
This is definitely the perfect place to go after the beach or you're just not quite sure what to eat. I've been craving nachos for the longest time and my gosh did these nachos fulfill my cravings! Javi our waiter was super nice and gave us great drink recommendations. He was full with bright positive spirits. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside. We went at night but I could imagine that during the sunset that the view is beautiful

Yelp
I have been coming to the Palm for years and it is a wonderful tourist spot with great views. There are of course locals that hang out there as there are limited spots on the beach that offer that type of view with such a large bar area and it is far less crowded than other places due to the amount of space they have there so you do not feel like you are crawling over each other just to get to your seat or get up to go to the bathroom. The offer live music throughout the day and night pretty much every day, at least there always has been someone while I have been there. On a hot day, it is great to get out of the sun and get an adult beverage while talking with the bartenders that are always friendly. At least they have been to me. Being a local it is definitely fun to see how small of a town Clearwater is as bartenders around the beach know everyone and everything it seems. Always entertains me. I will say that during my last visit this week I was sad to see that my favorite menu item is no longer on their menu... the crab legs. I know, I know, they have gone up in prize a lot since Covid but damn, it is the beach ya know.

Mike M.

Yelp
We love the Palm pavilion and it's always one of our favorite locations to go to when in Clearwater Beach. Located right on the beach, with a public parking lot nearby. The food is always amazing and the service is great as well! Often times live music out on the deck area to the perfect ambience!
google avatar

Nati A.

Yelp
Delicious cheese burger in paradise?! Yes please!!! The views of the beach are wonderful, the live music is awesome, and the service is great. Loved this place and will return soon.

Yelp
Sandi the Manager was not on site and her comment was complete fairy l tale on June 28 2025 no one expectEd to decorate anything what was expected was courtesy and and professionalism, which was never shown at this Beachside like I said prior review I would avoid this place ,I would recommend Frenchiy Restaurant which is next-door down the beach Manager and service and food at Frenchy much better , as you see by this Sandi and so-called manager, you can see there's no training in this field for them as managers . . They received only one star so I could write the rest of this review from Sandi manager her comment. Go next-door to another place spend your money elsewhere like I was informed by the manager instead of trying zero stars FRENCY has my VOTE !!!

Yelp
Crazy busy here but we only waited about 45 minutes and got to enjoy the gorgeous beach during that wait. Food was pretty good. Typical pub food. We had a few grouper sandwiches, fish tacos, and a chicken sandwich. Drinks were just ok. All were super sweet. I'd go back cuz it had a good vibe and a beautiful view.

Alexa M.

Yelp
The bartenders are so nice and welcoming it was a nice change in scenery and my drinks were fantastic!
google avatar

Hunter A.

Yelp
This place is excellent! The food is fresh, vibes are beachy, and service friendly. Go early for a drink at the bar and then sit on the patio for dinner. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
We had a party of 8 that were celebrating a 21st birthday for our friends' kid whom lives in Ohio. He came to Clearwater to celebrate with his family and friends. His ID expired on midnight of the day we were there, so it wasn't yet expired. They wouldn't serve him even though his ID was still valid. Horrible customer service. We went to several other restaurants and he had no problems.

Yelp
For me, this was an underwhelming experience. But let's start with the positives: the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the beach view was beautiful, and my drink was delightful. The food was fine. It wasn't anything I'd come back for or recommend that someone else "must do" on their itinerary. The best thing was my cup of chowder off the appetizer menu. My tacos were loaded up well but left something to be desired taste-wise. The best ones were the chicken and fish. The chicken needed some seasoning and the r fish taco needed less sauce or slaw. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals more than I did mine. That included the nachos (app menu) with steak added, coconut shrimp, and a slice of key lime pie. I had a virgin mojito and it was perfect. A band set up on the patio while we waited for our food. Once they started up it was way too loud to talk without yelling...and the music wasn't excellent

Kim M.

Yelp
The beach grouper sandwich ....omg. Amazing. The service excellent. The atmosphere is gorgeous . The prices ok for the quality . Serving portions were fine. Live band excellent !! They make the salsa fresh and the grouper is caught daily !!
google avatar

Connie A.

Yelp
Server was very nice (Kay). Grouper was tasty but could use more blacken seasoning. Has a nice view of the beach and sunset.
google avatar

Gene H.

Yelp
First time to visit the Palm Pavilion. Opted for some sandwiches tonight.. The Palm Pavilion Burger and The Key West Chicken Sandwich...both were good choices. The Burger was good sized and had that great classic burger taste...solid. The Chicken was just a tad dry but the sauce that came with it was very good! The standard issue fries were very good fries! Our server Cassidy was on top of things!
google avatar

Michael F.

Yelp
Welcome back to Palm Pavilion @Clearwater Beach! Amazing location with beach views, the friendliest sea gulls, too....watch your food, that's a given for this prime loc! The skinny, spicy margaritas are to die for! We loved the grouper tacos and people watching, as well.
google avatar

Yelp
We love PP and are locals. We came for lunch on Wednesday and the parking attendant would not let us park in the hotel lot even though there were at least 7 spots open ... and we had my 80 year old father-in-law with us. We have NEVER been told we couldn't park there for an hour/hour and half for lunch, especially on a Wednesday. And when we left at 2:15 the lots was even more empty. Was this guy new or just not into customer service?

Jeff P.

Yelp
Amazing! Food fantastic and scenery was unforgettable. Live music. Beautiful views around of sandy beaches. Clean and wide open with seating.
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
Our server Jenna was very nice and attentive! The food was delicious as were the drinks! The view of the sunset was amazing. My new favorite spot!
google avatar

Justin F.

Yelp
Very nice bar restaurant on the beach , stopped in twice while on vacation, fried grouper was very good and their house soup was great, then at end of week I needed meat and the burger was awesome

Victoria W.

Yelp
Visited on our trip to Clearwater after profuse recommendation from driver. We did not eat dinner here but sat at bar for after dinner drinks. They have local and domestic beers, wine, and beach cocktails. Website says "where locals eat" but I wasn't sure. We did sit next to a couple where at least the guy lived locally and we had colorful conversation for an hour. Bartender was sweet and turned away some underage kids trying to drink. Live music and sunset view. The wings the couple next to us had smelled amazing.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
We had such an incredible meal the first time we visited we decided to go back. Our mistake was we ordered something different and were disappointed. The smoked dish dip was like one of those tuna salad kits you buy at the grocery store. My husband ordered the Chicago dog and I ordered their signature burger. The hotdog was okay, but overcooked and dry, not the big juicy frank we were expecting. The burger was bland. I had to salt it, even with bacon and pepperjack cheese on it. I will say the service was great, even the hostess was friendly this time. And the view at sunset is stunning. We sat on the patio and it was a lot of fun with the live music at sunset--great vibe. I would recommend visiting this place but order the wasabi scallops and the cubano!
google avatar

Carolyn H.

Yelp
We asked around trans this was a locals favorite place to be ! Right on the beach with inside and outside seating along with the bar so plenty of room and a great place to watch the sunset! Large parties need all be there if you want to be seated as this place gets busy so heads up. Carlos our server was on point and fun with our large family gathering, thank you for the great service . Food was fresh and all portions were perfect sized everyone enjoyed there meals and left satisfied . Definitely recommend getting there early for a great seat and just relaxing atmosphere See you next time we're in town.
google avatar

Ray N.

Yelp
I visited this place twice in two days. I ordered the same thing both days. On the first day, the mahi-mahi was excellent. Juicy, and very flavorful. On the second day, it was very dry and was not good at all. The place is very busy, The staff is friendly, there is always a short wait . The restrooms are not very clean and that is the biggest reason why they're getting three stars.
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
Beautiful spot for a sunset view and a delicious meal. The food was pretty fresh and had plenty of flavor to satisfy my seafood craving. Although the drinks were alright but the price was pretty good. The service was average and we had to wait about 40 min to get a table. Not bad since it is beach front and we did enjoy the sunset.
google avatar

Becci S.

Yelp
Came on a rainy Saturday to listen to some music and get something to eat. Immediately I will tell you the musician was top notch. I got two different tacos the shrimp and the fish and they did not disappoint. My only complaint is the red wine is kept cold. Guessing it is because it's a beach bar and keeps it from going bad. I just left it sit for a bit. He enjoyed a Turkey sub and a czechered Pilsner which he said was great! Service was decent but we were at the bar so I can't say what table service might be like. The view is perfect. Not much more you could ask for.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Very interesting place on the beach. It's right on the beach. We sat on the porch looking out over the water about 200 yards away. It was right about sunset so it was a beautiful time to be there. My first impression was that it was a loud and noisy bar as we walked in from the southside of the parking lot but we were soon seated at a table looking out towards the water. We ordered Mojito's and rum, runner drinks. The drinks are a little weak not much alcohol. I ordered the Gulf Grill combo. My wife ordered the island tacos and and our guests ordered the grilled mahi. All of our food was delivered with a gorgeous presentation and no one was disappointed. The food is just simply fresh and delicious. Definitely worth another try.
google avatar

Bill J.

Yelp
great view, great service and the food was good as well. had a nice dinner with beers and enjoyed all. Only thing working against this place is parking. we had someone who needed assisted and there were no options.
google avatar

Shelley G.

Yelp
Beach Burger was great, but service was terrible! They brought the wrong orders for half of our party, and tried to talk them into just keeping it.
google avatar

Lee B.

Yelp
Great restaurant right on Clearwater beach with lots of seating so we quickly got a table overlooking the ocean. Our server, TQ, was friendly and attentive. Started with the piping hot grouper cheeks which were flaky with the perfect amount of batter. For my lunch i got the two tacos which come with a side of rice and beans. You're able to select from four choices: chicken , black and blue cheese skirt steak, shrimp or fish. I was expecting small street tacos, but they are double the size and filled! The skirt steak was perfect and tender with avocado and blue cheese and cabbage slaw. The shrimp one wasn't good--Tiny shrimp that tasted fishy. Couldn't eat that one. My bf got the three fish tacos and was happy. The seagulls are a little pesky for you're sitting outside on the deck. They definitely tried to get our grouper cheeks. It was kind of humorous. When I did leave to use the restroom one flew and got some of the shrimp taco I left. Would definitely go back. Perfect break for lunch while spending a day at the beach.
google avatar

Tia F.

Yelp
The Palm Pavilion is a decent beach side restaurant. There is a variety of alcoholic beverages, and a nice selection of beach type food. I didn't order anything too beachy, but it was still very good. The staff is very friendly and kind. The service was quick as well. There is also live music.
google avatar

Lara T.

Yelp
Always my choice for dining down at Clearwater Beach. We had a great experience, our server Cassidy was amazing. They always have great drinks and good specials. Today I was in the mood for a burger and fries, which was fantastic. They have a very nice outdoor shaded patio, very large dining room with a huge bar. They often have live music and they get some of the best artists to perform. The most challenging thing is to find parking, there is a very large public lot right in front of the restaurant but it's also a lot for people to park at the beach so my suggestion would be go early go to the beach and then have a nice lunch.
google avatar

Adrian P.

Yelp
Food is horrible. People are great. Location and view are great. Definitely skip Burger sucked. Grouper bowl was salty, fishy, dry, and old. Rice was cold. Server saw it and immediately knew it was bad. Took it off our bill.
google avatar

Juliet F.

Yelp
The Palm Pavilion is the place to go for everything! Good food, live music, majestic views of the gulf but most importantly the staff is stellar! If you can request Jeff or Nickie you will not be disappointed!

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Highlight of the meal: seared scallops. Totally delicious. Second best: buffalo chicken wings. Kids enjoyed their blended strawberry drinks. Everyone enjoyed the view.
google avatar

Clint S.

Yelp
Solid 4+ star expansion Food - Started with the smoked fish dip and enjoyed the sizable serving with crackers and veggies. Ordered the tacos and the palm grouper sandwich. Had a fish taco, a shrimp taco and the black and blue taco. All three were very good in their own way. I really enjoyed the blue cheese in the steak taco, but would probably say the shrimp was my favorite. The fish sandwich was very good fresh fish with a good coating. Coleslaw was an ok tropical type with pineapple, still trying to get used to the tropical type. Service - was able to get right in, but had slight issues with availability of table. Busy time and some confusion, but all turned out ok. Server was helpful and checked in regularly to make sure everything was good. Slight mixup on order, but made it right immediately. Ambiance - Is a really nice beach setting! Great atmosphere to watch a sunset or just look out on the beach. Definitely recommend for an all around good eating experience.

Yelp
Love this place. My friend brought me here and we had a beautiful time. The bartender was so nice and attentive, also very knowledgeable about the menu. We had chicken nachos which were fresh and delicious, rum runners were great as well as our other drinks, they have music everyday (I loved the jazz/top 40 he played) you can't beat the location which is right on the beach and they have a huge horseshoe bar that inside and outside and is covered from the sun.
google avatar

Tony C.

Yelp
You come here for the atmosphere, the live music, and the sunset. The food is basic beachside fare and recipricates attitude of the staff and patrons. A Clearwater Beach staple!
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Great bar and location. Live music. Reasonably priced for right on the beach. My favorite.
google avatar

Glenn C.

Yelp
Chillin at the Palm. Best margaritas on the beach! Bartender - Michael the man - kicks ass! Very good burgers and grouper bites! Get in here!
google avatar

Barb W.

Yelp
On the plus side, the view is incomparable, the live music (Greg West) was great. However, as I write this, I have a sour taste in my mouth. I was taken here to celebrate my birthday. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, two pricey alcoholic drinks each (four total). I am sure the bill came to $100 or in the vicinity. My friend made it clear it was my birthday (plus there were gifts and a balloon). When the waiter asked if we wanted dessert, I ordered the tuxedo cake. It arrived WITHOUT a candle (we were told they didn't have candles!) and no birthday singing either. Nothing. And surprisingly, the cake was on the bill. I have never been to a restaurant that charges for a birthday dessert, especially when the patrons have spent so much on the rest of the check. Very poor customer service!
google avatar

Rob B.

Yelp
Great beach bar and food. The view is not awful either! Bar service was very quick. We came on a Sunday just before noon and were able to quickly grab seats at the bar. We ordered the tostados app which came out quickly and was really tasty and filling. For our main, we split the three taco selection. My gal and I each had a grouper taco; which were both heavily filled with meat. We ended up taking the third chicken taco home since they were so large. We definitely will be back!
