Palm Suite

"Why book? Bold tropical patterns, tiger statues, and palm-tree lights: a stay at Palm Suite feels like you’re sleeping on the set of Oscar-winning film The Great Beauty. Set the scene. A riot of color, mismatched furniture, and vintage objects, Palm Suite draws a swanky, fashion conscious clientele looking for spacious, boutique residences just steps from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The backstory The building dates back to the 18th century, and feels more like a private residence than a hotel.  The rooms There are five suites set across three floors, each with their own design and vibe. All suites have their own living areas, and striking city views. But it’s the design that people come for: bold, tropical patterns on white walls, and perfectly mismatched cushions propped up against rattan headboards. If you’re looking for cookie-cutter, this isn’t your place. Food and drink There’s no on-site restaurant per se, but guests can visit Michelin-starred rooftop restaurant Aroma at sister hotel Palazzo Manfredi. The experience—overlooking the Colosseum and Roman Forum—is once in a lifetime. Or just go for a cocktail at The Court on the terrace, where the Roman Martini (gin, chamomile, absinthe, laurel and puntarella bitters) is a house favorite.  The neighborhood/area This is one of the most central locations in Rome, with all five of Rome’s major sites—including the Pantheon and the Roman Forum—within a seven-minute walk. The service Personalized and thoughtful; they’re a step ahead and seem to know what you want, before you do." - Maresa Manara

"For all the things there are to love about Rome, its most unique feature has got to be the way the many eras of its thousands of years of history remain standing side by side today. Palm Suite’s setting is a fine example — an 18th-century building containing five colorful, contemporary suites, it’s got views of no less notable a landmark than the Colosseum, and is surrounded by the ancient remnants of the Roman Forum." - Tablet Hotels

This hotel boasts a unique location, just steps away from the Colosseum. We drove there, and the hotel staff promptly provided convenient parking. The service was exceptionally detailed; they even prepared a special cake for my girlfriend. The hotel's cleanliness is top-notch and very professional. Overall, an excellent experience! The only aspect I think needs improvement is the shower in the bathroom. It could be expanded since there is enough space for enhancement, and the shower fixtures could be upgraded to better quality.

The location of this hotel is excellent for getting to most of the historic sites of the city. We easily were able to walk just about everywhere and we loved being in a pedestrian-only zone. That significantly helped in reducing street noise. The accommodations were very nice and the suite was really well appointed for traveling as a family. The staff were also very gracious and helpful. We appreciated being able to order a continental breakfast by room service which was excellent- loved the fresh fruit! I also fell in love with the bath products provided. My favorite part of the hotel location, though, was being able to hear the church bells when they rang.||The only reason that I did not give a full five stars is that the soundproofing between rooms is a little thin. Our first two nights were great but two nights later, we had neighbors that came in super late that kept being very noisy and were quite disruptive - enough so that it woke us up and kept our daughter awake.||Otherwise, our experience was lovely and we’d love to return.

I had the pleasure of staying here a few months ago for a single night.. but I wish I would've stayed longer. The staff were incredibly helpful and were willing to help with even the smallest of requests. The breakfast spread they brought out in the morning was by far the best in-room dining experience I've ever head. The location is rather unbeatable if you're looking to do some sightseeing. If I ever make my way back to Rome I know which hotel I'll be staying at!

We spent two nights in one of the Palm Suites and had a wonderful stay. The location is just perfect, walking distance from the Colossium and just 2/3 minutes from the beautiful Manfredi Palace where you can enjoy the breakfast overlooking the Colossium. Rooms are very spacious, well-designed and clean. Staff very professional and helpfully.

It is our second stay in the "Palm Suites" hotel. We were really pleased to check that it was still as gorgeous as the first time.||The hotel is a small boutique hotel located nearby the Coliseum. Although the area is really (touristically speaking) busy the hotel is in the quiet part of via Colosseo.||The hotel is quite small therefore there isn't a restaurant but when breakfast is included you can either ask for breakfast in room or go to their neighbour hotel “palazzo Manfredi '' to take it. We have tried both options and either of them are equally good.||Rooms are very spacious and very nicely decorated (very cool).||But, what really makes the difference is the staff of the hotel. They are all very nice and amiable. Special mention to Milly that has made us feel at home once again (our daughters that came with us on our first visit still remind of her).||We really hope to have the opportunity to go back to Palm Suites hotel.

Excellent in all respects. Great service, funky yet comfortable rooms, good breakfast and a killer location for seeing the sites of Rome. ||Although there is no restaurant or public areas, there are many good value restaurants nearby. Try and get a table at the court bar in the sister hotel, it was excellent if expensive. ||All in all we loved it and would recommend for couples.

We only stayed one night at this Top location Hotel just a few steps from the beautiful colosseum. This property is quite new and it is in an area you cannot access with a car. Unfortunately I ignored an e-mail from the hotel regarding this and we arrived with a big Van from our trip to Tuscany.. The Lady at the Front desk immediately suggested that I use their sister Hotel Parking (The Manfredi) and everything was fine. The next day we had a Taxi paid by the hotel to take us to our car. The rooms were big and filled with complementary stuff: Water, Juice, Nespresso machine, Tea and later a bottle of Champagne ! Beautifully Designed and very Modern. The bed was perfect, Wi-Fi worked great and the shower is a bit small. Bath amenities are from Ortigia - that’s cool. The Price is very high but in my opinion worth it.

Absolutely gem of a location. Right behind the colosseum but in a quiet back alley. The area is quiet and the hotel has a cute courtyard. The rooms are spacious with a kitchenette. Only thing off is the very small shower. But products, service and amenities were perfect for our short stay in Rome. Would definitely stay here again.
