Best New Restaurants in Dallas July 2025 | Eater Dallas

"One goes out and another goes in — or, hey, there’s yet another new restaurant in Deep Ellum opening where a previously new restaurant, in this case Postino, closed. Now, Omaha’s Flagship Restaurant Group is taking its chance in the neighborhood as of May with a restaurant serving what it describes as Tex-Asian fare. Look for Thai curry fries with chili mayo, banh mi cheesesteaks, a nod to a fast food titan in the KFC Crispy Chicken Sandwich with matcha chile crisp, and Galbi short ribs. In addition to lunch and dinner, Palma will also serve brunch with options including five-spice beignets, chicken tinga chilaquiles, and a kimchi fried rice omelette. Per the press release, this is “the first outpost of Phoenix’s beloved botanical-inspired sanctuary,” so it’s got, you know, plants and light inside." - Courtney E. Smith

Vibrant, Fun, and Delicious – A Whole Experience! My friend and I had such a great time at this spot! From the moment we walked in, the decor gave major Cancun, Mexico vibes — it felt like we were on vacation. Everyone in the restaurant was dressed to impress, making it the perfect place for a girls’ night out or a cute date night. I wish I remembered our waitress’s name because she was amazing! Super friendly, chill, and even helped us film a TikTok — she totally understood the assignment! We were being super indecisive with the menu, but she guided us through it and helped us pick some really delicious dishes. The food was so good. The music was on point, and the seating was super comfortable. Another bonus — when you’re done eating, there’s a nightclub right next door if you’re not ready for the night to end. Great drinks, more good music, and definitely Instagram-worthy spots for pictures. Oh, and the prices? Surprisingly affordable for how nice the whole experience was. We’ll definitely be back!

A perfect place for brunch, I just don’t know how this place is during the hot summers in Dallas 🫠 I’d give this place a solid 3.5, but we gone give it a 4! I came here with a group of 6 for date dayyy, and we had such a good time - it was just HOT 😂 our poor men were sweating, and we had to fight some flies. But that’s what you get when you’re having brunch in Dallas in the summer that’s semi inside/outside. I’m solely basing this review off of the food, decor, and service. Our food was really good. We started off with yummy fries, popcorn chicken, and mimosa bottle service. The yummy fries really shocked all of us, very flavorful. We also really enjoyed the popcorn chicken. The mimosa bottle service - absolutely worth it. For main plates, I ordered the Palma smash burger, and was a fan. I did not share, the burger was yummy and a double patty, just the way I love it. The rest of the group ordered the honey butter crunch french toast and chicken biscuit. I tried the French toast and loved it. We lovedddddd our server. He was so attentive and amazing, and laughed with us. I’d definitely come back here with girl friends, but not during the heat 😂 I’ll be back in the fall!

We came here on a Friday for happy hour and tried the Crab Rangoon, Crunchy Palma sushi, and popcorn chicken. Everything was absolutely GREAT. The ambiance was great, and the staff were super attentive. The only downside was the long wait for a table, so we ended up sitting at the bar. I’d definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan to go during peak hours. Overall, it’s a cute spot. Perfect for a girls night or a date night!

We had a great time at this restaurant! Our server, Valarie, was fantastic—super friendly and helpful with recommendations for both drinks and food. I came with a group of six, and we ordered a variety of items including the sweet potato fries, several types of sushi, the salmon salad, and the curry pasta. Everything was delicious except the curry pasta, which didn’t quite hit the mark for us. The sweet potato fries and the drinks were definitely standouts. The music was a bit loud, but we were dining around 9:30pm, so it might just be part of the evening vibe. One of the most unique parts of the night was the live performance—there was actually someone doing acrobatics on drapes, which added such a cool and unexpected touch to the atmosphere! After dinner, our server Valarie informed us about, the speakeasy, which was also a highlight. The vibe was great, and the bartenders were super engaging, really getting everyone in the mood to enjoy the night. Overall, a fun and memorable experience with great service, good food, and a lively, creative atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

First time trying Palma and it didn’t disappoint! I enjoyed the nice esthetics made you feel like you were on vacation. The staff was friendly. The food and drinks were delicious. They also have a speakeasy in the back and that was really cool. Definitely will be back for their happy hour.

Google
As much I a dislike deep ellum, I would go back. Palma so pressure 💯 — from service to the food & drink. 10/10 would recommend. Shrimp Sushi went crazyyyy. Nice level of spice. Caesar Salad 10/10. Burger +++. Salmon could’ve been a little better. But overall, everything was great and the vibe of the place was dope.

This place was so beautiful it did not feel like you’re in the middle of the city. Valarie was our server she was amazing and attentive! My drink was so good not too strong or sweet. Would definitely be back.

Happy hour with friends! I made reservations on OpenTable for early afternoon which was pretty easy but it does require a credit card on file incase of cancellation. This place is really cute, nice atmosphere. It was steady since it was mid afternoon. We started off with drinks which took a while to bring. Our waiter had a trainee so a lot of items would come out late. I had the EXSW marg which is $7 on the happy hour menu. I enjoyed it. Wasn't super strong, and wasn't exactly frozen but it did the job. We started off with "The Cure" Platter. Presentation was amazing but some of the appetizers did come out lukewarm/cold. I would say I was pretty impressed with the queso. I just wish the food was more hot being served. Edamame was a bit salty. I did order the jalapeño smash burger with friends with I enjoyed. I did try the "Crunchy L.A.", which is one of their sushi options. I could pass. Wasn't my favorite. Cons: Flies inside the restaurant but you can ask for the fans to be placed on your table to combat that. Sometimes it expect when people coming in and out for the patio. Food not being as warm as it should coming out the kitchen. Nothing than cold food being served. And service being slow. It's to be expected since they are still trying to find their rhythm. All in all, I still had fun with my friends regardless. Our waiter and his trainee were still very nice regardless of situations out of their control. Kinks are to be expected. Still come and check it out for yourself.

Yelp
Ambience and vibes are all there, it's a pretty great atmosphere. It gives off Tulum, beach vibes but it sadly doesn't deliver in the food part, I like the concept of crossing Asian and Mexican cuisine. But the plates are really basic and don't back up the overall structure of this place. Sushi is not bad at all but it's not over the top either, I just expected more of a higher end, crafted plates to go with the style of this place. It honestly felt like I went to my local asian restaurant and got sushi but got dressed up for the " Palma" vibes.

Yelp
This is a nice addition to Deep Ellum! It definitely has its own vibe. There's a nice big patio and bar with indoor and outdoor seating. The whole set up will make you forget you're in Dallas which I love, and it draws an attractive crowd. I recommend the EXSW Margarita and the popcorn chicken and fries were good. I tried the spicy chicken tinga which was flavorful but a little too spicy for this chick. I had the Brekky Martini w/gin during brunch. The taste wasn't very memorable but it was strong! There's a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant with very reasonable prices. You just text a code and receive a link. No downloading a whole new app just to park your car.

Yelp
Visited before an event near by. I made reservations earlier in the day for patio seating. When my friend and I arrived we were told there were no more table available on the patio but they could seat us inside. We ended up with a spacious table in front of the bar area. A little annoying from a restaurant that requires a credit card for a reservation. Luckily the service and food made up for this little hiccup. My friend and I shared the hatch chile queso and negi yellowtail roll. Both were perfect portions to share with a few friends. The queso was very good, maybe one of my favorites in the city. We also tried the shrimp tacos which were good but not a must order for me. Drinks were very good! Perfectly balanced and decently priced on the happy hour menu I can see myself returning again for starters and drinks. Very cool that they have a speakeasy which you can access through the restaurant.

Yelp
If you're going to Palma in Dallas, request Julian--trust me. He's not just a server; he's a whole experience. We had The Cure Platter, which lived up to the name--basically the foodie version of a deep tissue massage. Our drink lineup included the Espresso Martini, Prickly Mojito, and The Splash--and Julian guided us through each one like a seasoned pro, making spot-on suggestions without missing a beat. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like VIPs. From timing to recommendations to overall vibe, Julian nailed it. The food and drinks were amazing, but his energy is what made the night memorable. 5/5--Julian is the reason we'll be coming back to Palma

Yelp
My husband and I tried this place after seeing it on TikTok. It's a super cute new restaurant located in deep ellum. We sat outside there were fans but we did have a bit of issue with flies once we got our food. Service was great and prompt. When asking about the menu we learned that the happy hour drinks are pre batched. Sadly you could tell. They were pretty watered down and lacked flavor. The food was pretty good. We went for happy hour. I got the birria tacos. The console was perfect. Sometime it can be too oily at some places and lack flavor but they didn't have this issue. The tacos thenselves were bad either but they didn't lack consistency amongst the three I had. My husband had a burger and fries which he enjoyed .They also have Speakeasy that we'll come back to try in the future as for Palma I would come again and likely try drinks off of the happy hour menus to taste for quality .

Yelp
I came for dinner with a group of 4. The restaurant itself is beautiful and such a fun vibe. The drinks were all done well- the blood orange margarita was my favorite! Our waitress was so nice and offered great recommendations for appetizers. The Thai curry fries were solid and great to share. The sushi nachos were also a great starter. The maki yellowtail habanero sushi was perfect and a good amount. Overall the spot was fun, lively and perfect for a group for friends!

Yelp
I was excited to try Palma after seeing countless videos raving about this new addition to Deep Ellum. Unfortunately my friends and I didn't make it in time for happy hour, but the prices on the regular menu were reasonably priced. The vibe was great and perfect for pictures. I recommend the Piña Old Fashion. It was a delicious twist on the classic cocktail. I also recommend the Vibe Check. If you're a fan of Painkillers, you'll enjoy the Vibe Check. As for food, I'd skip the sushi if you're a sushi lover. My friend and I ordered the Santana and Yellowtail Habanero rolls. Both were highly recommended by our waitress and looked pretty, but were underwhelming taste wise. I do recommend the popcorn chicken and the Thai curry fries. Both were full of flavor and outshined our sushi rolls.

Yelp
One word... VIBE!!! If you're looking for an immediate pick me up with great music, amazing happy hour specials (that begin at 11am!! till 7pm), tasty food and very friendly service this is your spot! Expect a young and vibrant crowd and a trendy decor. Has plenty inside and outside seating. A fusion of Asian and Mexican cuisine. We opted for both mixed platters. Great choice to try a little of everything!

Yelp
Palma - Dallas, TX The food was a solid 8/10--flavorful and well-plated. The aesthetic and overall vibes of the place were absolutely on point--super cute and well put together, definitely a great spot for pics and chill energy. However, the service didn't quite match up. Our server was sweet, but not attentive and kept forgetting about our table, which really took away from the experience. I'd come back for the atmosphere and food, but I'm hoping for better service next time.

Yelp
Palma is a newer spot in Deep Ellum. I'll say that I love the vibe more than anything. The fries I did have were super good and the lychee martini I had was amazing! I would come back for the vibes
google avatar

Kiana B.

Yelp
Our server was really nice and convinced us to go to the speak easy in the back which has an entirely different happy hour so be aware of that ! This is an Asian/Mexican fusion spot and I think they do a great job. It was a little warm in there but compared to outside it was all good lol. This was probably the best espresso martini I've ever had! That cold foam on top was elite. Sushi was good and the guac and sushi nachos were also delicious

Yelp
Came here with a girlfriend for lunch on a Monday and was pleased to see that they have happy hour Monday-Friday from 11 am to 7 pm! The vibes here also make you feel like you're in Tulum or at an exotic vacay spot- not Deep Ellum. Great for picture opps! We tried the Splash, which is basically a vodka strawberry lemonade, and it hit the spot! Super refreshing and had just the right amount of strawberry and lemon without it being too sweet. For food, we ordered the crab rangoon, popcorn chicken, yellowtail habanero, and the crunchy L.A. Everything was really good! Overall, we had a great time here and I would definitely come back here again!

Yelp
How much Deep Ellum has changed! Love that this new concept opened in Deep Ellum on Main Street. It's the first restaurant you see once you enter into Deep Ellum. I haven't been back in ages and love that the area has s much going on. Right next door our shops, bars, and more restaurants. The place was such a vibe! Love the Tulum inspired patio and the place was beautiful and very spacious. I found the place because it came up on my for you page that it just opened. I arrived during happy hour and the place was starting to fill up. I was guided to the inside bar by the hostess. The bartenders were very welcoming and informed me that happy was all day until 7. This is great! The happy hour had great prices for cocktails and bites. The menu for food had some asian inspiration. I ordered the spicy tuna maki. It was fresh and really good. I wanted to try a little bit of everything and ordered the cure, a shareable platter. It had a combo of crab rangoon, hatch chili queso, salted charred edamame, popcorn chicken and Yummy Fries. It was perfect for 3 or 4 people. My favorite from the platter were the popcorn chicken that had a bit of spice in it and the yummy fries. From the drink options loved the EXSW Margarita. It was so refreshing. Rimmed with tajin and had a frozen texture. Delicious. The restaurant was getting packed around 7:30 and the music was spot on. The staff was so attentive and when I was closing my tab told m to go by the speakeasy, Ghost Dinkey right through the door near the restrooms. I was curious do I did and loved the vibe. Once you open the door you see neon lights and just a cool vibe. With music popping and people sipping on cocktails enjoying themselves. Overall, had a blast and will be back! Highly recommend for the happy hour and a night out. This is what we needed here!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant that reminded me of being at a beach resort. Came for brunch and everything was delightful. Had the greatest waiter (can't remember name!!). The food was fresh and tasted great! I had the birria tacos and hubs had the chicken biscuit. Drinks are great as well (including the non spirited ones!)
google avatar

Zadiee R.

Yelp
Omg I came here for lunch and yesssss! I will be back. It's a patio beach type restaurant. The full is soooo good! I posted all the pictures for the food but I cannot remember what they are. I do know the chicken sandwich is amazing and the sushi is to die for! The drinks and food are reasonable and not too expensive. My server Eileen was amazing! She recommended so many good foods. I definitely will be back. They also have a speak easy in the back and the drinks are soooo cheap!!
google avatar

Claudia C.

Yelp
Had dinner for 4 at 6:45pm here on a Friday. We ordered just in time for happy hour, which is very reasonably priced! The sushi is not amazing, but good enough for the atmosphere. We ordered the salmon roll, santana, yellowtail, and a couple others. The splash and lychee martini were very sweet, a round of our lychee martinis came out room temp. The music was WAY too loud for a dinner setting, we had to yell to talk to each other. You can turn up the music at 9, but dinner time can be a little lower lol Overall the service was pretty slow, food was ok and drinks were ok. It was soooo hot inside because it's open air, and there are lots of flies. The saving grace is the decor and the pricing.
google avatar

Lily M.

Yelp
Came here with my friend for lunch to see what they were all about. This place is huge!!! I loved the inside, it reminded me of being by the beach. We had the Crab Rangoon and The Hatch Chili Queso for our appetizers and they were absolutely delicious and flavorful. For our meals we both tried the Galbi Short Rib, and it was good, although the taste of the kimchi was not doing it for me. Also the egg was cold! Not room temperature cold but refrigerator cold. The coldness of the egg threw me off, and kind of killed the vibe of the meal. Our waitress was really attentive and sweet. One thing that I have to mention is that they do make you put a credit card on file for the reservation, which is annoying. Overall the place is solid, I would come back again.

Yelp
OMG, yall dont walk RUN HAPPY HOUR is a MUSTAll the pictures I included were off the HH menu except the Ube dessert. The drinks were $7 & $8, cure platter was $30 and is huge, enough for 4 people, sushi $11, and the Ube dessert was $11. I could of eaten another two, next time I'm getting one before my food and at the end LoL The ambiance is spot on. There are various seating options on the patio depending on your mood. They are able to adjust the sun shades so that is a huge plus. All the staff were smiling, kind and helpful. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was top notch, everything we ordered was on her recommendation. Oh they validate parking too. Okay yall Enjoy
google avatar

Yelp
Went for HH , they have amazing deals and HH everyday from monday to Friday till 7pm. We tried their popcorn chicken, thai curry fried , spicy salmon roll everything was really good. Deff will be returning!!!

Yelp
Visited this place for the first time and had an excellent experience! Our server was fantastic--super friendly and helpful in guiding us through the drink and food menu. After we wrapped up our meal, she recommended checking out the speakeasy, Ghost Donkey, and it did not disappoint. The vibe was great, with amazing music and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. Special shoutout to the bartender, Abel, who went above and beyond to explain the menu and the overall concept. His attention to detail really stood out. The mixed drinks were absolutely phenomenal--some of the best I've had in a long time. Definitely planning to come back soon
google avatar

Anastasiya S.

Yelp
I really liked this place! We Ubered, however, there is plenty of parking around. Our reservation was at 9:15 pm and they do check IDs upon entry. The hostesses are very pleasant and we waited 5 minutes at most to be seated. Servers are super attentive and quick. We ordered drinks from cocktail menu but keep in mind all of them are on a sweeter side, so if you are not a fan of sweet drinks maybe consult with server prior to ordering, as we did have to send my husbands drink back and change it to regular old fashioned. But this is taste preference, otherwise the drinks are good! Food is delicious! And it's coming out very quick! This place has a very cool vibe and music! Enjoyed it!

Yelp
Very cute decor. It reminds me of the beach in Mexico or the west coast...think California. The food was pretty delicious too. Their menu is a Latin Asian fusion - I ordered banh mi cheese steak. If you want a delicious alcohol free drink try the Flower child - pea flower, lemon, and lavender. Great place for lunch with friends. They have a pretty decent happy hour menu. The service was ok. They were a bit busy.

Yelp
This restaurant just opened this past Monday, but we had no idea. We are visiting Dallas for music, and we were driving down the road, and immediately this restaurant caught our eye. From the outside open patio to the vibey house music, what a superb concept that they have added to this area. The food was incredible and service too. Maria was a bomb server!! They also have a brand new speakeasy attached to next door.
google avatar

Christine Y.

Yelp
The food service was amazing, the vibe and dj was great! The loaded hashbrown is completely flavorful and amazing. The Avocado toastada is amazing. The honey butter crunch French toast is really sweet but it's good. Barbacoa has is highly recommended!

Yelp
Such a great guest experience. I can on vacation-visiting friends- with my hubby and 10 month old. I was apprehensive at first because I had a baby in what looks like an adult rooftop vacation vibes spot, but I'm happy we stayed. As a pescatarian, eating in Dallas has been tough, but I ordered the veggie noodle salad with salmon and it was delicious- beyond my expectations. The atmosphere was chill for day drinking. Would recommend for a meet up with old friends or first date.
google avatar

Erica R.

Yelp
This place was a complete 11 out of 10! The food was spectacular (literally everything I ate was delicious), the environment is giving an oasis jewelry box in the middle of deep Ellum, and the service - wow, (let me tell you ask for Diamond - the quality, awareness and depth "unmatched"). Palma - I will be back, and will bring a Million friends! This place is an entire VIBE!!!
google avatar

Yelp
10/10!!! GREAT VIBES! I feel like I am in Miami again! Su, Sierra, Coleen, even the trainer from Kentucky M something. I forget the name, forgive me. GREAT FOOD! I got the breakfast sandwich and I am so happy. So good and fresh. This place is a banger. Great diversity in the staff. **HH 11-7 M-F**

Yelp
I went on a Friday after work. And there was no immediate reservations. The next set of reservations would be available in about an hour. But the bar was open, so I thought it was best to sit there and it was good. I still had an amazing view. I was able to see the interior. I love the design and layout of the establishment and I was able to order my drink very quickly because the bartenders were pretty cool. I did take my entrée home and it was a really good microwavable heat up. So I highly recommend.

Yelp
I've been a few times now and it's always great. The atmosphere is really nice with an awesome lay out that has an abundance of natural light. I was very surprised by how fresh the sushi was. I've had multiple rolls from there that are fantastic and keep me coming back. The service is always top notch as well, very friendly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was so excited to visit the new Palma. I will put a disclaimer that I did not book a reservation. I walked in because Sunday was rainy, open table had plenty of availability, and I didn't want to put my credit card on file for same day reservation. It was extremely humid due to the rain Sunday. When we arrived at 4pm we were told it was an hour wait although the patio was empty and the dining wasn't even at 50% capacity. They said they had previous reservations. However OpenTable said I could be seated inside in 30 min. Needless to say I obliged. I was on a date and didn't want to be a Debby downer so we began at the bar. After 48 mins we were seated, but it was only on the patio. We asked for inside and I explained OpenTable has inside availability if I book in 30 mins so why not seat me there now? the waiter told me unfortunately they block tables and never seat them and he didn't understand why they do it. Remind you I told you how humid it was .. the patio was a sauna but the hostesses conveniently had industrial fans blowing directly on them but not their patrons. We closed our bar tab and left. This place has so much potential but will need to work on service. We shared a few apps and the food was priced appropriately for quality but nothing memorable.

Yelp
We went for our weekly brunch on a Sunday and it was great! Beautiful decors...great for your day pic because of the lighting. Feels like we were in Cancun! The drinks were delicious at a reasonable price. The only thing that may bother someone who doesn't like flies..occasionally the little flies will be flying around because the restaurant's big door is open during the day. But the staff will bring the little spinning thingy to shoo the flies away. Staff is my favorite part of all! Very attentive and sweet. I would highly recommend this place for brunch with your girls!

Yelp
Palma was good! We had a light sushi meal. I had the spicy crab sushi rolls. They had a drink that was so good, idk what it was called but it was good and strong. I loved that it was half frozen and it's half Japanese liquor so that part isn't frozen. It's perfect so you're not slurping on a frozen drink all day but it's not going TOO fast either. I want to try their burger it looked great. The wall is like an immersive piece of artwork, absolutely gorgeous. My server was so sweet. We also had the crab ragoons and they were really good. The bathrooms are cute as well. Connected in the back is ghost donkey!' Omg a vibe. They have one in phoenix and I loved it so i knew the Dallas location wouldn't disappoint and it didn't! So after you eat, head to ghost donkey for drinks. We had these cucumber drinks. I'm not even a cucumber fan but the drinks were so damn good and we got them on happy hour. 2 had me feeling it allll the way! Happy hour is 4-8 at ghost donkey and is such a cool ambiance. Bartenders were great! Make time for both sides, you won't regret it! Would definitely be back.

Yelp
This is a great place for a date , happy hour with a friend, or just want to get dressed and go somewhere cute. The service was amazing - we had Colin at the bar. We were able to enjoy the happy hour menu - ordered yellowtail habanero roll, queso and their version of spicy margaritas. Everything was amazing. I hope they continue this level of service. Also, checked out the speak easy - decent drinks, nice staff. I hope they keep it as a speak easy, and avoid letting it get too packed.

Yelp
I made a reservation for my husband and I for 1030PM. At 7:04PM, we got a call from the restaurant to let us know that the kitchen closes at 11, and to ask if we'd like to move our reservation. I thank them for the call and move the reservation to 10pm. At 8:28pm, we got another call from the restaurant to let us know that the kitchen closes at 10. I mentioned that we received a call before, and have already moved the reservation. After a brief hold, we were told that they "weren't sure why" we were told 11, but the kitchen closes at 10. This restaurant is an hour's drive away from us. We were disappointed and made childcare plans to enjoy an evening together. We unfortunately had our plans ruined because they couldn't get it together. We were so excited and now we are so bummed. Do better Palma.

Yelp
Walked into Palma with my boyfriend at 6:35pm. Greeted by a half-dozen staff at the host stand no smiles, no urgency. We were told, "Sorry, we're fully booked reservation only." Strange, considering the sea of untouched tables behind them. But maybe I forgot my glasses... because I couldn't see a single person actually seated in the dining area. We tried the bar next only to be told that half of it was closed. It wasn't busy. It wasn't full. It was just... unbothered. One of the hosts even told us the bar was open on both sides. But when we sat down, the bartender informed us that section was off-limits. So which was it? Out of curiosity, we pulled up the reservation system right there on the spot. Slots were wide open every 15 minutes from 6:45 through the evening. So what were we really being told? If your team can't accommodate a walk-in in an empty restaurant with live, open reservations, just be honest. We would've understood that it's too much to handle. Instead, we got conflicting stories and closed-off service in a wide-open space. But hey...... that's how these Deep Ellum spots go. Flashy launch, zero follow through, and six months later? A "For Lease" sign where the menu used to be.

Yelp
I sadly didn't grab any pictures because everything was absolutely scrumptious, but this place is a hit! Everything about this place was smooooth. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. The owner showed us around because it has unique seating all over the place and was super likable. The owner of the Ghost Donkey (Agave Bar next door) Oscar introduced himself and was super friendly. The food was lovely! The hatch chile queso is super creamy and flavorful- a top 5 queso for me in the metroplex. The sushi nachos weren't anything to die for with a little too much lettuce, but the flavors were interesting. The jalapeño smash burger was super satisfying. The meat had good crispy bits on the edge like a proper smash burger, and the cheese was creamy af in the best way! I'm not usually a fan of deep ellum restaurants (I've lived here for 5 years) as they usually prioritize IG vibes over service or food, but this place has all 3 and I hope they stick around and do really well!

Yelp
Service is amazing from beginning to end! Really enjoyed happy hour and the speakeasy. I recommend the Santana Roll & Smashburger.

Yelp
Our server Jesus was so helpful with food suggestions and very nice. The sushi rolls and yum yum fries are absolutely mouth watering, love the outdoor patio vibe as well, definitely somewhere I will be eating here again and want to check out their night vibe as well.

Yelp
Amazing service. Delicious food. Immaculate vibes. Our server Ozzie was the most thoughtful, knowledgeable and kind. For sure will be back.

Yelp
The ambience is so calming and gives you the feeling of being someone where in the South America's. The Asian/Mexican fusion is packed full of flavor. The service was amazing as well. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were . T

Yelp
The atmosphere when you walk in is great. It's kind of beach vibe but also desert. The music on the ceiling embedded speakers was bumping. The acoustic treatment in the ceiling also really made it so that you can have a conversation and not be stuck listening to a table across the ways conversation instead. The blood orange margarita was dank. Food was stellar.

Yelp
Literally EVERYTHING was amazing. Ambiance is a 10! We had the loaded queso and sweet potato fries...so good. And the happy hour menu is really good.

Yelp
The host girl at the front was nice but the guy with creepy eyes was super rude. He told us we couldn't sit at any booths because the parties were going to come soon but our entire time there there were multiple booths empty the whole time. We sat at the bar for 10 min before we could ordered food. The food was great but the overall service was bad, especially from the male host.

Yelp

Yelp
Service at the bar was terrible. Never recommended for you to go to the bar any day of the week. Also just will not go back to that environment because it was not very welcoming and just drinks were not good and drinks are made wrong as they were said to be on the menu. Will not be back ever again in my life. Definitely doesn't compare to the Phoenix location at all.

Yelp
Went on Friday June 6th at 4:15. The parking is horrible, even if you can find a spot, but it still counts toward the experience. No problem getting a table in the bar area, sat there for 5 minutes and no server came to the table and the ones that did walk by didn't offer water much less a drink order. since no one wanted to serve the table I left, even after paying $15.00 for 10-15 minutes. Bottom line it is becoming harder and harder to support Deep Ellum. Thank goodness there are still quality places a couple of blocks over on Commerce. Oh and the parking there isn't great either but you do get service.
