"This quaint cafe located in the village near the lighthouse serves an all-day breakfast and lunch. Order any of Palmer’s Village Cafe’s omelets, like the hooch with spicy tomatoes, provolone, cheddar, and sausage topped with fried onions. For lunch, try the crabwich with herb mayonnaise, bacon, lettuce, and tomato jam on a griddled English muffin." - Eater Staff

Worth the wait! The check-in process was seamless and while we were told about 30-45 minutes of wait time - it went by so quickly with all the cute little shops around the strip of town. Once called in, the ambiance is southern quaint with hospitality that is top notch. The food 😋 man oh man, there is breakfast - and then there is boutique craft breakfast. The challah bread used for the French toast, steak strips, eggs - everything was truly exceptional. Excellent food, experience and a must if you’re in St.Simon Island!

What a delicious, and I mean really delicious and charming cafe. Wait staff were friendly and very efficient. Comfortable atmosphere. My gal pal had scrambled eggs, crispy bacon (she calls it breakable bacon), a biscuit and orange juice. I hesitated to order The Full Monty, but so glad I did! It is a perfectly cooked, open-faced challah french toast, topped with sliced ham, Swiss cheese, the perfect amount of arugula, all topped off with two beautiful sunny side up eggs. Excellent coffee. We went on a Monday morning and were seated right away. They probably have lines out the door on the weekend!

Palmer's Village Cafe is a must go to spot we go to when we visit St Simons. Obviously appreciated by the locals as well. 8:30 AM on a Monday and my wife and I were immediately seated, there was a wait when we left. Staff were perfectly attentive, drinks were never empty. I had eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, all generous portions. My wife toasted oats pancake, large size with more oats in a pancake than I ever seen. Coffee was excellent. We always look forward to going back.

YUMMMMMMM Loved the downtown cafe for brunch! So delicious. You should only pray they have the steak omelette special when you're in. Wait is long but it is worth the wait trust me. It didn't get it's reviews of great stars off of imaginary patrons. The banana pudding pancakes my wife got were also mouth watering. Plan for a food coma nap after

Arrived sunday at about 1:45, didn't know they closed at 2. Was seated and saw the hours of operation on menu. Told them that we didn't want to order so close to close of business. Host graciously told us that it was fine. I'm so glad we stayed! Had the omelet over crab meat, Jen had 2 eggs and grits. Delicious! Eggs were light and fluffy and the grits had a wonderful flavor.

We attended a wedding at Sea Island. While there were many options at The Cloisters, we wanted to try something else, a local joint. Palmer’s came highly recommended by our valet. Palmer’s didn’t disappoint. DO NOT let the long wait bother you nor get offended by the host who will greet you, and perhaps later on become your server. If you’re in the food industry you will understand his demeanor. Otherwise, you will understand later why Palmer and Amanda hired this fella in the first place. This place sits less than 20 tables I think. So efficiency is key. Do not be discourage with the wait, apply patience and you will be rewarded with a very good breakfast and a wonderful experience in St Simons Island.

The food was good, but the service was not. It's a busy place, especially on a Sunday, but it felt like the staff barely had time to talk to us. It seemed obvious that their main priority was to get people out of there quickly. The person who took our order was rude and abrupt, not answering our questions and rushing us through our order. It was good Southern food, but without the southern hospitality. Maybe take-out is your best option.

Palmer's Village Cafe 223 Mallery St., St. Simons Island, GA 5 Stars Whenever you have a world-renowned chef manning the kitchen in a restaurant, there is a 99% chance that while the food is going to be outstanding, there will be little quirks elsewhere. A case in point is Palmer's Village Cafe on St. Simons Island, GA. Helmed by Chef JB (John Belechak) of DC, Atlanta, and a three-time invitee to be featured in the James Beard House Foundation, you know the food is going to be an amazing combination of Southern Comfort Foods and Haute Cuisine. Palmer's Village Cafe is another in a long line of restaurants serving 5-star grub while employing nonsensical staff and enforcing whimsical rules. I guess if you're creative you're allowed a few quirks? Susie was my waitstaff member today, and she is a discombobulated eccentric who, at 7:30 in the morning, comes off as unpleasant. She is so bizarre that I had to ask her is she was the owner. She was not and directed me to the chap at the counter. The owner has a very strict rule that doesn't allow one to pay at the table, rather, you have to stand in line and approach the register one at a time. To make sure you follow the rules there are no prices on the check. That said, let's get into the food! I did manage to finagle an order for some of Buddy's Banana Pudding Pancakes, a Chicken Pot Pie omelet, and a biscuit out of Susie. While she returned with my order, I snapped some pics and relaxed, enjoying the serene atmosphere that is life on an island. Everything just seems to slow down a tad when living on or visiting an island. Within a modicum amount of time another gentleman returned with my foodstuffs. I must interject here that the smells were spectacular and the looks enticing. I direct you to the pictures. First up on the Big Boy's palate was a taste of Buddy's Banana Pudding Pancakes. The addition of the crusted 'Nilla wafers to the southern staple of banana pancakes was what set these apart. The pancakes themselves may be no better than average, but the creative use of wafers separated them from the competition. The Chix Pot Pie was a leap beyond Buddy's Banana Pudding Pancakes. This was truly spectacular. Consisting of a three-egg omelet, white cheddar cheese, crumbled biscuits and chicken pot pie, it brought immense joy to my taste buds. Finding it hard to move on, I snuck one more forkful in and then turned my attention to the biscuit. While the menu offers you the opportunity to build your own biscuit by adding items such as eggs, sausage, bacon, country ham, etc, I opted for a plain biscuit in order to get an unswayed taste. One bite and you knew it was the real deal. This was no plug-and-play frozen puck warmed in the oven. This was made fresh in the back and was just about the most perfect biscuit I have had. It was a golden brown and so flaky and airy on the inside that I thought I was eating a cloud of pastry deliciousness. While trying not to commit felicide here, I just have to say, “With Chef JB running the ship, this place is 5-star all day (they are only open for breakfast and lunch). While certainly not the best pancakes in the country, Chef JB's creative use of haute cuisine touches does make them one of a kind.”

Yelp
Food was nice. And our waiter was lovely and very Laid back and funny We had one of the best experiences this was a put stock on our way to Disney for my kiddos

Yelp
Palmer's Village is a cute cafe set in the Pier Village, making it quite convenient to get to. The entrance is low-key, making it but hard to spot but once inside, the decor is very much that quaint village diner feel with a open floor plan. Seating us best for parties of 2 or 4 - there isn't much options for a larger party. I got the off-menu omelet special (an omelet with shaved sirloin, red peppers, and white cheese) plus the biscuits and gravy. My wife snagged their PVC cakes (blueberry pancake stack rolled in oats). An immediate thing I really liked - the syrup was brought out to us in a metal tin and it was piping hot. A tiny detail but an important one to let you put cold butter on the pancake stack before melting it My two items were enjoyable but unspectacular. The biscuit & gravy had more flavor. I thought the omelet was a bit boring for an off-menu item especially when they had a few more staple omelets with better flair and presentation. All in all, my experience of Palmer's was positive. I don't think I'd ever go out of my way for it but its location is right where everything is and the breakfast/brunch option is nice. I'm intrigued enough to come back and try their lunch items - they had a tomato soup with goat cheese crumbles and a pimento grilled cheese that sound particularly promising.

Yelp
Food and service was amazing. Menu is full if unique takes on popular breakfast and brunch items. The Chicken pot pie omelette was really good. Challah French Toast was great as well. Highly recommend Palmer's!

Patricia M.

Yelp
This place is small so you may need to wait but it is worth it. I put our name in and then we waited outside. We waited about 15 minutes to get in on a Sunday morning. I had the challah French toast with berries which was delicious. The French toast was sweet and served with hot syrup on the side. The berries were very fresh. Coffee was also good. Service was excellent. It is definitely a place I plan to return to.

Galina A.

Yelp
Palmers is a must when you visit SSI! This is our second year in a row coming here for breakfast and both times have been superb. Be prepared to wait as they are always busy, but they get people in and out pretty quickly which is so impressive. Pictured here is an egg white omelet with tomato, arugula, balsamic glaze, cucumbers, bacon and cream cheese inside. It is to die for! The service is always great here, coffee refills are done constantly and the servers always make sure everything is great. Highly recommend coming here!

TinaH ..

Yelp
The place is small, small dining upfront with a small room in the rear. We (party of 3) had to wait outside in the sun! I order the eggs your way. Eggs scrambled baconsoft and toast with potatoes. The eggs scrambled were good they were fluffy, the bacon was cooked hard, the toast was dry ( I had to ask for butter), and the potatoes were heavily seasoned with old bay. I could not eat them. Therefore, my breakfast was toast and eggs scrambled. ** Recommendation Slow down, take your time preparing the food, I specifically asked for soft bacon. I see where the potatoes could have been good, but they were heavily seasoned!

Lauren R.

Yelp
Definitely be sure to try the maple glazed bacon French toast if you make it to this little cafe. The bread that they used was super thick and fluffy! If you want some pancakes plus being able to taste anything else, ordering just one pancake will just about fill you up! They are huge. We shared the surf squared and it had a great flavor in the sauce and crab cake combo. The potatoes as a side could have been better. I enjoyed the unique texture change ups of the pvc pancakes that are packed with oats and crunchy pecans. Lots of fresh blueberries in there too. Certainly not your run of the mill pancakes. It was busy on a Saturday morning but even so, it only took about ten minutes to get a table. They kept an efficient operation going.

Yelp
Breakfast was excellent, service was quick, atmosphere was clean and present. I would recommend.

Jim R.

Yelp
Every time we visit, we always stop in for breakfast. Cute little place with some interesting menu options. What we like: *Shrimp and Grits, it is honestly the only thing I ever order. I like it, I keep getting it. Although I do try the misses stuff every time. * service is always prompt and friendly. * it's just a cool little place. What could be better: * the potatoes that came with the eggs were just ok, personally would like them crispier.

Claire S.

Yelp
Great spot for a post Thanksgiving breakfast! Plan to wait for 15 minutes or so on a busy day. The service is prompt and polite, and the food is great. I'd highly recommend the fluffy blueberry pancakes and the Tuscan Omelette.

Douglas R.

Yelp
Located in what would seem restaurant row, this quaint place has breakfast all day and lunch offerings after 11. We tried their famous pancakes, classic egg breakfast and french toast. Service was fast and there was a second room at the back for overflow. Decorated with what I'm guessing are local painter's work makes it feel more eclectic. You can even purchase the paintings and the price tags on most read over $1000. The pull for us was their famous pancakes. They were very good but the french toast stood the show for me. It was made from thick pieces of challah bread and topped with fruit. This place has reasonable prices and great service. It is well worth visiting this place.

Nia G.

Yelp
Absolutely the best breakfast spot on the Island! There is a wait list if you arrive by nine, but it is so worth the wait or arrive really early if you are in a large group. Everything on the menu is worth tasting, I came with a group of nine and we each ordered something different -the Omelettes, pancakes. Unanimously, the reviews from my party are all "five stars" especially anything with crab or seafood. Try the cheese girls- they make any meal better! Service from Chase was excellent! He anticipated our needs and provided plenty of refills without being asked- we didn't have to seek him as he was always checking in. Although a small cafe, it feels very spacious inside. The tables offer amble space for large meals and the seats are a good distance a part. I loved the local art decor which is also for sale.

Shellie J.

Yelp
Today was my first time in and it most definitely won't be the last. Very good food and friendly staff! I had The Local (breakfast menu) and my hubby had the biscuit with sausage gravy. Both were absolutely delicious! The Local was the best I've had in a long time. Enjoyed this place very much!

Le'Andre D.

Yelp
Palmers is thee breakfast spot when on St. Simon's Island. The food is always very delicious. My first time here was years ago and since I've now moved to South Georgia, I've been back here multiple times. It's a nice quaint restaurant . The service is very fast and friendly. It is usually pretty busy, so get there early!

Yelp
We stopped here at the recommendation of the bartender and a hotel clerk. So glad we did! The service was great and the food was fantastic! The best pimento cheese grits I've ever had.

Dave H.

Yelp
A hidden gem on St Simons Island. Upon arriving, there was a considerable group of people waiting to be seated but was pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of 2. Apparently large groups aren't easily accommodated so plan ahead. The entire staff was pleasant and checked on us throughout our visit but weren't hovering by any stretch of the imagination. I had an omelette with potatoes and a side of bacon. Although the potatoes were just lukewarm, the entire meal was tasty and cooked to perfection. My wife had the scallop and grits special and raved about the quantity and quality of her selection. If you are visiting St Simon or the Brunswick area, this gem is a must try.

K K.

Yelp
Had a great breakfast this morning. Tons of people outside but the wait was only 15 minutes, they move fast. Chocolate chip pancake was fantastic as were the eggs and bacon. They use old bay seasoning on the potatoes. Not a huge fan but everyone else loved them. Would definitely be my go to breakfast spot in SSI

Danny B.

Yelp
Very rustic, homegrown place for locals and visitors alike. Expect a short wait in the mornings. Breakfast is phenomenal! Service was on point!

Yvonne R.

Yelp
I can't believe I forgot to write a review for this place. This is a small hidden gem that serves amazing breakfast dishes. We were greeted and seated by Rob, who recommended the special of the day. It was a brisket in their homemade barbecue sauce. That sauce was unlike no other and left me craving more. It was served with eggs and I can't remember what else but everything was so good. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.

Ryan D.

Yelp
Food was really good. Steak and eggs were very good. 7,7. The blueberry pancakes were some of the best I've ever had. 9.3. Ambiance was cool, small, personable. Will be a repeat place to eat anytime we're on St. Simons.

Caleb Y.

Yelp
I don't leave a ton of Yelp reviews but Palmer's Village Cafe is worthy of the time it takes to leave this review. I was in town for a work conference and decided to stop in, thanks to the many Yelpers that reviewed the place before me. The smell of the place when I first walked in, wasn't my favorite but my nose quickly adjusted. The wait staff was slim but the guys were on a roll and didn't leave anyone needing a thing. I had gravy and biscuit on the brain but I browsed the menu for a moment and my eyes immediately went to the Surf Squared. So I had both. Ha. EXCELLENT FOOD! - Honestly, I think it's the best breakfast/brunch meal I've ever had. The perfect pairing of the grit cake, crab cake, poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. Seriously the best. Highly recommend. On to the gravy and biscuit - the biscuit was so soft and buttery. I was afraid it wouldn't have enough gravy but oh baby - TASTY gravy galore. Already dreaming of going back with my family. Top notch!

Stacy J.

Yelp
"It is the island" - everyone that doesn't live on the island. That may be why we judge accordingly on $40 for breakfast for 2. Hence the reason for the 4 star decision. With that out of the way, I've been to Palmer's a few times over the years. It was my husband's first time. It's a tiny place in the pier/village area. Depending on the season, you may wait to get a table. My advice is to go early and beat the vacation crowd. This morning wasn't horribly busy and we were seated immediately. It's clean and the original flooring is pretty amazing. I wish I had taken a picture. The coffee was brought out with waters. Too easy. Lots of creamers and sugars on the table. We ordered and had our food in minutes. I was hesitant to love food that was made faster than the Waffle House, but I was soooo wrong. I got the poached eggs over crab and grit cakes. The crab was so good. It came with a choice of potatoes or grits and the potatoes were a great choice. My husband got the steak and eggs. His was cooked perfectly and was gone really fast (that's how I know he loved it). Perfect portions and pleasant service. A bonus was the free coffee Yelp coupon at check in. Overall, I wanted very badly to give 5 stars but we don't eat out as much as we did in the past due to the rising cost. I understand the need to charge more due to product prices but Palmer's has always been expensive because they know they can. I get that. We would definitely go back but I'll have to get a second job before doing anything on St. Simons in the near future.

P D.

Yelp
Went there this morning. Friendly staff but subpar coffee and food. Much better experience at wake Up coffee shop.

Morgan B.

Yelp
Went to Palmer's on a Wednesday and it was busy but they sat us in 5 minutes. The entire staff was so friendly and run by all men, but were willing to talk and share their experiences. They were very attentive and detail oriented. One of my favorite meals this vacation. I will be sure to come back every time I am on the island.

Jim P.

Yelp
Small place but worth it for breakfast. Seated immediately with good service. We split an omelette that was delicious and plenty for two. Would definitely come back.

Ruth K.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Unique menu choices with cool vibes. Would definitely come back.

Beth F.

Yelp
We were in St. Simons for three nights and ate breakfast at Palmer's every single morning of our stay! That wasn't in our original plans, but the food was so amazing that we kept coming back. The Huevos Rancheros breakfast was beyond delicious. My husband branched out daily and tried different options (and loved them all), but I kept coming back to the same meal because it was so good! We definitely want to come back here with our kids, and will obviously be making Palmer's a priority on our list of places to take them.

Michael O.

Yelp
Service was excellent as all the servers helped each other by filling beverages as well as serving the entrees. The food was delicious and presented nicely. I enjoyed the crab cake with hollandaise sauce with sliced potatoes in lieu of grits. Was fantastic!

Scott C.

Yelp
Would not allow us in with our service dog. So we can not comment on the food just the illegal denied entry

Laura P.

Yelp
It's a good sign that arriving customers are greeted by name. Obviously a favorite spot for locals. My waitress was very helpful with suggestions and the breakfast special, Crab Omelet, sounded delicious! Upon recommendation of reviews, I started with a biscuit and their homemade tomato jam. They serve their biscuits split and griddle toasted with their jam. So delicious I bought a jam of jam to take home! Understanding that their large, approximately 8-9 inch, pancakes are a favorite of customers, I ordered the PVC pancakes. These are basically blueberry pancakes topped with a blend of oats and nuts. Textured, crunch and the pop of blueberries make for an interesting, delicious palate pleaser. Pancakes served with real maple syrup. Breakfast and lunch served all day. Alcohol and breakfast/brunch cocktails available. I can't wait to return!

Joe S.

Yelp
We enjoy the variety of breakfast choices and the pancakes are great! A must stop for our visitors from out-of-town!

Yelp
Food was great, service was good. But...had I paid a little closer attention to the cleanliness of the restaurant--from the dust on the ceiling and light fixtures to the bathroom walls and door that look like they haven't been cleaned in quite a while--I might have not even tried the food. Food can taste amazing but if the place is lacking in hygiene standards and cleanliness, I don't want it. So, I still gave them 3/5 stars that I would have given, but since this is a big deal to me, it has to take away. I would personally not go back unless they did a deep cleaning and maintained it. It's quite easy to maintain. I've worked in a few restaurants and was always expected to help do so. I will often check these out first and leave if they don't meet my standards since what you can see is only part of it (you don't see the BOH or how staff personally uphold cleanliness standards). This time, I let my hunger and reading good reviews blind me. I really hope they fix this because we come here often for work and would love to return. The pancakes were really good (although I was thinking it would have oats and blueberries). The biscuit sandwich was wonderful. The potatoes even tasted great. Despite the fact that the iced water had the weird local taste, the coffee seemed filtered and tasted great. Edited to reply to owner: The silver color is beautiful. The dust is not. I'm so glad to hear you deep clean yearly and recommend that might happen either twice yearly or quarterly (can be done without closing if done more often). Please also look for yourself at the greasy fingerprints on the bathroom door and walls that didn't happen overnight. A hard scrubbing with a Clorox wipe or less hard with a magic eraser will do the trick on those. My grandmother cleans for a living and has most of her life. I have six children and am in the military so know what clean looks like. Really, the correct response would be. "I am so sorry we missed the mark. We do close for a deep clean yearly and have excellent ratings from the health department but we all have room for improvement and will work on these. Thank you so much for pointing out how we might become even better as we strive to be the best..." Constructive feedback isn't bad. Your food is great. Your service was good. Y'all could clean a bit more. How you respond when your customers give feedback says a lot.

Suzanne C.

Yelp
Best breakfast of our trip!! Get there early. Delicious specialty dishes served quickly by a very friendly staff. Great spot for anyone to enjoy.

Sonya S.

Yelp
Had breakfast at Palmers while on vacay. The reputation is strong so we figured we couldn't go wrong. The wait was long so be prepared for 45 minutes plus. The restaurant is nothing remarkable and the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. The food was good but nothing special. We had the crab cake benedict spin off with a grit cake replacing the English muffin. It would have been better on an English muffin. The crab cake was very thin. We also ordered some pancakes and a grilled cheese sandwich. It was ok, but I don't think it was worth the wait.

Beverly S.

Yelp
Very good food, staff was very friendly and efficient. It appears the back room is where the put families with kids, so be aware. We ate there twice while on vacation and we were in the back, probably because the place was packed. Tried the French toast, pancakes and eggs, all very good. Only negative was they need to fix there tables. Stuffing paper towels underneath the legs is tacky and ineffective. Anytime someone was cutting anything you had to hold your coffee or it was everywhere.

Payton B.

Yelp
Got the blueberry pancakes, they were delicious! Best breakfast spot!! Coffee was great too!

Jeff Z.

Yelp
So, we stopped by for breakfast on Sunday morning. We were told there was a 35-minute wait, so we took a walk around the lighthouse. After 30 minutes we came back and were seated pretty much on time. This a small place, roughly 6 tables in the front and I would day a few more in the back of the restaurant, so there is usually a little wait, but we expected that. The gentlemen who sat us has an off-putting disposition, which is odd for someone in this line of work, but it is what it is. I ordered the brisket omelet with pimento cheese. The brisket was delicious, and the egg was cooked really well, but the pimento cheese made it a bit heavy, but it was good. The potatoes are ok, but not so good that I ate too much of them. the biscuit was cooked really well and tasty. My companion got the crab cake benedict, she liked it, but the cake at the bottom was a little bland she said. I will come back, and I'm going to try the challah French toast since I have heard good things about it!

Susan H.

Yelp
I have only done 2 reviews in all these years, and 1 negative one before. I ordered the banana pudding pancakes, and there are a few things the kitchen staff should learn: 1. NEVER beat pancake batter. It should be gently stirred, just to get the ingredients mixed. Otherwise gluten develops and it become tough. I required a knife to cut through the pancake. 2. Lower the temperature of the griddle so the food cooks through before burning the outside. The pancake was very dark brown on the bottom and way undercooked in the middle...gummy, almost raw in places. 3. If hou mess up, make a new one. Don't tear off the burnt/damaged section. My pancake was visibly missing a big chunk from one side. I spoke to a woman from a nearby table who also had pancakes. I saw that Hercules were almost black on the bottom and asked her. She said that hers were also way undercooked nnside. We agreed that they were burnt, gooey, and crunchy all at the same time. My husband had the tomato soup. It's flavor was good, but it was delivered at a temperature a bit below lukewarm. We obviously didn't finish either of our meals, but paid and left a tip for the server, who wasn't a party to the food preparation.

Yelp
Got here around 1045am, party fo two We were first timers to SSI, this place is beautiful but very busy. Street parking is available and I recommend getting there early. We waited like many others about 30 minutes for a table for 2. The restaurant is small, but accommodating. Staff is busy, but efficient and nice. Prices are very reasonable. All good came out timely and was very very good. We tried a little bit of everything... All well worth it Left restaurant very full!

Yelp
What a gem in SSI! Can't say enough about the superb service and attention to detail. The waiters were totally in synch and so gracious. We enjoyed full breakfasts (omelets) which were superb. Another reviewer made a negative comment about the bill (lacked $ amounts) and the need to pay at the counter - absolutely not an issue for us. I highly recommend Palmer's and would definitely return to dine again.

Yelp
I'm so confused why this place has such great reviews. This place is very small so it gets really crowded, really fast. We waited about 30 minutes before we were sat. Once we sat our server, an older gentleman, asked us what we wanted to drink. We told him we checked in to Yelp and we got a coupon for a free coffee or tea. He said it's one per table. I refuse to believe that's true. It's one per customer, not one per table. So only one of us could use it. When my friend was ordering food he completely cut her off and moved on and she wasn't even finished ordering!!! How weird and rude! When the food came out it just didn't look appetizing. It was just okay. Nothing great. The food is mediocre at best, as is the service. I don't have much to say other than it was a disappointment and I regret coming here. Please go to another breakfast spot. There's a much better one nearby! Oh, and their sister restaurant Porch was just as bad.

Yelp
The food was SO good! The staff was friendly when placing a phone order and picking it up. We had out dog with us so we weren't able to dine in, but will next time! The flavors of unique dishes offered made for a unique dining experience. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
Favorite spot for breakfast or lunch on the island. The omelets are inventive and fresh and very filling. Our boys got the 'eggs to order' and were stuffed full but wanted to go back the next day for more. Note - they don't have a specific kids menu so this is a great menu item option. My husband loved shrimp and grits the next day but would have ordered an extra side as he was hungry from a long morning on the beach. The place is small but a quaint environment and service is pretty quick if you go after 12:30pm for lunch or between 9:30-11am for breakfast

Yelp
Step right in to the cafe filled with tables and grab a seat, that is if there is one available. Get there early or you may have to wait. But if you have to wait it will be worth it. This is a down home small no frills cafe that serves up tasty dishes that are served hot, just like the coffee. The staff are friendly and efficient so be ready to order but don't forget they have specials so wait to hear them before making your final decision. Honestly, my world may be small but their pancakes are the best in the world, or at least my world. We were here in 2021 and returned for another visit to this island and couldn't leave without eating here and I recommend you stop in for breakfast because you won't be disappointed. They also serve lunch.

Yelp
LOVED this place! There was a wait but we were seated before the expected time. Greeted with friendly and quick service. The food was delish - fresh and very flavorful. I ordered the local omelette and it was amazing.

Yelp
We always love coming to have breakfast at Palmer's. It never disappoints. Service is always great, coffee hot and fresh and food that makes us happy!!

Yelp
One of my few 5 star reviews is well deserved by Palmers. I went between breakfast and lunch, so did not have to wait but a few minutes for a table. By the time I left, there were many people outside waiting. The place is small, but clean and nicely done inside. All the staff I encountered were professional, but pleasant and helpful. They really work as a team here and it works! I had a typical breakfast and would get it again, but was tempted by many items on the menu. Everything was good and it was served quickly and hot. A plus for sure in my book. Good food and decent prices for the Island....great job Palmers! I will be back!
