Space is pretty small. Pastries are good but nothing I would go out of my way for. Would come back to try their matcha croissant once it’s back on the menu. The person working was SO nice. He gave us a “sample,” but it was literally so generous - my friend and I each got half an entire pastry! - Blueberry almond danish ($8): 8/10, I liked the flavor and texture. Their croissants are perfectly flaky, buttery, and honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere in NYC. The vibe is warm and local, the coffee is great, and everything feels made with care. I finally visited Paloma Coffee & Bakery in Brooklyn and tried two pastries — the matcha danish and the fig danish — and both were standouts in completely different ways. The matcha danish had bold matcha flavor with beautiful layers and a slightly bitter finish that kept it from being overly sweet. It felt refined, almost like a Japanese dessert in the form of a viennoiserie. The fig danish, on the other hand, was more vibrant and fruity — soft, jammy figs with a caramelized edge and buttery, flaky dough underneath. Together, they showed how Paloma balances both experimental flavors and classic techniques.

Location is small with limited seating but the service was great and the food yummy. The croissants flaked so well. If you like a sweeter chai latte, you will need to ask for it to be sweetened. The Paloma Chai was creamy and warm but not sweet.

A girl walks into a bakery…and has the best experience. Usually when I ask the person behind the counter if something is good, they’re give a response that lets me know they want me to order and go away. Not here! Customer service from the sweet person in the abstract button down shirt was great. I ordered the new hazelnut danish and asked about the pistachio pain suisse. They gave me their opinions on both and sold me on the pistachio in only a few descriptive words. They brightened my day. I love trying new bakeries so it’s a bonus when I can go back due to great customer service AND pastries. I wasn’t a fan of the hot chocolate - it was lacking in depth of flavor.

Matcha lovers… RUN to Paloma for the richest matcha pastry—a dreamy collab with Kettl Tea. I picked up a few pastries and every single bite left me in awe. Paloma has instantly earned a spot in my top 5 bakeries in NYC. The creativity and craftsmanship behind each pastry really shine. Pro tips: - Get there early if there’s a specific pastry you want, as the popular items sell out fast. - Head to their bakery location (163 Nassau Ave) for more sufficient pastry options. ＊Matcha Chocolate Croissant $8 Intensely earthy and bittersweet, the rich matcha flavor amazed me. You could tell from the deep green color that they didn’t skimp out on matcha. I heard they went through tons of recipes to perfect the matcha terrine texture. We all know how much the price for matcha has gone up lately. $8 for this level of matcha pastry is such a steal. ＊Wagyu Gruyere Croissant $9 This weekend-only wagyu gruyere croissant felt like an elevated take on a breakfast croissant. It was flawlessly flaky and not greasy at all. I also loved the pickle! ＊Black Sesame Pinwheel $6 One of their most popular pastries! Beautifully laminated and spiraled, it was filled with black sesame cream. While the flavor was good, I’d say the black sesame wasn’t rich or nutty enough in Asian standards, or if you are into a more intense black sesame flavor like me. ＊Pain au Chocolat $6.75 ＊Croissant $4 I was told they use only the best butter and top-quality ingredients in their pastries. Their laminated pastries were flawless: perfectly layered, incredibly buttery, and flaky in every bite.

Most likely there’s a line for the weekend special, but it moves relatively fast. Some of the pastry might not be sold out for that moment but the chef is making more batches in the kitchen and they are more than happy to take the pre-orders for the customers. Matcha chocolate, ricotta mushroom and chorizo beans are some of the spring’25 specials. But don’t forget their long time running star’s Shakshuka, mortadella pistachio and black sesame are all amazingly delicious! I wish the roasted rainbow cauliflower galette will come back some time:)

The staff is friendly but chill, they always vibe like they remember you and are honest when you ask for recs. Coffee is a mere tad acid forward (for my own taste) to drink black, but lattes or cortados are superb. The pain aux raisins is a fave here , there seems to be an almond element in the creme patisserie and it binds the pastry together deliciously. The Wagyu is on another level of delicious. And the pistachio cream surprised me delightfully. They make it seem easy and casual here because the vibe is so laid back - but the quality’s high.

Unassuming coffee and bakery with beautiful breakfast items. My hubby got the danish with the egg in there and said it was it was delicious. Service was good too. Would love to go back and try some stuff.

Good coffee and fantastic baked goods! Believe one of the staff used to work at Dominique St Ansel, so they maintain a fairly high standard. Seating is a bit cramped though, it's more of a grab and go place. Prices are high but not unusual for the area.

We finally visited this coffee shop, and it was well worth the wait! Both the coffee and pastries were excellent. We tried the pecan and chocolate croissant along with Ethiopian coffee--both were perfect. Our barista was friendly and incredibly helpful, adding to the welcoming, community vibe. Can't wait to return!

New bakery from the family behind Paloma, the neighborhood coffee shop with two locations (Greenpoint and Williamsburg). This one is also in Greenpoint, and also serves coffee, but the focus here is on their new viennoiserie program, and it is already shaping up to be one of the very best in the whole city. We tried everything they had on their second day of soft open, and it was all incredible. The Butter Croissant is right up there in my top 5 best in NYC now. The Chocolate Croissant is also insanely good, and their more unique offering, the Pistachio Chocolate Pain Suisse, is an absolute must. I will be back ASAP to try more, especially as they mentioned there would be several weekend special items.

They offered a Palomita because I don't like a lot of milk in iced lattes. Excellent.

exxxxxsqueeze me?? why does this location only have 3.8 stars on yelp (at the time of writing)?? y'all are tripppin. something ain't right bc paloma is THAT girl. and that girl knows how to bake!! gosh i love this bakery so much so that my bf and i come here at least once a week, usually on a weekend (see below) and my bf is a regular of their other non-bakery location in greenpoint. the selection you find here won't necessarily exist at her other locations and vice versa. but from this location you MUST get - reuben croissant (only on weekends): unreal. 10000/10. MUST get if you love reubens. - margherita croissant (only on weekends): 10/10 pizza in croissant form - sausage roll (only on weekends): 10/10 they use an asian/japanese sausage here and iykyk that asian sausages hit diff - ham and cheese croissant (available daily and at her other locations): 10/10 paloma's take on a classic ham and cheese w pickled raisins to cut thru it all. amazing! - brownie croissant (newly/recently saw this was available at her other greenpoint location): SHAMAZING. 10/10.crispy bottom with hazelnut deliciousness up top. - crème brûlée croissant (saw that they sometimes have it at her other greenpoint location): 10/10 a mix of cream brûlée and a portuguese egg tart on a buttery flaky crust (lol). deeelishhhh! you really cannot go wrong with anything else, truly. i wish they carried the miso white chocolate chip cookies that are available at her other greenpoint location bc they are sooooo dang good. one of my favorite cookies in the whole city. paloma is a neighborhood - iykyk and if you don't.. well sucks for you! jk now you know! like ppl are regulars here and the service is nice, friendly and engaging while respectful of your space. the ever so popular radio bakery is not TOO far from here of her other greenpoint location but i've been choosing to come here rather than radio bc 1. no lines and 2. the selection is just as avant garde and adventurous as radio's. i love that they rotate flavors and take nontraditional takes of traditional items and always, always, always kills it! paloma is like that cool tumblr girl from hs that casually went to an ivy league and now is working as the head of design at some super forward thinking company like gentle monster (look up gentle monster's approach to store design). i know that's oddly specific but am i painting you a picture? the only thing that i think MAYBE might contribute to the score isn't about her baked goods (which is and should be the main focus since this is a BAKERY) but the drinks at this location, specifically the matcha, isn't well blended and i always end up with clumps. there's a few bar seating and outdoor tables available but paloma is generally a "take your dranks and goods and go on your merry way" type of spot.

Great coffee and incredible savory/sweet pastries. Go to spot! The Mortadella croissant, Peach tart, and Tropicalia croissant are especially great.

Strawberry guava cruffin was yum, the almond croissant was too dense, great salted double chocolate cookie, coffee was good. Will be back to try other baked goods!

Fantastic almond croissant, apparently they soak the almonds in orange water 12/10 tasty. Super cute little cafe & nice staff

Good coffee, but skip their chai and other teas (not great!). Friendly and fast service. There's not much in terms of seating so best if you take your drink and food to go.

Awesome pastries but awful customer service! The employees could not have been more rude to me during my brief time at Paloma, and it's a shame because their pastries are just so good. Hope to see some new faces if I ever go back to this bakery!

I was visiting NYC and on June 27 walking around the green point area of Brooklyn and saw a craftsman coffee shop Paloma Coffee located at 772 Manhattan Ave Brooklynn. I am not a regular daily coffee drinker, but occasionally enjoy a good quality cup of coffee. For the curiosity I ordered a fresh dripping coffee (Americano) for myself and a latte for my friend. With the first sip I was so satisfied with the the flavor and taste. It doesn't have a typical French roast's smoky bitterness taste, but more subtle sweetness at the finish with stone fruit and a little peppery flavor. Then the pastry got my attention and I bought 2 pieces. It tasted amazing. At the end I bought 8 bag freshly roasted coffee from single to multiple origin with different source of the countries and flavors. I gave some bags as gift to my friends after coming home (great Seattle area WA state).
