Churrascaria Plataforma Review - Hell's Kitchen - New York - The Infatuation

"If all-you-can-eat dining experiences make you think of breakfast buffets in Vegas, you might be hesitant to pay $69 for one in Hell’s Kitchen. But replace lukewarm pancakes with glistening ribeyes and bacon-wrapped filet mignon, and you’ll change your tune. For proof, head to Churrascaria Plataforma. Opt for the rodizio (all-you-can-eat), and the barrage of grilled meats will continue as long as you leave your coaster green-side-up. You’ll also have access to the salad and feijoada bars inside the stadium-sized restaurant, but make sure to save space for a couple rounds of the leg of lamb before you flip your coaster red-side-up. It’s salty and juicy, yet charred and incredibly gamey, and it’s the best thing here." - Matt Tervooren

Google
I got to say I was super excited to eat here and was super disappointed. When we came in we were put on a 15 minute wait no problem but there was literally 8 tables in the restaurant. That would have been our sign. When we were finally sat it took over 10 minutes to get a server to come to get our drink order. We had already gone to the bar and all 5 of us got food and had 3 different people come by to bring meats. The food wasn’t special but was good, if the service was at least good it would have made it a better experience. Overall all the meats and sausages were great the chicken wrapped bacon was not our favorite. There are better places in Vegas to eat, I wouldn’t recommend it or waste your money.

I bought a Groupon and made a reservation for my partners birthday yet they did not do a birthday song or cake for him. Our server was super friendly and when it came to us paying the end of the tab we informed her we were here from out of town for his birthday and she wanted to do a cake a song but we were too full at that point and declined. Food was great, service was great and the cheese bread and salad bar were really tasty. You do get full fast with all the different types of meat but it was cooked to perfection. My one recommendation is that to hostess at the front check each reservation carefully so that birthdays are not missed, I was disappointed that my partner didn’t get a song and birthday cake at the end without being asked.

First time visiting a brazilian steakhouse. Food was decent including the salad bar area and all the meats. Some of the steak was super rare and not even warm. I ordered an alcoholic drink and I think the waitress totally forgot and then brought when we were almost ready to leave. By that time I really didnt want it but figured they would charge me anyway, so I drank a few sips but it was a total waste. We only saw our waitress upon setting and to bring my drink. Service could have been better. She didnt checked on us once. Everyone was pretty friendly tho. A lady comes around and takes ur picture and i was like oh thats so nice, but then they come to give u the picture and want to charge you More money. I can see why they make gratuity 18% mandatory because otherwise people wouldnt be giving much of a tip for this kind of service so instead they gaurantee the staff gets a great tip. This gives them no reason or motivation to be good at their job. So instead they just do the bare minimum because it doesn't matter they get tipped no matter the service received. I doubt we will take our business here when visiting again in a few months. There are plenty of other places to go. Located inside the Miracle Mall.

Alex was our waiter, and he did an absolutely amazing job taking care of us for my birthday. While I didn’t enjoy the cakes or cheesecake (I’m more of a plain Jane), Alex still made the moment special by bringing over a plate of pineapples dipped in cinnamon—delicious and thoughtful! He even had the little robot come over to sing Happy Birthday, which made the whole experience even more memorable. Alex went above and beyond, and the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be back!

Come to Pampas in the past and enjoyed the food and a little vibe, but this time disappointed. Purchased a coupon $100+ for 2 people and made reservation. Then we were misquoted pricing for taxes $29.19 vs $7.54 upon entering dining area. We didn’t notice charge until after. But in the mist of dinner my husband got sick….and later that evening so did I. When he made attempts to rectify either the hostess and/or supervisor kept disconnecting the call! Very unprofessional and then another male supervisor had the audacity to threaten to call the police! The experience was quite the opposite from the previous visit. You can keep it

Google
We had lunch here and the salad bar, meats and dessert were disappointing. The salad bar lacked flavor and freshness. Everything seemed to be dried out and bland. The meats were over cooked, tough and overly salted. Between the two desserts we got, the only good one was the tiramisu, the other was a cheesecake. While the presentation was the nice the cheesecake crust was salty and bitter. The only enjoyable part of our meal were the mocktails we got. The passion fruit ginger mule and the strawberry mule were great. Our waiter was attentive but it kinda felt like they were rushing us out.

Google
What can I say other than great experience. I thought I was going to eat a lot, but I was sadly mistaken. They just kept bringing different meats and I couldn't say no, except for the pork. They have this apple chicken sausage that is 🔥. The lamb would be next in line. And the steak, there was so many but one stuck out. The people that brought out the meat were cool and funny. I would go back, but I would have to take out another loan for the price. I'm just kidding, but the price is up there.

Google
Came to celebrate my husband’s birthday over the weekend, & decided to stop by at Pampas. Soon as you arrive, you have friendly staff & quick with your order for drinks. There’s a photographer with complimentary post card photos that they come by your table to snap of you & family if you’d like, & several prints for you to take home. All you can eat & delicious cocktails. My favorite Kale Apple Salad was yummy! Meat selection is really good, get Derryck to find you your favorite choice of meat - thank you for checking on that picanha, & delivering straight to me ASAP, BTW! - definitely worth the visit. Make sure to call for reservations just to be safe.

Ray was the best, always checked in on us and drinks never went dry. Chipper and friendly without over the top

Yelp
Probably one of the best birthday dinners I've ever had in my life!! Definitely recommend it!! My boyfriend made my tummy very happy !!! And that's usually hard to do!! Not only was basically every single cut of meat so juicy and buttery, but it was some of the tastiest meats I've ever had in my life!! Now, I usually can't chew too well so mostly cooked medium well or well done I can't usually eat.... But NOT HERE!! (: I could eat ALMOST every piece of meat they brought us!!! Def recommend the endless shrimp and meat!! Oh ya and they have a buffet too that's pretty dang good! But my favorite part was definitely they're Pineapple!!! OH MY GAWD!!!!
google avatar

Barbara W.

Yelp
The service was good, and the ambience was fine. A little noisy for my taste. You definitely don't have to wait very long for the meat to arrive, and they have quite a selection of meats. My personal favorite was the chicken wrappedin bacon.

Yelp
Came here since I got a coupon for 50% off all you can eat. I have to say, I have tried 3 other Brazilian steak houses, so I would like to consider myself not an ignoramus of Brazilian steakhouses and how they should work and taste. This is an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse, which I find is the norm for Brazilian steakhouses. The salad bar here is par the course. It has a pretty good selection and the quality is good and salad flavors are quite good. The little stock-card square which is used to indicate to the servers if you are "ready" for more meat or "not ready yet" are the norm. A caveat is that the pineapple is not part of the regular item selections, one must order it a la carte for an additional charge along with seafood items. That was a little disappointing. My daughter and I are frequent water drinkers, however our host informed us that drinks are an additional charge. Everyone seems quite friendly, but not as attentive as other places I have been where one is checked on frequently. The reason for the 2 stars is primarily because of the meats. They are so dry. It is so disappointing. We got the usual medium rare. This is the cooking style where the meat is juicy and tender. This however was dry and tough and chewy, and not because it was a sirloin. It was a disappointing encounter. Too bad as this is my last meal in Vegas for my vacation.

Yelp
This steakhouse is located within Planet Hollywood at the mall. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by two young ladies and seated immediately. Our waiter, Gabby, introduced herself and explained how the service works before taking our drink orders. We then visited the salad bar, which, while smaller than expected, offered a nice selection of items, including Romaine and leaf lettuce and about four different dressings. I've posted a video of the salad bar. After returning to our table, we placed our card on the green side, and the meat service began. The meats were very flavorful and well-seasoned, which I highly appreciated. However, the Spicy Margarita was disappointing. Its red color was alarming, and the taste was reminiscent of hot sauce, which caused a burning sensation and heartburn for about 10 minutes. The manager was very courteous and made me an original margarita, which was excellent. Thank you! Finally, the location is noteworthy. The restaurant is inside the hotel/mall complex, and the ceilings are painted to resemble the sky. Occasionally, you can hear light thunder, creating the feeling of dining on an outdoor patio. Across the hall, there are windows and flowers, giving the impression of a charming storefront. The design is ingenious. I almost forgot to mention: your picture will be taken, and before you check out, they print them out for you to purchase as a keepsake. Even if you don't buy the photo, they gift you a complimentary 4x6 print with the restaurant's name, date, and time of your dining experience.

Yelp
Great service and good food. This place is hard to find. Look for Gen BBq and it is next door. I want to take pictures of the salad bar so you get an idea what is included in your meal. They charge $7 for bottle water, but overall good value and selection is good.

Yelp
Pampas is located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Casino, and is walkable from the strip. That is unless you're on your second day of wearing heels, wearing a wrap dress and competing with a wind advisory. After recombobulating on arrival, our party of 7 was lucky enough to be seated in the small private room located across from reception. The setting and ambiance was quite lovely, although I personally thought the table could have been a tad bit bigger considering each person had 2 plates and 2 glasses. Still, the space was big enough to accommodate our main server (who was very friendly, attentive and accommodating) and the constant influx of others who presented and distributed the various assortment of tender, juicy and flavorful meats. The market table and hot side bar offered a nice variety of options, suitable for most tastes. If you prefer not to embark on the stomach stuffing all you can eat rodizio meats, there are plenty of other options to choose from, including seafood, ribs and brisket. If you still have room after dinner, there is always dessert, with the tiramisu being very good. If you have not tried a Brazilian steakhouse before, and are in Vegas, I recommend giving Pampas a try. Reservations are highly recommended as tables fill up fast.

Yelp
Pampas - Las Vegas 3663 Las Vegas Blvd., #610 Las Vegas, Nevada 89109 702-737-4748 702-737-4746 As a first-time diners at the Brazilian Pampas style restaurant adjacent to Planet Hollywood in the Las Vegas Miracle Mile, we were left underwhelmed by the overall dining experience. Despite the heavily advertising and enticing 50% off coupons distributed to passerby's, the reality of the dining experience fell short of expectations.Upon entering, my party was immediately segregated to a distant corner of the restaurant, far from the lively ambiance of the music and kitchen. The promised variety of spit-roasted meats, including picanha, lombo, linguica, and roasted chicken, failed to materialize fully, with no other meats making the rounds during our visit. While the side dishes offered some redemption, with highlights like tasty garlic rice, the experience was marred by limited options, including disappointing black bean stew and the absence of promised fried plantains. Surprisingly, the standout items were the garlic rice and the well-done picanha, despite our preference for rarer steaks. Service, unfortunately, mirrored the lackluster dining experience. Despite the concept of unlimited rodizio meats, the service barely scraped a two-star rating. Drinks were slow to circulate, and the wait staff displayed a serious, introverted and unfriendly demeanor, save for one meat server who showed initiative in attending to our needs. Although the food showed promise, the slow sloth-like service and unengaging wait staff detracted from our overall dining experience. While I hope for improvement upon a return visit, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment without significant enhancements to both service quality and consistency. Yelp
My recent visit to Pampas in Las Vegas was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we signed up for the reservation with Leeshanea to the final toast, every aspect of our experience was flawless. Our servers, Alex and Alvin, played a significant role in making our evening memorable. They were both incredibly attentive and personable, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the night. His recommendations were spot on, and he effortlessly accommodated all our requests with a genuine smile. It's rare to find such dedicated and enthusiastic service, and they both truly set the bar high. We had the pleasure of celebrating my wife's graduation at Pampas, and the staff went above and beyond to make the occasion special. They allowed us to decorate the room, adding a personal touch that made the evening feel even more festive and intimate. The atmosphere was perfect for such a milestone celebration. The manager also deserves a special mention for his kindness and proactive assistance. I failed to get his name. He checked in with us several times during the evening to ensure everything was to our liking. His professionalism and warm demeanor added to the overall positive experience. The food was, of course, outstanding. Every dish was prepared to perfection, and the flavors were simply exquisite. Whether it was the succulent meats, the fresh salads, or the delightful desserts, each bite was a testament to the culinary excellence that Pampas is known for. In summary, Pampas provided an unforgettable dining experience. The combination of exceptional service from Alex, the accommodating and friendly manager, and the delightful food made our celebration a resounding success. If you're looking for a restaurant in Las Vegas that offers both outstanding cuisine and top-notch service, Pampas should be at the top of your list.

Yelp
Not it. I'm from Texas and out there the Brazilian steakhouses are truly an experience. Not this place though. They boasted about having a good variety of choices in meats coming around, but didn't deliver. The service was cool. The people were nice. But the food and the selections did not land well. The dining wasn't as intimate as it should've been. Most of the setting was blocked off. Overall I wouldn't come back here. Even with the discounted voucher we got.

Yelp
Food is served too late and the same food is served over and over again. I made a reservation through yelp, but it said the reservation was not made, so I checked the confirmation email and confirmed the reservation.

Yelp
Every time we walked past this place it was packed! So, why not try it. Open table can set reservations for you instead of waiting. You ate escourted to your table by a robot. After being sat the server approaches and explained how it all works. We went to the salad bar. Very traditional salad bar and didn't really have too many South Anerican dishes, more traditional US dishes such as baled ziti, black beans, and cheesy potatoes. Ensure to grab a second plate for the meat that will come around. I'm used to Brazilian Steakhouses that have all different temps of meat. What waa coming out waa more well done which was not to my liking. Also, we were in a back corner so we were missed several times around. Our server was very attentive and ensured he had the meat serves make their way over. Unfortunately, the meat was still dry and over cooked. Another young lady cane by and saw that we weren't satisfied and had a plate full of fresh meat brought to our table. Some were really good yet others were over cooked and the cut of meat could have been better. I'm thinking this was a bad night for the kitchen as they can't stay that packed every night if this happened all the time. The service was amazing and they did everything that they could to go above and beyond, hence the reason for 4 stars vs less. I would give them a try again to see if it was just a bad might or not.

Yelp
We came off from a Groupon and had a good experience. The staff was all very friendly, our server was funny and attentive. The steak cuts were all very good and if you wanted something specific they would bring that person back to give it to you. The non steak items were ok. My biggest complaint is that they had pork in almost everything. In every salad they had it was in it. Potato gratin was good and the plantains were very good. Would like if they added some sort of dessert, even just a cookie. But, they want to upsell you on the other options they have. They do nickel and dime you here, but I did have a good experience and would come back again.

Yelp
I was so happy to find a groupon for a restaurant in Las Vegas as I like to prepare myself for various places to try. Walking in, we waited to be seated then escorted by the Kitty robot to our table near the front. Initially we were told that the groupon only covers chicken, pork, and beef along with the buffet which at the time I was totally OK since it was lunch time and I didn't need much. The place was nicely decorated, perhas antigua Portugal or an old Italian restaurant but it made sense, a little confusing since the columns made some areas a little tight to squeeze in but not hard to look for what you need. For drinks, I decided to skip the alcohol and go with water as well for my partner. We were brought a bottle of Acqua Panna, a little fancy for my taste but I figured i'd be complimentary along with the food right? We go to the buffet and I have to say that the selection was not bad, just not great but hey for $25 per person, what do you expect right? I prepared myself a salad and got a couple of the Pao de Queijo and sat on our table. The buffet was clean on the cold salads side but a little on the messier side where they had the hot plates (beans, rice, soups, etc.) which is expected on buffets. As we sat, one of the servers brought us the chicken leg sword, I got one as I awaited the other cuts of meat but the chicken was pretty good, nicely cooked and seasoned and quite pleased with it. Then another server came with sausage, Ok it wasn't any cut of meat and skipped on it since I was not in the pork mood. Kept eating my food and then finally had the sirloin steak sword come by, I received a nice small piece that was medium which I was pleased with both the portion and the temperature since I wanted to leave room for more meat cuts however it never happened. The chicken leg, the sausage, pork loin, and the sirloin steak were the only meats that they offered, nothing else! I wanted to try different cuts but no, I guess when you have a groupon meats are limited and had to just enjoy another salad from the buffet. Then the bill came! Yes a bill. Why? IDK I figured that it was all taken care of from the groupon and all I had to pay was a tip right? nope, it came out to an additional $25 for taxes and the bottled water! I thought water was complimentary in most restaurants and I wish I was told about the fees especially since I came in here with a "Deal" (obviously, I was trying to be a bit frugal) and you'd think they can be a little more transparent about the extra fees. The buffet is originally $37.99 and with the groupon it was about $25 per person but ultimately paid regular price w/ the bottled water and taxes (without the included tip, always tip your server!) I have been to many Brazilian steakhouses and never experienced a lack of meats, their website states all the types that they offer at the restaurant but we were only presented with 4/10. I should have asked for the other meat cuts but I was over it by then, if you come here please let the kind servers know that you want to try their other cuts.

Yelp
Pretty cool to see a "late night promotion" on the Strip. With late night starting at 8pm - it's a super reasonable time especially when most late night promo pricing for other places start more around 10pm and later. It's in the Miracle Mile restaurant row area and the first plus is their service. The late night rodizio includes fewer meats (five instead of 14) and includes one hour of unlimited beer or wine. It's a great deal if you like to get your drink on! Upon being seated in the "outside but inside" area we were greeted by our server who took our drinks and said we could immediately visit the cold and hot foods bar. The hot bar had some nice rodizio staples - rice, potatoes au gratin, plantains (yum), green beans, tortilla soup and black beans. The cold bar has salad with cheeses, nice toppings and some cold meats. As soon as I sat down at the table with my plate the meats were already coming. If you don't want them to start putting meats on your hot/cold foods plate, just grab a second clean plate from the same area. The meats that came around were definitely more than the five that was included in late night so that was cool - a bonus! I enjoyed the beef/steaks the most as they were cooked medium rare. Some had a garlic flavor so that was nice. I liked the smoky and spicy sausages. The ham was as you would expect but still good. There is a bacon wrapped chicken which two of the rounds were quite dry and the third time the guy came around it was juicy. There was also a bacon wrapped steak - but it was also a bit on the well done side. Overall, all the servers and the host staff were really friendly! This made for a great experience. The Strip is often a very expensive place to dine but this was a good deal and for an AYCE with unlimited one hour of beer/wine is an excellent deal! I think even if you don't get all 14 meats it's no big deal - there's plenty of variety to fill up on!

Yelp
Horrible experience for my husband's 50th birthday dinner. We were traveling with our dog. Unfortunately, our other dog unexpectedly passed away the week before our trip to Vegas and our living dog was not handling it well. We had expected to leave them at our hotel together while we went out, but she was struggling with both grief and separation anxiety. That meant we could only go places we could take her with us. Luckily we had a stroller that fully closes to keep her contained. I approached Pampas in the afternoon (approximately 130pm) and wheeled my dog right up to the check in counter. I asked if they allowed dining with my dog enclosed in a stroller. The female that was working exclaimed absolutely!! You just have to sit in the tables outside the entrance and she explained that we would not be allowed to take her to the salad bar area. I was so excited and happy at how helpful she had been. I asked if they had a reservation available for later that day. She booked me and my husband a 615pm reservation for his 50th birthday dinner. I confirmed before walking away that she had notated that we needed an outside seat to have our dog with us. She confirmed it was noted. We arrived for dinner at approximately 620pm. I went to check in for our reservation while my husband waited outside the restaurant. I was immediately treated horribly. They told me the person that booked my reservation hadn't notated anything about me having a dog with me. They insisted they do not allow dogs at the restaurant. I was then advised I needed to speak with a manager. I waited and waited for the manager. Finally after several minutes of waiting I turned around to see the manager berating my husband who was standing with my dog in the stroller near the outside dining area. I walked over to try and explain what happened and why we were there. I explained that I had been to the restaurant in person earlier in the day to set this up so there was no confusion. She would not listen and said curtly... your dog is showing signs of not being a service animal. I replied that I never said she was a service animal. If I had said she was a service animal we would not be having this conversation. My dog would be allowed to be with me inside the restaurant and the salad bar area. I NEVER tried to play off my dog being a service dog. That manager was so rude. Didn't care at all about the position HER untrained employee had put us in. She needs a different job as this one is not for her. Now, 630pm and no dinner reservations. Don't go to this restaurant. The manager is awful and you can tell she trained the awful employees. Been here several times through the years. Some experiences great and some just so so. We won't be back.

Yelp
The food was flavorful, but the gauchos (meat servers) were elusive and made for a frustrating experience. Unlimited Rodizio is all you can eat lunch that costs $36.99. They don't leave the meat service card on the table at the start, so you can load up on fillers from the market table & hot side bar. Picanha Nobre (Noble Top Sirloin): served medium rare the first time and rare for seconds. The beef was tender and nearly perfect after adding salt, 9/10 rating. Pork Sausage: this was surprisingly tasty. The freshness created savory and juicy bites, 8.5/10. Garlic Sirloin: this was tender, and the garlic was more subtle than at other restaurants, 7.5/10. Garlic Rice: the rice was soft and fluffy, while infused with garlic and maybe chicken broth or bouillon, 8/10. Cheese Bread: the cheese and bread were a bit firm but still moderately flavorful, 7/10. Ham: typical mild salt & pork flavors, but it had a nice char, 7.5/10. Grilled Pineapple ($6.99): the best I've had and worth the extra cost, 10/10 rating! Chimichuri: this was herbaceous, which enhanced the meats, 8/10. Our main server was adequate, but the gauchos would bring out freshly cooked meats and only serve a couple tables before returning to the kitchen. Due to this unorthodox practice at a Brazilian steakhouse, we've lost about five opportunities to consume more of the premium offerings. Another negative is that they've place all of the diners only in the front section of the restaurant, so this would appeal to the people walking within the area. The issue is that the diners are packed into one room, which provides less privacy and more noise. Meanwhile, the dining area near the hot side bar is vacant. Lastly, a slow robot directs you to your table, and you'll have to be patient while following it. I understand that management wants to provide a unique experience, but for all the wrong reasons. Generally, people do not want to draw attention during the seating process, as the robot plays obnoxiously loud music. Not only is this disruptive while dining, but this also creates an awkward setting that is only experienced here.

Yelp
We were here with a large group, but they servers were all so efficient and kind. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Don't eat too many of the sides or you won't have room for all the delicious proteins they bring around! Alex was our server and was AWESOME!!!! He made sure our drinks stayed full for our entire stay and read my mind when it came to the drinks I wanted. Thank you Alex for taking care of me and my friends!

Yelp
First things first, our waiter Alex was fantastic! He was great, so attentive on bringing out drinks, informing us of specials and just a wonderful person to speak to in general! If he's working, I'd request him! I made a reservation on Yelp about an hour before and they couldn't find it in the system, but they were able to seat us at that time anyway. Upon checking in we told the girl at the front that we had a deal from our hotel AND a gift card to pay afterwards and she replied "okay great your server can handle the payments!" Skip forward to the meal and the good stuff. The food here was very good, we tried maybe 4-5 meats that went around on dowels-- bacon wrapped chicken, top sirloin, garlic beef and pork sausage. I liked them all, but my favorite was the bacon wrapped chicken. They had several gentlemen walking around with meat ready to serve you and it people took about 7-10 mins in between different types of meats. The side bar had lots of options as well like potatoes au gratin, an olive mix, tomatoes with basil & mozzarella, salami and prosciutto. They had various fruits and a lot of different kinds of salads and a couple of soups, sauces and rice & beans. They had a $20 unlimited for an hour well drinks package and a $35 package that included a few fancier drinks. Great package. We sat on the indoor patio in the mall and got to people watch as they walked by. It wasn't too noisy or anything. Our issues came when we were trying to pay at the front. We were informed that our gift card was no longer being honored and they kept saying it was a promotional card rather than a gift card. The card literally said it was worth $50, and had the words "gift card" printed on it. We went respectfully back and forth with the ladies up front and they ended up getting their manager who was saying the same thing "it's a promotion that we no longer honor." Anyways, the manager Joe finally agreed to honor it and we paid what we expected. I left my hat here and realized it about 30 mins later and went back to ask for it, the first girl who was involved in the gift card said they didn't find a hat, then another girl who wasn't involved was like "oh you mean this hat?" So luckily I got it back and I apologized for the misunderstanding earlier. All in all, the food was good and we are thankful to have had Alex as a server and that Joe honored the gift card, BUT I don't think we'll be back as it was a lot of drama for a place that so many places in the strip have "promotional deals" with... and gift cards.

Yelp
I attended a group function and the food was very good. Brazilian BBQ is hard to mess up and at Pampas they are far from that. I think the atmosphere was perfect for the event. Service and management were not as ready as they needed to feed a group of 150, but they successfully struggled thru it. Good job, a word of advice bring all the servers in for a large event.

Yelp
Reconsider before taking the plunge and coming here. We decided to try this place due to the 4* review during our last night in Vegas. Made reservations through Yelp for 8 PM. The restaurant is located in the Miracle Mile shops next to Planet Hollywood. When we arrived the hostess said there was 1 party ahead of us. As we sat and waited another party of 4 came in. The people in front of us were finally seated then she decided to seat the party after us. 20 minutes after our reservation time, we were finally seated. We then waited another 15 minutes for our waiter. Salad bar was dismal and the meats were even worst. The cheese breads which are normally our favorite were hard and cold. They claim to cook their meats medium to medium rare but most were well done. The people bringing out the meats would either skip tables or just turn around and go back into the kitchen. Worst meal of our trip.

Yelp
It's a beautiful place, with an amazing food. The food was fresh and very tasty, the sausage was very similar to the Brazilian sausage, the filet on bacon, picanha and the Cole slaw with blue cheese was PERFECT!! The only thing missing was the chicken hearts. Besides that, the service was great, Claudio was helpful and fast. Thank you so much for this amazing dinner.

Yelp
It was ok. A lot of the meat tasted the same. Could have used more flavors. The salad bar was great.

Yelp
In the mood for some Brazilian BBQ on the Las Vegas strip? Then make your way to the Miracle Mile Shops and go to Pampas for an all you can eat experience! We had a toddler with us and the staff were kind enough to seat us in the outside perimeter of the restaurant to allow for enough space to park the stroller and to be away from the inside noise of the restaurant. We enjoyed the salad bar which was located at the back of the restaurant and had Brazilian BBQ favorites such as the cheese bread, chimichurri dipping sauce, and plantains to name a few. There are clean restrooms located to the right of the restaurant after the bar. The hostess and staff were very accommodating and acknowledged the 20% discount we had for being HGV members. The meat staff were able to find us and catered to the request of meats being medium. I also appreciated that they did not have the green and red marker, it was ok just to say "no, thank you", if you weren't wanting anymore proteins. The server, Izzy, was very helpful and checked on us often, good job to her being so attentive. I also enjoyed the flavor of the Brazilian lemonade which had coconut juice added. There is a Yelp Check-in for 50% off dessert, however since I already had a 20% discount, I wasn't able to use both offers. I recommend you let the server and staff know if you prefer certain meats and how you would like them cooked so they can present the meats to you based on your liking. The server also offered A1 sauce or Sriracha, but we were fine with the chimichurri sauce and didn't need any dipping sauces really because the flavor of the meat was a natural flavor on its own that needed no condiments to complement. So if you want Brazilian food in the city of Las Vegas, then look no further and go to Pampas!

Yelp
Horrible service. Bland food. Rude server and manager. We came for the late night special. Being that I had gastric bypass I knew I wouldn't be able to eat much so I chose the late night special specifically because I cannot eat a lot... so the meat choices would be perfect. From the moment the staff knew we ordered the late night special they were rude. Instead of asking if we wanted to upgrade or why. They just treated us like shit. I'm in the service industry so I always tip good service really well - always at least 50% of the bill. So if we had good service I still would have tipped 50 %of the full price. But nooooo they pegged us as the cheap people and ignored us. When I went to get the manager to give us our check so we could leave... she was very rude, did not apologize for our server disappearing and just dropped the check off and walked away. Not a care in the world about why I even needed her. Needless to say we won't be back. Do not waste your money here. Go to Fogo de Chao instead.

Yelp
My family and I visited Vegas for Thanksgiving break. We decided to try Pampas Brazilian BBQ on Nov. 23. It was really easy to make a Yelp reservation in advance which I really appreciated. We also had a Groupon which came out to around $100 for the four of us. Not bad for AYCE! The setup was really enjoyable. There was a good selection at the "Market Table" which is like a salad bar. They offered salads, veggies, some breads, soups, rice, beans, and more. Don't fall for these traps before they bring out the meats! Our favorites included the picanha (sirloin cap), Tri tip, and garlic Tri tip. We were also pleasantly surprised by the Turkey and chicken leg. They were both super tender and flavorful. I find that some restaurants try to "cover up" the meat quality by adding sauces and oils, but there was none of that here! The meat was fresh and flavorful. For dessert, we tried the apple and pumpkin pies from the market table. Both were nothing too special, but were a nice addition to the meal. I really appreciated the service. The staff were all attentive and it was easy to get more servings of meat. They even came by to take a family photo for us! My only complaint was the water. They didn't provide any "normal" water and were charged $7 per bottle. This was ridiculous! We only found out after we were given the bill! Parking was also not cheap ($20). So, on one hand we thought we were getting a good deal from the Groupon, but still ended up paying for the $7 water, $20 parking, $10 picture souvenir, and around $20 in tips, which almost made it not worthwhile for us. It is definitely an experience we will remember, but our stomachs and wallets need a break!

Yelp
We came here because friends of ours had lunch vouchers after sitting through a time share presentation. We were sat right away and greeted by a server quickly. People came around often with meat. The salad bar had a large selection as did the hot bar. The salad bar was my favorite part. The meat quality however was not great. The best thing I had was some chicken. I wouldn't return without a voucher. I couldn't imagine paying full price for the quality of meat they were serving. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was very good but very expensive as are most drinks in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Good food, good service, and the vibe was fantastic. I can't get any more straight to the point than that. I forgot to take menu pictures, but the food was decent. The salad bar was real good. Seafood salad, broccoli salad, potatoes au gratin. It was all pretty good. The steak was too rare and chewy for my liking. But the chicken and chicken sausage was great. Overall good experience.

Yelp
Pampas was a pleasant experience overall! I was looking for somewhere close to my hotel where I could dine solo and work for a couple hours. I was drawn in by the friendly greeter, who offered me a coupon for half off lunch. They also had reliable wifi so I was able to post up on my computer. I was led to my table by an eclectic little robot, who played Levitating by Dua Lipa during the walk to the table. Interesting experience, and I would probably prefer a human do it, but it was cute and made me smile. It was fun and entertaining to watch her lead future patrons to their tables and see their reactions! I sat at a table in the bar area, and the restaurant also has an outside section and a back section. The outside section isn't really outside, it's in the hallway of the mall which is covered but it kind of feels like you're outside, and you are outside the main part of the restaurant. They also had a projector with a sports channel on in the bar area, so it would be a cool place to go and hang out to watch sports, especially a long game where you get unlimited food for as long as you want. The coupon included an unlimited salad bar and unlimited meats, the meat portion being the traditional staple and appeal of a Brazilian steakhouse. The salad bar was extensive, and included various kinds of salads including tortellini salad, coleslaw, etc as well as traditional lettuce with dressings and toppings. There were some hot dishes in this section that were also included, including rice, beans, fried plantains, veggies, soup, etc. The soup they had today was a cream of jalapeno, which was delicious. It was creamy, cheesy, and the perfect amount of spicy! Paired very well with the meats. The waiters come around with various meats on skewers, and you put the card on your table green side up if you want more meats and red side up if you don't want any more meats. The meats included chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken thigh, chicken and pork sausages, and various cuts of beef. I thought the frequency of the waiters asking was appropriate, and I didn't feel like they were coming over too much or too little, though one server did keep coming over even when my card was red but I didn't mind. I always prefer over service rather than under service! The service was great and the food was yummy, with the exception of one of the meats that I found a little bit dry. With the 50% off coupon, the pricing was quite low for unlimited food. Without the coupon, the price is $37.99 for the unlimited meats and salad bar, still not a bad deal for unlimited. I would recommend a visit for lunch or dinner if you're in the Miracle Mile Shops.

Yelp
Still pretty good. There have been some changes since my last visit. Last time, they gave me sides and salads as part of the lunch rodizio. Now, they have an unlimited self-serve salad/side bar. If you're on a budget, the lunch rodizio is much cheaper and almost the same thing.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at Brazilian Steakhouse! The customer service was top-notch and really stood out to me. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They were attentive throughout the meal, making sure that our drinks were always full and that we were satisfied with the food. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for their excellent service.

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed our dinner tonight at Pampas. We first encountered Rico at the entrance who shared wonderful family stories that made us want to come in and have dinner. The next person to meet was our terrific waiter Alex. Alex was very attentive and took care of us. In fact the entire staff at Pampas were great. So if you are looking for great food and exceptional service, stop by Pampas and treat yourself to tasty Brazilian dinner!

Yelp
Second visit here to Pampas Las Vegas. Our first visit was a year ago and to my recollection the service and quality of meats was exceptional. This was our Christmas Day dinner with my family and our dinner was priced at $67 per person, AYCE meats with salad bar. This time around my favorite cut - the Picanha was sadly a bit dry and under seasoned. My boys said the lamb cut was pretty good and juicy, as was the garlic and spicy Sirloin. Unfortunately, I think they do a bit too much upselling at this restaurant. Our bill was way more than we intended to spend. 1) Drinking water - if you don't want to spend $7 per bottle, you need to specifically ask for "tap or regular water". The server will ask if you want "flat or sparkling"...they are talking about bottled water and they will charge you per bottle. And they don't even ask how much bottles you want, they will just pour for everyone on your table. We got charged for 2 for our table of 6, that's $14 for 2 bottles of water. 2) They asked if we would like some grilled pineapple which we said yes because it's delicious. But then again, they don't ask how much we want, they served us 2 for our table of 6, that's another $15 for 2 servings of pineapple. I believe 1 serving would have been sufficient for all of us. 3) Then they asked if we wanted lobster, man....am I glad I said NO to that, I'm sure that would have been market price. 4) We ordered a bottle of red wine and they made a suggestion that pairs well. But I should have asked about the price because it was a $75 bottle of wine. Like seriously? I would have been fine with a more reasonably priced bottle like 30-50$ bottle of wine, but $75 was a bit of a stretch for me. Our bill came out to about $450. Luckily we had a small discount to put a dent in our bill but still....we could have done without all the extra upsales. From now on, I will probably never say yes automatically to anything again and will always be suspicious of every offer and recommendation. Great service should always include honesty and transparency, especially since we the patrons spend our hard earned money at your establishments and not all of us have the luxury to spend extra. I really feel like we splurged unwillingly and that's not a very good feeling...

Yelp
We come here almost every time we go to Vegas. The family usually enjoys the food and we have a good time. We went a couple days ago and unfortunately it was not a good experience. My wife/kids didn't enjoy any of the 4 cuts of steak and didn't enjoy the other options either. Not sure what happened here. Maybe the quality has gone down? Also the cheese bread went from being amazing to dry and stale :(

Yelp
I came into this dining experience with much anticipation, only to be let left hanging, seeking more. When I heard our team dinner was going to be at Pampas, I had high hopes because I actually liked Pampas Grill at the LA Farmer's Market. Pampas LV is located in Planet Hollywood. It's highly encouraged to have reservations especially if going in bigger groups. We were seated pretty quickly and within the first 15 minutes, our drink orders have been taken and we were in line at the buffet to get the non-meat items that comes with the $60 dinner price. Not included in this review are any pictures of the somewhat disappointing steam and cold table items that were available for the advertised price point. There were a couple of cold salad items, beans and rice and breads. The meats did keep coming. The redeeming item of the dinner was the tiramisu dessert that I had taken to go. Desserts are an additional charge if you have room for it. Our server kept making sure that we were good with the food. The servers dressed as gauchos were polite and kept circling back. In comparison to Fogo de Chao, Pampas does not even scratch the surface. I also found Galpao Gaucho that's also in Vegas. Perhaps I'll try that next time.

Yelp
Delicious grilled chicken, sirloin steak and ham. The Salad bar was like no other, meaning it offered Brazilian vegetables and salads. I loved the Plantains, Brazilian style. The staff kept the salad bar stocked and clean. Our waitress was excellent & courteous. This restaurant is located conveniently near our favorite resorts, and inside a mall. Indoor dining for small to large group gatherings. Perfect for a Bridal Shower or any other occasion.

Yelp
Our family loved the experience. The meat selection was great. The frequency of the meat servers was good. We were able to get a great deal for 4 via Groupon. We will definitely come back year when we visit Vegas.
