"The delightfully pink French restaurant has been serving classic Southern French fare since 1976. Diners love the classic torched foie gras served with brioche triangles here, which is available a la carte or as an upgrade on the decadent prix fixe menu." - Krista Diamond

"Located close to the former Sahara, now the SLS, the vintage environment has been able to lure a steady stream of conventioneers and loyal locals to its romantically lit 'French cottage' interior, praised as a 'unique atmosphere' by chef Rick Moonen. Staffed with tuxedo-clad waiters, menu highlights include La Forge’s preparations of foie gras, escargot, osso bucco, baby wild boar, duck breast, and hot lava cake or chocolate souffle for dessert." - Susan Stapleton

The waiter handed me the bill and to stood in front of my table with my date in an attempt to put pressure on me to leave a good tip. I told him thank you and that was all for now. I left the standard 20% as I always do. Three minuets later The hostess came, asked me if I filled out the filled out a card in the check book, opened the check book, grabbed the receipt and preceded to explain the card to me. Shut the book and walked away. I won't be going there again. Oh and the food wasn't that great.

We selected Pamplemousse for a small wedding dinner after another restaurant that we enjoy said they could not accommodate us until much later than we needed. After reading the positive reviews online we felt that Pamplemousse would be a good 2nd choice. I am here to tell you that our experience was beyond our greatest expectations! Our party of 9 was treated like royalty and we were all blown away with two hours of the most amazing food and service we've ever enjoyed. This was not just a "really good dinner", it was a dining experience that all of us will remember forever! Our party ordered a variety of menu items and each one was exquisite. I can't say enough about John and his staff who served us with such personal care that we knew it would now be our first choice for a special evening and complete dining experience. Without a doubt this is now our personal #1 top choice as the best restaurant in the entire Las Vegas area! Thank you so much Pamplemousse le Restaurant!

The five-course dinner is highly recommended. The boar entree was amazing, and tasted more like a tender beef filet, it made me wonder if I was served the wrong item since I expected it to taste more like pork.

Well, that was the best wedding anniversary dinner to date! We highly recommend the restaurant and the experience! The service was commendable, and every dish was delightful! It's a little bit hidden away, but the ambience is very romantic and classy. Since we basically never get to do this, it turned out to be a very memorable meal! Food: Veggies in a basket with a French mustard vinaigrette + bread with olive tamponade + garlicky herb escargot + duck pate + Pamplemousse (gelato in champagne) + lamb shank with garlicky mashed potatoes + wild boar with rice + creme brulee + chocolate souffle + a surprise cherry nut ice cream! Thank you Pamplemousse!!

I can't begin to describe the perfection of this off-strip, authentic French restaurant. Vibrant wine list. We had the five course pre-fixe menu and could not have chosen wiser. From the crudette basket, lobster bisque and escargot in garlic cream sauce, to the grapefruit sorbet, wild boar, and wild caught salmon, to the creme brulette and chocolate soufle. Oh my gosh. The food was mouth watering perfection. The staff was friendly and informative. We will go back.
