The worst tres leche cake, it was super dry. I post pictures so u guys can see, there's a lot of the bread that is dry. I was very upset because is the 2nd time I order it and both time was the same. I gave it a 2nd change because my friend recommended this place and begged me to try it again. I'm definitely not going back.

I was really looking forward to getting some pastries and baked goods from this place. Unfortunately, combined with the poor service and lackluster sweets, I will not be returning. The bread on display looked dry and there were meat sandwiches sitting OUT (for however long). I decided to go with a mexican classic: esquite (corn in a cup) I didn't think this could be messed up. The esquite was sour from the lemon juice and way too salty. So...now I'm sad because I really wanted some corn. Bottom line: overpriced and poor quality goods/service.

Their pastel de tres leches is the best I've had in the north side ever since I moved from the south side and I just had their tamales de pollo en salsa verde were perfect !!! They used to have bad bread but they must of got a new baker because everything is tasty now !!

This bakery needs baking lessons. I bought some Mexican sweet bread. The bread turn out to be very hard. Is just very tasteless. I will NEVER buy cakes, or bread from this bakery again. I rather go to another REAL mexican bakery.

I have been enjoying this place for quite some time. I have always had a pleasant and satisfying expiriance. The tamales, the baked goods ,the flan ,the cakes and especially the churros have become a traditional pick up on the way to work for my coworkers boss and myself. The first time I came in to try this place I bought several baked goods and tamales the cheese and pepper ones, I was blown away. It took me back to mexico to my grandmothers cooking and baking every sunday morning in her sun lit kitchen drinking champurrado and watching her cook. Made me feel good. I appreciate the hard work of these bakers and staff. Thank you for all the goodies.

It's a lot of dry pastries which I think is a total loss. I came here on the grand opening night and never came back because the pastries were dry, and lacked flavor in not sure If this is just the traditional way? I haven't tried the cakes they offer, maybe that's where they are best at?

The tamales are really tasty. Pork with red sauce are the best ones. They're a dollar each. Other than that their pastries aren't that great and the workers are always a little weird.

Ive tried over a dozen of their pasties and they can vary...but I come back for the ham and jalapeño sandwiches. They are worth every cent and always fresh.
