Pita Panda was once a standout spot in Carmel Market, known for carefully crafted dishes and balanced flavors. On my recent visit, however, there was a noticeable decline in quality that left me disappointed.
I ordered a pulled chicken pita, expecting tender, juicy, and flavorful chicken. Instead, the portion was limited, the chicken was dry and lacked depth, and the dish was overwhelmed by herbs and seasoning rather than the meat itself. To make matters worse, there were pieces of cartilage in the pita, which made the texture unpleasant.
The service did little to improve the experience: when I politely shared my dissatisfaction, Ireceived a dismissive response from the staff– hardly what one expects from a place that once prided itself on customer care.
In short, Pita Panda has lost the culinary standards that once made it a beloved spot. Unless attention is returned to quality ingredients, balanced dishes, and professional service, the glory days are clearly behind them.
