Miami’s 17 Best Coffee Shops | Eater Miami

"As Miami’s most notable coffee establishment, Panther Coffee is arguably the shop that ushered South Florida’s new coffee wave. Its ever-popular original outpost in Wynwood is an artist sanctuary and a casual business spot for trendy Miamians. No matter the crowd, the demand is high for this coffee brewer who supplies coffee beans to every prominent restaurant in town." - Alona Martinez

Where To Hide From Traffic At 5:30 When There’s No F*cking Way You’re Getting On I-95

"The stretch of Biscayne Boulevard between 61st and 87th Street deserves to be punched in the face. MiMo generally sucks during rush hour, and if you don’t have the patience, your best bet is to pull over and hide out at Panther. It’s Miami’s best-known coffee shop and they have locations in Wynwood, Coconut Grove, Little Haiti, and South Beach. Honestly, all of the above will work for hiding from traffic, but the MiMo location is the best bet along this particularly hellish road. The coffee is excellent, you can see the road from inside, and the WiFi is strong in case you need to work." - ryan pfeffer

Panther Coffee MiMo Review - MiMo - Miami - The Infatuation

"Panther is Miami’s best-known coffee shop and they have locations in Wynwood, Coconut Grove, Little Haiti, and South Beach. The MiMo location is a cute little shop that’s great for a quick cup of coffee or sitting down to get some work done. Don’t leave without an almond croissant - if there are any left." - Ryan Pfeffer

Google
Panther Coffee in Miami is an absolute gem! I stopped by for an iced mocha, and wow—it was perfection. Smooth, rich, and just the right balance of chocolate and espresso. Every sip was pure bliss! But what really made the experience stand out was the team—super friendly, upbeat, and passionate about their craft. The vibe? Spot on. If you're in Miami and need a coffee fix, Panther Coffee is a must. 10/10, I’ll be back for more!

Google
ridiculously expensive... I paid almost $15 for these two items in the photo. It was good though and the shop is cute.

Christine Cusi

Google
Had their buko pandan latte and as a Filipino, I would say that it tastes like our dessert. Not bad at all.

Google
I feel I should be a bigger fan of Panther. They roast their own coffee, they have some stake in the business. I just bought their Brazilian Blend to try it at home. The Drinks they have brewed for me were not superb, but I can tell they care about coffee.

Yuri

Google
Neighborhood coffee shop serving delicious coffee and pastry from local shops. I had a macadamia latte along with a cream bambole and a blueberry muffin, and everything tasted delicious. Service was good and the place is clean.

Google
I've been going to panther since they opened in Winwood when I worked down there for years. I hadn't been in some time and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. To pay $20 for a cold brew and cold ham&cheese croissant is not a good feeling. When I say cold, I mean like out of the cooler cold. The edges were warm but the center wasn't even warm. I expect to pay premium prices at Panther, but I expect a premium experience.

Google
Pros: There’s parking Cons: Too expensive. $4 for a small regular coffee? New Whole foods down the block has much better selection.

Google
Pretty awkward atmosphere, food looks pale and uninteresting. I got a Nutella Croissant and it was bad, it had so little Nutella that it felt like a personal offence, and the plain croissant tasted like sadness. The Bomba was good in taste but hardly any cream also. Just get coffee there and move on nothing else is worth it.

Yelp
To my surprise they had this location a minute away from where I was. Very cute small space but the coffee was really good. Missed this spot and will be back soon. Of course, I took some coffee beans from Nicaragua - La Amistad.
google avatar

Cris M.

Yelp
I believe this spot is overpriced and overrated, unfortunately. The coffee was okay. The pastry they sold me was from Paolo Bakery... so not sure how to go about that. There was no parking available when I arrived and the place has about 3 tables for 2 people inside.
google avatar

L J.

Yelp
Good iced coffee. Creamy. Flavorful. Under staffed. Good air conditioning. Pastry okay.
google avatar

Sarah J.

Yelp
The coffee tastes fresh and my iced mocha was delicious. The staff was nice and the establishment was clean and sunny inside. There is street parking and some tables and chairs inside they also have breakfast sandwiches and pastries and sell beer as well! They sell tea and have many varieties of ground coffee for sale
google avatar

Annette D.

Yelp
The cappuccino is perfection. The best one i have had in Miami without question. Great vibes and helpful baristas.
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Pros: Chill ambiance, clean, fast service. I had their seasonal lavender honey coffee and it was delightful! There is also limited parking in the back. Cons: Limited seating and free parking, but there is plenty of metered parking.
google avatar

Brynn S.

Yelp
Is the coffee mind-blowing? No, but it's solid. Staff is very friendly and courteous too. Maybe not worth a special trip, but a great option if you're in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
My first time visiting this location, we all decided to order cappuccinos to get our early Sunday morning started. Their coffee is DELICIOUS! We loved their foam designs and both my teenagers stole our drinks. The cozy ambiance, with wrap around windows that offered a few seating inside. Very much family friendly and gets a lot of morning foot traffic. Staff was nice and friendly.
google avatar

Marv P.

Yelp
The coffee is good.....but not that good! With the prices they charge, the already added gratuity which they don't tell you about so if you're not aware of this you're tipping extra should be invested into a better Wi-Fi!!! If you're looking to work out of this coffee shop, do yourself a favor and go else where, it'll take you longer to connect to the Wi-Fi than to zip on a large coffee.

Khaled A.

Yelp
Coffee was good the service was good a bit high in price p The. Croissant are made maybe with oil or Marguerite they are no good May be good for the USA
google avatar

Jose A.

Yelp
I was shocked by how hard it is to find a serious pour over or French press coffee in this town, but this place hit the spot. The presentation with the card showing the tasting notes was cute too. Also delicious pastries and parking was workable. Great place.
google avatar

Maryam K.

Yelp
The experience would've been better if I didn't have to wait almost 30 minutes for 2 small coffees. I stopped by on a Sunday morning. The music was definitely not promoting a relaxing environment. The baristas were busy taking care of to go orders instead of actually helping patrons waiting to their coffee. I ended up leaving and going to Starbucks across the street to sit and get work done. I really wanted to like the place but it fell short.
google avatar

Walter W.

Yelp
Cassandra is amazing and friendly. The coffee is delicious and don't be fooled by the price -- you are paying for high quality. It really is that good. Oatmeal is their healthy breakfast choice. A great place to sit/read at 7am on a weekday morning. Dog friendly. Highly recommend!!!!!

Naomi K.

Yelp
Right on the corner hard to spot. Near the legion park so nice if you just strolled through the farmers market or if you were doing a bit of sight seeing on Biscayne with the coppertone girl and the vagabond hotel. There's no bathrooms and tiny mirrored room on the side for standing? All the tables are cleared and no outdoor patio seats unfortunately. The lot in the back is so tiny, one can barely get their car turned around after entering and not finding any spots open. Panther coffee is good but expect to pay for it. $15 for a small espresso (with a $1 flavor shot) and a cookie seems a little pricey. Better venues with ambiance in places like Wynwood.
google avatar

Carolyn F.

Yelp
The real deal. You can taste all the nuances of the coffee, teas or matcha without all the sugar like other places. All their baked goods are made with high quality ingredients and taste fresh. The prices are a bit high but it is a special treat. Only a couple parking spaces behind but I've gotten away with a quick street parking too.
google avatar

Caro M.

Yelp
It's a robbery what they are trying to do to customers. $21 for a medium iced coffee and a croissant. The coffee is good but not $9 for a medium coffee. PS: they forget to tell you service charge is included. They just flip the screen around and put the tip options.
google avatar

Marie N.

Yelp
I heard good things about panther coffee and was in the area and decided to stop in. I ordered a small iced latte with non fat milk and after swiping my card noticed the total was $8. Confused I asked the cashier if the price was correct to which she says that for an iced latte that was the price. Keep in mind after scanning my card it had asked me to tip on top of that amount. Based on my shock the cashier was kind enough to ask if I wanted a refund, which embarrassingly enough I said yes. Normally I would not mind paying $6 for a latte which on the menu said $5.50 for espresso+milk, but $8 for a small iced latte seemed ridiculous. I'm sure their coffee is good but for $8 no thanks. Just warning those who decide to stop by like I did that prices are $$$. Eventually I found out they add a 20% gratuity on top of the coffee price which they don't disclose unless you ask for a receipt.
google avatar

David E.

Yelp
Really excellent oat milk lattes. Tasty espresso, and the best oat milk steaming job I've ever had. However, $8 for a large oat milk latte is steep, but acceptable for the quality. Adding a 15% service charge in addition to a 1% alcohol fee, on top of the option to add a tip of your own, is egregious on principle. The alcohol fee is especially perplexing.
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
Great hibiscus guava drink. But who tf adds a service charge automatically at a coffee shop ? The balls on this girl. Or is this standard at Panther Coffee ?? Hope the 15% was worth it, never returning.
google avatar

Alma M.

Yelp
it's delicious but damn..... it's $8 a 12oz. And when they automatically add gratuity themselves it's like oh damnnnnn. But it's really good. I do splurge every now and then but not like i used to.
google avatar

Karla M.

Yelp
Tiny location but the coffee is AMAZING!!!! Dude, the muffins are always on point If you need to study or work, there's a few tables that are available too!
google avatar

Nicole P.

Yelp
tale it but it diI love this spot, I loved the service and I really hope that I just got a weird cup of coffee. I took a walk and it was so hot that it took me some time to drink which is fine, thats the nature of coffee and I am not complaining about temperature. I am complaining about flavor and that I felt like I was consuming gritty dirt. Also it was a bit pricey but thats what you get when you go to a shop like this so Ill take it but the fact that I had to throw it out as soon as I found a garbage and then walk home and make my own coffee, well that was disappointing.
google avatar

Jon B.

Yelp
I think I went to the Miami Beach location last year. This location is great, and there was street parking nearby. As I sat outside enjoying my cold brew, I realized there's a Starbucks across the street. This place is so much tastier than Starbucks! Pandemic stuff: I visited March 2021. All staff wore masks. There is an outdoor area to enjoy your coffee.
google avatar

Anna M.

Yelp
Very expensive for a small latte. Amazing croissant, very flakey and buttery, and ofc chocolatey. But the latte was average and a little small for the price I paid. If your willing to pay 15 dollars for this I recommend, but I can find similar food for much cheaper.
google avatar

Stella C.

Yelp
Tried their seasonal earl grey latte this morning. Was a but pricey but tasted amazing and staff was very friendly !
google avatar

Martha C.

Yelp
Cute installment of Miami's favorite coffee shop. The nitro with vanilla and macadamia milk was smooth and the pastry with guava and cheese is the best in the area. No inside seating for social distancing purposes but there's outside stools amongst the greenery.

Ana H.

Yelp
The gentleman working there with the larger head was really rude. He messed up my order and made some unnecessary comments under his breath... Really disappointed, I used to go to Panther all the time but he ruined my experience forever.
google avatar

Alessandra F.

Yelp
Super quick and easy. I ordered a cold brew with vanilla. Tasty coffee and great service. Loved that they had turbinado to add in.
google avatar

Richard H.

Yelp
I am driving in my car and writing this here review about the East Coast coffee beans I drank right before driving. These beans are PHENOMENAL!! The notes are all accurately and richly represented in the nose and in the taste. Really happy I bought from someone whose beans really are as good as they say. Plus, I had a good experience at this location. I got to study abd drank a cup of black coffee that was unforgettably tasty.

Nicole V.

Yelp
Over priced. Coffee is short of spectacular to be 10$ for an iced vanilla latte, and tip is included at least in the mimo location which I don't think it should be.. Apart from the OKAY coffee, the staff was friendly and attentive. It's a small, clean, coffee shop.
google avatar

Avery B.

Yelp
Uptight and rude service with halfway decent coffee. I saw the barista getting upset with two. Totally different customers within 20 minutes I was there.
google avatar

Claire T.

Yelp
I love it. Best coffee and coconut macaroons in the city! They have vegan milk options and amazing mocha coffee. Again: try the macarons, they are incredible!
google avatar

Victoria L.

Yelp
This place is not worth the money. I've come here a handful of times and haven't been impressed any of those times. The baristas are nice but their service is incredibly slow (only ever 2 people working) and the iced lattes seem incredibly short on the espresso and you're mostly drinking milk. Not to mention my one shot of espresso with oat milk cost $10 I'm sorry but this location is just not it and I'd recommend going somewhere else nearby that's probably way better and less expensive.
google avatar

Daniella S.

Yelp
This new venue is small, convenient, hipster vibe and not as yummy as the original. Come on guys, I always stop into the wynwood location to grab a cafe! Since day one of your existence Ima loyal and loving client I take all my out of towners to your place, I know your baby since Just born! Give me that same gorgeous rich cafe I know you make. I know you can.

Lisa R.

Yelp
Disappointed in my most recent trip to Panther. I know inflation has hit all of us but to have to pay an additional 15% on top of paying for your items seems a bit too much. Two small cappuccino's and a scone totaled $20. However, if you pay with the app and place your order in advance there is no service charge. Huh? Either way they have to make your coffee and you're still picking it up at the counter after they've made it. They're not taking it out to your car or serving you at a table, it's a counter. Service charges at restaurants with servers, hotels, and businesses where they are giving you something extra on top of the goods they're selling you is understandable. Ordering a coffee at the register and picking it up 3 steps away makes you feel like your being taken advantage of.
google avatar

Shannon S.

Yelp
I've visited this location several times and for something always just seems a bit off. Their pastry shelf is hit or miss and, what I consider to be inconsistent. You can't have a favorite snack because it may or may not be there again. One thing that is always there are these bag of nuts that coincidentally are always in stock at the Dollar Tree. Today's encounter was once again a bit off. I ordered my favorite a nitro white (totally reccomend it!) and when it was time to pay I literally could NOT press custom or no tip. I tried to press each multiple times but neither worked. I had no choice other than the percentages they provided. I have no issue tipping, however, I don't like to basically be forced to do so especially when I can do so in cash.
google avatar

Makayla P.

Yelp
This is a great coffee shop for a grab and go coffee. The coffee tastes very good and the staff is polite and friendly! You must know that is not a hangout coffee shop though as there are no places to sit either inside or outside. I see how parking could be hard as there is only one spot in the back but there are some spots for street parking on the side. (Way less difficult than the parking/line at Starbucks across the street though lol ) I will definitely be coming here more often as I was very impressed with the quality of the coffee and how kind the staff was! :)

Nicolas G.

Yelp
Great coffee, but the wifi never seems to work. I would go here more often, but I would rather drink cheaper coffee at a place with decent internet.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Quaint, cool, coffee. Yes it took a very long time for this location to finally open their doors, And once they did, there were many fond coffee lovers in a better place. I for one was very happy to know Panther was opening so much closer to my home area than the first two locations I had ever visited. I know there are options around twon that are not a brick and mortar style, but it does just feel right going into one. This is the perfect setting for a Panther coffee as it is right on the corner of a very yo and coming area that has been thriving for recent years and will only continue to do so with the types of folks and businesses that are around. MiMo as we have come to know it as, has come quite the ways, and the growth of course is wonderful for everyone. Enter awesome, fresh and tasty coffee. While the parking is not ideal, there are ample spots in the back, and thankfully, a lot of folks for show up on foot, so the cars are not really an issue. A good thing too seeing as how I am far enough away that I will always show up by way of car. The folks whom run or work at this location are super nice, just as the other two spots, it truly is one of the big reasons I continue to go back, aside of course from the the amazing fresh taste of coffee. All in all, 8 do love a local flavor and business that does everything right, and Panther does this and then some. Enjoy a cup of joe and SYOY!

Jodecii T.

Yelp
Okay so I've been coming to different panther locations for over a year. This coffee is my new found love for coffee spots. No it's not cheap but it beats every other chain out there. You get what you pay for right? I decided to grab a coffee today and sit down to drink it. Instead of rushing to go nowhere with my to-go cup. So I sat outside and admired the fact that I was not sitting in the line across the street waiting for s*arbucks. ‍
google avatar

Bernarda V.

Yelp
Hole-in-the-wall, hip, and quality coffee. It's become my GO-TO coffee shop in the Mimo area! On a weekly basis for the past year, I've been getting my coffee beans exclusively from Panther; I highly recommend their East Coast beans! Staff at the shop are friendly and very knowledgeable so the experience I have there is always positive. If you're looking to support a small business that consistently delivers amazing specialty coffee, Panther is your place!!!
google avatar

Nadina B.

Yelp
Adding this new Panther Coffee location because it didn't show up on maps. It is small but beautifully decorated with parking adjacent to it with an accessible entrance. The coffee and bunnie cakes cupcakes they sell were delicious and the ham and cheese croissant was mouth watering also. I knocked the star because they were out of scones at 9 and i didn't like their meat empanada and they didn't have a high chair. But it is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood taking away coffee business from the giant starbucks across the street. Hope they stick around!
google avatar

Jonah K.

Yelp
Love Panther... This location just has some issues. Firstly there is not a lot of seating. There is also 1 person working, which means there is normally a line. Finally, the most important thing, the coffee, is not as good as other locations. Not sure why, but it needs work.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Our local coffee joint. The service is really good and the coffee is very tasty. They have oat milk, macadamia milk, and whole milk from whole foods (so no rBST, which is important to me). This beats Starbucks in milk selection. They have a modest selection of food, some of which is very good, such as the vegan kale empanada and the chocolate chip cookies from True Loaf. Also the key lime yogurt and the passion fruit kombucha in the cold case are terrific. Give those a go.
google avatar

Tiffani B.

Yelp
I was hoping my espresso 'for here' would be served in a warm, espresso glass alongside the sparkling water. I suppose today was the exception? I came for the experience, hence the 4 stars because I oftentimes come here. Too bad today it wasn't "up to par".
google avatar

Daniel F.

Yelp
I wasn't much of a coffee drinker until recently, but I always have a great experience with Panther Coffee. I wish they had a drive-thru but they've made it easy to order on their app and just quickly pick up your stuff at the entrance. And don't sleep on their food items! The empanadas and cookies are very good!
google avatar

Derick D.

Yelp
Whenever I see a Panther Coffee location nearby I usually always pick them over almost anywhere else to get my latte fix. Their coffee is delicious. My go to: Iced latte with macadamia milk and an extra shot. They also make a good matcha latte. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
5 stars Is not enough for this little gem in MIMO. Coffee was great, asked a few coffee related question and the baristas were very helpful and knowledgeable. This one barista with a weird mustache kept calling me "young man" but he did the prettiest latte art, so that was cool. Highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be back. 5 stars!
google avatar

Joey W.

Yelp
Great coffee corner spot. A little expensive if you are thinking of modifying. Flavored lattes or nondairy options. So I'd stick with drip or their staple selections.
