"Pao Pak is a tiny noodle bar in Thai Town that, unfortunately, doesn’t hold up against its neighbors. If you’re looking for a quick, affordable lunch in East Hollywood, Pao Pak is a completely fine option, but outside of the boat noodles, there’s nothing on the menu you’ll remember the next day." - Brant Cox

The food is authentic and taste great. Staff is fast and friendly. Best value for the price. We had a very good experience dinning here. I didn’t understand why some people gave this place a low rating, so I read some of that. then I can see it’s about expectations. I feel as long as we expect this place as a good quality dinner of Thai food, you will have a good experience as I did.

Will definitely come back again to try more things on the menu. The customer service was great, all the ladies greeted us and were very attentive to our needs. The Thai food options are vast and delicious. There is inside seating and parking in the garage. We enjoyed our dinner and time there, we’ll be back for sure!

Very busy place where it is located but wanted to give this place a try. I ordered the garlic chicken noodles and they were really delicious. Way beyond my expectations. I would say better than yard house garlic noodles. So flavorful and most of all really great service with the really nice lady in the front. You can tell that they care about the food and presentation. Definitely will be coming back for more.

Pao Pak has a spread of Thai dishes with more seafood options than other places. Inside, they have a few tables available but I think they mainly do takeout. I really wanted the fried pomfret, but they were sold out for the day so they offered a fried cod or tilapia, in which I chose tilapia. It was very tasty and came with rice and sauce. My only issue was that the meat was pretty dry. We also ordered the seafood coconut cream soup which was very good, no complaints. There was a lot of assorted seafood. The service was very friendly and kind.

I come to this place often. It’s tucked in a corner in the shopping/apartment center. Its very quaint; not high end. Service is always good. Price is reasonable. Order a few items to share, because you will get full. The dishes I recommend are the Drunken Noodles, Pad Sew Ew, Orange Chicken, & Crab Ragoons. Thai tea is good…ask to have it with coconut milk and the mango sparkler is also really good.

I am beyond amazed at the flavors in the dishes I tried. The garlic noodles beef steak, and the King of curry salmon are excellent dishes (the salmon is my favorite). The Thai Tea with boba and the mango and sticky rice are a must have dessert item, if you only have room for one or the other I highly recommend the mango sticky rice. Excuse the pictures I was too excited to eat.

Place is nice and clean, people are really nice and try to adjust to your needs or personal preference (Thai food is spicy but they let you choose level of spicy). Totally recommended!

If your in a hurry, they have more than enough thai food here with no wait time. Not crowded. Ordered pad thai but would skip it next time. Fried tofu and green curry is ok. Conveniently located in a small strip mall. Easy to order and friendly owner or staff. Underground parking is ample with no fee.
