Yelp
When it comes to providing the service of delivery for consumers logistics is a big part of providing that service. This wasn't the case for our family during our last visit at the 500 W. William Cannon Drive location.
The day before Valentine's Day my wife ordered 5 large Pizza's for our sons 1st grade Valentine's Day class party, the restaurant was well aware that the pizza's were for students at an elementary school. The pizza's were to arrive at noon for the party, but my wife would receive a call from our sons teacher at 12:30pm, not from the restaurant, explaining the pizza's had not been delivered. My wife called the restaurant with concern that the pizza's had not been delivered, to be given the excuse by the manager that the driver's car had broken down and conveyed another excuse that it was Valentine's Day and they were busy. The pizza's arrived a little after 1pm to the school and the children were content, however, these are elementary school children who are consistently on a schedule, a concern this location seem to not understand.
I've read another review a year ago tethered to the same issue to time and delivery issues; it's understandable that things happen, however, the excused did not give confidence to us, the consumer, who rely that a service would be fulfilled, and that a business is able to meet the demands of holidays and unforeseen moments that would prevent a large order of pizza's from arriving 1 hour late for a trip that is calculated to take 5 minutes in distance.
