Papa Leone's Pizza

This place was awesome. Food was full of flavor. And we were able to watch them make everything from scratch. We had the barbecue chicken pizza and a regular cheese pizza. Even the cheese pizza was amazing. The guys in the back were friendly & helpful in our ordering process. We had "London Bridge Bucks" so we were able to splurge & the food did not disappoint. We will be visiting again 😊

Got delivery, Loved it! Try the Margherita. Ask for Parmesan and peppers if you want them though. Not a big deal, I have at home.

Small little pizza place , has 4 types of beers did not see any selection of wine, balcony has 4 tables and there is some more on the inside.

Restaurant has a lot of young people working, they all seem like they didn't want to be there and they had long faces but they stil helped nonetheless. i know it's summer time and the restaurant is hot inside (ac struggling), workers are sweating and cook kept touching his face and nose with his gloves without replacing them. Cook kept touching everything from doors, oven, face and pizza without replacing his gloves. pizza taste good but it was always in the back of my head how unsanitary the whole process was, I'm sure the fire killed most of the bacteria but this is something the owner must address. other than that service was good, the inside of the restaurant smells old but kind of expect it since most restaurants around the area are old and near the water.

Never been to Lake Havasu, so we were excited to eat pizza by the London Bridge as 1st timers. We walked in, the place was empty for one, the young guy behind the counter taking the order was a vibe kill, killed our excitement. If you’re not happy just don’t work there. Bother by us asking questions, monotone, and just not a good choice to be upfront, Only reason why the 1 star, pizza was good nonetheless. Other than that, cheer up guys! Older guy reading the news paper, you set the example, same vibe.

I appreciated the quick service and the pizza being hot. Taste was average. I was really excited to try this place out and the owners and workers were very kind. The pizza just didn’t stack up and could’ve used quite a bit more cheese and a little bit better flavor. Our favorite was barbecue chicken and we also like the artichoke pizza but like I said pretty average.

So I've been to Papa Leone's many of times they're one of the greatest Pizzas around. They've been here for quite some time since I've been here since 97. Also which I didn't know have a back patio deck that sees an overlooked the London Bridge. If you're looking for a back East Pizzeria you want to come to Papa Leone's located right in the English Village right by the big fountain you can't miss him. I ended up winning a free pizza in a gift certificate raffle and that's why I'm here but I'm going to come here anyway because they are one of the best in town. You can find them by going to the London Bridge Resort and they're right by the nautical pool or the London Bridge. They have an outside dining they have inside dining and I also looks like they have a outside back patio dining. Come check them out Papa Leone's Pizza. Face it promotions approved

I ordered the pizza from my car & waited in the parking lot-walked down the 25+ steps & pizza was ready. While I paid my bill the rain that never happens in March really let loose. They gave me a fork & plate & suggested I sit awhile & eat pizza- which I did. Crust was soooo good & toppings were plentiful & just what I wanted. The climb back up the steps was the only thing I’d change about my experience!!

Papa Leone's is a great place to order pizza while you are partying in the channel! They have great pizza and calazones. We were hungry and didn't want to leave our spot in the channel so we decided to call in our order. The guy on the phone is quick and efficient (straight to the point, which I appreciate). The best part is a young gentleman on a skateboard comes and delivers the pizza right to our boat! It was great service especially with the weather being so hot. The young man was polite and appreciated the tip we gave him! So every time we are partying in the channel, my kids say, "when are we getting our Papa Leone's??"

Nice ambiance, the services was attentive and gave the best advise as to what to order . The pizza was delicious, not too cheesy, not too saucy , not too salty. My favorite is the dough, it's crispy and fresh . Recommend while visiting Havasu.

Food was great! Ordered it ahead of time and it was ready quickly by the time we got there. Staff was friendly and attentive. 70$ for pizza though? I would do it again to try out some more of their specialties.

We walked in one night and they were like we're so sorry we're closing...then the next day quite by accident we made our way back...and I am so glad we did...this is a great pie! Not a Chicago style by any means but still worth the money... The crust is crispy without being a cracker, yet floppy enough!! A perfect 8 on that one... The sauce was a little light but what I could taste was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet that we love...and the cheese was the best part... We also splurged on their garlic cheese bread and I almost ate too much of that! It was soooooooo good!!!!! I had to make myself stop so I could taste the pizza... This place is totally worth it!!!

My wife and I were visiting Lake Havasu and the London Bridge area on our winter vacation. Next to the London Bridge Resort is this pizza restaurant. Not wanting to drive anywhere for lunch, we decided to have some pizza here. Service is quick and the pizzas are done shortly after you make the order. The staff are teens who are not the most chatty, but they get the job done. This is a classic pizza shop in a tourist trap area. Prices are a bit elevated because of the location, but convenient. The food is okay. It's fresh, and has your fast pizza shop flavor. There are two televisions so you can watch games that are televised. They do have beer, but I didn't order any, just a pitcher of soda. This is a great place when staying at the resort next door. Casual and laid back, you can't go wrong here.

Great pizza! First time there..what's weird is the order taker older guy just stands there when you come in. Doesn't say anything like " welcome in" can I take your order" nothing.....place was a little warm. But other than that the pizzas very good !!

I was there on Friday, July 25th, in the evening, and I ordered a Pinot Grigio. They were out, but the male owner offered to go next door to find another bottle to accommodate us. I have worked in the service industry in Alaska for 34 years, and this was a class act by the owner. We will definitely be back. Plus, they have BEAUTIFUL views of the London Bridge.

Meh. Got the pepperoni - tasted like greasy pizza. Loading up on toppings provided at the table made it better but still not my fav. Sorry!

Was looking for something to eat right fast after being out on the boat for hours, with 8 men. We just decided to come here and I'm not upset one bit that we did. Walked in, got the pizza ovens right there behind the counter to order at. There's a nice bit of seating in the restaurant with both small tables and bigger tables. Guy at the counter seemed a little, not upset but just a little worked up, but I guess I get it having 8 rowdy guys walk in the place. He also brought our food to our tables so, not much to say about service here. To start, the pizza here was outstanding. I didn't expect much when we chose this spot but the pizza was really really good! The wings on the other hand, amazing taste on the buffalo sauce, but the chicken wings themselves were pretty bad. Broken bones, real chewy meat, just low quality chicken wings. I think it was like $55 for 2 large meat lovers pizza and a draft beer, and he did give us a pitcher of water but I think that was complimentary. Overall, I guess this isn't a bad spot at all but there are so many more options. Given our situation I was happy with coming here. The pizza is outstanding, but the wings...don't get them.

$18.40 buys you a 10 inch pizza and a flat Coke. wasn't impressed with either one. I asked for some Sriracha, and when I got it, I looked at it, and there was mold on the top and in the cap, There was a older gentleman working with a group of young men, and they seem nice, but he didn't care if I would've been there or not. I'm a tough critic when it comes to pizza. Papa Leone's hit the mark. We stopped in on a busy weekend evening. They were busy but attentive. Our pizza was hot and delicious. Our take out order delayed just enough so it was hot when we finished. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a good pizza in the area.

Service sucks!! We love the pizza but if you're willing to wait for an hour and a half not worth it. Ordered our salad, pizza and drinks only to get drinks after a fifteen + minute wait. Continently asking when we would get our salads they came out 45 minutes later. Mind you we were only a party of 3 and the 2nd table there. So with that said we got our pizza an hour and a half later. Meanwhile others came in and left. When we'd ask about our food server was rude and said it coming out soon. It's happened before but never this long so we thought we'd give it another try. Never again.

Good pizza, and convenient when watching the parade of lights and have a lot to feed!

My go to when hanging out in the evening in the channel. Creature of habit and always order a Margherita pizza. Sometimes I walk or they deliver right to your boat. I've also eaten on their patio which has a great view overlooking the Village and Channel.

absolutely amazing pizza, 10/10. the flavors were really great, got a large pepperoni and it fed my group of 4 and we still had leftovers. also ordered the cheesy garlic bread , bro it was to die for. their crust was spectacular and i love the fact that they have a table shaker with garlic powder in it, like an absolute slay and genius

Came for the Xmas boat parade and had an amazing experience. The place was packed. Was told we would have a 35 min wait. Turned out to be about an hour. Which is what I expected with how busy they were. It was so busy they had to stop taking pizza orders at about 530 pm because of how busy it was and wasn't sure if they had enough dough to accommodate everyone. Or pizzas were perfect. I had cheese. And my friends had a combo. Both looked and tasted great. I ate my entire small it was so good. The service was great. There were a bunch of young men working and they were amazing. Such hard workers to make sure everyone had everything they needed. And the gentleman that took our order(owner maybe) seemed to just make everything look so smooth. They have a big front window so you can watch the pizza maker making the pies. I'll for sure make it a point to come back anytime we're in the area. Sorry forgot to take pics of my pie I was so hungry and it was so good. Thanks again

The BBQ chicken pizza hit the spot after a long hot day of touring the London Bridge. The chicken was nicely seasoned and the crust was nice and thin. Yum....

Wow what a great pizza place! I was here 20 years ago and it is the same great place for pizza! If you time it just right you can dine on the deck overlooking the London Bridge!

I can't deny I'm disappointed their pizza isn't the best in town. They are not the worst, this pizzeria has been a local fixture for as long as I can remember. I do recall one 4th of July weekend coming in for a pie while enjoying a ride on the lake. Obviously, it didn't leave an impression because I never went back this was some 20 years ago. We decided to give them another shot as our besties in town speak so highly of the pizza and the quality of their sauce. Sadly to say I still have my favorite and its stands as the best.... The pies are a nice size and the price is right but you do get what you pay for. Thin crust with easy sauce with zero zest and sprinkled pizza. The pepperoni is tasty and they use fresh mushrooms but their sauce is flavorless. I would suggest since you don't want to use oregano or rosemary in your sauce spruce up your cheese, maybe try adding some Asiago or parmigiano Reggiano. I am going to continue my quest for the best Pizza in town as for now my choice stands. Please read my reviews to see who the current winner is.

Solid pizza spot in Lake Havasu - GF pizza is good as well! Pepperoni and sausage is good along with margarita pizza.

Walked in to order - understood it was busy but was told no more orders for 45 mins. Offered to wait as long as possible and was told "no more orders call me in 45 mins to see if I can take your order" - doesn't matte throw good your pizza is if your customer service is that bad...

This has become our favorite place to visit after a long day of being on the boat. The staff is friendly and helpful when asking for sides or to go boxes. The pizza is delicious, very flavorful and they are generous on the toppings. We went to our air bnb and wished we had taken food to go. The place itself is clean, lots of seating, tvs are on and there are a few arcade games for the kids to play on. Check this place out you will not regret it!

Good place got a quick dinner. Delicious pizza at a fair price. If pragmatic, weathered and beaten is the intention of the decor, they nailed it. The staffers were friendly.

Really liked this small pepperoni pizza and pitcher of root beer, despite the owner being from Boston. The place says back east pizza, but usually you would expect New York, not Beantown. Anyway, the place has a nice patio for a lake view and the pizza had a good chewy crust and a sauce with some punch we both enjoyed. Good pizza near the bridge.

We called ahead to order and it was ready when we got there . We sat on the balcony and enjoyed watching the Christmas lights come on .

We ordered pizza to our hotel in Lake Havasu. The ordering process was easy and the updates for where our order was in the process was super helpful. The estimated arrival time was spot on. The meat pizza was so good and very large. The antipasto salad was very good!

Not only is the pizza overpriced and cracker thin. They can't seem to order the proper amount of food product to stay open on a Saturday. Systemic management failures every day. Other than desperation and the desire to eat close to the lake, there is no plausible reason why any sensible person would even coincided going to this place . The view from the patio at night Wow just wow Best Brooklyn style pizza in Arizona . Pay no mind to the attitude of the owner it goes perfectly with the true to core pizza roots . Authentic.... Period. P.S. add sausage to the Margarette pizza and you have a master piece!!!!!!!!!!

Best pizza in LHC for sure, and likely between LA and LV. Amazing hand tossed crust thats thin but crispy. Plenty of toppings to choose from and quick service

Great pizza, great price, QUICK delivery. After a long day at the lake we wanted to have pizza delivered with wings. Unfortunately they were out of wings HUGE bummer. I still sent ahead and ordered a large pepperoni pizza and Cesar salad. Pizza arrived as ordered and QUICK! I couldn't believe how fast the delivery was and the pizza was still fresh/hot right out of the box!

Conveniently located in a hot spot next to the London Bridge. Great prices. Good service. Ok food. We saw the place the day we checked in to London Bridge Resort. We checked them out on Yelp. We called. And called. And called again, hoping to get delivery one evening because we settled in for the night. No answer. Website had a few different glitches, so it took some refreshing to figure out what was on the pizzas. Finally just decided to get dressed and go order in store. Luckily it didn't take too long - about 15 minutes. It was freezing out. :/ The pizza is okay. I think we expected better since the Yelp reviews were raving about it. The garlic cheese bread is probably best when hot and right out of the oven. It got cold by the time we started eating. :/

Best pizza I've had in such a long time, yes the wait is long but that's because they're taking their time and effort into each pizza. 10/10 would recommend, coming back again 100%

Made my pizza incorrectly and wanted me to bring the pizza and the card down to refund. It was a $25 pie, but I don't have time for (likely MORE) bad service. Keep my $25, but here's your one star for not refunding or even offering to remake the pie.

Love going here to watch the boats go by while eating delicious pizza with a cold beer. All the guys working there are super friendly and attentive. Always recommend!!

We had the meat combo. The crust was good and crunchy on the bottom. The pizza was good. Also had the antipasto salad which was ok but very small for the price. Service was efficient and friendly. Glad we tried it.

Once a week we get a pizza to share with my 91 year old mom who lives in assisted living here in town. My mom has eaten a lot of pizza in her 91 years and Papa Leones is her favorite! My husband is from Chicago, and I've lived in New York City, we also both know good pizza and we agree Papa Leones is by far the best in Lake Havasu City. The crust is thin yet firm, just the right amount of chewiness. The cheese is delicious, the pepperoni fresh and they have pepperoncini too! There is a nice little patio out back with a great view of the channel to enjoy a beer while you are waiting for your pizza. Highly recommend.

We've been at Papa Leon's once before and definitely wanted to share our excellent experience... Rich was crushing it with spinning the pizza dough. Wow, I had a lousy pizza from them yesterday, was out all day today. Seen they called me in the am. Just tried calling them now and for some strange reason i get this message saying This is Papa Leone's , sorry for the inconvenience but we are all sold out of pizza. Hahahaha. Didn't they go down the tubes fast.
