The 15 Best Breweries In LA

"Paperback Brewing has very good beer, especially if you’re a hazy IPA connoisseur, but the biggest reason we love this Glendale brewery is its space. Located in an old 1940s-era airplane hangar, drinking at Paperback feels like you’re in line for Soarin’ Around The World at California Adventure, except the only ride here is sitting and relaxing for a few hours. Even during peak weekend hours, you’ll always be able to find an open table, and when you get hungry, you’ll find a food truck or two parked out front. " - brant cox, sylvio martins, nikko duren, garrett snyder

This brewery has many beers on tap, so there's sure to be something for everyone. In addition, it's a cool themed brewery with a pleasant atmosphere. I had the sour, which was good. The prices were average. I like the friendly staff, as well. If you're in Glendale, give this place a try.

Google
Great Beer, Room for a Few Tweaks (Now Fixed!) The beer and ambiance at Paperback Brewery are excellent—top-tier selection and quality. However, I initially felt the user experience could improve, especially with the bathroom layout and lack of TVs at the bar. While the gold fixtures looked nice, more practical upgrades would’ve made a bigger impact. Good news: they listened! TVs were added, making the bar area more enjoyable. Love seeing management take feedback seriously. 5 stars now—well deserved!

Google
its banquet hall and its not tasting room.I went there twice with my friends, and this time I said, "Let’s go with all our friends," so a total of 8 people went. Guess what? It’s not a tasting room like they said—it’s a banquet hall for a private party. I even checked their Instagram, and guess what? Nothing was mentioned about it being a private event. And the timing isn’t accurate either. Most of the time, they’re closed, and sometimes on Fridays, they’re open. Just imagine going there, parking, and paying for it, only to find out it’s a private event. So don’t waste your time—just go to BJ's. They have beer too, and it’s even better!

Google
Really great beer! And there’s a cat that wanders the bar for pets - what more could you ask for? I also liked the library theme of the taster tray. Highly recommend and would return.

Google
I’ve been coming to Paperback for the past few years. Love the ambiance, food from the food truck is great and goes so well with the beer. Reason for 3 start review is it’s not the first time I’ve experienced this but the server, young lady who closed my tab, has always given me a short, rude, not welcoming nor engaging experience there. It feels like she is bothered to deal with me, even if it’s just to close my tab… bad costumer service from her. But gives other type of treatment with other people. Nevertheless, other staff members are great. Gentleman who took my first order, (hat and beard) great and with a great smile. Sharing so other people don’t have this same experience in the future.

Google
Easily one of my favorite breweries in the Los Angeles county area. First off, their section of beer is solid. Whether you want something light and crisp to a double hazy IPA, they got you. And then there's the space. There's an outdoor patio and a mezzanine area for a more private vibes. Great food trucks on the weekend and Dodgers baseball too. Overall great place for getting together with family and friends.

Google
A brewery that’s a bit off the beaten path and totally worth checking out. Street parking only but we found a spot easily on a Saturday around 5pm. The whole setup is great with indoor and outdoor seating options. The food truck outside had great smash burgers and various loaded fries. The flights of beer are a lot of fun because of the library theme. I love that they have so many hazy IPAs! Really enjoyed this spot and look forward to going back!

Google
I don’t drink beer but I liked fruit seasonal Benny boy brewing collab $12! It was so good!

Yelp
The beer rocks, hands down. Love the aesthetic and the labels. Staff are friendly too. Also, check out the food truck!

Yelp
Great place for sharing local brews, interesting location, big open and decorated space. Great selection of fresh brews! C.

Yelp
We've been coming here for about 4 years, really used to enjoy it, but the vibe has changed. The staff used to be friendly and welcoming, now you get sullen, stares and barely an acknowledgement. On the positive side, the beer here is good, even for someone like myself who doesn't drink a lot of beer. The space is fun and open, cool place to hang, and we'll continue to enjoy ourselves there.
google avatar

Raegan N.

Yelp
What a wonderful brewery. We've been here a few times and really enjoyed ourselves. Wonderful beer, selection and ambience. Micah was a great bartender!

Yelp
Paperback beers have fun names and intricate comic art on their cans, and the ones we've had have all been great. They have comic-illustrated "library cards" so you can keep track of what you've tried. You can also buy cans to take home. The inside area is usually packed. There are picnic tables outside, some with umbrellas. Even at the busiest times, there's always a spot somewhere. The best part of Paperback is their partnership with Bun & Blanket smash burger truck. It's a permanent fixture outside the brewery, so you can get your fix every time you come. The best smash burgers I've ever had. To be noted: they do allow children and there are always families there. Also, parking is difficult to find in the area.

Yelp
Nice brewery. Liked the comic book theme. Enjoyed sitting out on their patio. Had a food truck there. Parking is mainly if not all street parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Beer, food, and vibes here are amazing! This brewery has some fun decoration and excellent service. I always enjoy my time here. Smash burger food truck is always there and it's 10/10 with a cold beer!

Yelp
Brewery with a really fun space. Friendly beer tenders and solid beer. The shining aspect here is the meticulous design/ decor. I mean, it's really well done. I can see how people would want to hold small events here. As a matter of fact, I think there was a baby shower going on to the side as well as some random meet and greet on the upper level when my buddy and I got there. Later on, it looked like there was some friends/ family birthday in the same space as the earlier baby shower. It also helps that street parking is pretty easy to find in the area especially if you are okay with walking a block or two. In terms of design, there was clearly a theme in mind as there is an old timey pop art feel to the whole place as well as the labels on the beer. Like I mentioned above, I thought the beers were solid. I try not to be a beer snob, but I do have my favorites in the general area. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. Great place for groups and/or to meet up with people.

Yelp
Fun flight set up - mostly all IPA options. Love the brewery cat and overall vibe. A little hot if it's a warm day outside but a chill vibe inside and cool graphics on cans

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised to happen upon this place today. Very quaint establishments and pleasing to the eyes, indoor interior was unique and inviting. The other patrons made this place a vibe and it definitely had the feeling of being a top go to spot for the area. I didn't taste any beer, but the ambiance alone was peaceful and enjoyable. I happened upon Paperback while visiting Bun & Basket food truck and to my surprise the brewery was right in front of it. We look forward to returning for some beer tasting soon. The two women working the bar area not one time greeted us or asked us if we wanted to try any of their beer, which we thought was odd. One man did greet us at the food truck and he said he worked at the brewery, he was friendly. Regardless, I will definitely be back for another burger.

Yelp
Great ambiance Casual seating Dog friendly Wide selection brews - all Paperback brewed Heavy selection of West Coast IPA and Hazy IPA - varied selection of Hops Great food truck parked in driveway- tasty smash burgers

Yelp
Openers: Catchy beer names, vending machines with Bunny+ chainsaw stickers*, super fab seating, dogs allowed indoors, and a food truck that has great munchies. (*bring your own quarters!) Bookended on my trip to New Zealand, we stayed right around the bend from PB and stopped here twice. There are many, many places to have a beer in LA, but why mess with a good thing? Lots of rotating beer selections of all types, and a wicked cool atmosphere. You feel like you are in a "thing" without needing to be a local to fit in.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Great brewery! The beer was really good and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We got some food from the truck in the front and it was great! The ambience of the place is very cool as well. Loved it!

Yelp
Walking into this place feels a little like stepping into a time machine. The old-timey decor inside a warehouse-like hanger takes you on a nostalgic thought through the golden eras! On my visit, I decided to go for a flight of beer to sample the variety of brews they offer. What truly won me over was the watermelon sour ale. It wasn't overwhelming either sweet or sour, but it brought a great sense of tartness, making it an absolute delight. It was one of those beers you can't help but savor, and I ended up grabbing a full glass of the Screaming Melons to fully relish the flavors. But what truly caught everyone's attention was the beer can artwork. It reminds me of those classic old paperback book covers, and it's a brilliant way to showcase the brewery's branding. The attention to keeping a cohesive decor in the bar area is very noticeable, and it adds an extra layer of charm to the whole experience!

Yelp
Super cool spot. Wonderfully decorated and excellent service. Everyone was so friendly and gave great beer recommendations. The patio to the side is very cute and has cozy picnic table vibes. I love the music and lights. They have a food truck out front that seems to be very popular, we only tried french fries. This is an awesome brewery. We came by Saturday night with our toddler and it's family friendly , clean and just an overall nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back here again.

Yelp
Cute little brewery hidden away in Glendale. Nice spot to grab a beer with a friend or date. Tried a few of their IPAs, both West Coast and Hazy. My favorite still remains Bunny With A Chainsaw - solid double hazy ipa. No kitchen inside, but there was a food truck right out front. Staff was friendly and attentive. Place was just a bit quieter than I'm used to. DTLA breweries are a bit more lively. Still, overall nice spot.

Yelp
My friend and I happened upon this place from a recommendation from one of the patients I took care of. We had a blast. We met the owner, Brandon, and learned about the history of Paperback. This place opened during the pandemic and needs all the support it can get. This was a dream that Brandon worked towards for 12 years. The atmosphere was so relaxed and fun. There was a delicious food truck outside with amazing beers to order. The beers we're affordable and the place had a really nice vibe to it. This is definitely a place where people and come to decompress. They also have television screens where they stream sports and have really nice rock and roll music. There's also cute dogs at this place. It's always a plus when the place is dog friendly. I ordered the red ale and it was very delicious. Overall, if you want a really unique and lowkey place to hang out, this is it. They even have a fantastic beer garden outside. Street parking is available.

Yelp
Worst brewery in Glendale if you want to see 15 young kids on a Sunday while watching football this is the place to be I don't understand how this place is letting a bunch of young kids inside a brewery it doesn't matter if they're with their parents. This is not a playground the main reason I would not return back here again this is not a day care for children
google avatar

Yelp
LOoooooOOove the decor!!! It's so fun, feels so homey and the lighting is so chillllll feeling- loved it!! And the seating has both two-seaters, more-seaters and even like circley (upstairs) of comfy chairs for bigger groups too! -Flight: the beer was tasty, there actually wasn't a favorite I had necessarily. But they did taste different which is always nice for options and a flight. -Crowler: smaller than a growler (it's not a typo) and comes in a big 32 oz can (like full on, once you pop it you can't reuse it BUT it looks pretty danggg cool). Didn't get to try more (the food truck outside) as we came by for just a quick pit stop before having to head out, but again loved the layout and it was really fun : )

Yelp
Nice vibe, the handles on the water faucets are funky, they have a couple fun vending machine items, good selection of beer. The food there is from a food truck, not a kitchen inside, they are apparently always there and their food is good.

Yelp
Paperback was on my list of local area breweries to check out and I saw they had a Groupon deal for a sampler and crowler deal-there was a deal for 2 so I texted my buddy real quick to see if he was interested and then bought the double deal then went there a few weeks later. Right away, I liked the place, it had that kind of throwback vibe that their artwork had. Instead of sitting at the bar or in their banquette space I quickly sat in front of their 'rumpus room' area, for lack of a better term. The space had a very Brady Bunch rec room vibe; they had era appropriate media equipment. My buddy came late but it let me sit and sample without pulling out my Groupon. I usually don't go into too much details about individual beers, but I had this fruit smoothie beer that was just terrible-it was a collab with another brewery that usually does this style pretty well and it was just awful. However, Paperback's focus is on IPAs and the majority of their output, which is a style my friend doesn't like. I assume he would just sample politely then bequeath his crowler to me since I imagined that he wouldn't find anything he liked enough to take home. To PB's credit, he actual found a beer he liked which WAS an IPA. My jaw hit the floor at that because while it wasn't a hop bomb it definitely tasted like an IPA.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Purchased a Groupon for 2 flights + 2 Growlers (32oz cans) and was quite impressed with the volume of beer we got. Probably too much... half of the flight glassware are well hidden in the library card catalogue drawer. Large selection of west coast lights, ipas, and hazy IPAs. Knowledgeable bar staff who can help you pick or you can choose your own destiny. Staff will probably let you do you unless you engage them first. Menu and upcoming beers posted online. Best part is the kitschy retro can art and punny names. Very industrial area outside with some street parking, little bit sketchy when it's dark out. My head is on a swivel when I step out. Parking gets very vague after a while so if you have access needs, curb ramps may be blocked. Food truck always parked out front outside. Outdoor seating available and doggo friendly Located in a warehouse/hangar the interior has an interesting combination of industrial punctuated with vignettes of 1970's/mid century grandpa's house sitting areas. Main seating on the ground floor by the bar with an upstairs loft seating with a pool table and hangout den. Upstairs looked fun, but it's summer and noticeably a few degrees hotter.

Yelp
This has been by far one of my favorite breweries. I have been here two times and both times have not disappointed. From the beer to the service, you can go wrong. I have only come on Friday nights so I can't speak on how busy it gets on other days but even if it's busy, it still somehow has a relaxing vibe here. I have tried numerous beers here and haven't disliked one yet. The food from the food truck parked outside is worth the trip. The Cali burger along and Birria fries are def hits. I tried their Parmesan chicken sandwich and it was delicious. They seem to allow dogs as I saw dogs this past Friday. I love how they have seating both downstairs and upstairs. Will continue to come back to this place.
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
Straight to the point; the space is great and spacious, decent beer, but HORRIBLE service. The tenders at the bar are not friendly. Cold, no smile or any social skills. Not even a thanks. It's almost as they do not want to serve you. The beer is not that great to garner a second visit. So many breweries within driving distance that you can check out that have both better service and beer.
google avatar

Nohely M.

Yelp
This is a tucked away brewery spot located in Glendale- borderline Burbank, possibly considered LA already...anywho I was able to find a parking spot around the corner and just walked a short distance to it. There is a food truck parked outside the location so that's a plus! It's pretty chill inside, small space but they also have front patio space(however, today is chilly) Cool vibe music playing in the background And I decided to sit at the bar, I came alone of course! Service- I didn't feel welcomed, the girl who served me was just starring at me the whole time which made me feel a bit uncomfortable, and the other dude was just there too. They didn't seem too cheerful to be serving beer. Whatever been to golden road down the street with much superb attitude from their staff members. I decided to go with their flight, so I can sample a few of their selections, so that worked out for me. The flight is 5 flavors served on the wooden tray, I got a mixture of hoppy beers selection: west coast IPA vs. hazy IPA groups, (see image of my selection on the images) I liked all of them, they all had their own unique tastes but delicious! I recommend this brewery for sure to come and chill out for bit with a refreshing beer!

Yelp
If you're looking for a trendy brewery in the area, you should check out this place. It's a cool little brewery that offers a variety of craft beers (not pictured here because I drank mine too fast lol!) there's also a food truck outside and you can bring your food inside and enjoy with your beer (food also not pictured here because I ate the smash burger too fast)!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a nice, little local brewery located along a small street. It's dog-friendly and there is a food truck parked outside if you're hungry. We came here for some drinks and to kill time. The drinks have fun and creative names with a play-on of famous characters. The space isn't crowded, but still busy. The restrooms are clean with 3 unisex, private rooms. And the bartenders were so friendly. Great spot for a chill vibe.
google avatar

Chalee T.

Yelp
No regrets coming to Paperback Brewing. It's doggy friendly. Such a chill place and awesome food truck. I had the triple spicy burger with bacon ordered at the food truck parked outside. We were given a pager to signal that the food was ready for pick up. To die for! I almost wanted a second one. We sat at the two single lounge seats just inside to the right. For the first round I had the Capiche, an Italian style pilsner and my girl had the Clownin Around brown ale. After we ate our food, we ordered a second round Kung F. U., a rice lager, and a Satan Wears Pajamas, an American Red Ale. We both enjoyed our beers. There is no parking lot in this industrial area, so you'll need to park in the street near by. More about my triple smash burger, spiced up with jalapeno relish, and added bacon. It was delicious but I thought this should have been a bigger burger. I had no problem finishing it. The bottom bun was soaking up the grease and just held up enough to finish the burger off.

Yelp
This is a great little beer hall (especially since they partnered with Bun & Blanket to be their resident food truck). They have an intimate two-level indoor area and an outdoor area with partial shade. Very laidback feel and chill clientele. Great selection of beers (especially if you're into the hops) and just a great overall spot.

Yelp
Really cool vibe Good service amazing food truck outside Sports vibe Always nice to visit a brewery

Yelp
Great brewery tucked away off San Fernando. They usually have food trucks for bites & are dog friendly :) I liked the One Night With Nora best, but I love blondes ;) Check em out!

Yelp
Paperback Brewing needs to be added to everyone's watering hole list. This place has a fun vibe with a great selection of IPA's. I went on a Sunday night and had a great time sampling all the different beers . All the IPA'S have fun catchy names with a flavorful, balanced , and Piney taste There's plenty of barstool and table seating on the ground floor and they even have seating upstairs. There is no food but there is always a dedicated taco truck out front that the regulars told me dishes out some good grub. The staff were all friendly and gave some wonderful recommendations. There is plenty of street parking .
google avatar

Gohar K.

Yelp
My husband works nearby and has been asking me to go and meet him at Paperback for beer tasting for the last few months. Finally I got a chance to go. What a nice surprise to find this place in an area that I have been visiting for years and never knew about. Great craft beer, nice ambiance and a very cute decor that takes you back in time. The beer selection is amazing. So many flavors to chose from. I got the flight which came with four kinds of beer. Don't remember the names. .. . I was too busy enjoying my pizza and beer. They usually have a food truck outside, different one every day. We went on a day when it was a pizza truck and let me tell you It Was Delicious. Perfect pairing with the beer.

Yelp
Really liked the space. There is seating indoors and outdoors with very different feels. Some communal type tables and some small party tables. I didn't fully see the outside space until I drove by it when I was leaving but it looked nice with astroturf and tables. It looked like there was also an upstairs area with a large TV but I didn't go up, just glanced from downstairs. I went on a Sunday and there was a food truck parked outside for food. Lots of people brought their dogs along with them but the dogs were mostly all well behaved. I had the Tucked In by Strangers and it was a really nice IPA. I think my friend had the Nude Peach which had nice fruit flavor and tasted lighter. There was a decent amount of street parking available.
google avatar

Liana M.

Yelp
Paperback has a really cool vibe. Like the garage in your parents house after they turned it into a rec room. When I visited on a Saturday there was a DJ spinning some chill beats. The beer was cold. The vibes were :chef's kiss:. They had a taco truck out front that was killlller. So good. Back to the beer, though. They are heavy on the IPAs. Lots of wacky names and illustrations for their craft beers. Part of the fun is just ordering them. I'm partial to pale ales and sours, so that's what I stuck to. The Pineapple Party Crasher was a standout for me. They brew everything themselves, which is awesome because you're fully supporting a local beer business. And you can buy cans to-go, which is rad. Definitely stop in and hang for a brewski!
google avatar

Yelp
Always such a great hang! I came here 4ish last Friday. It always has a super chill and calming vibe. The decor is super throwback and retro. The beer is always top notch. They have a great selection of IPAs but I tried one of their red ales. Super delish too. They had the basketball game on and a great selection of music. I never have any complaints when I come here! I only wish they had another location in the pasadena area too! One of my fave breweries and for it being in Glendale it's the best one around there for sure. It feels super unique and not over hyped. The artwork on the beer labels is absolutely stunning. They're brand is don't wait! Throw them some business you won't regret it!
google avatar

Tony L.

Yelp
Great space in the industrial area of Glendale with street parking. It looks larger from the outside; the main downstairs area isn't large at all but there's an upstairs deck-like area in this hanger building. We went during the mid-afternoon; it was crowded but thankfully we were able to get a seat for 2. The staff is really friendly, really knowledgeable and gave us some good recommendations for the "tasting" board. There's a pretty good food truck parked right outside the building that's extremely convenient, we had their Korean steak fries, a little expensive but normal for food truck prices these days. Overall, a nice place to visit with very good beers on tap. My only "wish" - need that great can artwork up on the walls.

Yelp
Questions: Do you like beer? Yes? Do you like amazing smash burgers? Yes? Do you like seeing friendly doggos at a brewery? Yes? If so, Paperback is the brewery for you! I've been going there for the past year and a half, ever since I moved from Seattle. I almost always sit at the bar because IF you like talking to people, their bartenders are all just good people who enjoy a good conversation (at least when they're not slammed and need to be pouring beers). Paperback is one of the few breweries I've frequented where I consistently change up my beer of choice. Part of this is because the brewers at Paperback are constantly coming out with new beers, but the other part is that their beers are just consistently good regardless of the style. Trivia Night (I think on Wednesday) is a lot of fun and the space upstairs is really cool with a nice bar table shuffleboard set up. They also have a small patio with Cornhole set up and you can grab bags or shuffleboard discs from the bartenders upon arrival at no cost. I genuinely appreciate having found a "neighborhood brewery" that is this good as quickly as I did when moving to LA and always look forward to stopping by for a pint.
google avatar

Crystal L.

Yelp
I love this place! The beers are killer, service is great, decor and ambience are top notch, they have an outdoor patio for the sunny LA days that are finally here, and the food truck was impressive, the bulgogi fries were super tasty. And I was surprised to find that it's right next to Glendale Tap, where my husband and I had our first date :) We'll be back!
google avatar

Alique B.

Yelp
Their beer is AMAZING!!!!! Seriously, almost every beer I've tried is top notch. Service is average. Not overly attentive and not completely neglectful. Every time I have been to paperback, the case is that you have to get the servers attention. It's a popular brewery, you can't expect much. Ambiance is fun, retro, yet industrial. Very hipster and millennial-esque.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Went to Paperback for Father's Day. The brews were great and the atmosphere was eclectic. I am an IPA drinker and they had plenty to choose from. I ended up taking a couple 4 packs home. The food truck Bun and Blanket was 5 stars as well. The smash burger was so flavorful and the chili cheese fries did not disappoint. The staff at the brewery and food truck were attentive. Will definitely be back in the future!

Yelp
Good beer and overall ambiance. Unique vibe and decor. Like being in a Cold Water era hangar. Lots of space, clean, well lit. Easy parking.

Yelp
I've been craft beer tasting for many years at craft beer bars and craft breweries all over California, Texas, Oregon, Utah, NYC, Washington State, and Canada, etc. This is the first craft brewery or bar that did not want to assist in making a beer selection. The "beertender" just quickly gave up on me and told me that I know what I liked and dismissed helping me. I went through the list and made random choices by name -- which didn't help at all. I had a difficult time drinking a few of their beers. A couple of fruit-forward beers tasted like cough medicine and were hard to go down. It seems that they specialize in IPA and Hazy IPAs as that dominated their menu. It was disappointing that they cannot make recommendations on their own favorites or their most popular beers as other places can do this. The space is nice and the beer cans have nice designs, but they should try to improve on the education of their team on beers and try to be helpful in recommending beers to customers or can describe each beer by flavor profile, or popularity with customers or employees. Even if they don't like their beers, they should just fake it and be able to pour some of the recommeneded beers for the sake of customer service and experience at the brewery. This is a below average craft brewery experience and tasting of their beers. They are very good in their eye for design and marketing. I'll give them that.

Sara A.

Yelp
Was here just now and was charged twice. The server was extremely rude and blatantly racist. He told me that it was my bank and when I called my bank, they said it was 2 separate charges from the merchant. I gave my 1 beer back because of the horrible customer service and racism. Only the cost of 1 beer was "voided" My card has not been refunded yet. I will be contacting the better business bureau about this.

Yelp
Kelly and Kris do a great job behind the bar. Ambiance is lovely with the lighting. They also have a food truck out front.

Yelp
If you like IPAs this place is awesome! They had about 8-10 IPAs on tap and a great selection of blondes/ pale ales too. Their flights are a great way to start - for $22 you can get flight (5 pours) of any of their beers! I liked their Beach Bunny with pineapple and decided to get a full pour of that after sampling the flight. The inside is really cute - it's an old hanger building and there was a good amount of seating indoors including a second level. There is also a patio adjacent with more room to move around. You have to order at the bar but the service was quick. They have a food truck up front serving American food and burgers. Didn't try the food truck but you can also bring in your own food. Very cool place to grab a beer and hang out with friends! Parking was all street parking so I can see it being a little harder to park on a weekend if they're busy.

Yelp
Love this place - doesn't feel like your average brewery, rather a cool bar with great music. Big fan of the folks behind the bar - they gave great recommendations for beer.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! I love the old timey feel when you walk in through the doors! The beertenders are knowledgeable and great with their descriptions of the brews! Ordered 2 flights that were an 8/10. Couple IPA's worth taking home (Santa was a Werewolf being a front runner) but overall I'd say the beers were okay. Personally thinking several of the non-IPA's were "out of style" from a grading/judging perspective. Would definitely come back for more brews!

Yelp
The service SUUUUUCCKKKS! Employees are rude. The man and woman I spoke to when I went in didn't acknowledge me at all as I stood at the bar just waiting. They were in a conversation about what the girl had done over the weekend. I finally spoke up and asked what they recommend for me and I proceeded to explain the type of beers I like. The man said uhh just pick one and pointed to the monitor with the beer menu. So I asked ok can I try a taste first? He looked at the girl he was talking to and they did a stare down like "who is gonna do it?" She finally walked over to the tap and poured a taster for me and put it on the counter and walked away. I tasted it and I didn't really care for it but I felt intimidated at this point to not ask again to try a different one, so I just said OK I'll take a full glass and then the guy poured it for me put it on the counter, and again walked away so I just took the glass and found a seat and sat down. I wanted to buy some beer to take home but I didn't. I'm assuming this establishment probably makes more money selling to bars or stores or what not and don't care about a walk in like me.
