Austin’s New Restaurant & Bar Openings - Austin - The Infatuation

"Papercut is a fancy cocktail bar and art gallery located next to Brew & Brew on East 5th. The menu changes every couple of months, with drinks inspired by a different artist whose work will be on display across the room. Come for the art, stay for the drinks. Or vice versa. Either way, you’ll want to stick around a while." - nicolai mccrary, matthew jacobs

Where To Drink On The East Side - Austin - The Infatuation

"Equal parts art gallery and cocktail bar, Papercut is unlike anything else in Austin. The menu is inspired by the artwork displayed throughout the room, and it changes every few months when the owners put up a different artist’s collection. The drinks we’ve tried so far have been excellent. This place is modern and sleek, with tiny tables anchored around a long metal bar in a dimly lit room. Come for the art, stay for the fancy cocktails. Or vice versa. Either way, you’ll want to stick around a while." - nicolai mccrary, adele hazan, katherine lewin

Best New Cocktail Bars in Austin, April 2025 | Eater Austin

"This sophisticated cocktail bar and art gallery, which opened in December next to Brew & Brew on East Fifth Street, fuses drinks and art in a cool way. The sleek, modern space features black interiors, luxurious leather bar stools, and a minimalist collection of glassware, all accented by striking pieces of art. The cocktail menu changes every few months and is inspired by a different artist whose work is displayed in the gallery. Current drinks include the Paper Cut, a mezcal twist on the paper plane, and the Why Wait? (rye, Yokka Koji awamori, rompope, cocchi, chocolate, and peanut butter)." - Darcie Duttweiler

I don't like to give negative reviews. All I want to know is what their pricing is for us to make an informed decision. After asking multiple questions about my set-up with various different people, I am asked to create a business plan before they can give me pricing. Even asking for a ballpark figure seems to be too much work unless you answer their huge questionnaire. I do not understand how someone has actually purchase their products. Very negative experience with ParerCut.

Google
Shitty software. Requires root access to install and doesn't even work. It just installs a new 'papercut' user in your OS and not the papercut service. If you then try to open the app you'll see 'connection refused' to a localhost address.

Good and on time service from Waref Sharifi and Olivia, I really appreciate your assistance

Google
created a ticket with their it/development team because their app is impossible to hide from the menu bar and the icon is green unlike all the other apps that have white/black icons. the answer i got was a paragraph long of nonsense, basically finding excuses to not take on the task. weird way of communicating.

If you chat on their website for help they direct you to email them. If you email them they send you to the website. If you call them it goes straight to voicemail. edit - I did finally get ahold of someone after multiple attempts. Updating my review.

Google
Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff; Good, solid, affordable, reliable software. A very "made by humans, for humans" feel. Drop in to discuss something and they'll make you an outrageously good cup of coffee. (How is it even possible that free meeting coffee made by software devs can be that good? Yet it is...)

Don't Install this. It is awful, it gets stuck and the spinning circle on non production is on. Daily walks back and forth to the worthless printer, trying for the love of God to get something printed. When papercut gets stuck you have to shut the printer off, then turn in back on. Five minutes later, oh please god work, I just want to get something done today. PaperCut is complete garbage!

Installing and supporting Print Management in the UK, I have used various software solutions over the years. Having installed and supported PaperCut over the last two, I am happy to say that in my opinion it is, by far, the best option out there. Simple to install and manage (it does so many things automatically it is embarrassing) and the support is second to none. As for the Knowledge Base! Every KB should be like this. It just makes mine and my customers lives easier, simple. Yet to sample the dev's barista skills but, hopefully, one day.
